Alvi was our server. We had an advanced reservation for 14 for Saturday night with a 7:30PM seating, and our guests were arriving in different groups, some much after our seating time, but the staff was patient and very accommodating. We had a great visit and experience for Patrick's 18th birthday on Sep 27 with all his girlfriends (and a couple token guys invited too, lol). We had a party of about 14 people, with 18 and under enjoying Shirley Temples and a couple of glasses of house vino for the parents. The final today was very reasonable, $905 including automatic service charge. We brought our own rum cakes from Moulin Rose Bakery on Sunset Drive in Kendall. Owner came out to meet us and drank complimentary shots of... something strong... with us. Granny needed to be pushed back to car, asleep before pulling away from the curb.

This is the best Italian food I've ever had. I ordered the four cheese gnocchi and my husband had the chicken alfredo and both were amazing! I also ordered the espresso martini and a mojito and both were perfectly balanced... not overly sweet, just how I like it! Our server Marcello was awesome!!! We will definitely be back next time we visit Miami!

Hosteria Romana in Miami is simply outstanding! We were filming at the restaurant, and the service was beyond exceptional. The staff treated our production team with incredible attention and kindness, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. They even came to toast with us, which made us feel truly welcomed and part of their family. The atmosphere is warm, authentic, and inviting, and the food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant not only for dining but also as a fantastic location for productions and events. Hosteria Romana is a true Miami gem!

This place was absolutely amazing! We had such a great time here, it honestly felt like a little trip to Italy right in Miami. The food was incredible, especially the tiramisu (seriously sooo good!) And coffee was also sooo good ☕️ Everything tasted fresh. Our server, Leo, was super sweet and so nice. Can’t wait to come back again soon! 🇮🇹✨

It’s like being in Italy having Italian food here! Bread was fresh, the seafood soup was amazing, the grilled octopus had a perfect consistency and the mushroom pasta was just right! Love this place

Amazing place! The staff here are the best — especially when it comes to the food and service. Our server Alessandro was such a nice guy — super friendly and very handsome! The atmosphere is great, and I’d definitely recommend stopping by if you’re on Española Way. Especially if you’re celebrating a birthday — the staff go above and beyond to make your day special with singing and fun energy!

The burrata was honestly the freshest and richest I’ve ever tasted — unbelievably creamy and full of flavor. Absolute perfection. And the service made it even better. Our waiter was so kind and genuinely helpful… and, I’ve gotta say, adorably cute on top of it all. A total win all around!

Atticio is a fantastic server. He really helped make sure you order what you like and want and the food is off the hook! Amazing and comprehensive selections for entrees, desert and service.

A Million-Star Experience at Hosteria Romana! I can't say enough about the incredible experience we had at Hosteria Romana in Miami Beach! A heartfelt thank you to SHEMESH/SOLand the entire staff for serving us the best food ever. Every dish was bursting with flavor and made with love, leaving us craving more. The ambiance was nothing short of magical, with beautiful music filling the air, including some of my favorite Israeli songs that added a special touch. The energy and warmth made it an unforgettable evening. If I could give this restaurant a million stars, I would! Hosteria Romana is truly a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food, a vibrant atmosphere, and a memorable dining experience. Every time we've dined here it's always been excellent. The staff are all so sweet and friendly. Food is great and the whole ambiance is amazing. We didn't have a restaurant but they were able to accommodate seven of us. It didn't take long to get a table as there was a party finishing up. Our waiter, the sweet guy which I believe is Luca or Gino. Don't quite remember. Totally different but, believe it was one of them. The sweetest and to top things off, he remembered me from months ago at a different restaurant where he was also working. Small world and great memory. Food menu is great with all your classic Italian dishes. They even could accommodate something if it wasn't in the menu. Which was helpful for the kids that were with us. The starters were great, the large charcuterie board and the sides of olives. There was seven of us and that board was plenty. Entrees were great, the seafood pasta with the lobster tail. Bolognese, pizza all excellent. Also, I love the crowd participation with the napkins waving during a certain time. It's a crowd pleaser all the time. We were able to bring in some sweets as it was a birthday celebration. Overall, the meal was excellent. Food was great, staff were amazing and friendly. The whole experience was great. Will for sure be back again.

