"This white cottage seems to sit right on the ocean. The chef has chosen this isolated location to craft delicious cuisine in line with his commitment to local surf and turf produce. The result is beautifully presented dishes, such as slow-cooked pork cheeks in cider vinegar served with cabbage and apples baked in salted butter." - Michelin Inspector

The location is absolutely fantastic, very calm, perfect sand beach just in front, soft waves sound in the night. Comfortable rooms, the suite is much better than the normal double (a bit tight). Breakfast is delicious and high quality. The reception could be warmer, and the toilettries should be replaced daily. Would come back!

We have not visited this hotel, which is a great favourite, since the COVID pandemic. I am delighted to say that it is as charming as ever. We had a one night stay in a balcony room on the 1st floor overlooking the beach. The room was compact but very comfortable.|We stayed on a Wednesday night when the restaurant is closed but we were provided with an excellent table d’hote menu which was delicious. The breakfast the next morning was equally good with plenty of home made goodies.|The wifi worked, the bed was comfortable and the staff were charming.|Can’t wait to return.

My stay was exceptional in every way and I am happy to have this opportunity to say why. During my stay I suffered a small TIA stroke to my eye and Mme Le Torc'h and her wonderful team all went out of there way to help me access local medical help as well as emailing resulting reports back to my doctor in the UK to prepare for ongoing treatment. They could not have done more if I had been one of there own. Our room which had been booked on the ground floor was incidentally one of their disabled rooms so turned out to be perfect for my needs at this time. The entire hotel which has been in the hands of the same family for over 60 years looked as if it had been recently redecorated and was well beyond the standard of it's 3 star rating. Breakfasts served in their enormous dining room with views of the sea were elaborate and generously laid out for every taste. Every member of staff at this establishment knows his job and carries it out to the highest standard. Dinner in the gourmet restaurant was a treat not to be missed. The location views alone deserves a 5 star rating. Situated at the point of a narrow penninsula it is only a few steps from the front door to the sandy beach with breath taking views across to Concarneau. There is a comfortably furnished terrace running the length of the frontage of the hotel and another one at the back overlooking the bayside for drinks or lounging. The atmosphere of this hotel is laid back in the nicest possible way while never forgetting that the comfort and pleasure of its guests always comes first. All being well we hope to return again in a few months time to enjoy more of their wonderful hospitality which was unfortunately cut short on this occasion. I want to stress that I have not given this exceptionally high rating because of my personal circumstances but because it was such a pleasure to find that this highly professional old fashioned type of service is still alive and thriving in modern day France and needs to be celebrated.

When we stay at a Logis Hotel we are sure that everything will be excellent. In this case the location was perfect, our room had perfect views of the sea in front and the lagoon behind, it was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful and the Demi- pension meals were superb. Our dog who stayed with us loved the beach and sea, 20 yds from the front door.

My husband and I spent a few nights at Hotel de la Pointe while we explored the Finistère area of Brittany. It was a good base to travel up to an hour or so to various sights.||||The hotel is on a relatively quiet street with views of the water across the road. The young lady at reception was friendly and very helpful and she took us to our room up one flight of stairs. The room was very basic and small but had a decent sized bathroom and lots of shelf space in the closet. We had a cute balcony, overlooking the ocean, which had a small two top table and chairs. The French doors had a privacy shade which we rolled down at night while keeping the windows open a bit for fresh air. The tub/shower had a window smack in the middle of it but had a curtain over it for privacy. Guests should be aware that there is a family dog on the property, and while we did sometimes hear it in the morning (the room walls are thin), it was very quiet at night. ||||Breakfast was plentiful with good croissants, various breads, fruit, yogurt, DIY boiled eggs, ham, cheeses, etc. We had dinner two nights in the hotel restaurant- it was a tad pricey but worth it! The chef is a wizard and we enjoyed so many fine local dishes. These were our best meals in Brittany. The tastefully decorated restaurant dining room has views of a basin and is a lovely setting. Service was superb and very friendly. Two months later, my husband and I are still taking about our dinners there. ||||The owners and the staff were a delight and so helpful during our visit. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Hotel de la Pointe and we would stay there again and recommend it to other travelers as well.

Just home from an amazing four day break, our best ever. Hotel is delightful; beautifully designed with elegant rooms in discreet colours highlighted with bright cushions telling you (in French) to relax on the beach! ||Everything works; heating, hot water (plenty,) high quality bed linen, sensible electrical window blinds operated at the touch of a button; these people know what they are doing. Best elements are the sensational setting between a quiet inlet and a white sand beach sheltered by pines and the wonderful attitude of all staff, amazing given our school-level French. Loved the ladies who did breakfast and explained how we could work the space-age coffee machine! Food was a cut above the usual hotel cuisine. Dishes using local produce are artfully prepared and arranged on the plate. Desserts to die for and a very comprehensive wine list. The chef here must be among the best in the region and deserves our compliments. The welcome was genuine and warm, while staff remained professional and seemed to be there for their customers of all nationalities. We found this hotel by chance, but will return as soon as we can. Southern Brittany was a delight and there is so much to see - the coastline is wilder and more interesting than the north and there's a sense of freedom. There are great walks direct from the hotel too. A little gem.

Delightful hotel in a unique location between the sea and lagoon behind. Comfortable rooms, a good restaurant make this splendid place for a relaxing stop. The only downside is lack of parking spaces as we went during the peak holiday season.

our family was very well received by the owner of this hotel and her family. every morning they asked our son whether he slept well.. and wished us a good day at the beach! very kind! we had a chance to get upgrade to family suite. the restaurant run by the sun of the owner is worth a try.. at least once (as prices bite). delicious risotto with truffles! you get to enjoy the sea view from bed! the beach tho has seaweed issue.. gushy and smelly soup of weed ) but the views are fantastic in cap coz. as there are only 4 restaurants in the walking reach, better book.
