We walked up from St Anton for lunch here in March (2018). It was very, very special. ||||The weather was great and we ate on the terrace - fabulous view. No expense has been spared in the design and construction. But real pleasure is in the welcoming staff: they make you feel like an old, dear friend they've been waiting for. And the food... so wonderful. Plus the menu is a top-class blend of traditional and modern, every fork-full a taste of heaven. We had ravioli, and beef slices in broth. Great advice on the excellent wine selection from our waiter.||||It IS expensive, so better wear your spending trousers (the ones with the extra big wallet-pocket). But for a special treat, once during a week of skiing, it is not to be missed.||||Gault-Millau Hotel of the Year 2018, not surprising. I'd love to stay here for a few days sometime - after I've won the lottery!
