The 20 Essential Hot Dogs in Los Angeles

"Santa Monica’s iconic, 75-year-old Hot Dog on a Stick stand reopened after being demolished in 2022. Though the building was completely rebuilt, the quality and recipes remain the same with the puckery neon limeade to the fluffy cornbread exterior surrounding its original turkey dog. Other options, like vegetarian hot dogs, beef hot dogs, and melty pepper jack cheese sticks, are available. Still, the OG turkey stick is the one to get for a taste of classic Californi-cana with an ocean and pier view." - Eater Staff

20 LA Tourist-Friendly Restaurants That Are Actually Good

"The first Hot Dog on a Stick has been a mainstay along the boardwalk in Santa Monica for a good reason: The corn dogs are excellent. There are wiener options —  from turkey to vegetarian and beef — that have a little something for everyone and are battered and fried to order. Pair that with lemonade and some funnel fries for a whole experience. More reason to visit? The iconic food stand that has been around for 76 years unveiled a new building in 2022." - Eater Staff

Google
For $12 you can get a box of fries, funnel cake fries, 2 corn dogs and a large lemonade! If you’re super hungry you can eat this on your own and be satisfied. Otherwise, share with a friend and enjoy the beautiful Santa Monica views. Can’t beat views like this! Located literally on the boardwalk, hard to miss. The employees were super friendly - they made our order fresh - including the fries! It takes about 7 minutes but it’s so worth it. Eating my box brought out my inner child. They have delicious tasting hotdogs with the perfect kind of corn meal - balanced half sweet half salty. Their fries are nice and crunchy. And yes their funnel cake fries were hard to stop eating!!

Google
$16.75 for one corndog and one small drink. Even the overpriced Tito's Tacos one town over doesn't dare to ripoff customers so badly. No other Hotdog on a Stick location charges this much because they would never survive in those neighrhoods. No one is stupid enough to pay such prices. But it seems the company believes that Santa Monica tourists are gullible. Folks, save your money and stay away! Don't be ripped off.

Google
I’ve loved this place ever since I was a kid! I was a little surprised at the prices these days though. I got two corndogs and two cheese sticks with a lemonade and it came to $40! But since it’s such a rare tree I decided to splurge.

We visited this location on 07/25/2024 at about 5:30pm. The girl at the register that took my order was EXTREMELY rude. I ordered one beef corn dog and that was it….30 minutes later I was standing at the pick up window still waiting for my order. There was not one single customer ahead of me or behind me. I saw the man inside pull my corn dog out of the fryer and it was completely burnt and they started laughing. He then put a new corn dog in and I had to wait even longer. Not one time did either of them apologize or even acknowledge me as they stood there playing on their phones for the 30 minutes I waited for my food. I went back up to the window after receiving my food to ask for a manager contact info but she literally stood there and absolutely refused to assist me or even open the window. I don’t understand why these people were so rude to me…I was extremely polite to them when placing my very simple order. I will be posting her picture here. Her name is Kassy aka Kassandra. I will be posting this on every media platform that I can and I will be contacting corporate with her name and photo. This is a DISGUSTING human-being.

Google
This place is legit, made a pit stop here on my extended ride from Culver City. Corn dog, funnel fries and lemonade - hit the spot. One of the best corn dogs I’ve had, funnel fries and lemonade also notable. Essentially on the beach and right off the pier. Awesome location- paid $20 for everything

Lina N

Google
Fancy location i expected better. They need to try Korean Corn dogs to learn how to make them. I got a cheetos burnt small overprived $8 wrapped sausage. I did like the lemonade thoug but the hot dog worth is a $1. Im not coming back. $15 for both. Cheeez good luck taking your kids for a hot dog ina stick just do them ar home. Not worth it.

Google
I wouldn't rush back. We ordered 1 fry and 1 funnel cake fry and paid $14+ all to find out that they stuff the bottom of the containers with a wad of wax paper so they can give you less. Go somewhere else.

