"House of Kabob has a menu with more replay value than your dad’s favorite Steely Dan album. Both the chicken kubideh and lamb sultani platters give you a substantial amount of meat and saffron-kissed rice for around $20, but every option we’ve tried here tastes delicious (and can be stretched into at least three meals). The huge space is also somewhere you can have a low-key lunch or dinner, take in the smell of sizzling lamb, and settle into booths so comfortable you could fall into REM sleep, dreaming of char marks. photo credit: Christen Clemens" - Carlo Mantuano

I've had the pleasure of working with House of Kabob more times than I can count, and every time, it's been an absolute pleasure! From their staff to their food, everthing seems to simply be top notch! Whether it’s for a small gatherings or larger events, the quality, consistency, presentation and professionalism have remained top tier every single time! The food is always on point; flavorful, rich, delicious, fresh, and generous. Their koobideh is juicy and perfectly seasoned, the chicken kabob is tender and fragrant with saffron, and the rice is consistently fluffy with just the right buttery finish. My favorite however is thier Albalo and Adidas Polo. Its cooked at the level of perfection, evertime with flavors that water my mouth as I'm writing about it! Everything from the appetizers to the mains is thoughtfully prepared and full of authentic flavor. The food feels balanced, rich, clean and puts a huge smile after eating! What really takes it over the top is their fruit station setup. It been absolutely stunning! Carved melons, sculpted pineapples, and arrangements that look like something out of a luxury chef’s magazine. It becomes the focal point of the event every time, and guests always ask who did it. It feels like it's not just a food display, it’s an art piece! Their creativity and selection on different types of teas they offer was also something very unique and hit the right spot. The staff that go out for events are kind, polite, reliable and increliable! They show up on time, come prepared, clean up after themselves and take pride in what they do. Even last minute changes, are always accommodated with a great attitude. This is the kind of restaurant that doesn’t just meet expectations, they set a new bar! It’s rare to find that level of reliability, quality and professionalism combined. Easily one of the best in Southern California! I highly recommend working with them for catering or any of your events or simply go visit their resturant!

Google
The food is good without question. Need to finalize the sauces issue as there are none. Kebab is good with tomato sauce. Certainly not with ketchup. The portion is huge, which is also a plus. Rather recommend it than not. Visit this restaurant and make your own opinion.

Google
The food was very average, but their price was crazy expensive😳 $72 for two plates!?? I didn't even leave a tip. It's crazy how they think it's ok to charge $35 for two skewers off cobideh with the rice and a little bit of a salad next to it instead of all rice is $3 extra, and for one tomato $1 next to the kobideh which it should be served on the side as free add on. I would not recommend this place; there are plenty of other places that serve authentic Persian food. What they don't charge you for the price of stake in Maestro, while serving you mediocre food. Very disappointing!

Google
Still serving raw kebab after multiple requests to cook it properly. Clearly they don’t care. I’m done ordering from here.”

Google
It’s an intimate location seats maybe 20 people. The food is amazing and over the years the service has gotten so much better. Our favorite waitress is leaving so that might hurt the service that they finally got to 5 stars. All in all great place to eat in or take out. The food is prepared with care.

Google
This small understated restaurant, serves amazing Persian food, beyond one’s expectations. The meat in every dish, very tender and packed with flavor. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The price and service were great as well. This is one restaurant, you must visit, when in vicinity of Irvine.

Google
I had Baghali Polo here and that was one of the greatest dishes I've ever had. Soooo soft and fragrant rice with super tender lamb. I'll definitely visit again before I leave Irvine.

Google
Really fantastic food! The menu is a bit pricy around dinner, but the prices are well deserved for both the taste and portions you're getting. Seriously you will leave a very happy customer if you can clear your plate. Our only disappointment was they were completely out of all of their deserts when we got there, but otherwise will definitely be going back!

Yelp
Food was really good. Ambiance was good. Just a couple things to work on. Your guests should never have an empty cup of water during the whole dinning period. We had a party of 15 there today for lunch and not one of our water cups was refilled. My uncle had to ask twice for a hot tea refill. Waitress was really nice and polite but that's one big thing she needs to fix.

