Hotel 28 Myeongdong

What an amazing stay we had! We stayed for 9 nights. Right in the centre of Myeongdong the location is totally unbeatable. The nearest subway is approx a 5 minute walk away (Euljiro 1) meaning exploring is really easy! The service was perfection - the staff are all so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, with a traditional Korean breakfast offered as well as a more Western style. I recommend the beef bulgogi breakfast option. The design of the hotel is also stunning, with lots of rooms full of history and details about the founder of the hotel. Our room was spotless and had amazing amenities, including a mini fridge that was complimentary and restocked every day. We were on the Main Street in a Deluxe Twin, however the windows have great noise cancelling, and after about midnight it is a lot quieter! I really couldn’t fault anything about our room, the use of space is genius - we also requested some extra hangars and the reception staff were happy to give them to us. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely return.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel 28 Myeongdong! A special shout-out to Sugar, Nicole and Sally for their attentiveness and genuine care throughout my stay. Especially Sugar, who took such great care of my requests as I was travelling with my mom and young daughter her thoughtfulness and support truly made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. The entire team at the hotel was consistently friendly, warm, and helpful. The hotel itself is clean, luxurious, and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful details that elevate the experience. The location is absolutely unbeatable right in the heart of Myeongdong, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again!

Great location and amazing staff. The hotel is surrounded by great food spots and things to see, and getting around the city was very easy. The room was comfortable, the complimentary minibar was a nice touch, and the staff were always friendly and quick to help. I also really appreciated the late check out, as my train to Busan was later in the day|Overall, it was a smooth and comfortable stay from start to finish 😊

Honestly, don't even consider another hotel! I stayed at 3 during my trip including 5 star luxury hotel in myeongdong and Hotel28 was by far better! The staff is SOO kind and helpful! They speak English very well, so it is easy to communicate. They are connected to a delicious bakery and are located in the heart of myeongdong- everything is walking distance! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious and they even have these amazing Dyson hairdryers- bonus points! This is not a paid review. I stayed here last week and then my flight got canceled and I immediately booked another night at hotel28. Highly recommend!

Great stay during our recent visit to Seoul. The location was great - 8min walk from airport limousine stop. And in the middle of myeongdong area. Lots of restaurants and shopping. The staff was extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful. They even drew a kind welcome note on our mirror and provided a small cake. The hotel overall was beautiful and had cute movie themed displays. also the hotel offers hand warmers (life saver) and umbrellas. We would stay again!

Location is good. Surrounded by many different Kfood restaurants, and you will see high concentration of K style deep fried chicken diners in front of the hotel. Hotel staff were all kind and sophisticated in manner. They kindly heated up my packed meal in their private area when I asked about microwave. Another good point is that we had a Dyson hair dryer and Molton Brown amenities. I could say taking choice at Hotel 28 brings you a better time-saving trip than staying Conrad in Yoido if you have a Hilton royalty.

Loving the location. Accessible to shopping and the main street of Myeongdong. Right in the centre of everything, so you can go shopping, come back, eat, nap and shop again. Staff are friendly and helpful and the room was spacious. Close to the airport bus stop too. Really enjoying our stay here. Free use of mini bar as well for duration of the stay. Love it.

This hotel was the absolute best choice for my solo trip to Seoul. The staff was fantastic- couldn’t have been more helpful or caring. I was a bit nervous to go Solo on this trip as I’m a woman and a bit older but everyone made me feel so cared for. They honestly went out of their way to provide directions and suggested places to sightsee, eat and shop. The room was fantastic - big bathtub, shower and tv. Also very quiet even though it is right in the middle of the action. A big thank you to Aloy, Lucas, Nancy and MrLee who were all so gracious and kind. The front desk staff even helped me order dinner in one night! Could not have been a better place to stay. Many many thanks.