Google
It's been a long time to have Hot Dog on a Stick. I liked the hot dog but the lemonade was not as good as I remembered. Overall, I'm glad that I came here.

Yelp
I read about the Original Hot Dog On A Stick and that it is located right at Santa Monica Beach. When my eldest daugther and I were at the Santa Monica Beach for a CHLA 5K walk fundraising event in May 2024, I knew we had to come here to have lunch and we did. It has been upgraded from a cart to a small building. Yay! Unfortunately, there are no tables and chairs for dining. We had to find concrete seating alongside walls to sit and eat at. We ordered 1 original dog, 1 turkey dog, some fries, some funnel cake sticks, and a couple lemonades. Hot dogs were delicious and of good size... btw, the turkey dog was fatter than the original dog... just an observation LOL. Fries were just okay... nothing spectacular. Funnel cake sticks were amazing and tasty... I would get this again! Lemonades were a little water down IMHO. Staff was pleasant. Speed of service took longer than expected, but they were very busy at the time. Ambiance was nice as it is right at the beach. Now guess how much all of the above goodies cost? You're reading right... $46 after tax... just for hot dogs, fries, funnel cake sticks, and lemonades. I guess when you're at an iconic place, you pay iconic place prices LOL. It's all good. We got to experience it and that's what matters most. Now will we be back again? Probably not for the hot dogs, but I would return for the funnel cake sticks for sure. Happy Eating!

Yelp
This is the promised corn dog on a stick with large amounts of lemonade. The best part about this location is it's become a traditional part of visiting the Santa Monica boardwalk. Our friends have been doing it for decades, and we join them today. There's no great critique here but also no great celebration. It is what it is.

Yelp
Every time I come into LAX I have to get my food fix, Hot Dog on a stick reminds of when I was a little girl, my mom would always bring me to the beach and take me to get a fresh lemonade and a corn dog. This is as good as I remember, the service was great. The ambiance is a quick bite at the beach.

Yelp
THE OG HDOS LOCATION!! No frills, just your classic plain corn dog. Always the beef corn dog. It's such a quintessential, LA staple from Santa Monica beach since the 1940s. HDOS holds a special place in our hearts since we had them cater our late night snack for our wedding! (Shout out to the Kardashians for keeping them alive and well at their catering parties hahahah; Kourtney tends to hire them more lol) They also have their food truck(s) serving around the greater LA. Love you HDOS. A staple in so many mall food courts from the past to the present. Appreciate you for holding on!!! (their Puente Hills food court location just closed recently....sadness!) And their cute uniforms, love 'em with the definitive primary colors red, yellow & blue! So classic!

Yelp
This is a great takeaway spot especially if you like hot dogs on a stick (corn dogs). We ordered two turkey corndogs which is apparently the original and they were surprisingly better than I expected. I prefer my dogs to be all beef so that's what I ordered. They are both delicious and would recommend ordering one of each to decide for yourself which one you like better. If you held me at gunpoint to decide which one I preferred I would have to say the turkey is a bit better than the beef dog on a stick. I asked the cashier which one was better the fries or the funnel cake sticks. She said both were good. She recommend the fries and I wish I ordered the churro sticks. It's not easy controlling your "sweet tooth". The wife will chastise me for ordering too many sweet things in front of our son especially since he had ice cream earlier in the day. I will say that everything is kind of expensive. We had three corndogs, fries and large lemonade and It came out to 38 something which is quite expensive when you think about it. It's like paying ballpark prices, but I guess it is what is considering the area you are in. I would definitely come back, but I will have to share a dog with my wife next time to save money. I wouldn't order the fries they are pretty salty and generic. We ordered the popular lemonade which I don't recall what it was, but it was very refreshing.

Yelp
The original Hot Dog on a Stick! Pretty cool that this location still exists, but other than that the food was not up to par. The corn dog was a bit cold in the center and had that soggy greasy sad deep fry. The fries were about the same. It is nice that it is literally next to Santa Monica Beach so you could enjoy your meal there. The service was fine and had no issues. I think they just need a morale boost and overall revamping of their frying process, but iconic spot.

