🍹Wow! I loved the passion fruit margarita! So much better than I thought (recommended by an employee). My Sweetheart and I stopped in after playing games at the Great Big Game Show to enjoy the classic burgers and truffle fries. 🍟 🍔 Everything was delicious, and we enjoyed the environment. Burgers were on point. Thank you!

First time having Hopdoddy burgers. Was very impressed the wife and I enjoyed everything even the hospitality manager at the restaurant was a king gentlemen. The Brussel sprout leaves were something I haven't really seen before usually just the tossed whole Brussel. The Cadillac wagyu burger was in all seriousness a delicious burger everything went together and was enjoyable. The Chipotle ketchup was a chefs sweet heat kiss. Will have to make the trip out that way again sometime. It's worth it.

I really love Hopdoddy Burgers. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the service is really good. It’s a perfect place to enjoy a great burger and spend time with friends. Definitely recommend!

Went out to a late lunch with my young men and their grandmother. The burgers were delicious but her reg fries were way too salty. However, it was the spicy pineapple margarita that put it over the top for me!

Maybe our third visit to Hopdoddy and we love it here. I will say I dont come here when I crave a burger but when i want a tasty innovative sandwich. This time we both had the sticky belly. Pretty delicious! The green Chile cheese was GREAT! One side of fries is plenty for 2-3. Haven't been disappointed by the food. The service this particular time was excellent. They offer a great happy hour as well 3-6, Monday to Thursday. Would recommend to anyone looking for something fun and new to eat!

Had high hopes for this place and was throughly let down. We ordered the double bacon jam burger and the buffalo bill burger. The bacon jam burger barely had any "jam" on it and the flavor of the entire burger was mediocre. The buffalo bill burger was better on sauce quantity but the burger was extremely dry. We also ordered the parmesan fries which also disappointed as they were over cooked and had a weird flavor. Very disappointed and will not be going back to try anything else.

Henry at the Town & Country location provided exceptional customer service from the moment we walked into the restaurant. This was our first time dining in and because of Henry taking such great care of us, it surely won’t be the last! Henry took time out to explain the menu, answer any questions and made sure we had a pleasurable experience. Honestly, this location just had amazing staff across the board; from Henry to our food runner, to the bar tender that saw me taking a to-go box out and immediately offered me a proper bag before I walked out the door. I also witnessed another team member pause in the middle of his conversation to open the door for an elderly woman that was simply exiting the restaurant. Thank YOU Hopdoddy for such a wonderful experience and amazing food! See you soon!

Tasty burgers in the lively area of the town. Good selection of drinks, beers and different styles of burgers. Also one without buns, so goes better for those who love bowls. Mouth-feel of the burger was good, would fry the buns a bit myself to make them less fluffy, but 8/10. Tryffle fries were good, I was hoping a bit thicker mayonaise for the dip - but still really nice. Great place for a date!

I've been to this hopdoddy location a couple times now and have no complaints. It was 9pm and I was craving something fresh and this is one of the few spots in city center that's open up late. So we decided to get some fries and the kale Cesar salad. Pretty basic salad but to me it was yummy. Place was clean and the food came out fast!

Can't really go wrong with a quick and easy spot like Hopdoddy's! The service is always super fast, and there is plenty of seating in the restaurant. My favorite/go-to for years has always been the hot honey & sage sweet potato fries! They are so delicious and perfectly sweet/spicy which pairs amazingly with the crispy yet soft on the inside sweet potato. You also can't go wrong with the parmesan truffle fries. I also love that you can order any burger as a salad bowl, which is super great for anyone who is trying to watch their carb intake or just want a little more green in their diet! I got the el diablo as a bowl, and everything was super flavorful and was just the right size to fill me up.

Been on a health craze lately trying the veggie and impossible meat options at different places. I can say that the El bandito as a bowl really surprised me! The black bean and corn patty on top of a bed of veggies and their signature dressing was delicious, and the portion size of the bowl can easily be split between two people. As always the hot honey and sage fries are a go to at Hopdoddy's. Definitely choose these if you want some fries with a sweet and spicy kick! In my opinion, they're so good they don't even need any dipping sauce.

