"CONDESAdf Mexican hotelier Grupo Habita turned the shell of a 1928 French neoclassical mansion into a wholly contemporary property, CONDESAdf, which immediately became the standard for boutique hotels in Mexico City when it opened to rave reviews in 2005. Ten years on, it has plenty of competition, but remains a favorite among travelers who appreciate clean, contemporary design and location, location, location. Named for its neighborhood, the hotel occupies a prime spot on the edge of Parque España in trendy Condesa. The terrace bar offers an elevated view of the city—which spreads out like a crazy quilt below—and is especially lovely at sunset, when the fading light paints the surrounding mountains a gentle gold. After a craft cocktail or dinner at the hotel’s patio-level restaurant, guests can retire to rooms kitted out with flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, and Malin+Goetz bath amenities."

"In the last 20 years, the Condesa neighborhood has had a major revamp, where independent businesses and young professionals have taken up residence in beautiful old Neoclassical and Art Deco buildings from the last century, and the India Mahdavi-designed CondesaDF is pretty much the neighborhood's crown jewel. The rooms are known to be minimal—bordering on sparse—making the real highlight outside the bedroom doors. There's a rooftop bar serving up some of the city's best sushi, not to mention stunning views of Chapultepec park, and the downstairs open-air dining room is great for a quick bite or drink. There's also a tiny Hammam spa for a dose of relaxation after a long day exploring the nearby independent shops, cafes, restaurants, and galleries."

Hotel Condesa DF Rooftop Bar - Review - La Condesa - Mexico City - The Infatuation

"Condesa DF is one of our favorite hotels in CDMX and their rooftop bar and patio is a major reason why. This sprawling patio is a fantastic place to post up when the midday heat hits and all you really want to do is sit on a comfy chair and drink tequila cocktails for a few hours. Its fourth-floor vantage point provides fantastic views of the tree-lined streets of Condesa and, on a clear day, the volcanoes off in the distance. If you get hungry, they have a sushi menu that’s perfect for snacking." - Brant Cox

We did not have the pleasure of staying at the hotel, however, we frequented the roof top lounge for its beautiful location across the street from a park. Sitting in the open lounge overlooking the park is like being in a tree house. It's the perfect spot of sunset cocktails. The service is excellent. Giovanny, our waiter, took great care of us and kindly accommodated our request to take photos of us. While in CDMX, I highly recommend the roof top lounge. And if you're lucky, Giovanny will be there.

We had an incredible experience at this rooftop restaurant, and a huge part of that was thanks to our fantastic waiter Giovanni Valdez. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and made sure every detail was perfect throughout the evening. His timing was impeccable—always there when we needed something, but never overbearing. It really felt like he went above and beyond to make our night special. Service like this is rare and truly deserves to be recognized. Highly recommend both the restaurant and asking for this amazing waiter if you can!

Google
Such a bummer. My friend who was visiting me in CDMX wanted to have a drink here as it is one of her friend's favorite spots. Had a lovely time, a refreshing cocktail and really great service. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my wallet on the table when leaving - called the hotel and got an Uber back as soon as I realized... but it was gone. I would have had zero expectations if I had been at a regular bar or big hotel - but at a quiet, boutique hotel bar/restaurant on a Tuesday with about 8 patrons and 4 staff... I really, really hoped for a different outcome. Like I said, bummer.

Google
Aesthetically beautiful hotel but comfort and functionality are terrible. Beds are incredibly uncomfortable. Not enough lights in the room so very dark at night. Bathroom is beautiful but design is terrible. Toilet is right in front of floor to ceiling window so entire street can see you. Sliding door on it can be closed but then bathroom is very dark and all your towels are right against toilet. Shower pressure is great but there is no way to take a shower without getting your entire head soaking wet. Design of hotel is cool so recommend grabbing a drink on the rooftop terrace but don’t bother staying here if you value your comfort

Google
This is a cool property with a great design. The courtyard and rooftop deck are outstanding. The room and overall value were both meh. I think for the price point the beds and bedding should be higher quality...the mattress was hard. I also like to be able to open the window for fresh air and my room had a lovely window that was not able to open. That would not be an issue if you book a more expensive balcony room, The included breakfast buffet was delicious, but coffee was not great. I think that if I had not been paying as much as the rooms cost, then I would overlook those issues, but the value for this property was not worth it, imo. I would absolutely go for breakfast and a sunset drink though!