Imran s.

Yelp
+5/5 Ordered takeout for lunch. Food was piping hot and the portions were large . Quality of the koobideh was good and the lubia polo was one of the best in OC. Recommended

Yelp
Time after time again, food is delicious. Service was impeccable. Restaurant is small but cozy and clean. We will always be back for the food and atmosphere. 10/10!!!

Yelp
I came here with my uncle mom and sister after we were at Irvine spectrum and looking for a Persian food restaurant! This place came up with good rating and I figured why not! It's a really small restaurant but it's a gem! The children barag was amazing!! So tender and juicy! The kobideh was phenomenal! We also had the kushk betnjan and it was just as Amazing! Highly recommend this place! Service Was fantastic! Will definitely return here and recommend it to friends and family

Ricardo A.

Yelp
Quality of food, attention to detail service and ambiance this Persian restaurant is a fantastic choice when it comes to family friendly cuisine.

Yelp
The Food is good and tasty, however the service is not good, needs a lot of improvement,

Shirin D.

Yelp
Me and my husband were there on the 1st day of January 25 and we ordered 2 meals, Beef soltani and Shirin polo with boneless tights chicken kabab(with offer of the server). Both dishes were so well marinated and tastythe best Persian food I tried around south OC in last couple of months. The restaurant is a small place and tables are very close but the food quality is the best. Thank you.

Peter S.

Yelp
Great food and plenty of it. Needed some food to cater a business lunch they not only delivered. But everyone got full

Kristine Cross P.

Yelp
Wow! Why did I not try this place sooner! This is the BEST Persian Resto I've ever had... like the meat is just so tender that melts in your mouth, very flavorful and juicy! The Ambiance inside feels like home with well decorated walls and fresh plants. The Service is great... the waiter explains what their popular ones, the owner was actually watering the plants that is so awesome like everyone just helps each other. I and husband will definitely come back here again and spread the word! Viewers this is a MUST try and its worth every penny, as the quality and cost is very much affordable... huge savings if u dont finish take it home! Keep it up you guys! Kudos!

Yelp
Cozy, comfortable restaurant with good service and most importantly, delicious, high quality Persian food! Everything was so well cooked! The koobideh were tender and perfectly seasoned. This place introduced me to chicken koobideh and I am hooked! I would totally order the 1:1 beef and chicken koobideh again I also really enjoyed the onions and sumac (great compliment to the rich taste of the koobideh). ^update, I did order both again for delivery a few weeks later and the food kept well and was still very tasty!

Alyssa C.

Yelp
Just a no frills, cozy Persian spot nestled near Jam Jam and Siam Station in Irvine. Ordered the dolemeh (grape leaves stuffed with rice) and House Combo (boneless chicken kabob and kabob koobideh) for lunch. Dolemeh fell apart nicely and was a nice snack. Unless you're super hungry, a plate is shareable so my dad and I divvied up the plate. They give out complimentary lavash bread and butter before your meal comes out to ease your hanger. The chicken?? Juicy. Koobideh (ground beef)?? Tender and very savory. There's lime that you NEED to squeeze onto the kabobs to enhance the flavor. Coming back to try their tadig and lamb kabobs.

Lance N.

Yelp
I was recommended to try this restaurant by a friend, and it did not disappoint. I rated it a 4 out of 5 as the pita break was a little dry and deflated. I was also hoping to get some humus with my to go order, as I read they serve it when you dine in. So that could have been a misunderstandings on my part. Overall, I would definitely go back again. I had the Kabob Soltani in beef and it was flavorful, with plenty of rice. As a side I also picked up their Kashk O Bademjon and a house salad. I always enjoy a good eggplant dish like this, as it was nicely seasoned. When it came to the house garden salad, I wish I had more dressing, as it was pretty good. So next time I'll have to ask for a bit extra dressing. I'll have to try something different, but you can be sure there will be a next time. So enjoy!!!