Ordered lunch and was very happy to find the vegan and vegetarian options. I placed an order for the truffle Brussels sprouts and the El Bandito burger which is made with a corn and bean patty. It's was all fairly decent, the Brussels eaves were waaaayy too salty so was hard to eat and the burger was good, minus some of the arugula. I added mushrooms to my burger also which gave it some needed flavor. I don't think I will order again but good to know they have options if I wanted too. The Brussels would've been fantastic if they were so salty.

My wife and I had lunch here today. Located within City Centre outdoor mall. The setting is that of a gastro-pub with a bit bar (full range of beers and hard liquors available) in the center of the dining room. Most booths are bar height. Food was solid. I had: Parmesan Truffle Fries (3/5) - This was just okay for me. Could not taste any truffle and the fries needed to be crispier. Classic Burger [Farmhouse Style] (4/5) - Very good burger. Hit all the right notes with the bacon, egg, cheese, etc. A bit on a smaller side for a pub style burger but the flavors were all there. Overall, if you want a solid burger (and beer), this would be a good place to go.

Normally I don't like burgers or going to hopdoddy because the buns get soggy, and who likes a soggy bun? Well, you can put it on a salad, which I did. Man, that farmhouse burger in a salad was amazing! I also had the queso and fries.... Way too much for one person but I didn't want to share. All my friends who ordered a half order of fries couldn't finish it, their half order was huge. Their ice machine makes the good ice! Yep, they have sonic ice! There was one strange thing, they kept coming to our table to see if we ordered a drink or some food. We didn't and were honest about it, but man can you imagine if we weren't? They came to our table three times with different foods/ drinks.

I started to order through DoorDash but my hubs wanted to dine in so we did. They did not disappoint. We arrived a little after 240PM and were greeted. The food was cooked to perfection! I had the Diablo and my hubby the double bacon jam. We both had purple reign's which was amazing! They checked on us often. The music was on point too! We agreed we will be back as we must try the shakes!

Once upon a time (in 2017-2018) when TGI Fridays was considered fine dining and when there were very few of the fast casual/ hipster boutique burger spots, Hopdoddy was considered a gem and a great spot to get some gourmet patties. At the time, Hopdoddy was hip, cool, and delivered on the food quality. The spot in River Oaks was usually packed and very busy. Now fast forward that 6-7 years and Hopdoddy is more of a corporate giant in the space, with non stop commercials while you are watching YouTube and with a chain location in every suburb/ mall area. Having not traveled to a Hopdoddy location in about 3-4 years, I went to grab a burger during a weekday lunch. The interior is still around the same as expectations, with a very casual bar feel to the spot. You go in and place your order and food is brought out to you but you get your own drinks and such; much like a Torchy's dining experience. I got the nacho fries (sans sour cream) and their wagyu burger (sans Swiss cheese) which totaled somewhere around $27 after tax. The fries were drenched in a cheese sauce and some pico and served in a metal bowl. It was a bit of an odd and much too casual presentation but power to them, I guess. The texture of the fries were a bit on the soft side and it didn't taste very fresh. There wasn't an epic crunch or great mouthfeel and they honestly tasted close to an air fried pack of frozen fries from H-E-B. Not great but not terrible. The burger was brought out a bit after the fries. The patty itself tasted like 85/15 ground beef to me and wasn't super beefy or flavorful like you would expect. It was also a bit on the undercooked side; if there was some more texture on the outside and a bit more fat rendered out, the patty could've been tastier. The bacon on the burger was a bit hard and tasted pre-cooked, and the rest of the topping were forgettable. The buns were obviously not made fresh. A couple options to improve the menu in my opinion; hand cut fries that were a bit larger in diameter and with more texture difference, freshly made burger buns, better quality meat for their patties, some more appetizer offerings besides variations of their standard French fries. Overall it was an okay but forgettable burger and meal. Going back to the start, in 2024 there are many other burger chains that cater to the casual bro crowd at the $12-$16 range which do a much better job with ambiance, menu offerings, and execution/food quality compared to in 2016/2017. Hopdoddy no longer stands out for me in that positive light and compared to the many competitors in the same food space, it is overwhelmingly average in both meal experience and taste. Once upon a time, it was a standout spot for an upper scale burger experience that you would want to go on a date to but now it stays firmly in the corporate chain burger space that's in every major suburb.

Not a bad place to get an Ahi burger after run club City Centre Mondays. It was a little raw since it missed the grill when delivered but they were able to produce a well cooked ahi burger on 2nd try that definitely was better. Service was good and food was delivered quickly for fries for our run club compadres. Outside tables were plentiful and cool chill area inside if want to escape the heat.

