Stayed for a long weekend late September 22. The hosts are very attentive and friendly. Rooms and accommodations are a bit old but classy and in good shape. The pool billiard area is fun to hang out, the tiny spa is a bit smelly but otherwise ok- reserve your spa time in advance. The food served on all meals was fresh and with a high focus on quality. Dinner menus were surprising and very good. Fair value for money, even the beverage prices are a bit high.

This traditional family run hotel has a wonderful restaurant. The service is good and the food is of Michelin star level. We had the menu at 69 euro, everything was perfect but the dessert was just outstanding. Local Jura wines at reasonable prices.||A lovely garden with a swimming pool overlooking the Doubs valley and Switzerland makes this the perfect place to chill out. The rooms are clean and traditional. And peaceful!

Wow great place. Fab welcome supplying lovely filled rolls even though kitchen was closed. Rooms old fashioned but comfy with good bathrooms. The views are amazing especially from the very clean pool. Food and service was fantastic as was the local pinot blanc wine. Good breakfast on beautiful terrace. Loved it!

Room comfortable, but decor dire, warm bathroom, ashtray full of cigarette ends on balcony. Dead plants about inside. Pool green and obviously out of action for some time. Menu lacked choice, service slow and prices excessive. Breakfast poor for the price. Stayed at another Logis next night near Auxerre, what a contrast! Excellent food, plenty of choice, comfortable characterful room , all at two thirds the price.

Enjoyed our stay. Our room had a outside balcony with a stunning view. Wonderful to have a swimming pool too, which was very quiet when we were there. Dinner was lovely but we did feel it was a little pricey. Would return

We stayed at the Hotel Taillard as part of a road trip in our Tesla Model S from the UK to Venice & back. We chose it: a) because it had a Tesla destination charger; b) it appeared to have a good restaurant; and c) its location was midway between two other stops. We were not disappointed on any count. The Tesla destination charger is in their private garage, thus charging your Tesla here makes you feel even more of a VIP than usual. The restaurant was old-school, the menu excellent and not over-priced given the quality of the food, and the wine list featured wines from the Jura, which is what we were hoping for. The location is pretty, above the Doubs river with Switzerland (and its higher prices!) on the opposite bank (which probably accounted for the Swiss people eating dinner there). Our quiet room with its own small terrace was in the outbuilding that housed the car charger, meaning we were only feet away from our car for loading/unloading.

It is a nice, old fashioned hotel with a fine restaurant, fantastic view and semi-friendly personnel. The pool area is wonderful, the sitting room very nice and our room was ok but not great (nr. 18). The rooms with a better view were all taken (we were told).

Very helpful and efficient staff, beautiful views, immaculate rooms and absolutely delicious meals. What more could you ask for? A swimming pool perhaps? There is a lovely one - easy to get in and out of, spotlessly clean and with views to die for. Would we go again - yes!