Kat B.

Yelp
The portions are pretty small here for the price. The food is good, but way overpriced. Just be aware.

Leah K.

Yelp
Favorite place to eat! The food is always amazing & the service is excellent. Family has been ordering from here since the pandemic & we finally came in to eat at the restaurant & definitely not disappointed. The kabob plates have so much food, we always have delicious leftovers for the next day.

Anna L.

Yelp
I forgot to take pictures of my food but I got the beef kabob and it was so good! It came with rice, grilled tomatoes/ jalapeño. The service is great.. the server had a few recommendations. If you're craving Mediterranean food, check it out.

Roxana G.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the customer service was exceptional. I used their catering services for a large family get together and couldn't have been happier! Thanks so much!

Eric S.

Yelp
The House of Kabob is the go-to spot for me and my gf! Chicken shish kabob plate with rice or sometimes when we're trying to be good, we sub the rice for salad. The salad isn't anything special, but if you're looking to reduce the carbs you can get it with salad. There is also an option to add salad to the plate which used to be a $2 added charge. We've had lots and lots of chicken shish kabobs from restaurants all over OC, but the House of Kabob wins in terms of flavorful and tender chicken. The chicken texture is interesting at times because some days the chicken is very moist and easy to chew. Other days the chicken is still flavorful, but the meat has a chewiness to it that isn't off-putting but it is a distinct difference. We share this one plate as there is so much rice and we call them napkins, but their bread cut like small tortillas in a pizza slice shape. Squeeze some lime, sprinkle Sumac and have a little heat from their green chili and enjoy a wonderful chicken kabob meal. Well, the green chili is there sometimes and probably depending on how they feel for the day it's a whole pepper, a half pepper or no pepper at all! I save the raw onion they provide to make fried rice or some other dish. I enjoy coming here on a weekly basis Tina, one of the servers now knows me and my order as soon as I call in. Try out the chicken shish kabob and let me know what you think!

Yelp
Best Parisian food in Irvine Good service Modern ambiance Many tables I recommend it to for groups For sure going again

Maheen K.

Yelp
This place got super packed super fast on a random Thursday for lunch. The parking can be a little hard, so if you are lucky, you will find one right away. They don't take reservations for smaller groups. I ordered the lunch beef shish with a substitution for the normal basmati rice with the adas polo rice (this one has raisins, lentils and dates and is a little sweeter). The size of the plate was on par with most other Persian places but they only gave one skewer of the meat. I am assuming the dinner portion would include two skewers. The rice was good but I have had better. The main part, the shish kabob was a disappointment. It was tender but lacked any real flavor. I tried my coworkers chicken shish which was much better in every way. We had hummus for our appetizer but that was also on the average side. The price for the amount we received was also on the smaller side. The bread that was served with this was a little thin and sweet.

Franky L.

Yelp
Went to grab dinner since I was out in the area.. food is so good.. service was good, the place is clean and nice lighting families and small group of people were there.. seating is available outside.. zafarani kabob which is great...

Summer B.

Yelp
I wish I had taken a picture, but honestly it didn't even cross my mind- I began digging into the food as soon as it arrived. The food was exactly what my family and I were craving. I had the chicken and beef koobideh, and it was delicious. With it we drank the hot tea, which was phenomenal and paired well with the food. To top it off we had the baklava, which was heavenly. Everything here was of quality, which is hard to find anymore. The service and ambience are what really puts the icing on the cake here. The waitress was so sweet and helpful. She answered all of our questions when wanting to try new foods and desserts. We also really loved the inside of the place, it felt so homelike and comfy. This will definitely be our new spot for Persian food. Thank you!