Decided to check out HopDaddy since they sponsor the City Centre Run Club and thought that was cool. After doing a quick run with club, we hopped over to HopDaddy. Service was amazing and so courteous. They even offered a military discount for my fave Yelpie . Ahi burger was the menu of choice and it was a little raw when delivered but came out perfectly cooked when returned the 2nd time out. Hop Daddy has plenty of sitting area outside as we enjoyed the complimentary fries from Monday Run Club sponsor .It was fun to catch up with some old and new friends . Recommend this place for a quick burger . A little pricey but the place had yummy garlic thin sliced fries and service was relatively quick.

Nice casual, walk up counter burger bar. Our group of three had two burgers, Nashville hot chicken switch and fries. The food was 'good', but the atmosphere was the best part. Servers were pleasant and prompt. We were there for a mid week lunch only, so I can't speak for their adult beverages. Great workday lunch meet-up place with lots of surrounding upscale retail.

Had burger and fries as well as drink Fries were not that crispy but more like wet if it was crispy outside and soft inside that would be awesome. Burgers were good! No ice was available at that time when we were there for drink! I like the vibe of the restauranth tho! Come and cheers!

Food was terrible! Burger was tiny, way overcooked and bun was dry. Person who took our order mumbled when she spoke. This place tries too hard and fails miserably at it! If you want a great burger, friendly service and much better value, Beck's Prime is your ticket. Been here twice and will not make a third visit.

The food here is the The fries are on another level! I would like a gallon of Chipotle Aioli - yummy! I hv tried several of their burgers, all delish! But recently I ordered from the Children's menu. Priced reasonably, and the size was just perfect. I usually have leftovers but the size was just enough. I ate half my burger in the pic- sorry! I was starving. But it's a good size. You have to request toppings. The Magic Shroom, El Diablo, and Double Bacon Jam - all highly recommend. They are huge! Burger in a bowl - also very good! And not as heavy as a burger. Don't sleep on their bar...they make tasty drinks too. Great for after a long day at work!

Great happy hour. Well it was great. Before December 2023 if you sat at the bar everything was 50% off! Service is great food is good and not overly crowded to where you cant get a seat at the bar. I go during the week and it is typically around 5:30. parking is near by in the garage. I do recommend and will continue to visit. the 50% off is not gone but not has limits and only on certain items.

I tried the rice village location through doordash but by the time i got it; it was cold. However, this was one of thee most best burgers I had... even without the temperature. So of course I had to make my way in so I can experience the goodness warm. This location is in a shopping area meaning the parking is not easy to get (at least that was my time here). When walking in go straight in line, order your food, drinks and they will assign you a table if you want to eat in. Very laid back! I ordered a margarita... it was ok; but didn't come for that anyways. Food: The classic with white American cheese, caramelized onions with a buffalo fry. Everything was still bussin!!!!!! The burger was seasoned and had those like small frill burns, just the right amount of caramelized onion and the fries were on point (I would've preferred a lil pink but i didn't request it). Crazy how it still was cold before I finished. Its extremely cold inside; this will be my only gripe. Definitely adding to my bookmarks!

It's a burger spot, in a place of so many other choices. But if is a burger you want, this would be an ok choice. Make sure to tell them how you liked you meat cooked, especially if you like it well done. The bun and veggies were fresh, and tasty. BTW cheese and bacon are extra on the Classic burger. The cashier was pretty informative. Made great suggestions, but you can tell, it's just J.O.B. (Just over broke) for her. Typical sit down burger spot. TVs, sports, and maybe 6 total TVs. Not to loud, although there's this annoying mid-pitch mechanical buzz from somewhere, I just couldn't pin point it. The place is clean, and plenty of space. I'd eat here again.... Ohh!!! They have a bar in the middle of the restaurant. I didn't have anything becaus the alcohol and humidity just doesn't work for me. Cool spot.

The service here is excellent, but the food is extremely substandard compared to their other locations. I've frequently visited the locations in the Rice Village and in Austin and love both. Unfortunately, this location was pretty bad.

This is not my favorite Hopdoddy location. At this one, the drinks were really weak, and the burgers weren't as flavorful. The parmesan truffle fries were still great, but I just wasn't impressed with this one compared to others like the Hopdoddy in Rice Village.