Google
Two stars because the location is good. Otherwise, I would never recommend this hotel, especially for the price. Pros: location, location, location Cons: The rooms are tiny, the bed is hands down the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, bathroom is so narrow and small you can’t even comfortably sit on the toilet. The service is SO BAD- check in desk lacks serious customer service. At check in, they offer you a hot (yes, hot) shot of tequila! It’s also very noisy at night and you will wake to the ripe smell of stagnant toilet water. Biggest con: our room was on the third floor below the rooftop. On the second day of our stay, it was slightly windy, and two GLASS CUPS came flying down onto our patio and shattered. There was glass everywhere along with paper napkins and chopsticks. No one acknowledged this or apologized. The shards of glass all over our patio and the furniture made it impossible for us to enjoy the outdoor space for the rest of our stay. We are also really lucky we weren’t sitting out there when the glasses fell. Just be aware if you find yourself in a room under the rooftop.

Spent a week at the CondesaDF. It was our first visit to Mexico City, and we chose the perfect hotel. It was centrally located to all the major attractions, yet set in a quiet neighborhood, that was safe to walk around at night, and next to a park. We rented bicycles that were very close to the hotel, and used the many bike paths to go to the city center. We had a great room with a big balcony. Loved the breakfast spread every morning, set in an inner courtyard, surrounded by tropical plants. Good rooftop Sushi restaurant. Being a 'Design Hotel' there was that extra mile of good taste, oozing with tasteful design and architecture. Highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely be returning

Google
Stayed here previously. However, this time, we were a group of 11 rooms. The staff exceeded expectations for all of us. Oliver, Alexis, and Brittany were more than helpful in securing reservations throughout the city. The rooftop offers a fantastic respite in the afternoon. The courtyard, where breakfast is served every morning, is delightful. The location is great and convenient, though on a very quiet corner of Park Espana. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Yelp
We stayed at the center of the hotel.. asthetic 10/10 blow away! Service 10/10 We had some mimosas back to back they were ehh 6/10 Food we had quavo rancheros eh 6/10 Overall would be back for the vibes in lust with this place!

Yelp
Drinks were a bit expensive and not exceptional. Come here for the rooftop and to enjoy being outside. Unfortunately on the night we went it rained and there were a lot of bugs out, so plan accordingly. We did get some views of some dark and storm skies. Also, there is an interesting fountain that looks like it should be a hot tub but probably isn't by the bathroom.

Yelp
I don't drink alcoholic beverages and here I got the best mocktail I've had in quite a while. They definitely went above on beyond, thank you!! The ambiance is wonderful if you're looking for a relaxing, low key, calm setting with a view. Great bar lounge!

Yelp
Never have I had a more disconcerting hotel stay. It began with a locked/broken safe discovered upon check-in. It took multiple staff to unlock the safe and when they finally fixed it, they didn't check inside. We discovered someone else's passport inside, which we promptly returned to the front desk and they were completely unfazed. The room was rundown- cracked tub, broken floorboards, towels that smelled of cigarettes, tattered sheets, etc. I could go on, but I will now focus on the complete lack of security at this property. A housekeeper entered our room without a knock yesterday and another guest was issued a key and entered our room this afternoon. Mistakes happen, but this is too much. The front desk acts as if these security issues aren't a problem. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Yelp
We were the victims of Covid confusion here, but still had a nice time. Our goal was the roof, but they kept changing the OPEN time. The mezcal menu was good and the bites on hand were nicely presented and fresh. The staff was nice, but needed a bit of attention grabbing. Once on hand they were quick and good I wish we could have made it to the roof, but we will keep it on our list for CDMX.

Andy E.

