"On the ground floor of the hotel, this restaurant, which sports a bright, modern interior, has been taken over by a dynamic duo comprised of the former second and his wife. Tuck into heartwarming, bountiful fare made with regional produce: Aubrac beef and trout, persillade of lamb sweetbreads or squab breast. Traditional aligot (mashed potatoes and cheese) is served with the main course." - Michelin Inspector

We would like to thank the owner and the staff for their kindness and we had a wonderful room, excellent dinner, and we came for GREAT RUNNING EVENT! So we were glad to get a room and enjoyed the clean and calm and good size of it!|Breakfast is still the French way- but we think this will change in some years. This is the only small unimportant criticism. But since it is a very good hotel and not big - a buffet would be exagerated.|Dinner was fantastic! But if you go there and eat- why not stay overnight!||We recommend it et merci pour tout!|See you for the trail next year- in the same hotel!||

It's difficult to add much to a previous review. This was an excellent hotel for an overnight stop, even though we were bizarrely the only people staying on a Friday night in April (although apparently they'd been full the previous night). The room was very good, comfortable king-size bed and very quiet despite the hotel being on the road.||Dinner was also very good, and the restaurant was almost full, presumably all local customers. ||Breakfast was simple but very fresh with homemade jams and local juice. ||The location of the hotel is easy to find and somewhat uninteresting, but a shortish walk away is the Trou - an amazing ox-bow canyon with the village around the top. We were surprised it's not better known.||And on top of everything it was incredible value.

We made a last minute room reservation at the hotel as on a motorbike, and caught by the wet weather. ||||The room was advertised as available. We were taken to the room but it was not clean or ready . Note: it was 18:00….||||We decided to wait for the room to be ready and were shown to a bar area. Staff walked around us pretty much ignoring us. No offer of a coffee, not a hello from the staff, despite the fact we were clearly cold and wet. We made the mistake of flagging the poor welcoming experience to be told we were spoilt customers and should be sympathetic to the plights of the owners : - busy, COVID-19 year, staffing etc. Etc. That in fact we should be grateful they were so accommodating in cleaning the room for us, what did we expect booking last minute etc.||Except that had we known the room was not clean, we’d taken our business elsewhere. instead we were verbally abused by the clearly stressed out lady owner.||Note to the hotel: Please do not advertise your rooms if you are not able to host and take a long hard look at your customer service :)

Indeed, as others mentioned before, the rooms are simple. But they are modern and functional. Well, as long as the mattress is good, and in this case it was, that's all we want. ||Wifi did not work. Even the doughter, their computerweardo could not arrange it. It was with their provider. Ah well, s..t happens.||||Now to the restaurant. Modern room, light colours, but a bit unpersonal. ||It carries a Michelin BIB gourmand and I must agree that it is merited, but really, no more, no less.||They serve traditional French cuisine, rather nicely presented, but on the salty side.||Good winelist, solely French with an accent on Bordeaux. Also some affordable ones of the nearby region, Marcillac, which was very nice, deep purple colour, round, with lots of black fruit.||Traditional French way of serving, in black and white. No time for any chitchat, things had to go on. I would quote that behaviour old school.||||Breakfast was traditional French, cracking fresh ficelle, homemade jams and wonderful fresh white cheese.||||1 overnight, 3 course meal, 1 bottle of wine, breakfast: 166€. All in all, it was correct.

Perfect overnight stop with a very good room at an amazing prize. Dinner also very good value; Well-prepared modern french cuisine with an intresting wine-list. Uninteresting location on the outskirts of the village. Good breakfast.

One of the best places for gastronomy in Aveyron. Fine cooking , good choice to taste the specialities from the region.