Yelp
I love this place because it reminds me of my childhood! We don't have this in Phoenix anymore so it was first on my list when we got to LA. Corndogs and cheese on a stick were fresh and so good. It's definitely gotten a little more expensive over the years but it was worth it. We bundled and got fries and a large Pina-berry lemonade (seasonal flavor- very good), then sat and listened to some bad street performers while we enjoyed our food. The service was friendly, I think we waited 5-10 minutes for our food so not bad at all. Fun to be able to grab something delicious and sit near the beach!

Yelp
I really like a good old hot doggie and discovered this gem during my extended ride from Los Angeles. Treated myself to a delightful combo of a superb corn dog, delicious funnel fries, and refreshing lemonade - a perfect trifecta. The corn dog, in particular, stood out as one of the best I've ever had, so crispy outside. The atmosphere right by the beach and off the pier adds an extra layer of charm to this fantastic spot. The whole experience was great, and surprisingly, it only set me back $15. Definitely worth the stop!
google avatar

Pam M.

Yelp
I wanted a corn dog so I stopped by after being at the pier. There is no place to sit unless you want to sit on the beach. The restaurant is very clean inside which made me happy. My wait time was about 7 minutes and everything was hot and fresh. Perfect treat for a afternoon.
google avatar

Marlee B.

Yelp
Crunchy on the outside and gooey cheese on the inside. I wish hotdog on a stick didn't close so many locations bring them back.
google avatar

Kislev A.

Yelp
Went for a short walk aong the path to enjoy the sunset and let the kids work out on the gym right thre on the sand. They worked up an an appetite but it's still a drive home so I figured they could get a snack first. Got some Fresh Lemonade and Original Corn Dog and it almost $25 for two hotdogs, a lemonade and some tip. Really good corn dog and lemonade, but I'm not sure it's worth it...
google avatar

Wesley H.

Yelp
After we waited 5 minutes in line, a pric employee said he wasn't taking anymore orders. Usually, u say tell everyone after you we are not taking anymore orders!
google avatar

Diana W.

Yelp
Fresh Lemonade!!! Can't complain. Great location. Easy access for beach strollers. There really isn't much vendors around when strolling. For tourist, this is a great pass by for a drink to continue on your stroll. We did a stroll from Santa Monica Pier, beach walk to the stroll/bike lane to here, then back to downtown where we parked. Sadly, they didn't have sugar free lemon available this time. Prices seem like the same as if you get it from the original mall locations. I am bias and do really like hot dog on a stick -- any previous or current mall employees? It's the only healthy fresh drink in a mall haha
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
This is exactly what you expect - a solid corn dog! Great selection of lemonade options. The food was ready fast. And it's right on the boardwalk in Santa Monica so it's a great experience to get your food and eat on the beach with great people watching.

Yelp
Newly revamped Hot Dog on a stick! It's been open for over 76 years, servicing the beach community. Now the brand new building has a larger square footage and upgraded infrastructure. Located next to parking lot 1 south - short term parking, $1/hr 2h max. You peak in and order through the slider, pay and wait and wait and wait for your order. It takes quite a long time. Made to order fast food. Ketchup, mustard and napkins are located on the side of the hut. Pick up is at the side window, next to the condiments. They serve funnel fries, which you must try if you're in a sugary mood, to top off your sugary DELICIOUS lemonade. Stick items are $6.50 each. Beef corn dogs are soo good. The batter is key. Slight crunch and perfect taste with some mustard and ketchup. Lemonade are $6/$7/$8 for the three different sizes. They offer the beach bundle, which is 4 stick items and large fries for $31.99- no drinks included. The funnel cake sticks are $7. So grab a bundle and head to the beach or up the pier for some rides. No tables or seats offered. Just grab and go.
google avatar

Allison H.

Yelp
My corn dog was so undercooked that i bit into runny batter, the cheese stick was undercooked so the cheese didn't melt. The fries were over-salted. Staff remade the raw batter dog and it was good.
google avatar

Sung H.