Yelp
Miserable hotel. Overpriced. Noisy. Elevators broken. Electricity went out. Unfriendly staff. Laughably tiny rooms. Don't go

Yelp
Cute hotel in an amazing part of Mexico City. We had a nice time at this property but the service was just mediocre and the rooms were quite small (even for a "balcony room"). The Bed was hard as a rock and they don't have any drawers or dresser to put clothes. Given the costs I would have expected so much more to be frank. I should have known it wouldn't be what I was expecting upon our arrival when the bellman just stared at us as we pulled up in our suburban from the airport. It wasn't until after taking all our bags out from the trunk that he sprung into action and asked if we were staying with them? He didn't even offer to help with the bags. After getting to the front desk he did pour us a shot of tequila though (which was a welcome arrival gesture). Would definitely not stay here again. Probably should not be a part of Bonvoy...
google avatar

Tony Y.

Yelp
This is your typical overpriced rooftop hotel bar. That said, you don't really have that many options in Mexico City. The food looked mediocre so we didn't order anything to eat. I ordered two cocktails, the horchata martini and then a mezcal margarita. They were both very tasty but didn't taste nor feel any alcohol. Come for a drink. It's a nice view but don't stay for more.

Charlie W.

Yelp
Overall a very bad experience and overpriced. The rooftop is great... the rooms and stay are not. You sleep on a literal box spring with no mattress pad. The patio is not a patio, it's just a window that opens... very small rooms... not great service... That said it is pretty and trendy and in a good area. Just don't expect to sleep well or get great service.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I were staying in Condesa and stopped in here to enjoy my first drink in CDMX at Condesa DF's rooftop bar. Frankly, I feel the place is a little over hyped and wasn't exactly my style. It was a bit quiet on the evening we stopped in (which happened to be Mother's Day in Mexico City, so perhaps a bunch of folks aren't out barhopping on Mother's Day). The views were just ok, in my opinion and as my first margie after touchdown I'd be lying to not say it was a bit weak and underwhelming and this coming from someone who rarely drinks (especially cocktails). My friend didn't enjoy her cocktail of choice either. Service is quite slow and they got my order wrong the first go round. Also a little tip from my Espanol speaking amiga Jamaica is not pronounced like the tropical destination Jamaica, rather Ha-maica ;) good thing I didn't order the Jamaica margarita. I usually really like unsweetened Hibiscus beverages but this cocktail wasn't impressive. If you are a 30 something looking for a livelier vibe I'd recommend the 2nd floor at Mercado Roma, which I seemed to enjoy a lot more. The first floor patio level did look very pretty, which is where I snapped the shot of the dessert bar set up which may or may not have been for Mother's Day but it looked gorgeous.

Yelp
This is known as the first boutique hotel in Ciudad de México.. It was designed by JSArquitectura, who only preserved the facade of a 1928 Art Deco building, to built inside a mostly white architecture around a triangular courtyard. Taking advantage of Ciudad de Mexico's weather, the courtyard becomes the heart of the life in the hotel. It is incredibly nice to have breakfast there. The rooms are small but nice. With beautiful bathrooms, behind the bed, and balconies opening to the sweet Condesa area, of which Bolaño wrote beautifully in los Detectives Salvajes. Overall, is a great place to stay. It gives a feeling of what contemporary Mexican urban refinement is about. Both cool and international; unapologetically capitalist and disengaged.

Yelp
I absolutely adore the rooftop at Condesa DF! The ambiance is upbeat yet relaxing! I'd recommend this spot for a casual first date, or drinks with friends! It has a very private and classy feel and would be excellent for a private event! This is definitely going on my list of go to places in CDMX!

Yelp
I love that this is a true rooftop bar with light bites and great drinks. It's perfect for the neighborhood that's full of dog loving parents, parks and is settled away from the heavy traffic streets in the city. Definitely recommend making reservations and only for small parties of 4-5max. Anything else you'll be squished or in the aisle. The service was great and I especially enjoyed the attentive staff. This place is definitely all about the view and the drinks. I wasn't crazy about the food - chicken kabas, tuna tar tar, and wraps but it did the trick before we left for our next adventure in the city.

