Gwen Antonette Quin (Tonette)

I went here in 2022, but never left a review on it. However, here it is now as I've remembered.
5 stars because of the beautiful scenery, history, and overall peaceful vibe of the place. There are just a few things to keep in mind if you are a foreigner. (Well, much like me.)
FOR THOSE PLANNING TO GO:
1. They don't really speak English
2. Getting here is a bit difficult, as the language barrier kinda gets worse and worse, but it's definitely doable.
3. If you join a tour guide around the house, she (at least in our case) will not speak English.
4. You CAN get your own copy of George Sand's published works!
(SIDENOTE: To get to Nohant in the first place, you will be dropped off in the middle of a field, with a small sign. Nohant does NOT have a big entrance to the town)
OVERALL: Should you go?
If you are a fan of Chopin and George Sand's lives together, yes. However, it is also best that you look up Sand's children, Solange And Maurice. Just knowing their backgrounds will be useful, and will make your expereince better.
If you aren't a fan of Chopin and Sand, you might find it boring. (The blue room in the pictures below is Sand's room, where she died.)
