Tiny outpost for Korean-American comfort food, waffle sandwiches & over 300 hot sauce varieties.
"Hot Sauce and Panko runs a tight to-go chicken wing operation and we’re eternally grateful for it. The wings are incredible, hard stop. An order comes with five pieces for $7.89 (the $12.59 special includes a sweet Belgian waffle). There are a ton of flavors to choose from, but our favorites are the salt and pepper, “Green” with cilantro, and the Korean-style wings slathered in gochujang. Heads up, sauces are 75 cents extra." - julia chen 1, patrick wong, lani conway
"This popular Russian Hill wing-slinger is a takeout- and delivery-only model, with a retail shop selling hot sauce. These are some of the most succulent, flavorful wings in town, available in a range of internationally-inspired sweet, savory, or spicy varieties — most priced around $8 for an order of five." - Dianne de Guzman, Paolo Bicchieri
"Hot Sauce and Panko supplies the deep-fried bird for Russian Hill, offering a plethora of spicy and savory wings for takeout. Try the wings and waffle combo for the full experience or any of the Double Hot options for a punch of heat." - Dianne de Guzman, Paolo Bicchieri, Eater Staff

"Wings are the main attraction at this Nob Hill spot. One order of them comes with five pieces for $7.89 (the $12.59 special includes a sweet Belgian waffle). They also have a ton of flavors to choose from, but some of our favorites include salt and pepper; the “green” with cilantro, jalapeño, and ginger; and Korean-style wings slathered in gochujang. This place, which looks like a convenience store with its wire racks and floor-to-ceiling shelves filled with every kind of hot sauce imaginable, also does serious takeout business. But there are two small standing tables inside, so if you just need something quick, you can eat here, too." - will kamensky, julia chen 1, ricky rodriguez