Yelp
This hotel is a joke so overpriced, style over substance. Rooms are very small, bathroom so weird. Breakfast is included but need to clear to them which items are not included or else they will charge you for it. So disappoint value for money Perfect location though.

Ryan Z.

Yelp
Bathroom in my room was not 100% cleaned when i checked in. I found out later that evening my AC wasn't working. The hotel had terrible solutions and would not help resolve it. Marie at the front desk is extremely rude and should not be working there. For the price you pay you can stay at many better hotels in mexico city. I suggest for 100 dollars more you go to the st.Regis, you will have a completely different experience.

Yelp
I am really trying to understand how they got good rating here and also why would this restaurant be on the list of one of the best rooftops in Mexico City. I was quite disappointed. Here is the breakdown: Food- half star The food overall was average to say the least. We ordered the shrimp tempura which was good together with the bowl we ordered. The rest was average or bad. The cocktails we ordered were not good at all. Ambiance- one star Nice decor and ambiance with comfortable seating and very minimalistic but classy. Can't complain about it. But if you are going because you want to have a rooftop view of the city, don't bother, you will be disappointed Service- no star If you go, wait, and keep waiting. Once you kept waiting, wait again. Extremely slow is an understatement. We literally waited over an hour just to get our food after being rushed to place the order because "the kitchen is about to close." To ordered anything took forever. Wow factor- none Overall- half star I will give a half star for overall experience just because of the place and the ambiance potential but that's it.

Yelp
Good drinks and gorgeous rooftop to relax, use WiFi, or just tune out during the day and chill. Yes it's a bit pricey but it it's still 1/3 of any Miami hotel rooftop bar of the same standard, so not by American standards. Also, there aren't many like this as other rooftops tend to be on top of markets and more of a loud, boisterous, annoying party scene. This one is very relaxing with great service, drinks and pretty good food too. Enjoy!

Yelp
Came here for the rooftop bar. If you're not staying here, the host downstairs will try to deny you entry. Just throw him a couple of pesos, and he'll be more than accommodating. The views are nice and the atmosphere is fine, but it's all table service. The booths are big enough for large groups, but I like to walk around. Service was super slow. They have a food menu - mostly sushi and Asian fusion stuff. I'm pretty sure they purposely sat us in the American section because we were surrounded by people from New York. Biggest complaint was when we got the bill, we asked them to throw on 10% for the tip (pretty standard - we were told by our hosts not to give more), and the servers seemed pretty astonished that we didn't tip more. They kept asking us if we were sure.

Yelp
First of all, I was held hostage by the police who guard the street directly outside this hotel, and the hotel was unwilling to do anything to assist me. I was forced to pay a very expensive ransom in cash to the officers who patrol outside the hotel everyday, or they threatened to look me in prison for three days. They pretended like they were shocked and outrage that such a thing could happen, and that they would try to get to the bottom of it. But I later learned that this is a regular occurrence for hotel guests. I've been to Mexico and Mexico City many many times. This time I traveled to Mexico City with some friends for a long weekend. We had four rooms at the hotel. The first thing we noticed when we walked into the three rooms on the third floor was that they all smelled strongly of sewage. The interior room on the second floor had a very strong odor of mold. My friends on the third floor were told that there was nothing that could be done but that the smell would go away on its own. That was a lie. I was told I could switch from the second to the third floor, but I decided to go with the mold over the sewage. The rooms are extremely small, and bare. In a big city in the states you would expect to pay maybe half as much as this hotel charges. They have a sushi restaurant on the roof that sells sushi that tastes like it came pre-made from a supermarket. The hotel does not have drinking water. For some reason, they will not and cannot provide bottles of drinking water. The first time they explained this to me, I thought it was a joke. In a country where the tap water is not potable, that is the most basic requirement of any hotel. That alone should be reason not to stay here. I wanted to give one extra star for the incredible location. The neighborhood is beautiful and charming and centrally located. But then I remembered how useless this hotel and its staff were when I was held hostage by the police. So 1 star. Please save your money and stay literally anywhere else.