Yelp
I had HOK'a food for the first time catered at a party. We had the koobideh, chicken kabob, baghali polo, ghormeh sabzi, tahdig, and Shirazi salad. My favorite was the ghormeh sabzi followed by koobideh. The ghormeh sabzi is the best I've had served at a restaurant, tasted as good as homemade. 5 star! The flavor of the koobideh was great but it was a bit chewy, perhaps because it was reheated in the oven. I'm sure the kabobs taste better and are more tender when consumed fresh at the restaurant, the chicken had become dry and not as flavorful. Baghali polo was decent, compared to others I've had I give it a 3.8. Shirazi salad was very fresh and I was very happy that the ratio of raw onion was great compared to the tomatoes and cucumbers. 5 star! My least favorite was the tahdig, I'd give it a 1 star. The tahdig was thick and very hard, we couldn't cut it with regular utensils let alone chew on it without the fear of damaging our teeth. Overall food was really good and I would love to come to the restaurant to try the kabob served fresh out of their kitchen.

Yelp
I'm back and forth on this place. I actually only dined here because the Thai restaurant two doors down was packed and it was a bit to chilly to sit outside. This place at noon had several open tables inside so my friend and I opted to dine here instead. Service felt a bit chilly. She brought out a little basket of pita bread triangles with butter but there were no plates. My friend ordered hummus and eggplant dip to start and those were brought out without any extra pita, which I thought was strange because we only had like four little triangles left from the original basket. Do people eat hummus and eggplant dip without pita? Still no plates with the dips so my friend had to flag down the server to request plates. As far as the entrees, maybe I should have just gotten the kabob koobideh but since that is what I usually get at Persian/Mediterranean restaurants, but I thought I would change it up and try something new... so I opted for the eggplant stew which came with rice and a thick piece of tadig (a bit too thick and hard for me to actually enjoy so unfortunately this was wasted.). The stew itself was just alright... nothing I would yearn to order again. My friend's flat cut chicken kabob which was served with rice and a broiled tomato was huge and looked great. I had a piece and it was nicely prepared. I wish I had gotten this instead. The restaurant ended up filling up later into the lunch hour and felt cramped and really loud. The tables feel a bit small for the size of the entree plates. Overall it was just ok. It might be a place to order take-out from if I'm feeling like kabobs and am in the area(?) but not someplace I would go and meet someone for lunch or dinner.

feerouzeh S.

Yelp
The Zereshk Polo was fantastic! It was the best that I have ever had! The chicken was fresh too. The service was fair and timely too!

DA F.

Yelp
The food is good especially the chicken barg It's juicy n flavorful. Other dishes are decent too. Something that's senseless n anti culinary is to serve cold, refrigerator-flavored pita wedges with frozen hard butter as appetizers . Hey guys that's inedible, you are a restaurant n should know better. Watch out for the bill: they charged us one iced tea too many. Buyer beware.

Aaditya S.

Yelp
Great good for good price. They have good selection of kebabs and various side dishes. Their plates have decent amount of food on them and they are easily shareable. They lack a little in service but that's just cause I think they didn't have enough staff at that time. They are a tiny restaurant but with a good over ambiance. Our food was well cooked and non of our kebabs lacked flavor. They all came with rice and free flat bread with butter. They also have decent vegetarian options for all my vegetarian buddies. The koobideh was cooked to utter perfection and so was every plate of kebabs we ordered. Pay them a visit and you won't regret it.

Susan P.

Yelp
I purchased the kabob koobideh. The food tasted burnt and oily. Would not purchase from house of kabob again.

Hooman A.

Yelp
I had an issue with this restaurant a couple of years ago and, unfortunately, nothing has improved since. A friend picked this place because it was near AMC, and we wanted to catch a movie after. We arrived around 7 PM on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was completely empty. I should have known better than to go to a Persian restaurant that's empty on a Saturday night. When our appetizer order came, the server brought the wrong dish (Maust Khiar instead of Maust Moosier). After lightly serving a small amount onto a plate, we let the server know about the mistake. Instead of apologizing, he said we had "touched" the food and would need to reorder and pay again! Both dishes are yogurt, so it's not easy to recognize just by looking, but how else would we have known without tasting it? Plus, 95% of the dish was untouched. Our entire bill would have been around $200, but we only paid for the food that was on the table, mostly untouched, and then left. I won't be coming back, this place clearly doesn't value its customers.

