Houndstooth Saloon

First time hanging out in the Wrigleyville area. Went with some friends to Houndstooth Saloon. Great atmosphere. We had a great waitress that made sure we had drinks and a clean table and our order was taken fast and correctly. The food was great. My son had their famous burger and really enjoyed it. The buffalo chicken nachos are great well worth the try.

This place was great. The pretzel is a must get and the chicken sandwich was decent. The “award winning burger” was alright at best. They have lots of deals throughout the week. Will be coming back for wing Monday ! @snapposteat.repeat

Stumbled across this gem while waiting for Hutch down the road to give us a table. Long story short I am glad Hutch never called us back because this place was awesome. We happened to stumble across the Griswold Christmas pop-up which was hilariously well done. Beyond that the service was fast and friendly with delicious brunch foods to boot. Don't bother waiting for Hutch, come here instead.

Great place for a Bama game or a meal! All you can eat fish fridays going on right now. Everyone I’ve ever seen working here has been super pleasant and accommodating. Good community outreach with events, and good daily specials. Can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu food-wise, but I’ve mostly just visited for a couple beers on game day. Houndstooth rocks!

There is a good vibe at Houndstooth Saloon. The food was innovative and I love the different names of the food. What struck me was the delicious seasoned fries, the fried pickles, and the sauces. Check it out!

Came to Houndstooth Saloon on a Tuesday to experience Taco Tuesday! Every week they offer 4 standard tacos + 1 specialty taco, each for $2. They really hit the spot and I will definitely be back! The staff was friendly and we had a really nice time. Only thing to note is the outdoor seating is below the L, so there is frequent trains going through. Not a big deal to me, but something to know!

Really fun southern bar!! The drinks and food are good! It is tight in here and gets way too crowded! Obviously there is a reason for it being so crowded all the time! It is a fun bar!! Love what they did for christmas! Griswolds! I love National Lampoons Christmas vacation! 🥳

I came Sunday afternoon with some friends for a post beach drink and really enjoyed Dad's place. It felt very much like your typical Chicago pseudo-dive bar aesthetic but they executed the vibe well. I came on a Sunday afternoon and I really enjoyed how their windows open up to enjoy the nice weather. I also hear they have a fun Karaoke night which I need to check out! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made a clear effort to keep the bar tidy. I also appreciated how the bar felt very welcoming to everyone inside- there was a diversity of people from older folks watching the game, to gays enjoying a nice day. Truly a reflection of the diversity of lakeview and it was nice to see a bar where everyone seemed welcomed and comfortable with each other. I believe this is the first week of operations so the kitchen had not yet opened but they graciously offered free snack mix to go with drinks. I hope they invest in good quality food- a nice burger and fries would have me easily become a regular. I'm surprised someone gave it 1 star but reading their review it seems like they were trying to make a political statement vs give a fair assessment. 5 Stars- a great option to watch the game, meetup with friends, or just enjoy a nice afternoon. I hope to be back soon.

Decent bar! Service was super friendly, good looking place. Prices were a little high for me but it's a brand new place! Not sure about the other place had to shut down just for the same thing to open up again

Ahh! This used to be Houndstooth Saloon. Remember that! This is the same people that's behind Mom's Place that's on the Near Northside. I had a Malibu Caribbean Mule. The staff and service is wonderful.

Missing the prior bar Houndstooth but this one is alright. It's a bit overpriced but they did some nice stuff with renovations to the site. We might be back but it's hard to justify the price for the mediocre atmosphere and overall value.
