"Located on the 2nd floor of Hotel du Parc, bask in the elegant main dining room or watch the sushi chefs at work from the blonde wooden counter. The menu covers all the bases and is great value for money at lunchtime. The extensive à la carte menu offers a fine range of Kaiseki options. Don't overlook the house specialities, including the knockout sushi and sashimi. A smooth, professional operation run by a smart, friendly team." - Michelin Inspector

I would probably rate 4 stars if I hadn’t stayed on the executive floor w/ a lounge access included. |I was looking forward to the Japanese style “omotenadhi”. The breakfast restaurant was a disappointment. I’m sorry but one waitress was snotty as ever. Young staffs were okay. Well, I wouldn’t want to start a day with a frown saying “hey, sit”.. Maybe that’s her way of serving, but certainly, does not belong there. The coffee there wasn’t great anyway, so we headed to the lounge on the 16th floor every morning to get some real coffee w/ great smiles from Ms. Ngoc. She made us the delicious cafe latte for me and my daughter during our stay ! Also the mint fresh tea, and chamomile tea , other drinks were great too! |The people at the lounge were fabulous. We spent most of our free time there just enjoying our tea and coffee! |The room was clean and roomy, we loved it! but one thing, the floor slightly smells like cigarette smoke. They do still have smoking rooms on the executive floors and since we’re not smokers, the smoke scent kind of bothered us. Anyway, no one will regret the executive floor stay! The Japanese omotenashi is there!

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations I had for a five-star property. The furnishings in my room (1516) appeared dated, and one of the bed frames was unstable. Within minutes of my arrival, I noticed the bed leaning to one side. Although staff sent someone to adjust it, the issue persisted throughout the day so I had to keep adjusting the wheel so the bed didn't lean. While I appreciate the staff’s willingness to assist and kindness, I personally did not feel the room quality reflected the cost of this hotel.

I enjoyed a comfortable stay here. The rooms are sizeable with good air conditioning and plumbing. The breakfast buffet is superb and the staff attentive and helpful. It is close to one of the train streets in Hanoi with plenty to browse or see nearby.

It's a spacious room with a traditional design. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were all very friendly! Special thanks to Ms. Phuong and Ms. Mayu—they were extremely helpful and responded promptly to all our requests. Great attitude and sweet smiles! Thumbs up! I’ll definitely come back again in the future. 😊

still my favorite spot! came back to the restaurant and, of course, had my go-to chicken spaghetti, still as delicious as ever. the pasta was perfectly cooked, the chicken flavorful, and the sauce creamy without being too heavy. the staff remembered me and brought out my favorite drink without me even asking. that small gesture meant a lot.

Sorry, but my stay was disappointing. The way in which you promote yourself is not reflective of the hotel and the room I stayed in (922). The room was tired and very dated. It needs a refresh without doubt. The fridge was so loud I had to unplug it. The bed was rock hard, and I like a firm mattress! The carpet was stained and there was a musty odour. The shower had a fixed nozzle that couldn't be adjusted and the water shot out above my head. Sorry, but this hotel doesn't reflect what they say it is. Breakfast was just an average selection of food and poor jug coffee.

Only hotel in hanoi that has reasonable standard. Japanese washroom and ample space in bedroom even for standard room. Pleasant stay. All other hotels in old quarter is paid review (mostly literally forcing guests to review). Had really bad experience with other hanoi old quarter hotels. 4/5 star in old quarter is 3 star anywhere else. This hotel really maintains the standard. 5* stay.

Beautiful, well-run hotel with marvelous breakfast. Everything about this hotel runs like clockwork with a terrific front desk -- thank you, Ms. Huong and Ms. Phuong -- and rooms with c. 1940s furniture that overlook a lovely park. The bedding was really exquisite and you can't overlook the heated-seat Japanese-style toilets. The only struggle was that a number of U.S. Internet sites got blocked and that made working difficult but the WiFi was very speedy.