Tim C.

Yelp
Very good small Persian restaurant. The food is amazing & the staff is very pleasant. I Highly recommend.

Misha K.

Yelp
Best koobideh I've had in my life 10 stars Get the dinner portion (has 2) Bless the owner and his wonderful staff

Pravo S.

Yelp
I called to ask about the Friday special menu. I was asking what is the special menu for Friday she said we serve lunch and we serve dinner and she started to get rude. I told her I'm asking about what do you have on the website? She was extremely rude unprofessional what kind of service if you don't have a trained will behaved workers disappointing. Even when I go there, I don't like their attitude

Alicia W.

Yelp
This place was amazing . I've never had Persian food and it was seasoned so well. I enjoyed my rice as well. The salad was fresh and green and that's something that is hard to find. Veggies are fresh and colorful. I would definitely come back. My co workers always eat at the kabob house and this was my first time trying! The inside and outside is beautiful. Best food ever

Eenika D.

Yelp
Honestly, after a long day of working, coming here was not the move. We get there and there are many open tables and we aren't sat for about 10 mins, which in all honesty is not that big of deal. This is what is, the attitude towards our table and another table of POC from the employees. All the employees were talking so nicely to everybody except us. Everytime we asked for anything it was as if they were doing us a favor. Service like that is extremely unprofessional and just plain out rude. Not to mention how claustrophobic the whole place is, I couldn't move my chair back because someone was sitting not even 4 feet behind me. Let's talk about the food, it was mid. It kinda lacked flavor. We ordered the mast o musir and it was okay, my sister thought it was a bit salty. We also got chicken koobideh, beef koobideh, and a chicken koobideh wrap. The chicken was soft which was good but it wasn't something I would come back. My sister and I had very upset stomachs after eating here

Kev O.

Yelp
This place was highly recommended to me 2-3 years ago, but I never made it out here, till now, and I am so glad I finally got to try it out. The HOK is a nice little cozy and casual full-service bistro style eatery...clean and has a pleasant ambiance with their cute wall-filled decor. We came at about 11.30am on a Sunday, had expected a crowd, but no, the place was empty. However, it was clear that people are still staying home and ordering out as evidenced by the constant stream of Uber Eats or Grub Hub drivers walking in and out and take out orders piled up on tables all around us. This was what was keeping all the staff here super busy.....so we got a bit nervous that they would be focusing on them and not us dine in guests. There was a bit of uncertainty as to what to expect since this was our first time here. Were we going to get good and friendly service? Would the food take forever due to all the takeout orders? Would the food be fresh and tasty? Well, all our nervousness was for nothing as this place came through with flying colors on all counts. We went ahead and ordered the Hummus as appetizer....and got a basket of freshly made pita bread, the Chicken Koobideh ....strips of ground boneless chicken breast of chicken, and the Chicken Soltani.....combination of strips of ground chicken and marinated charbroiled boneless chicken breast. For one of our dishes we ordered it without rice and just salad only, and the other we did half rice and half salad for an extra $2. Oh boy! Everything was sooooooo good! The hummus was so fresh and perfectly prepared, and with that sprinkle of paprika on top really went well with the chickpea flavor....yummee.....and it wasn't salty at all like many other places. The chicken dishes were soooooo good too! Both styles of chicken were hot and freshly out of the oven.....so moist, so juicy, and so delicious....without being overly spiced and salted!...it was all done just right to our liking. And that rice...wow, so soft, fluffy, and fragrant.....and with some butter, ooooooh! Yum! The dish came with a chargrilled tomato and green jalapeño pepper.....nice.....really went well with each bite of chicken. Yea, for a while there, the guy behind the counter (looked like the owner) counting receipts and preparing their opening, seemed too busy to make eye contact and pay attention to us...and looked so serious...I thought oh oh. But then, as he walked by our table and happened to ask how the food was, I said "wonderful"....and that really put a smile on his face......and a sigh of relief on mine :) Great place for delicious and perfectly prepared Persian food, and very good and friendly service by our server. This has now become another of our absolute favorite Persian restaurants and will most definitely be back.