STAY AWAY. i do pizza reviews. i was walking with my gf and we saw the staff singing very passionately happy birthday to a customer so we thought it was good. we sat down and ate the bread and "olive oil" at the table. it tasted like oily water, i could barely taste any olive. i ordered 2 pizzas and it tasted like nothing. The dough is not homemade, its frozen. And each pizza was $25-$30! Unacceptable but the restaurant is decorated nicely ALEJANSE! Hago reseñas de pizzas. Estaba caminando con mi novia y vimos al personal cantando muy apasionadamente feliz cumpleaños a un cliente, así que pensamos que era bueno. Nos sentamos y comimos pan y "aceite de oliva" en la mesa. Sabía a agua aceitosa, apenas podía saborear aceitunas. Pedí 2 pizzas y no sabía a nada. La masa no es casera, está congelada. ¡Y cada pizza costaba entre $ 25 y $ 30! Inaceptable pero el restaurante está muy bien decorado.

This place has a fun activity that before they play a certain song they inform us to twist together our table napkins and twirl them in the air on cue. The restaurant is covered in red lighting. The bar tenders are very active and being praised for their good job by many guests. The waitstaff work together as a team and have smiles while engaging amongst themselves and us the guests. The food lacked no flavor or cheese and you can't go wrong with flavor and cheese.

Alessandro was the best! Great menu and recommendations. A definite must if you are looking for Italian on Española Way on South Beach.

This was an experience. Definitely a place for tourists but the all Italian speaking staff are there to make sure you enjoy yourself. From the dancing to the napkin twirling it's a riot. Portion sizes are large and the antipasto is decent. Marco, on his fourth day, was a pleasure.

We love this place so much we went two nights in a row. Everything you order is excellent. They also have a great drink list and fun ambience outside on Espanola Way.

South beach hot spot and quite crowded even mid-week. Despite the unapologetic touristy elements (like gawdy red lights), the food is outstanding, delivery prompt and service knowledgeable. Fettuccine alla bolognese Obviously fresh homemade pasta with delicious and savory meat sauce. There's no denying - this is grandmas recipe and you can feel the care and love. This was actually our second dinner but we still had no problems wolfing down the entire pasta dish. I would come back here everytime and brave the crowds but if you like that type of energy, then there's no excuse. Highly recommend! That's all...

Alvise was great ! Food was amazing and ambiance was great ! Would recommend 10/10. Went with a group of 8 and we had a super quick turnaround food come out super fast!

Española st itself has a pretty amazing vibe. If you want to sit outside you either need a reservation or to wait for it. However if you don't mind sitting inside, we got right in around 5:30 PM. The inside seating in my opinion is just as good considering the large windows in the front. The service was great, but what I want to highlight was the gnocchi with 4 cheese. Having experienced a nonni who made it routinely from scratch and who was from Italy, there aren't many places who do it right. The gnocchi here was to die for! Would recommend if you like it. Great vibe, great food, not a bad price!

Waiter Spilled Drink. ask for no mushrooms because highly allergic they brought entree with mushrooms and waiter gave an attitude. don't go here. people see a line and think its the place to be and it's not.

Loved Alvine out waiter he was so nice and timely! Pasta was so fresh and good and when we couldn't finish it because we were full, he la med it up for us!

This is one of my favorite places to eat. My wife and I enjoy visiting and often bring out of town guests here. Nestled on a walkable street on South Beach, most of the restaurant seating is patio style. The service has always been friendly and fantastic. The food and drinks are exceptional. Would highly recommend the fettuccine alla ruota di parmigiano. They bring the dish out and cook it in a large cheese wheel! Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for Italian food!

We had a lovely time at this restaurant. We were a family of five. We felt very well cared for. The service was top notch. The decor is authentic and pretty. The ladies' restrooms were fun, see pictures. Their bread was insanely good. It came with an amazing garlic, olive oil dip. We also sampled 2 x gnocchi dishes, a pizza, a carbonara pasta, and chicken Milanese. All were excellent. I recommend!