Yelp
Their funnel cake sticks are AMAZINGGGGG. It was our second time having it and both times that's all we've ordered. We'll definitely try other items next time, it seemed like they were really popular. Unfortunately, today we were second to last to order for the day and there were literally about 8 sticks in our cup. They even put a ball of paper at the bottom of the cup to make it appear like there were more. Regardless, still delicious!!
google avatar

Anthony B.

Yelp
If I could give one star I would. Hire some competent workers, been waiting 15 minutes and they lost my order. Nothing but idiots working at this location now I have to wait another 15 minutes.
google avatar

Daniel P.

Yelp
Been going to this Hot Dog on a stick for years. The location is good by the Santa Monica pier. The food is good as well as the service. And as you already know the Ambiance is priceless.(on the beach)
google avatar

Michelle N.

Yelp
Came to beach to catch some vitamin D and indulge in good reads with the ocean waves crashing onto the shore. Hunger suddenly hit me so I decided on a corn dog for a quick snack. I ordered the pepper jack corn dog with the hope and expectation it was a meat corn dog with cheese added to it. How could I not if all corn dogs are $6? I didn't wait too long for my order to be done and off I go to as close to the water as I could. I was so surprised how itty bitty the corn dog was I knew I had to take a picture compared to a ketchup packet so others can understand my disappointment. I was even more saddened when it was just cheese inside. To top it off, it had no kick as I would expect from pepper jack cheese. I will say the batter was enjoyable but for $6 I will be looking to other vendors.

Megan S.

Yelp
I mean it's hot dog on a stick so yeah it's good but it's also double the price here. I've had better from them in the mall. For a family of four it was almost $60
google avatar

Jeanette T.

Yelp
Forgot to get pics of our food. Ordered beach pack with a strawberry mango lemonade. Loved that they had a veggie corndog option! Got 2 originals, 1 beef and 1 veggie with fries. All corn dogs were served nice and hot. There needed to be a little more batter on the dogs but over all it was as good as I remember. Corn dog in a stick closed down in our town over 5 yea ago. So this was a treat! Service was friendly, good corn dog, good fries.

Yelp
Absolutely love Hot Dog On A Stick for 30 years now. Food is great and those Funnel Cake Fries are to die for! Prices aren't the greatest, $88 to feed 2 adults and 3 small kids (6x$6.25 a dog, 3x$7.75 a lemonade, 3x$5.50(?) for fries = $87.xx)... but EVERYTHING is crazy expensive these days. Went yesterday and food was on par with my 30 years of experience, but the SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE which is not on par with my past experiences eating at the various Hot Dog On A Sticks. (Usually SUPER friendly staff.) I walked between the order windows for about two minutes with no acknowledgement watching as two (out of four working) were talking to each other towards the back. I finally knocked on the window and got "greeted" (not really) by Adolina (think I remembered that correctly). She had a very serious face on and wasn't pleasant at all. I tried to crack a joke to liven things up, didn't work. I gave her my order and asked her to repeat it. She demanded I give my name first. Seriously, two or three times I asked her to repeat the order and she wouldn't. Then Noahh (That's correct, I remember the two h's) came over and stood by her. I asked him to repeat the order to me and he wouldn't either also demanding I give my name. I was getting pretty perturbed. I threw out the classic "What if I said F it and walked away." THEY responded they didn't care. I was shocked and threw out some comment to the tune of their CEO or GM wouldn't be happy about that answer if they heard it. I also told them my customer service training and attitude is that "customers are paychecks." If you didn't have customers, you wouldn't have a job and thus not be getting a paycheck. You're supposed to be NICE TO CUSTOMERS. I gave in and played things by THEIR GAME and gave them my name. Not a big deal at all, but I wanted to make sure they had the order right before they hit whatever button it is to finalize the order. Then I asked again to have my order repeated to me. Noahh YELLED my order out. I'm not kidding. He YELLED it out loud enough that I'm sure people over 100 feet away down the beach could hear it. I understand having a bad day at work. I understand helping out or sticking up for coworkers (not necessarily when they're being jerks.) I don't understand YELLING at customers. The other two workers had already hidden themselves in the back room, not sure if there was a manager on duty (someone had to at least be the supervisor), I probably should have asked but if that person was there and responsible, they should have already stepped forward during this mess. Food took longer than I was told. I didn't notice any spit in it. It was expensively delicious. Happy to have eaten it. Sad about the service provided. Drooling now thinking of the Funnel Cake Fries.

