Host Restaurant

This is my favourite restaurant in Dublin. Concise menu but dishes are perfectly cooked and presented. Always enjoy the chefs menu; the steak is the best I’ve ever had. Love when they do they chocolate pot too. Love the concept of sharing plates so that one can enjoy multiple dishes. A little on the pricey side so usually go here for special occasions but it’s worth every penny given the quality of the food. Also the portions are very generous so it’s good value. Service is always excellent and very friendly/helpful with recommendations/wine pairings. Great vibe and music too! Can’t wait to come back soon!

Absolutely unreal spot for food. I’m easily satisfied when it comes to food but it’s so rare that I’m actually impressed. Dishes are perfectly seasoned to the right amount, not too salty which I feel a lot of restaurants in Dublin currently can’t achieve. They all think salt = flavour. Don’t bother looking at the menu at all if you don’t have dietary restrictions and just get the chefs menu, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is to share and it comes with two starters, two pasta dishes, a main and two sides of choice. There is also a dessert of choice to share at the end. Staff were so accommodating and friendly as well.

Heard good things about this place, finally got the opportunity to drop in there, and the place definitely lives up to its reputation. Reservation is definitely required. Superb service from the staff, excellent food and clean environment. The tables could be slightly distanced perhaps? Regardless the food is what we are here for, and it definitely will tempt us to come back again. We had the pork chops and steak, a couple of starters and a couple of desserts to end the meal. Hopefully the photos do the place some justice! Thank you all!! :)

Superb food! We ordered the “Chef’s menu” and everything was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Loved the intimate vibe of the place.

What a dinner! If you want to say ‘I had one best and wholesome meals ever…’, definitely treat yourself to Hosts chef menu. Everything that was served us was exceptional. Now for the dishes… I’m picky on my steaks and have to say the way our ribeye was grilled - the char on it, the flavors, it was just perfect 🤌🏽! Cheers to the grillmaster! Everything else including the wine that was recommended worked out really well! 5 star to the staff - everyone was genuine and wanted the guests to have a good time. Thank you chef and the team! Looking forward to be back soon.

My wife and I went to Host last week for the first time and to be honest, the food was excellent. The menu was quite different from most other restaurants in the area and it was good to have something completely different and each course was of good size portions. The quality and taste of the good was first class as was the service. We would not hesitate to recommend Host to anyone. Thank you Host for a great meal and a great evening. Mr Mrs Tyler

I’ve only come here once because it’s always booked up for weeks but well worth it. Very good food. The steak is to die for. The pasta is perfection. Can’t wait for my next visit.

Very small restaurant with high quality food. They're usually booked out weeks in advance, so make sure to make a reservation. We had a bunch of starters and pasta, they have a requirement to order min 3 dishes per person. Everything was tasty, but my favorite was the burrata with peaches. Overall a really good experience, 4/5 stars as most dishes aren't anything special and quite pricey. They're mainly standing out for the high food quality.