Yelp
Back 4 months after writing my first review of Condesa DF. This time we are sorely disappointed. First, they tried putting us in a room that smelled of epoxy = TOXIC. Then, they made us leave the room we ended up in for 3 nights (after refusing the epoxy-laden one) because they had a reservation for that room, but they gave us no warning. The room we are in now wreaks of sewage/sulfur (yuck!). It's our last night and the hassles have worn us out so we aren't making a fuss. But, we won't be back!!!

Claudia U.

Yelp
This place is the one is the best I ever tried in Mexico City. Good service. Good vibes. The drinks are excellent. Will recommend

Traveler M.

Yelp
There's something odd about this hotel, the website is designed nicely but in person the hotel does not live up to its description. The property is special however it's run down and needs a lot of maintenance and deep cleaning. I turned on the AC in my room, it was so loud and caused rattling noise I ended up turning it off. After staying there I'm surprised it's part of Marriott Bonvoy and a member of Design Hotels. The service was good however this hotel is overpriced and I will not stay there again.

Yelp
We arrived at the Condesa df with high expectation, given its high-end design and price. At first, we were pleased: the guard and the staff outside were on-it and super-kind and the hotel itself looks great. The check-in/concierge seemed a bit overwhelmed despite very few guests, but it was December 30th so, hey... Our room for 4 was both lovely and overlooking the boulevard, but small - and there were no drawers or shelves to place all or even a small fraction of our clothes. So four large suitcases remained open for the entirely of our 6-day stay - making an already-small room that much smaller and making the place feel cramped. Then there was the smell, which came from the washroom though none of us had used it. We called down; they seemed shocked by the possibility that they did nothing, not even sending a plumber. We requested another room but none were available. We lived with the odor for a few days before discovering a small leak in the plumbing which they did (finally) act upon and the smell left but was back again the following day. During this time, they twice forgot to clean our room and when my wife had a migraine, not only did they not have aspirin but they didn't even suggest where we might find some. Later that day, when we ventured to the roof for a dip in their scenic jacuzzi, we were greeting with lukewarm water and a drain clogged with paper hand towels that flew off the nearby sink area due to nothing keeping them down. And that's the quintessential problem with this hotel. It's pretty on the outside but the minute you step inside, you begin to feel there's more than a little bit wrong with the place. It feels as if it was designed by someone who never travelled before or who never brings bags with them or who simply forgot to think through design decisions. They really could use a user experience designer! It's hard to give this review much of the staff was courteous and kind. This attitude was not often present at the front desk. By Day 4, when we repeated our then unanswered, phone-based complaints, they were clueless and carefree. with an arrogance I've never witnessed in a service industry. He smiled smugly, saying "I understand" and nodded his head, but it became clear they didn't care. On our last morning, they allowed another departing family to take the car they had booked (for an extra fee) which left us without transport at 6am and with few Ubers available at such a tender hour. We ended up finding a ride while the contemptuous front desk person watched contemptuously. In the days that followed our repeated calls to the GM went unanswered. I hate to say this but not only can't I not recommend this hotel, I do think they should be fined and the front desk staff and GM replaced and trained to take care of their guests. We stay at fine hotels and never experienced anything like this before. We sure hope we never have to again. Shame on the Condesa df and it's horrible front desk.

Yelp
Came here solely for drinks on the roof. You wait at the downstairs bar for a rooftop table to open up, and the waiter lets you know when they have space available for you. Service was very friendly albeit a little slow. Sunset views are gorgeous and the cocktails are delicious.

Yelp
Stayed: December, 2015. I have always admired the Grupo Habita collection of hotels in Mexico. On a previous visit to Mexico City, having stayed at their purpose-built modernist Habita Hotel, I decided on this second trip to stay at Condesa DF (a renovated historic property). The room I had was compact and nicely designed. Outside my room, I enjoyed the restaurant and lounge on the ground floor, as well as the rooftop bar. If you are looking for a unique place to stay in Mexico City, where you feel like you are living in a mostly residential community (and not staying at a large bland hotel cut-off from reality), than I do recommend staying at Condesa. That said, I find the food served at Condesa is so-so. Many excellent restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, etc., are within easy walking distance.
google avatar

Ben S.

