Hotel Spa A Quinta Da Auga Relais & Châteaux

The service is great, warm and welcoming for all guests. The place is really chateau style and not very modern. Rooms are comfortable and you can bring your dog 🐕 (at additional costs). The ‘Spa’ is outdated and too expensive (including the treatments) and should be limited to a maximum of 6 people, showers not working properly anymore. The restaurant serves good food, at hotel prices. Chairs at the table are comfortable but need replacement. The location is perfect, quite and just outside the city. Taxi is 10 Euro to the city centre.

This hotel is superb in every way - the attention to detail is only surpassed the incredible staff. Especially would like to mention Lucia in the spa - a master massage therapist and healer - the front desk Cardina and Lucia - so friendly, professional and kind, and Jorge and Carlos in the restaurant - top notch service and knowledge of wine...and of course the food was off the charts. We loved our dinner so much we ordered it again the next day!

By far the most luxurious and relaxing stay I’ve experienced! Every detail is addressed and every desire is anticipated and met! If you feel the need to be surrounded by beauty, comfort and an attentive staff this is the place. A stay here will most certainly cure you of what ails you and or rejuvenate your diminished spirit.

A Quinta da Agua is the perfectly romantic place to stay. The grounds are groomed yet wild, flowers everywhere and the eucalyptus scents the air. Rooms are very comfortable and the bed linens make you feel like you’re sleeping on a cloud. Be specific when ordering the sirloin as to what temperature you like. It’s pricey but it’s worth it!

The room is nice, and the restaurant should be good, I couldn’t visit unfortunately, since there was no vegetarian meals. Be aware that it is a spa hotel, but the spa cost 30€ pr pers pr day, even if you book treatments.

Would highly recommend to treat yourself if you are visiting Santiago de Compostela! Staff is attentive, professional, the grounds are stunning, food is wonderful. An easy 10 minute drive to the town! Enjoyed my visit.

Amazing hotel. So very comfortable and relaxing. The hotel has a wonderful eclectic ambiance with nic nacs in the reception, salon and corridors from ornaments, art, clothing etc and most for sale. The gardens were so beautiful, full of flowers and the sounds of water from a myriad fountains and a stream. The rooms were very stylish and extremely comfortable. The spa was wonderful with probably the best massage we have experienced. There was also a floatarium with Dead Sea salts that was very relaxing. The hydro therapy pool with accompanying sauna, steam and ice rooms were fantastic. All in all a hotel we would love to revisit.

Nice hotel with friendly staff! Nice breakfast was included. The nice thing is they have a pool, but it felt a little bit off. Just a few beds available and all the other guests need to sit on chairs.

Beautiful old paper mill turned high end boutique hotel. The hotel staff was nice and accommodating and spoke English. The regular rooms with twin beds were small and cramped but we got upgraded to a king bed suite which was beautiful. The grounds are kept well and stunning. Super cool place to stay. Just 10 minutes away from the cathedral and old town Santiago.