Well they took the impossible burger away and I just had a full fledge fight on my anniversary date because of it. L. O. L. Won't be coming back unfortunately, bad memories, bloody meat.

I haven't been to Hopdoddy in awhile. But, I remember their burgers and fries were delicious. My usual go to burger had been the El Diablo burger (it's still the bomb). But, on this visit, I wanted to try a new burger and eyed their Llano Poblano burger. This burger was awesome. I loved the roasted poblano peppers and crispy bacon. It went so well with their beefy burger. We also got parmesan truffle fries to share, and it was delicious as well. It's worth mentioning that their El Bandito (vegan) burger was pretty good. Their patty was surprisingly well seasoned. Next time I return to Hopdoddy, I want to try out their Thunderbird chicken sandwich and green chile queso fries.

I didn't find the place food or drinks anything special or worth giving it a second chance, we stopped by before a show to get some food and drinks the server took forever to take our order even though we were sitting in the bar area, the drinks were mediocre at best, and the only had ONE brand of tequila what? It was casa amigos I usually like to try tequila from mexico. Also the place in itself looked dirty or it gave me the impression of low maintenance I don't know I didn't feel like I wanted to come back.

Always a solid burger and the hot honey and sage sweet potatoes fries were something new and different for me. What gets me about this place is you have to go with someone as the fries are served in a portion size designed for two rather than one. So $30 for two burgers and fries isn't bad, but $20 for a burger and fries (if you want the fun flavors) if you are by yourself is a bit pricy. Parking can be a bit annoying depending on the time of day. I generally just suggest parking in the garage and walking over.

Nice location! I had some good tasty burgers and brussel sprouts as a side. Delicious! A bit on the pricier end but worth it.

After getting the truffle mac and cheese it should have been labeled as truffle mashed potatoes. The noodles were so overcooked they were mush. The manager didn't care to hear about the mac and cheese and didn't care to make fresh mac.

W food, love the truffle fries such a big bowl for a great price. W burgers, they save a variety with special ones monthly I think. W service, nice people. W ambiance, located in a shopping center with a variety of places near. Overall Dub.

This burger joint wasn't bad. The fries were nice, crispy and fresh. Filled with lots of Parmesan, i didn't taste much truffle tho. They had all the sauces on the side as well as malt vinegar (which surprisingly tasted bomb on the fries. The burger was okay. The only bun they had available was the bbq bun. Which was bbq seasoning baked into the bun. It was a different flavor that i wasn't used to. But it wasn't bad. The burger patty were good. Juicy and not too thick. I realized I'm a smash burger kinda girl, so this one was too much for me. It was within walking distance to my hotel so it was easy to get to. They do not accept cash so have your card ready. The staff were nice and friendly. They brought out the food to you and asked if you needed anything more. They have indoor and outdoor seating so it worked out pretty well. The chicken tenders were also pretty amazing! No onion rings tho -_- i would come again in Houston. See pics below

I've always liked, not loved, other Hopdoddy locations and a friend wanted to meet here for lunch. Omgolly THE SALT. Everything was excessively and aggressively salted. The fries were cold and - you may guess this - WAYYYY too salty. The 2nd batch was even saltier! Service was a bit slow. Food was absolutely poor in comparison to all prior experiences. Even the milkshake was 'off'.

Had lunch with my son today and I suggested we try out hopdoddy . He was impressed with his burger and so was I . Burger was so juicy and flavorful. The bun was delicious too. We enjoyed the fries as well . Everything was delicious can't wait to go again. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. Good job hopdoddy.

Food was good, environment is nice. I didn't care for standing in line to order this place should have waiters, there's like 4-5 people just standing there at all times when you put in your order. Then you have to go check if your drink is coming or not etc. they are paying enough employees to stand there, just wait on the customer and take the order at the table.

Great casual spot with delicious food and drinks. Always lots of people of all ages. Even when it's super crowded, it doesn't get too loud.

This place is the best, food and service was so good, i ended up forgetting my keys at the restaurant and didn't realize until i got home and i called passed closing they picked up the phone and said i could get my keys early morning!