Yelp
I'm not sure how the hotel is, but the rooftop bar is pretty cool. The hotel is not high so the view isn't really of anything special, but it is still a cool space. There is modern furniture arranged to give everyone a good view. There are two top tables and couches for larger groups. The servers aren't the most friendly, but no one rushes you and you can enjoy a drink and the breeze and sun without feeling hurried or like your seat is wanted. Access to the rooftop is from the lift or stairs at the far back of the hotel. Open to non-guests.

Yelp
I reserved 4 or 5 days directly with the Condesa DF's website while in Mexico City and arrived to have the front desk run my bank card and photocopy my US passport. The card was declined, but worked both before and after this. I was already contending with a parking ticket that resulted in a wheel lock of my parked car. So, instead of seeing Mexico City, I was spending my days at the police station, the Fidanzas, my embassy, talking with foreign service members. This is crazy. The clerk wasn't sympathetic at all and in fact was trying hard to make me feel unwelcome. Hospitality much? There was a beautiful mother and her daughter loitering about, that ultimately ended up floating in their glass pool. There were strange looking security men that looked like mismatched mafiosi. Their restaurant was empty in the middle of a busy day during Christmas season, and they were overstaffed. This is not the way to run a business gentlemen. Good luck to you. SG PS This review is being blocked from being posted. A crime.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel but a little small and crowded. Wonderful bar on the roof with a decent menu and service. Amenities are somewhat limited (the gym is a treadmill and a punching bag). Feels totally hipster, but a little more chic. Good place to stay, but prepare for the douche factor.
google avatar

Shannon M.

Yelp
Jones-ing for a rooftop bar for the evening and took an Uber here around 7:30pm for an 8:15 sunset. The atmosphere is super chic and overlooks the Park. Ambiance is good and there is definitely a swanky crowd filling the ample seating areas. The drinks were solid and typical higher-end pricing for bars in Condesa. Unfortunately the three stars is due to the really poor service - we waited 20 minutes for anyone to take our order and had to flag a manager to actually get the drinks delivered. Also, the place was swarming with mosquitos and all four of us got TONS of bites. Lots of awesome other places to try but the cocktails were good.
google avatar

Matt E.

Yelp
Cool swanky hotel with a solid rooftop bar to enjoy tasty margaritas. Would be a 5 star review but they simply miss on the small things. Customer service is passive at best. They offer free breakfast, but charge you 6 bucks for water. I don't know why they are a Marriott member as they do not acknowledge the loyalty to the brand.

Maxwell S.

Yelp
I am writing this review from Hotel Condessa. It's 2:47 AM and I am covered in mosquito bites. My room is boiling hot but I can't turn on the AC because it smells like mold. If you stay here bring a mosquito net. I've stayed in nicer hotels in Afghanistan.

Sabrina L.

Yelp
We went to the rooftop bar on a Wednesday evening around 9 and it was dead. We were seated and no one came over for over 10 minutes. My boyfriend smoked an entire American Spirit, and then a few minutes later, our server came over. Reading over the menu, the food sounded good, so we ordered the ceviche Norteño, toro sushi, salmon and avocado roll, and pulpo tostada. We also ordered a margarita and a tamarind margarita. Service was EXTREMELY slow. Server was nice. Food was not good- worst I've had so far in DF, although the pulpo was ok. Drinks were good. Do not come here to eat. The night we went, it was dead. Maybe this spot is good for drinks on a weekend, but unless that's what you're going for-avoid
google avatar

Matthew T.

Yelp
Abysmal service on the terrace. It took 15 minutes after being seated (we had to seat ourselves) to be seen by a server. We only got one drink (which took an hour) because we were afraid ordering food would take forever. After waiting another 15 minutes for the check, we eventually walked up to the bartender to pay. They didn't have change and had to use money from their own wallet.

Yelp
Beautiful rooftop restaurant. Highly recommend going at night! And the sushi was amazing.