Michael S.

Yelp
The Baden jam was way to garlicky. And i threw up my meal of kebab barg about an hour after finishing. I won't go here again

Pady G.

Yelp
Amazing Persian food very traditional and always great customer service. I would recommend to try to everyone

Max H.

Yelp
Too expensive for the service and ambiance! This place is small and tight! Food is good but you are paying upscale restaurant prices for an almost fast food ambiance! Two kabab dishes and two soft drinks $65!!!! Not coming back!

Kamelia V.

Yelp
The food is great but the service is so bad. The staff act like it's such a chore to provide any kind of service.

Randall M.

Yelp
Best and juiciest Lamb I've ever had. Wonderful service, very authentic cuisine. Highly recommended!

Yelp
HO HUM ! My wife and I decided to give this little Persian place a second chance after a disappointing first visit a few weeks ago. WHAT ! And you might well say why did I give it a 5 star rating on our first visit ? Well we first spotted this place when we enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Siam Station Thai Street Food next door about 2 months ago. Funnily enough our new neighbors at our new address in Irvine are Persian so we decided to try this Persian place for lunch one day. SO SO ! On our first visit we ordered Lavash Wraps and sadly the lavash bread ( usually soft and pillowy ) was very dry which spoilt the whole dining experience. We have enjoyed very good lavash wraps a few times at a number of restaurants and the ones here did not measure up. Also the vibe was as dead as a cracker....we were the only diners in the whole restaurant. But being a local business I decided to be kind and rate them 5 stars for maybe being an off day. THIS TIME ! We rolled up at 12.40pm on Saturday to have lunch here. Again the restaurant was completely empty except for a woman and her child dining on the outdoor patio. NOT GOOD ! We don't usually dine at empty restaurants because that's not a good omen. However we were here to try other stuff on their menu. A smiling server named Rimsha welcomed us in a friendly manner when we stepped inside. First up we asked for glasses of iced water which came out promptly. The listed items on the menu were very hard to decipher in English terms that we could understand. We asked Tina the server for her help to choose something off the main menu. Not knowing anything about Persian cuisine I asked Tina for something spicy...Persians don't eat spicy food was her reponse. My wife chose ADDAS POLO ( Raisins, lentils, saffron, mixed with basmati rice, served with boiled chicken ) while I went for LUBIA POLO ( Basmati rice mixed with green beans, tomato and diced beef, served with one skewer of ground beef kebab + shirazi salad with dinner ). In the meantime a complimentary serve of HUMMUS with Pita Bread arrived on our table. OH NO ! The hummus tasted fine but the pita bread was dry as can be. We were still the only diners in the restaurant....that's a worry. Our meals were brought out by a smiling Rimsha..the serves looked enormous. I was pretty happy with my Lubia Pollo..lots and lots of basmati rice with Middle Eastern flavor similar to the taste of Himalayan Biryani which I have enjoyed many times. The skewer of ground beef kebab tasted good as expected and I had a complete baked tomato to deal with....never seen one like this before. I also had a small side of SHIRAZI SALAD ( combination of fresh chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, parsley, onion, and our house dressing...olive oil, fresh lemon juice, black pepper ). A huge green chili pepper came with my dish which I assumed ( wrongly ) would be a pretty mild chili pepper given that Tina said Persians don't eat spicy food. BIG MISTAKE ! I tried the green chili pepper and nearly blew up my tastebuds....it was as hot as a Ghost Pepper. YIKES ! I left it well alone after that nasty bite. At one point we saw Josef the owner whizz straight past us into the kitchen and then zoom back out again with an armful of cooked food for his lunch no doubt without even a wink, a nod or a smile in our direction...his only customers. In the meantime my wife was trying to plow though a mountain of basmati rice overloaded with raisins...too much. BAD NEWS ! Her boiled chicken was a mixed bag....the leg tasted alright but the breast was quite dry....my wife hardly touched it. Overall a disappointing dining experience I would have to say. I don't enjoy bagging local eateries but I could not recommend this place to anyone ! NOTE - Of course with over 22 million views of my Yelp reviews and pics in 2022 I can tell you what is great !

