It's like a slice of Palm Springs in Houston. If you could use three words to describe the crowd...Team Spring Break. Thoughts on your room?We splurged on the French Connection Suite, one of the themed Magnificent Seven Suites, which boasts sexy decor, marble accents in the bathroom, and a cozy balcony and sitting area. The poodle statue next to the toilet is a whimsical touch. How about the little things, like mini-bar, or shower goodies. Any of that noteworthy?In addition to free wifi and a comfy robe, there are C.O. Bigelow toiletries and complimentary teas, coffees, and treats. Is the room service worth it? What should we order?Should you decide to opt for a lazy morning of breakfast in bed, the cut-above room service menu offers dishes like house beet-cured salmon tartine, with filone batard, créme fraîche, avocado, egg, shaved red onion, capers, and sprout ($17). Any standout staff members?The bartender at the pool bar keeps service efficient and friendly.