Torie L.

Yelp
It's 5:50 pm on a Saturday and this place is closed. It says it closed at 6pm, so we drove here with over 10 minutes to spare and nope, they closed early. Not impressed.

Yelp
This is the original Hot Dog on a Stick! I was born in the 1970s back when we used to go to the mall, I remember getting a hotdog on a stick at the Westminster Mall in orange county, the Brea Mall, Palm Springs mall, Santa Ana Mall. I have even been to a drive-through hotdog on a stick in Las Vegas. I love this place!! The product is great!! Lemonade, turkey dog, beef dog, cheese dog and some of the locations even have french fries. This particular location is my absolute favorite because it's the original and it's literally on the beach. Now I will tell you that the homeless situation down here sucks and the fact that when you sit on the wall and eat your dog on a stick you will find hyper dermic needles if you look hard enough. My wife and I found some in the sand right out in front of this particular location. Maybe this actually makes the hotdog on a stick better but either way I can't wait to come back here and get some more yummy stuff!! If you are from out of town or even if you're local and you've not been here this is an absolute must because the truth is I heard a rumor that they're going to terret down and build a new one, that's like not being able to say you eat In-N-Out Burger at the original In-N-Out Burger location like I did when I was a kid. Absolutely 1000% five stars all the way!!

JoLinda M.

Yelp
If I could rate this lower than a 1 I would The kids that they have working here are extremely rude and very disrespectful. Today I stood in line behind some kids. When they were finally done a homeless guy walked right up to the window and placed his order I'm telling her" this guy cut me in line" she looked at me as if I had dog poop on my face, never acknowledging that she made a mistake, when I ordered she didn't get my order correct, I asked to speak to the manager and immediately she told a lie and said the manager wasn't available . I ask for a cherry lemonade she bought me a regular lemonade I was so irritated I threw the lemonade. Then the manager popped up that mad me more upset because I was just told that the manager wasn't there. This whole experience was horrible I'll never return unless they get an entire new staff. I'm definitely contacting their corporate office.
google avatar

Hannah H.

Yelp
About a 1-1.5: Man, I really wanted to love Hot Dog on a Stick, as I loved their cute colorful logo AND I love corn dog-esque snacks! I ordered the Hot Dog on a Stick (you can choose from original turkey, veggie, or Nathan's; I opted for Nathan's), Cherry lemonade (available in original, lime, lite, and other seasonal flavors), and french fries. The food was just not great. The Hot Dog on a Stick was not good - I felt as if the batter was just way too dough-y and bread-y, and maybe the oil had to change. The Cherry lemonade was just watery and not refreshing at all; it tasted way too artificial, even though the place boasts of it being hand-stomped and made fresh daily. The fries were forgettable, whereas the menu describes them as being crispy and well-seasoned. The staff here could have been more friendly, but maybe frying up dogs on a stick was just not their jam. Parking is definitely difficult in the area, as it's located off of the Ocean Front Walk. No dice! +bread-y batter +watered down lemonades +forgettable fries +not-so-friendly staff +located off of Ocean Front Walk +difficult parking in the area
google avatar

shea j.

Yelp
The kids that are working in their are so disrespectful and act like they don't want to work. My server is Olivia S on December 11.2023. She needs a coaching opportunity on customer service. If you don't know how to void some thing or give a person the refund, maybe you need to be retrained. Telling me to come back on Monday is not acceptable and laughing with your colleagues with no empathy or sympathy. Hella rude because I said the lemonade was waterd down and I didn't even have any ice in it & my hot dog was only warm. Gee thanks and I paid 15.04 for it ‍
google avatar

Brett P.

