Hotel Tannenhof (St. Anton am Arlberg, Tyrol) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The century-old Hotel Tannenhof might be the most famous historic hotel in the Austrian ski town of St. Anton am Arlberg, but that’s not to say its present-day appeal is built on nostalgia. A thorough reconstruction has left its interiors looking contemporary, and that’s not the only change — today’s Tannenhof is a remarkably luxurious affair, containing a mere seven suites, as well as a luxe little spa and a gastronomic restaurant serving “creative Alpine cuisine.” For the full experience, arrive via private helicopter at the St. Anton heliport, where you’ll be met by the Tannenhof’s Maserati." - Tablet Hotels

From the food, to service, to the environment The Tannenhof Hotel screams tranquility. Having experienced their 6 course set menu during the winter of 24/25. I cannot speak more highly of their culinary experience. Each course carefully crafted with delicate yet explosive flavour. The devil is in the detail and the Tannenhof will seduce you with cocktails and wines. Dog Friendly? More like Dog Heaven! His own bed provided and with every course, a treat for my Mudi friend was delivered by their lovely staff.||Summer is no different, Negroni's are flowing, food is flourishing. Their terrace transports you to the true serenity of the Austrian Alps. |An experience which should not be missed with competitive pricing for the memories you're left with.

I have stayed in dozens of 5 star hotels around the world and have never written a review, positive or negative; however, this time I felt compelled to write one. From the moment we walked in and throughout our stay we were treated almost like being part of the family. The food was outstanding, the amenities clean, organized and the attention to detail was phenomenal. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back

To say this is was one of the best stays of our lives is an understatement. The hotel staff could not have been more gracious, organized and service-oriented. The hotel itself was stunning, with just 7 rooms, an incredible spa and Michelin-star-worthy food options. Given that there are only a few pet-friendly hotels at this level of service we were initially hesitant as to what the experience would be, however the staff went above and beyond to make our 3 dogs feel at home - they even have their own hotel dog, "Heidi", who is wonderful! We cannot wait to visit again and have been recommending "Hotel Tannenhof" to all our friends and family that intend on staying in the area. Thank you so much to all the team!

Of the many 5 star hotels we’ve stayed at, Tannenhof really stands out. Everything was truly exceptional - the room, spa, and most of all the unmatched service. Every single person at Tannenhof was 10 out of 5 stars in terms of being warm, friendly, and helpful. This is the best hotel experience we’ve had. We can’t wait to come back.

We visited the restaurant at Tannenhof. The food was amazing. Everything was beautifully served and very tasteful. Tried everything from fish, veal, entrecôte, vegetarian. Everything was a great experience. The waitress, Beatrix, made the experience even better. Great service, good wine pairing. Prices very reasonable.

the hotel offers service at the highest level! Every wish is read from your lips. We arrived and were given a tour of the hotel as well as a welcome drink and a refreshing towel and some christmas cookies. The chauffeur service is always included - for every room category. We were given such a warm welcome by the boss and all the employees. the rooms are all 80 qm and above. the beds can used as twin beds and as king beds. the spa ist a dream! The outdoor sauna is made of solid wood and stands outside with a view of nature. The breakfast is served at your table and is of the highest quality. I will recommend this hotel definitly! the best winter hotel i have ever visited!!

We walked up from St Anton for lunch here in March (2018). It was very, very special. ||||The weather was great and we ate on the terrace - fabulous view. No expense has been spared in the design and construction. But real pleasure is in the welcoming staff: they make you feel like an old, dear friend they've been waiting for. And the food... so wonderful. Plus the menu is a top-class blend of traditional and modern, every fork-full a taste of heaven. We had ravioli, and beef slices in broth. Great advice on the excellent wine selection from our waiter.||||It IS expensive, so better wear your spending trousers (the ones with the extra big wallet-pocket). But for a special treat, once during a week of skiing, it is not to be missed.||||Gault-Millau Hotel of the Year 2018, not surprising. I'd love to stay here for a few days sometime - after I've won the lottery!

Tannenhof is a luxury hotel with 6 suites and one super-suite, with a top class gourmet restaurant (18/20 by Gault & Millau). The team of the hotel make every effort to let you feel pampered and comfortable. The suite we stayed was very large (I guess 70-80 sqm) and superbly decorated. We had our small dog with us and also with her they have been extraordinary. You can even use one of the two Maserati they have for guests...||The restaurant is top level! A place to keep in mind if you want to relax and being pampered...thanks to the wh9e team and to ||The owner, Alex, that also speak a perfect Italian...

Yelp
Small but mighty. The Tannenhof has only a handful of rooms but provides an impressive service worthy of its 'five star superior' categorization (apparently all hotels in EU are rated based on the level of service they provide). The hotel is fairly new, I believe construction was in 2011. The decor is contemporary but warm and a roaring fire is just a match strike away. Breakfast is provided daily and they tailor to your preferences and remember what you like. The restaurant is open to the public in the evenings and does a nice job, but expect the meal to take a long time over several small courses (about 3 hrs). The Tannenhof isn't slope side, but they will drop you off and pick you up from the nearby base of St. Anton which is only 5 mins away. If you'd like to ski Lech it's about a 30 min drive, but it's still easy access via their in-house car and drivers. The spa is wonderful, with a beautiful pool, steam room and sauna. Massage is available starting at 100 Euros for 60 mins. Should you be looking for a relaxing and luxurious ski getaway, You can't go wrong with the Tannenhof.

Yelp
Went there at the end of January and basically had the hotel for ourselves. Great service and amazing room, I guess it could be closer to the slopes but the staff is always there to drop you off and pick you up. The restaurant is great, although dinner is a little slow. Not a cheap place, but worth it.