Yelp
The service at CondesaDF was superb. Cesar at the front desk was wonderful, he arranged the many requests I had, very efficiently. Cesar was polite and attentive. The hotel itself is lovely. I would highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here in April and it was surprisingly good. Tucked in the chic Condesa district, this hotel is walking distances from tons of restaurants and bars. Location is key here. The service is outstanding. The food is also pretty impressive. I strongly recommend to go to the rooftop lounge and soak in the Mexico City vibe over a nice drink. I wish the rooms had some drawers and/or more space for storage. I had some friends come by for a visit and my clothes was everywhere due to the lack of storage space. Not very practical. For the fitness junkies like myself the hotel does not have a gym in the premises. The hotel has a partnership with Centro Qi, a really good gym, that is located within a 10 min jog. The area is pretty much safe to jog and walk around. If you're visiting for work I would not recommend this gym as most amenities like iron, storage space, gym, etc are not easily accessible. If you're visiting for pleasure with your loved one or by yourself I would strongly recommend this place. You can get all romantic in the rooftop while enjoying a mojito or taking a stroll in the park nearby.

Yelp
Lovely place for early evening drinks. Nice atmosphere and good drinks. Warm service.

Yelp
This review is for the rooftop bar. The setting is great, the drinks were expensive by Mexico City standard but good. The service was awful and they totally try to price gouge you. We asked for some water and instead of asking us if we just wanted regular water they brought us each a small bottle that ended up costing $7.50 US each. We ordered an appetizer of calamari. It was atrocious. Completely cold. When the server who was extremely friendly but never around asked why we didn't send it back I thought because we couldn't find anyone to say anything about. They did not take it off the bill. Essentially $50 US for two drinks and called app given how they push the bill. Also, I saw a server in the bathroom who essentially rinsed his hands no soap no washing. I would never go back

Yelp
A beautiful part of town, but this hotel has been the cool kid for way too long. At one point, this place must have been the best, but I was SHOCKED by the level of idiocy and lack of graciousness here. We arrived late, eager to get to bed -- and the night manager had no idea how to use the system. 40 minutes later we finally settled into our room -- so small that there was no room to open our suitcases (we were told we were upgraded). Then, while brushing my teeth, the bathroom flooded with sewage water -- the SINK WAS NOT EVEN CONNECTED TO THE WALL. After complaining, they did move us to a similar room with a working sink -- but when we wanted to order some water, the phone didn't work. On check out -- I explained our dissatisfaction and our expectation for a discount to which the general manager replied: THESE THINGS HAPPEN. Expensive for a total and complete dump. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Yelp
Fucking garbage. They threw a party in the courtyard that went on all night and had zero regard for all the noise for the actual guests at the hotel. We booked many rooms for a work trip and they did nothing to prioritize us.

Yelp
Come here at sunset, but on the weekends, a bit earlier since it gets crowded fast and there's no standing room. Beautiful views, cozy deck, and great inexpensive cocktails. Mostly tourists and foreigners, but still a good vibe. My favorite was the tamarind margarita (margarita tamarindo) and the horchata martini. There's a small, expensive gift shop on the main floor with lots of locally produced jewelry and other items.

Yelp
Rooftop is nice but in a city with many rooftops nothing stands out. Very limited menu. View is limited and obscured on sides with buildings. Would not go out of my way to select this location in a city many other offerings.

Yelp
Old, not the cleanest, service was just ok. Their website makes it look way better than what they are in reality. I can't stress enough how old and musty this hotel is. Not worth the $245 per night by any stretch of the imagination. The food was nothing special either. Avoid at all cost. There are many, many better options out there. I have no idea how they're getting away with charging the rates they do. This is a $98 per night hotel at best. Oh yeah, and if you have children, turn the tv off immediately after going inside your room (in the unfortunate occasion that you still stay there after reading my review), as soon as you go in the room they have a terribly made "soft porn" video playing in a loop. Very distasteful indeed. Cool is what they're going for but lame is what they got with that video. Sorry, not sorry for posting this.

Yelp
We came to Condesa DF not knowing what to expect on recommendation from a friend. The drinks and sushi were amazing as was the view. But our favorite part was the amazing waiter Alexander who stayed to talk with us. He was so nice and great to talk to. He should definitely get a raise!
