Hotel 28 Myeongdong

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel 28 Myeongdong! A special shout-out to Sugar, Nicole and Sally for their attentiveness and genuine care throughout my stay. Especially Sugar, who took such great care of my requests as I was travelling with my mom and young daughter her thoughtfulness and support truly made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. The entire team at the hotel was consistently friendly, warm, and helpful. The hotel itself is clean, luxurious, and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful details that elevate the experience. The location is absolutely unbeatable right in the heart of Myeongdong, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again!

What an amazing stay we had! We stayed for 9 nights. Right in the centre of Myeongdong the location is totally unbeatable. The nearest subway is approx a 5 minute walk away (Euljiro 1) meaning exploring is really easy! The service was perfection - the staff are all so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, with a traditional Korean breakfast offered as well as a more Western style. I recommend the beef bulgogi breakfast option. The design of the hotel is also stunning, with lots of rooms full of history and details about the founder of the hotel. Our room was spotless and had amazing amenities, including a mini fridge that was complimentary and restocked every day. We were on the Main Street in a Deluxe Twin, however the windows have great noise cancelling, and after about midnight it is a lot quieter! I really couldn’t fault anything about our room, the use of space is genius - we also requested some extra hangars and the reception staff were happy to give them to us. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely return.

Loving the location. Accessible to shopping and the main street of Myeongdong. Right in the centre of everything, so you can go shopping, come back, eat, nap and shop again. Staff are friendly and helpful and the room was spacious. Close to the airport bus stop too. Really enjoying our stay here. Free use of mini bar as well for duration of the stay. Love it.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times, and it continues to impress me every time. The location is excellent and the service is truly great. Before my arrival, the staff even sent me a message asking what time I would arrive. I told them around 10 AM, and when I got there, they arranged an early check-in right away. I was also welcomed with a lovely “Welcome Back” message on the mirror, which made me feel very special. I’m really impressed with the thoughtful service, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Huge thanks to the hotel team for helping us with a stuck parcel even though we weren’t in the country. They replied quickly and kept us updated every step of the way, which we really appreciated. The hotel itself was lovely, clean and comfortable, gym was more than sufficient, and the location is amazing and super convenient. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The hotel is right in the heart of Myeong-dong, super close to lots of shops and restaurants. The staff are really friendly. We booked two rooms for our family of five, and the corner room with a sofa bed was very spacious for three people. Everything in the minibar is free and they refill it every day, which was a nice bonus. If you enjoy beer and shaojiu, that’s definitely a plus!||We chose a package that included breakfast. You can pick from a Korean or Western set, plus there’s a small buffet-style salad bar. The food options felt a bit repetitive after three days, but overall we were very happy with our stay. ||We also had an incident where one of our shopping bags went missing. The hotel really did their best to help us locate it. Even though it was our fault for leaving it in the taxi, we were very grateful for all the effort the staff went through to help us.||As of noise from other reviews, we felt our room is very quiet, didn’t hear any street noise.

I really had a great experience at hotel28. I had a lot of luggage and needed to catch the airport bus, and Patrick kindly accompanied me all the way to the bus stop and helped me carry my bags. I was deeply touched by his thoughtful and genuine kindness.|The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I felt could be improved was that some parts of the room seemed a bit dated and could use some refurbishment. However, the warm hospitality and professionalism of the staff completely made up for that minor shortcoming.|I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Patrick, Jinny, Nicole and Aloy for their exceptional service and kindness. Thanks to all of you, I was able to end my trip on such a happy note

This is a well kept hotel in a central location. However, the very fact that it is in the middle of Myeongdong means that is it chaotic outside the door at almost all hours, and it is on fried chicken street so you room will always have the faint odor of frying chicken. While we understand the movie theme, is it necessary to make every part of the hotel pitch black? The hallways require lights on at all times as they are draped in blackout curtains. The staff could not be friendlier and more helpful and we thank them for that. The rooms are comfortable and well cared for, but not plush. There is on site laundry which was a godsend for us.
