I want to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful stay I had at your establishment. The views from my room were simply spectacular, and the impeccable cleanliness made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay. Additionally, I want to highlight the attention of the staff, who were attentive at all times and always willing to help with a smile. The location of the hostel is unbeatable, with the most emblematic tourist sites of Madrid just five minutes away. Congratulations on offering such excellent service! We really like this low cost option for central accomodations. The staff were super nice and the room was very clean. A very comfortable bed gave us the rest we needed to explore the local area where there were many nice bars and restaurants as well as more tourist attractions like the main Square and Market.

I have never written a review before, but I felt that it was necessary. The building: The building is placed in a great location. That is the only positive. The hostel is located on the third floor of an apartment building. The neighbors are loud and disgusting. You will constantly hear coughing and screaming throughout the night. In addition, there is a buzzer to the apartment building that people will constantly ring throughout the night. For hours on end people were constantly buzzing the apartment building. It is almost impossible to fall asleep. The rooms: The rooms in this hostel are incredibly small and quite dirty. In addition, I did not receive any house keeping the entire time I was here. The TV remote was broken in my room. The shower did not work properly. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything around you. The staff: The staff were okay, but not great. There is almost never anyone at the reception desk. In addition, some of the staff come across as rude. Price: Completely over priced for all the horrible aspects mentioned in earlier. Overall, this place is awful. Do not stay here. The location is not worth it.

Stayed one night, woke up to see a bed bug, and yes it was confirmed a bed bug right next to my head. This situation was handled professionally and promptly with a full refund. After seeing the bug I pulled the sheets back and didn’t see any others but when there is one there are often many. Beyond this the central AC vent in the room would not stay open and I had to wedge a pen in the vent for any air to come out. There was also a constant noise in the night of a valve squeaking open, water flowing and then squeaking closed every 15 seconds. Had planned to stay 3 nights and was gone at 10am after the first night. With all that said I cannot encourage anyone to stay here. The staff did handle the situation correctly and promptly and I hope they go through the proper precautions to eradicate the bed bugs.

This was my first experience staying in an older building that appeared to be rehabbed for use as a hotel/hostel. Our room was tiny & basic but clean. The en suite was fairly spacious compared to the room size. The view left little too be desired. We were on the interior just above where the garbage was stored from the nearby restaurants/bars and could almost reach across to the people at the neighboring apartments. The worst bit was the wall our bed was on must have been up against where the main stack for the building was run, or at least for the upper floors. Everytime the toilet flushed I felt like I might drown at any minute. As a light sleeper this did not go over well but as we were only booked for 2 nights I decided to just suck it up. We felt the location was pretty good though, easily walkable to many bars and restaurants. Very friendly staff as well.

Rooms were nice, well-sized and clean. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Location was fantastic. Unfortunately plumbing sounds can be heard throughout the night and worst of all, the radiator in the room could not be turned off. While everything else was very good, this was enough to knock it down to 3 stars as it made sleeping pretty difficult.

We have staid 5 nights there... not a good experience. The hostel was really difficult to find, no one at the reception, the door was so small we could hear everyone one around us, including this nice couple who have enjoyed having sex during all night. The bathroom was dirty, our towels weren’t change at all, and there was stain on it when it was supposed to be clean., if you want only a place to sleep with noise go there, otherwise you should go somewhere else ..
