"I note that the Austin original Hopdoddy Burger Bar, now with locations across the U.S., will open its fourth Space City outpost at CityCentre (798 Sorella Court, Suite 199). The name—coming from the hops in beer and “Doddie” cattle used for the burgers—reflects the beer-and-beef mash-up the new location will emphasize, including a rotating “Brew Series” of burger-and-beer pairings; for its opening month in October the Au Jus burger will be paired with Saint Arnold beer. In addition to the regular menu, diners will find standby burgers loaded with hot peppers, mushrooms, pesto, and cheeses, plus vegetarian patties, poultry, and ahi tuna; sides include Kennebec and sweet potato fries either plain or loaded, and shakes come in flavors like s’mores and strawberry shortbread. Diners can wash it all down with margaritas, cocktails, and local brews on tap. The new Hopdoddy opens Monday, October 8 at 11 a.m., and will operate Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m." - Alaena Hostetter
