Hotel Cacciani

Situated very near Frascati train station and about 20-30 minutes from Roma termini by train. The room are dated but clean. Mine had a balcony from which I could even see the sea. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is ok but limited variety

Slightly run down hotel located in convenient Frascati city centre few steps away from town square and opposite railway station. Reception is not where the main entrance is you have to go to next door restaurant ! Rooms are quite spacious with a desk and a wardrobe, small balcony with nice views, but bathroom is just claustrophobic with run down shower leaking water. Beds mattress feels like sleeping on the Roman marble stone. When you wake up you feel like after night of torture. Wifi is decent and free. Walls are very thin so you hear everything your next door neighbour say and snore. Staff barely speaks English but is friendly. Breakfast is included but don’t expect too much.

Booked multiple rooms with friends as we were attending a wedding nearby. We just needed a place to sleep and for that it was great, to us it was perfect that check in starts at 12.00. I do think that the price quality ratio is a little on the high side as its not even in central rome. The breakfast did not have a very large selection, mainly pastries and other sweet choices.

L'hotel Cacciani è un tipo di albergo che ha una certa storia e lo si può notare all'interno della struttura che presenta pezzi di antiquariato nel mobilio, e foto che ritraggono i fondatori dell'albergo stesso. Da ciò che ho appreso dalla titolare è che ha più di 100 anni di vita. Questo è un aspetto che mi ha davvero affascinato! L'hotel è situato nel centro di Frascati in via Armando Diaz, in una laterale della piazza principale e lo so può raggiungere facilmente. Presenta tre piani, e al terzo si trovava la stanza in cui ho soggiornato, anzi ad essere precisi erano due stanze insieme comunicanti: stanza 31 e 32. Fin da subito son rimasta colpita dalla camera, che sembra un mini appartamentino: una matrimoniale e una singola + il bagno con una splendida vista del paesaggio. Era tutto pulitissimo e in ordine, avevo qualsiasi comfort desiderassi: dalla camera singola autonoma alla TV, all'aria condizionata e alla mia scrivania "privata". All'interno dell'hotel è presente un'eccellente ristorante dove si possono mangiare pietanze fresche e genuine. Voto: 10
