"Mention Marseille and immediately thoughts turn to brawling sailors in the bars of the old port — in the popular imagination, it’s still a place to get in trouble, not a place to get away from it all. But today’s Marseille is something rather different, an urbane and cosmopolitan city, its idyllic Mediterranean climate drawing a steady stream of visitors as the city sheds its rough-and-tumble reputation." - Tablet Hotels

This was my first time in Marseille and I got a room with a sea view. The hotel was beautiful. The staff were very helpful and spoke English. I also enjoyed the spa and the services provided. I’d definitely come back and stay at this hotel again.

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is fabulously quirky with lots of mad art. The staff were friendly and all spoke at least 2 languages. Our room 353 , didn’t have a balcony or terrace but the most amazing view over both sea and Pool. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean. The room is guaranteed by 4 but ours was ready at 2 and check out at 12. Late check out is available at an extra cost. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room but water would have been nice.||We weren’t sure where the beach was and maybe didn’t explore the grounds enough | |The pool is a sea water pool and towels are provided. There is a bar and snacks available. ||The restaurant doubles for breakfast buffet which had everything you could wish for and we had dinner and lunch which was delicious. The service was good and overlooks the pool and sea. ||The hotel is situated outside Marseille about 40 mins in a taxi from the airport | We tried public transport but couldn’t find the bus stop ! ||Only negatives and they are small is water in the room would be nice and a hand rail in the shower. A small guide to the hotel and the surrounding area would be useful.

Very beautiful hotel, looks quite new. |Pros: |- location on the sea front, you have direct access to the sea. Located along the Corniche Kennedy which is a great spot for walks, jogs, cycle rides. Stunning views of the Mediterranean from the room, and the hotel common areas |- new, well equipped rooms, with a nice desk, well organized spaces, nice bathroom with bath robes and flip flops instead of those old fashioned slippers|- buffet breakfast: it is very good and very good variety too, at least for my European taste. I think it is fairly priced too. One downside is that if you want just a small breakfast with perhaps one drink and a small bite you would have to get that from the bar, which I think is not that great. I had one latte there, and they made it with long life milk which is unacceptable for the price||Cons:|- parking is expensive, I understand that private parking costs have somehow exploded recently, but it is still too expensive. Free parking can be easily found on the Corniche, adjacent to the hotel. But it is not safe. A gang of thieves was operating during my stay and they stole the cover of the mirror of my car, and apparently of several others, while I was there.|- getting there: I had difficulties getting there and out of there. Google maps (which recently seems to have become really bad) made me use a tunnel inside the city which is outrageously expensive, over 6 euros to go through it|- the gym is quite ugly, I did not even consider using it and went instead jogging on the stunning corniche along the sea just outside |- the chair in the room is quite uncomfortable, made of hard plastic, cannot be used for a prolonged time, for instance to work at your laptop

The nhow Marseille is a lovely hotel with a beautiful location on the sea. Gorgeous setting with pool, excellent restaurants, and attentive service on site. We also enjoyed walking along the promenade into Marseilles and enjoying the sweeping views of the sea. This is a wonderful place to stay in Marseilles - peaceful setting and grounds with excellent service overlooking the sea.

The view is the reason we choose nhow Marseille. However, being a hotel chain like this, I expect staff to be able to understand English. Most staff are make us feel they are just working there and now about making the guests feel welcomed. They also try to charge us for getting some forks and plates to the room. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel especially if you can't speak French.

I’ve been coming here year after year for decades, and after spending over a month here this summer, I can honestly say the Nhow team has been nothing short of amazing. They are extremely dedicated to making every stay unforgettable — from the warm welcome at the front desk to the relaxing vibes by the swimming pool.||I especially want to highlight Gaëlle, Thaïs, Kada, Frédéric, and Maxence from the swimming pool team for their incredible service and friendly energy.||||At the restaurant, Melain and Margot brought a casual yet welcoming atmosphere that made every meal a pleasure.||||And of course, the welcome team — with Emmanuelle, Benjamin,Cyril, Eugenia & co — made check-in feel like a “smoothie” experience: fresh, easy, and full of good vibes.||||Can’t wait to come back again!||