Walking down Espanola way we came upon this restaurant. Very lively atmosphere with traditional Italian music and lots of happy dancing patrons inside. The hostess sat us inside as requested and immediately upon being sat our server Daniele C greeted us. He brought us cold water and introduced himself . Very cordial. We opted for more cold Aqua Panna water. Our glasses never went empty. I had the frutti de la mare and my husband had the chicken Parmigiana. As we were waiting, we enjoyed some warm bread and oil...soooo good. The Wait for our entrees sped by. The portions were hot and perfect size. My dish was full of shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels, and octopus, all in a garlic white wine sauce, topped with freshly grated Parmigiano cheese. The herbs in this dish were so fresh and plentiful. My husband's noodles were cooked al dente perfectly. Not to thin, not to thick, and huge portion!!! Plenty of leftovers. No room for desert. Lol The atmosphere in here is very welcome. Lively yet relaxed. Great music, great cultural recognition in the design aesthetic, and on top of it all our server Daniele C was excellent. We had great conversation with him, his professional manner was of the highest caliber and we will definitely come back and request him each time. Will recommend on my business page as well. Great location right off the closed off street in Miami Beach. Fun people watching and great service and foods. I had the mushroom sauce pasta which was spectacular for this mushroom lover. Fun service and plenty of excitement.

This is one of the best restaurants of Miami. Every year I come here to eat. And they never disappoints. The food here is magnificent. Any thing you ordered is so good. I try something new every time. It's like being at home in someone's family kitchen. It's always a good time here. Everyone one who works here down to the hostess are so cheerful. The music and the atmosphere makes everyone stop and stare from all the fun that's happening. I always say the other restaurants must be jealous cause it's always a party here. That's what caught my eye the waving of all the napkins. And now I come here all the time. Literally I plan this place on my trips because I love it so much. I will post all my dinners from here soon.

We had a wonderful time together. I loved the atmosphere and the music! The meal my partner selected for me was a wonderful surprise. In spite of the fact that one of the dishes could have been better and one of the drinks we got were pretty overpriced, overall, I was satisfied with the experience. (visited march 2024)

Looking for awesome Gnocchi? It's right here!! We had the 4-cheese Gnocchi and it simply melted in the mouth. Great music, great food, ambience, and fast service.

The vibes of the place were super cute and espanola way is the absolute cutest little promenade! Didn't think this place was anything special tho Cacio e Pepe: the sauce tasted a bit too floury for my liking. Wish it tasted a bit more light and fresh than it did. The chicken that I added was dry and quite mid. Veggie pasta: they were kind enough to make us a vegetarian pasta with tomato sauce, veggies and penne. It was just a normal penne pasta and we added some salt and chili flakes too it as well.

From the moment you step inside, the ambiance transports you to the rustic charm of an Italian trattoria, with warm hues and inviting aromas that set the stage for an amazing dining experience. The service is impeccable. The staff exudes genuine warmth and hospitality, making you feel like part of the family from the moment you arrive. I was worried that the service would be bad because of how packed and busy they were but everyone was so enthusiastic about their job and so attentive. The Pappardelle Pasta was so good. The wide ribbons of pasta are cooked to perfection and tossed in a rich, savory sauce. We ended with the Panna cotta . Perfect texture of silky smoothness and delicately sweet, it melts in your mouth with each spoonful. Topped with strawberries, it was soooo delicious. Now the full experience of the restaurant was so fun. We came with a group of people and the atmosphere was so lively and fun. There were several times where they encouraged us to wave our napkins in the air. Also, the sparklers and display for anyones bdays were fun to watch. Overall, such a fun place to go to with family and on top of that each dish was so flavorful and delicious we all left full and satisfied!

The food excellent and the portions were sharable. The bread and olive oil were a nice touch. The service was poor. He was not attentive and didn't recommend desert. We had to ask for the menu. The music was so loud we couldn't talk at our table.

I make sure I have a reservation to this place each time I visit miami. The vibe of this restaurant is just fabulous! The staff sings and dances every hour or so and makes everyone swirl their napkins in the air! If it is your birthday or anniversary tell them coz they will surely make it special for you! The food is decent as well. They have a bunch of pastas that they make inside the cheese wheel which is pretty cool to see and eat.

Lowkey one of the best spots to have dinner in miami beach! All of the food was good; I got the hawaiian pizza and my comrades got the pasta and steak. It was certainly a 5 star quality food and for the price of miami beach, it wasn't that bad. Also, they had a little towel wave where everyone in the restaurant waved their towel and that was pretty fun. Service was quick and very respectful. 10/10!