Leyla M.

Yelp
House of Kabob is one the best Persian resturant that any one can go. They have very delicious food and the service is great! Tina is one of the best in that place with her excellent service and hospitality .

Trung N.

Yelp
3.5 stars I stopped by for an early dinner. Entrees here are pretty pricey, but maybe these prices are just the new norm given the rate of inflation. Most entrees run around $20 bucks, but portions are generous enough to offset the cost. I opted for the chicken koobideh ($16.50) which comes with basmati rice, a charbroiled tomato and pepper. Chicken koobideh is simply boneless ground chicken. While the chicken was very moist, it lacked flavor - it could have used a little more oomph of some sort. What really helped the dish along was the buttery basmati rice. I didn't know rice could be so, so good, but the rice here was out of this world good. Service was also a little lacking - I had a hard time making eye contact with my waitress and had to physically get up to ask for my check. I liked the rice enough to come back to try another protein option.

Valerie A.

Yelp
We ordered to go on our way home from the beach. We ordered their Kabob House special and hummus. Hummus was so flavorful. You can tell that it is freshly made as the taste was more garlicky than other hummus and very smooth!! Very very good!! The combination meal we got was also very flavorful and tender. It is good for 2-3 people. We were ver satisfied. Next time we will try to dine in.

Matt A.

Yelp
Excellent quality. Excellent service. The best kabob in Orange County. Mr B has been in business well over 30 years and the reason is the ethics and quality.

Diana R.

Yelp
We normally get the house combo and the other combo special and it is plenty of food for us. The flavors are good and we love the rice. We usually have enough rice leftover to have it with other proteins the next day.

Michelle R.

Yelp
Ordered the chicken kabob and the Ghermeh Bademjan Stew. Both were very delicious. The meet in the stew was very tender and the chicken kabob was the best. The people here are very nice offering water for my dog. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
Amazing, amazing kabobs and overall meals! I love the authenticity and feel of the restaurant. Location isn't ideal since it's pretty small but not terrible. Service is good, they are very kind and willing to modify your order with exactly the sides you like. I will continue to come here bc I love kabobs!!

Yelp
Really good option for delicious kebabs! We tried their chicken koobideh, and the first thing my mother commented on is how soft it was. It was filled with flavor and really well cooked. The koobideh was extremely juicy and tasted very authentic. We appreciated their kind staff, their plenty of seating, and their variety of menu options. I could see why this is a good option for catering and would recommend for eating in or carry out!

Yelp
Nice Persian restaurant. I first came to this location for takeout. The food was good (but pricey) still I decided to try this again but this time dining in. My dine in experience was not the best or the worst but the staff definitely needs better customer service skills. After we ordered, they brought out the pita bread basket, which was a nice touch, and I enjoyed the pita bread. However, they did not bring our drinks until our food arrived, which was almost 20 minutes of waiting! And to top it off, they didn't refill our cups once even though we both clearly needed a refill. Needless to say their attentiveness is severely lacking. I would understand if the place was overcrowded but that was not the case. One of the girls was even on her phone, clearly had plenty of down time! Then proceeded to serve herself and have lunch... meanwhile we "the customers" were awaiting a refill SMH. The Food: plates were full (mainly with rice) as you can see on the pictures. The protein portion is small compared to the rice that's on the plate! The flavor was great and the char on the veggies was perfect! Not sure if their salad dressing is house made but it's great! However, there is an upcharge to add salad to your plate $3.00 which I found to be absurd. Again we had to wait for our bill. Not once did the girls come around to check if everything was ok, to refill our drinks, or to provide us with our bill. I would maybe try this restaurant again, but as take out. As always I have provided ratings! Shish Kabob: 8/10 Chicken Kabob: 8/10 Basmati Rice: 9/10 Follow me for more insightful reviews!