Yelp
for some reason all the Hot Dog on a Sticks are disappearing from Los Angeles I'm sure there's no conspiracy reason behind this... at least I hope there isn't! At any rate if you're going to try Hot Dog on a Stick the original location in Venice is your best bet. The menu is simple, things on a stick, which is fine but really for me the reason for their existence is quite possibly the best lemonade on the planet... NO in the universe... okay maybe that is an over exaggeration but like the simple food menu the lemonade is exactly what it should be lemons water and sugar that's it.
google avatar

Ronald S.

Yelp
I have to do it again tomorrow morning at eight a day and then I'll be home at nine thirty and I have a meeting in a little while and then I'm just going home to get the
google avatar

Sherna N.

Yelp
They have veggie hotdogs and I do tell you about the better have eggs in it if that's OK with you but it was really good
google avatar

Everyday C.

Yelp
Bad. Bad. Bad. Super bad. Hot dog is hot dog, no one expects is to be a filet minion. But the service, wait time is not acceptable. Waiting for over 20 minutes and getting a wrong order...
google avatar

Gabe A.

Yelp
I normally eat healthy, but the original one is a tempting stop on my beach bike ride. Stopped by today, there's a fence around it. Hope it's not closing!
google avatar

Violy M.

Yelp
You can't have a day at the beach & not make a pit stop for a hotdog on a stick! This shack has been churning them out since 1948. Yeah, I get it. Sometimes they take long & it can get pricey if you're the wallet to your crew of 2 or more. If that's the case, take a day for yourself, enjoy the beach & treat yo self to hot dog on a stick. Deep fried goodness in one hand & an ice cold lemonade in the other. There's nothing in this world like a Southern California life! Your homegirl, Violy
google avatar

R T.

Yelp
This is the original hotdog on a stick from the Huel Howser show! They make a mean corn dog and the lemonades supposed to be great but I never tried it! If you look into the history of this place you start to think that maybe the guy that started it was a pimp and the girls that made lemonade were hoes. But that's not the case anymore.
google avatar

Matt P.

Yelp
Ordered the large lemonade and it was perfect. It was the perfect amount of sweetness. Make sure you order the large because you can get a refill for $2.
google avatar

Drew G.

Yelp
Fun fact: this is the very first location of Hot Dog on a Stick, which has been serving corn dogs and lemonade out of this stand since 1946. We all likely associate this chain with cheap mall food courts, but it is here - at Muscle Beach - where it all began. I was recently in Santa Monica and came here for lunch. The menu is basic and essentially consists of 4 things: corn dogs, cheese on a stick (for the non meat eaters), fries, and lemonade. You order at a counter and then go sit somewhere nearby to eat. There's absolutely nothing fancy about it, and that's a good thing. Everything is made to order, and is super fresh and piping hot. It's also a little on the pricey side considering it's fast food - 2 corn dogs, 1 order of fries, and a regular lemonade cane to a little over 20 dollars. But it was delicious, and nostalgic. The service was surprisingly decent, too.
google avatar

Shanna R.

Yelp
Just how you remember as a kid...but for that same reason it's probably not worth waiting in line. Try one of everything, especially the flavored lemonade on a hot day. Lots of tourists so the line is slow as people take (a lot) of time with the limited menu. Strawberry lemonade with original hot dog on a stick...hard to regret that choice if you're stuck.
google avatar

Anne M.

