"Hotelier Thierry Costes and artist/club impresario André have come together again for a follow-up to their ever-popular Hotel Amour, doubling the space to accommodate the demand for their particular brand of Parisian cool. Each room is individually decorated with some incredible vintage finds and a scattering of artwork by the likes of Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin. Meanwhile, downstairs, the all-day café/bistro is the place to see and be seen by locals, expats, and even Saraiva himself. "

Great for drinks, v fun people watching. Sit by the aquarium or the open air section, although they close at 12 bc of actual hotel guests. Move to the back area with standing bar

I live in the Uk and work in Paris. I stay at hotel grand amour every week. It has become home from home. The hotel staff are my second family. I regularly invite friends they all say the same thing “It’s a very special place” I could not agree more. The rooms are beautiful, attention to detail is second to none. The food is delicious. The cocktails are fabulous all served with love.

I have stayed at the hotel and really enjoyed it. The room was tiny but hotel has a cool vibe. I also really like the little restaurant that is attached. They have a great daily dish Mon-Fri that I keep coming back for.

One of the most romantic hotels in Paris. Thank you Manuarii and Nadia for making our 4th stay magical with the best welcome ever! for your recommandations about the room choice, restaurant, and little good care of us until departure day! if you are still looking for humanity, courtesy, and a romantic Parisian and FAMILY spirit, this is it! We will come back soon with great pleasure! we miss you already!

The front of house made me feel loved and welcome at all times. Manu, an icon, switched my room to accommodate my request for a bath and provided love 🧡 and humour. I was overwhelmed with work and their care was exactly what I needed at the end of my day. Ines in the restaurant was great too. I think the staff here really make the whole hotel.

We had an outstanding time in Paris and it is all thanks to the Grand Amour Hotel. Right as we first walked in, we were greeted by incredibly friendly and attentive staff who welcomed us to the hotel with open arms. All of the staff there go above and beyond for their customers and it’s clear they all care about their business and take pride in their work. We were always treated like a special guest and shown kindness! The hotel is situated in the perfect location for those looking to be close to everything without being somewhere crowded. The area is quiet and a walking distance from hundreds of places that offer delicious food, but what’s even better is that the restaurant with a fantastic selection is located directly in the lobby! We ate here almost every day, and got room service so frequently, because the food here was just so delicious! The crème brûlée here is a MUST try - it is so rich and flavourful, it was arguably the best one we had in Paris. If sweets are not your thing, I suggest the grilled squid - the texture and quality was unreal and it was paired and seasoned really nicely. As for the rooms, there is beautiful vintage decor that make for a stunning ambiance and aesthetic. Your room will feel like a museum - they are so well done and decorated, we felt like we could live there forever! The lady who came to clean our room was such a sweetheart- she was always checking on us and kept our rooms immaculate. She also went above and beyond to help us in any way she could. We felt totally safe here because there is security cameras on every floor and the hotel is staffed 24:7, so we never had any issue with security. All in all, we will MOST DEFINITELY be returning here on our next trip to Paris, and I would highly recommend anyone staying here make Hotel Grand Amour the place you stay for your vacation as well.

This was my second time in Paris and my fiancés 1st. I was so excited to show him the city that I love so much! We decided to stay here because we got a couple recommendations and the area seemed good. Upon arrival and after a 20 hour travel day, we were not greeted but glared at, no one said hello to us and they watched as we fumbled in with our luggage. The lady at the front desk was beyond Parisian rude, she was an unhelpful witch. No one showed us to our room. After opening the door to our room, I was shocked. We only brought carry ons and there was absolutely no room to store them let alone to store your toiletries, clothes, etc if you wanted to unpack. We were here for a week. I went back down to ask her if we could have some more hangers for the half ass clothing rack they provide and she glared at me again and says I don’t know if we do I’ll send them. Ummm ok? To cut it all short, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The cafe service and night life of the restaurant is lively but the hotel portion of this place is absolute trash. The room sizes should be illegal, there is no air conditioning, and the room service is horrible. The guy practically broke our door down when he knocked and didn’t say a word, just shoved the tray in my face and shut the door. It honestly feels like a prison staying here. If you do order room service, there is no place to put your food because the room is so small so you have to eat on the bed. Make sure not to spill because there is no one to ask for extra towels, sheets, pillows, etc. The design of the shower makes it so the entire floor of the bathroom becomes soaked even if you take a quick shower. These aren’t hostel prices and regardless of the room sizes, I would expect a bit more on the hospitality side. Safe to say I’ll never stay here again and you shouldn’t either.

I had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant in Paris. Despite repeatedly requesting a different table due to the overpowering stench from the nearby toilets, we were denied and urged to stay seated. The staff displayed arrogance, and the food was disappointingly subpar. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all.

Google
Cool ambiance, delicious drinks, but they placed us, in December at -1 C, on an outdoor terrace without prior warning when reserving! There was a wall heater, but definitely not enough to keep minimally warm. No blankets and no apologies either… so we ended up dining in our winter coats and got out as quickly as we could! And service was slow, absent minded.

Yelp
Great space downstairs and they are welcoming whether you want to work or eat or both, just as at the original Hotel Amour. Probably one of the classiest places you can duck into near Gare de l'Est, which is more known for its authenticity than its swank.

Yelp
I was so lucky to happen upon this restaurant that is housed in a hotel. The servers were so so nice and one even took me around after my fab dinner to see a few of the other rooms not in use during dinner. No details was overlooked in the décor. I speak rusty French and the servers were sweet enough to allow me to carry on en Français, but also were able to help out with foods I don't know in French. I had a delicious fish with squash (possibly pumpkin) and started with radishes with butter - so french, so good. The wine selection by bottle is vast, more limited by glass, but one can very easily manage to find a nice glass. The cocktails are also nice. I'm impressed and also semi-surprised that I had not read anything about this fantastic place...wish I had left room for dessert!

Yelp
I have been here a few times and never get tired in its peculiarity as a hotel, bar, restaurant, the service it's amazing people here are really set in making sure you have a good time, from the crowed bar at night filled with a bunch of really interesting Parisians and foreigners all mixed in to a fun group.

Yelp
Charming inside, but no decent or filling vegan/vegetarian options on the menu. Also the waitresses take forever bringing you the check so ask in advance otherwise you'll get trapped there.