Best sweet potatoes in Houston. The burger was equally amazing. The service was average nothing good nothing bad. The place looks like rustic type. Would go again

I used to love Hopdoddy, I normally go to the Galleria location and i've never had a problem. I regret going to this City Center location. It was awful. They ran out of what I usually get (the Buffalo Bill) so i opted for the classic burger with avocado and bacon. This wasn't an issue because I usually get one or the other. I also ordered truffle fries. The cashier is usually supposed ask you how you want your burger and if you want all your food to come out together or if you would like your appetizers first. Yeah, our cashier failed to do that. I don't know if they were just being lazy but the service and quality aspect was definitely not there. Our burgers came out first. The bread was not even buttered and the fries came out late. I was thinking that at least if the fries come out late they better be good. It seemed like they just peeled a potato and gave it to us. The fries were soggy as hell and under cooked. My husband got the Nashville hot chicken and that whole sandwich was just breading. There wasn't any chicken. Also, I don't know if Hopdoddy has changed the way they plate entrees because they gave us a tray normally for utensils as our burger tray. They failed to even bring a fork so that I could eat my fries. Now I know, Hopdoddy's service isn't anything spectacular; they take your order and give you a table number and you basically grab everything else yourself. No one even walked by my table. I had to get up and walk all the way to the kitchen because the servers failed to do so. I recommend Hopdoddy but not this location.

Serviced at the bar. Friendly bartender/ server. Meal ordered and delivered quickly and correctly. Ate it all! Had 2 burgers, 2 beers and shared fries. Will go back again!

The nacho fries were incredible. The only way I can describe it is like comfort food that you would chow down on during a movie and still wish you had purchased more. It had a slight spice that didn't bother me but if you cannot stand spicy foods, don't order this. I will come back just to order the fries for me and my family. My bandita burger was a little dry, but very hearty and flavorful. I recommend this for vegans if they request it without cheese. I was pleased by their plastic booth dividers, easily accessible paper towels at the table, foot bar that stopped my body from sliding off the seat, and full length mirror in the women's restroom.

Solid 4 star experience for sure. The bartenders are always great and accommodating. The food is what you would expect from a Hopdoddy. I tried the Nashville Chicken Sandwich and it was really good. My only knocks are the burger sizes (on the small side), and the Oreo shake had little flavor (mostly vanilla, with small Oreo pieces).

Only reason it gets 3 stars is because of the size of the burger. Small but very tasty. Fries were to die for

This place is really cool and has a good vibe. The beer was really cold and was served in a cool chilled beer glass. They have a lot of local beers on tap. The food was spot on as well. The burger was delicious and the bread was really soft. Only issue I had was the fries and just being picky.

Just hit their location in Nashville - excellent burger - honestly not as perfect as whoever cooks at the Houston Domain site but I will return. Just not as convenient so I won't be a regular like I used to. If you open one closer to Franklin- let me know.

Awful burgers and bad service. Iced tea is diluted and tastes like water. Burger had so much salt could not eat it. Fries undercooked big time. One burger bun still doughy and white not even making the middle of their own bun quality chart behind the counter. Recommend staying away from this place.

Burger patty was dry. Service was not pleasant. We forgot to mention to order the gluten-free buns for both me and my partner's orders, so we went to ask if we can still order them. The kitchen manager became stern and lectured me about ordering the buns before they make the burger, all while pointing his fingers at me. The cashier was about to charge us for our entire order, and was unapologetic. The two staff were very rude. Truffle Fries were good but terrible dine-in experience.

Our favorite burger place, hands down!!! The mushroom burger, the truffle fries....everything!!!! My 10 year old son is obsessed. Recommend it!

The burgers and fries look and taste like cardboard. The price and the area are not for such mediocre hamburgers. The staff is really friendly. Don't waste your money.

Ate here countless times, but why? They are consistent, consistently wrong. I'm not even going to tell you what happened today. It was so ridiculous that it blew my mind!

Went in on a Saturday night around 7:30, the palace was packed. We had to wait 45 minutes to get served as we were innformed they ran out of buns and had to wait about 30 min to make some more. The staff was not very friendly which I was super disappointed in. You always felt very rushed and not very welcomed. Finally we were able to order and then assigned a table whicH I though was weird as well. We did ordder drinks and the beer was good, the mixed drinks were expensive and watered down. The burger was ok, for the price I have definitely had better, joy love in Katy is hands down one of tHE best I have ever had. I believe this restaurant is misty hyped up because of the area of location. I would definitely not go out of my way to return .