Service was 3.5/5 overall it was okay! Nothing spectacular. I think its a really nice location, you can dress it up or down depending on you and your occasion. Its a beautiful street of outdoor string of restaurants so its nice, chill nightlife scene. Food wise I give the lobster ravioli a 4.5/5 it was a great serving size & the sauce was delicious. I ended up mixing the sauce with the other noodles and bread too, it was so good. The prices are high end but that ravioli was good. For the alfredo I definitely would not get it again, the mushroom chunks were rather large and the sauce on the noodles was thin with lots of chunks from the cheese wheel. I give it a 2/5, especially at that price point. The Caesar salad was also a 2/5 and not worth spending almost $20 on. What was a wonderful end to the meal tho was that tiramisu!!! 5/5 for me. Delicious! I think for ~$50 per entree I'd try somewhere else but if I was here I'd do the lobster ravioli and for sure some tiramisu!

Atmosphere is fun and our server was okay. The food is absolutely overpriced. 59 dollars for their fettuccine Alfredo- had zero taste and wasn't prepared the way the menu claims. Go anywhere else on that strip. Paperfish is great. Oh, Mexico is amazing! Pick somewhere else.

This place has everything: fantastic authentic Italian food (definitely order the homemade pasta dishes), great service, and awesome atmosphere. The price is not too high for the quality and location, but certainly reserve this for special occasions when you're willing to dish 20-40+ per plate.

Ambiance is cool, we waited an hour for our 2 top so make a reservation/ I called and the hostess said we did t need any. Martinis are expensive. 2 set us back a whopping $70!!!! Once we sat food was hot fresh & delish & our waiters were great. Expensive Italian.

Very much more on the pricy end but a busy Italian joint right down the middle of the busy espanola way. Sat on the patio and enjoyed people watching while dining on pasta made from scratch. The servers push on uoselling but the quality of food and menu variety is great. The servers are very attentive but sort of grouchy. Good for a group of 6 or less.

Just spent my mother in laws birthday celebration at Hosteria Romana and wow this was amazing! Not only was the food delicious but the show and attention by our waiters Freddy and Dani was one of a kind! If you want a wow birthday and something totally different with amazing food come here! I will 100% be coming back!

Over priced. Poor service and the waiters dont work hard because gratuity of 20% already included. Got our orders wrong. Forgot out sodas and danced durin their musical performance instead of bringing us our change. 2 entres one appalitizer and one bottle of water $168. Then cause we paid cash they took their time bringing our change in order to keep it.

The three stars are mostly because the food was underwhelming, We ordered the risotto and the chicken, the risotto was a bit undercooked but the flavors were there, the chicken was just plain bad, they should take that dish out of the menu. The service was good but it could improve, the server assistant was really on top of his section. Saturday night is always a busy service, so we understood some aspects are always going to be out of control, but cleanliness in the bathrooms speaks volumes about how a restaurant should be maintained and it creates a picture in the guest's mind of how clean the rest of the house is, management should make sure the bathroom areas are immaculate. The vibe and ambiance were great, Española Way was happening and we got to people watch and have a good conversation. We will try it again during the winter.

If you're looking for place with tables stacked on top of each other, where the wine is hot and the food is cold, this is the place for you. This place is horribly run by amateur management who's idea of increasing sales is to stuff as many tables and chairs into every inch of floor space so that customers literally rub elbows and the waiters step on your toes as they pass by. It's no wonder why the place doesn't have a full liquor license because it's doubtful they could pass a fire code occupancy inspection. Speaking of drinks, we sampled 3 different red wines and I'm absolutely positive they poured from same bottle and presented each glass as a different selection. Giving it another go, I decide to try something so simple it would take a genius to screw it up, yet to my amazement the Rum and Coke tasted like flat diet cola. By the time we finally got our appetizer, a plate of cold calamari and shrimp, I had had enough. In my way out I made it point to inform the forked tongue just that he was a man of no integrity who was still in the process of lying to passers by in an attempt to lure them in to this low quality establishment with charm and a smile. What a disgrace to Espanola Way!
