We stayed on a recent weekend in cabin number two. We tried originally to get a room in the hotel, but they told us we had to book the cabins apparently because we had more than two people.||||The cabins are well appointed with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a family room, kitchen, and small dining area. The incident we had was that we had stored a bunch of perishables in the refrigerator only to find out later that the refrigerator was not working – not cooling. Unfortunately, we lost a lot of food because of the non-working refrigerator. ||||Upon calling Managment, they were understanding and gave us a food and beverage credit, as well as a credit for the amenity fee. We were able to use the food and beverage credit in the restaurant, and enjoyed dining there on the last night of our stay. What was a bit unusual about the restaurant is that outside on the patio they served the food with paper plates and plastic utensils. I feel like if they are trying to promote sustainability, they should use real plates and utensils. ||||The amenities include a pool, hot tub, two saunas, fitness room, and bikes available for check out. We enjoyed all of the amenities, with the exception of the bikes. We got some maps from the local bike ||rental store, and apparently there are quite a few places to ride around the lake.||||All in all, a great family getaway! A few suggestions I have for the hotel- 1. Not to store things for the staff laundry area outside of the building, which was viewable from our kitchen area, and not in a good way. 2. The beds are somewhat unusual in that they seem like air mattresses. Perhaps the beds can be improved. 3. Some kettles would be nice in the kitchen area, as not everyone drinks, coffee.||||Make sure to check out Tropicale restaurant across the street. We had a great meal and a great experience there!