Yelp
Well, how do you rate a hot dog on a stick? It's not gourmet fare by any means bit we were on the Santa Monica beach and hungry. Made to order fresh fried corn dogs. The deal was 4 dogs, a small bucket of fries for $25. Then 8 for a large lemonade which was fresh squeezed so ok I get the price. Fun lunch grab on the beach.
google avatar

Yelp
BE CAREFUL AT THIS PLACE!! Bought a cheese on a stick and when the service person handed it to me, the extremely hot grease had already soaked through the bottom of the paper serving tray and when it was handed to me it burned the heck out of my finger... enough to make me yell. What the heck??? Service person was apathetic and did not even react one bit... thanks for handing me a searing hot grease soaked paper tray that burned the heck out of my hand!!!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
First off how can you not love hot dog on a stick?! Hands down the best damn turkey corn dog ever! Carnival and fair dogs are greasy and cannot compare! I was so stoked we found this place! The last time we were in Santa Monica we went to the pier and didn't realize this is located just off to the left (facing the pier) of it past Starbucks (which I had no idea was there either). I loved these dogs since I was a kid and they are few and far now. We ordered the beach comber deal 4 items & fry for $25. Great deal since items are $6 each. We got 4 turkey dogs and the fry was a huge cup! I was pleasantly surprised at the generous portion! We also had to get a large cherry lemonade. It's. The. Best!!! Fresh squeezed, and made to order corn dogs and fries. They were just as tasty as I remembered. My son loves them so much he wanted them for dinner! A corn dog that doesn't taste greasy or wreak of oil is a gem! Soooo good!!! The cashier was so nice and sweet too. Give them some love, you won't regret it!!! Historic landmark!!!

Yelp
Does this place close at 7 or 7:30? The place is already closed before 7. Check the photo I uploaded to this yelp. Audrey the employee that was at the register was not so nice. She had a very upset attitude like she wanted to be off already. She was rude and had an unfriendly vibe while just staring at me without responding much. She didn't even ask what type of fries I wanted with my order. The funnel cake fries portion was so small I thought it was a sample. It was literally 8 pieces of fries I'm not even joking. That's a ridiculous portion for a $12 combo. She was a very unfriendly person. I almost wanted my money back but I wanted the hot dogs. Them closing 30 min early is an example that they don't want to work. She shouldn't be working if she can't do proper customer service. We're not very happy with Audrey. She needs a change of attitude.

Yelp
Tiny, easy to over-look brown stand that definitely looks like it could be (and is!) the ORIGINAL hot dog on a stick! It's small so few employees and thus a bit long of a wait for food but it's a great area to people watch, located between the pier and muscle park. Great casual food to munch on while checking out the surfers on the beach - wouldn't go out of my way to eat here because it tastes like any other hot dog on a stick but a great casual, inexpensive, and kid-friendly option

Yelp
Came by twice on Friday at 645pm and Saturday at 2pm. Closed both time. Not worth trying again. Update your website to say you are closed all the time.

Yelp
Everything about this place is bomb! I got the all beef corndog which was so good. My fiancé got the turkey and really liked it. The fries are the same thickness as McDonald's but taste 1000x better. The lemonade is perfect. This spot is ideal for a mid afternoon snack if you haven't had lunch but aren't ready for dinner. The line was long but the service was quick and accurate which I really appreciate!

Yelp
How do you order 25 corn dogs and gallon of lemonade? Tried ordering for my ICU units monitor techs going away party and was told no by the driver who was picking it up?? I'm sorry but the very least call me and say it can't be done before 2 hrs go by and the driver is the one calling me saying that he could call me and tell me the won't make it. After talking to him and having no food for the party I tried calling to see if there's something I could do to get the order. However the phone number doesn't work. ‍ I loved this place since I was a kid but really disappointed with this place.

Yelp
This is the original hot dog on a stick location. It's a big overpriced but it's worth the novelty of it suits your fancy.

Yelp
Top notch food and lemonade! Not so busy at lunch time during the week thankfully. Found a nice bench nearby to enjoy my turkey dog and American cheese on a stick. This is a staple of the pier area and it's still as good as I remember. The girl making the food was really nice as well. Been coming here for my whole life and this is like the last one of these that I know about, so I'll be coming back for sure. Love those corn dogs. Although I think Disneyland may beat them overall now. :(
