L'Hostellerie d'Acquigny

"This small village inn with a lively contemporary vibe has been run by the same couple for many years. As keen as ever, chef Éric Georget rustles up generous and indulgent modern cuisine to make your mouth water, organising it into a set menu and an à la carte menu. Carefully selected produce goes into dishes that are packed with flavour: fillet of John Dory and poached oyster with seaweed butter and, for dessert, Calvados and apple hot soufflé. Pleasant guestrooms available." - Michelin Inspector

We go there for dinner at least once each time we are in Normandy (that is around 3 x per year), often taking special guests with us. We think it is a magnificent restaurant. We don't know about the rooms because we have no need of them

The food was excellent; however, what I loved even more was the seamless service: the staff seemed to know exactly what i wanted and when I wanted it before I even did - wonderful!

Lovely nights stay here. Beautiful food and situated in a lovely village/ town. Staff very friendly and helpful, as was Zoe the cat. Lovely pool which we did not have time to use. We will definitely go back there.

This is the second time we've stayed at this lovely hotel/restaurant and hopefully we'll return. Not only are the rooms beautifully presented and of the highest quality but the staff and owners offered nothing but great service. The food is absolutely delicious at a reasonable price and offered a very good selection. Highly recommended!

Good place to go holiday but the toilet stank and I clogged it with a massive log

We have stayed here many times and the rooms and meals are excellent.||However there were a few small niggles this time which was disappointing.||It was exceptionally cold weather when we stayed and unfortunately only one radiator was working in our room. There was reversible clim as well but it’s a little noisy and we prefer not to have blown air. There were no blankets or throws to add to the duvet to increase warmth.||The restaurant only has an à la carte menu at weekends which was very expensive. It was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed every mouthful but….at a cost which we felt a little uncomfortable with. A 10cl glass of wine was 10€ which we also thought was overpriced. I accept we should have checked but we’ve been so often, we had got blasé. We had to ask for bread. ||My husband wanted breakfast at 7.45 am but the earliest we could have was 8.30 am. In fact, the lovely lady who provided breakfast was there at 8.10 and we enjoyed it !||The night’s B and B plus 2 course evening meal with glass of wine each, cost 270€. Which, while extremely pleasant, makes a very expensive overnight stop !||We wish Fanny well but may make other arrangements next year, very very sadly.

Had a lovely stay at the Hostellerie d'Acquigny. Staff and owners were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were well appointed but the highlight was the cuisine. Excellent terroir kitchen that attracts a lot of locals too. The wine list has quite a few expensive bottles but we found a few that were reasonably priced.
