Azabu

"Located on the 2nd floor of Hotel du Parc, bask in the elegant main dining room or watch the sushi chefs at work from the blonde wooden counter. The menu covers all the bases and is great value for money at lunchtime. The extensive à la carte menu offers a fine range of Kaiseki options. Don't overlook the house specialities, including the knockout sushi and sashimi. A smooth, professional operation run by a smart, friendly team." - Michelin Inspector

AVOID MASSAGE/SPA services at all cost. Hotel du Parc – Overall Review Hotel: Hotel du Parc offers excellent value for money. The service was exquisite and staff were attentive throughout my stay. While the property itself is relatively old, it is well maintained. The toilets were clean, comfortable, and well kept, which made a positive difference. Dining – Azabu Restaurant: Azabu, the Michelin-listed Japanese restaurant, was a highlight. The food was fantastic and very good value for money. Quality, presentation, and overall experience exceeded expectations. Spa: Unfortunately, the spa experience was extremely disappointing and I would strongly advise avoiding it. The massage was poorly executed and lacked effort — the therapist frequently used only one hand with minimal pressure. While the first 10 minutes started off reasonably well, the quality quickly declined. The back massage was particularly bad, with repeated pressure applied directly on the spine rather than the surrounding muscles during the shiatsu massage. There was almost no actual muscle work. Even after requesting stronger pressure on the muscles, it was only applied briefly before returning to a weak, ineffective massage. To make matters worse, the spa pricing is easily two to three times higher than massages outside the hotel, making it very poor value for money. This was by far the worst part of the stay, and I would not recommend the spa to anyone. I entered the spa with a sore back but left with back pain.

Amazing staff, Amazing room, super fancy lobby which may surpass other 5 Star Hotels. Location is strategically well placed. Quite a number of halal food options near the hotel. However the TV settings are a little hard to read as it is displayed in Japanese. Do recommend the hotel staff to ask the customers for any changes or requests to fit the hotel room to their liking.

Comfortable and quiet hotel with friendly and professional staff. Rooms spacious though no iron a neg for me and a 70s vibe with the fittings. Not an international class 5 star but decent value compared to other real high end offerings. Restaurants look good though I havent tried them yet.

We stayed there 3 separate times over 2 weeks. And after the first stay, they remembered who we were. And they were extremely welcoming. Every check in was so easy because they knew who we were, and they had everything pulled up before we even got to the counter. Our first stay was in an Executive Suite. And its an extremely big room. Everything is included in the mini bar and we had breakfast included as well. The breakfast buffet had a lot of selections and was very good. Our next few stays were in their normal rooms. Those are still a good sized room. We were traveling from New Zealand so it was so nice to have such a welcoming and helpful hotel staff. We really felt looked after. Our next trip we're definitely going to be staying there again

The room was clean and facilities were good. Avoid the massage at all cost! By charging double the price of massage, the quality must be good. However, the massage was the worse I've experienced in the entire Vietnam. Did an hour japanese massage at 790,000 vnd and the masseur strength was not consistent through out, 70% of the time felt like my skin moving as if she has fallen asleep. She was using her phone too while massaging with 1 hand. Also prompted her to apply stronger strength twice, but was pointless. Overall, the massage was a waste of time.

I want to come back to this hotel just for the amazing food. I stayed here over three nights and I have never been let down by the restaurant downstairs. They have the most delicious buffet breakfast amongst all the hotels I have stayed in. Their croissant was buttery, crispy and flaky. When I dipped the croissant in the creamy onsen egg, it was amazing! For dinner, the beef pho was more expensive than what you can buy at a local restaurant, but the flavours were just perfectly balanced. It was honestly the best pho I had in Vietnam. I also really enjoyed their creamy chicken pasta. The room was a good size. However, it may need some new paint for the walls, but the service was great. The staff were lovely and attentive. The beds were comfortable, not too firm and not too soft. The location is within a really short walk to train street. It is a little bit further from the Old Quarter, but you can easily call a Grab ride to go anywhere in Vietnam.

Staying at a good hotel is an experience that brings comfort, relaxation, and peace of mind. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the warm welcome through friendly staff, smooth check-in, and a clean, inviting atmosphere. A well-designed room with comfortable bedding, fresh linens, and thoughtful amenities makes you feel at home, allowing you to unwind after a long day. Good hotels prioritize cleanliness, safety, and excellent service, ensuring that every guest feels valued. Delicious breakfast, convenient facilities, and a quiet environment add to the overall enjoyment of the stay. Whether traveling for business or leisure, a good hotel provides everything you need for a pleasant and memorable experience. The combination of comfort, hospitality, and attention to detail creates a stay that leaves a lasting impression and makes you want to return again in the future.

Fell ill in Sapa and couldn't sleep in the crappy hotel there so after a couple of nights without sleep, gave up and took a bus back to Hanoi and booked a room here at the Hotel du Parc. Was the best decision as the bed was super comfortable. Very thankful for the pleasant, quiet atmosphere. The pool and gym looked amazing though I was not well enough to use either. Definitely will come back here. PS - the drip coffee in room was a nice touch
