Houston TX Hot Chicken

Service was lacking miserably. The staff was mainly in the back, not aware of the customers. At one point customers were waiting so long at the front, they just went to the back to get the staff. The drinks machine wasn't taken care of. I just wanted water, but eventually even that started giving me some pink drink. The food itself is okay, it's fried chicken it's not magic so I can't rate on that alone. I'd go elsewhere, there are so many good places in this area.

I can’t say enough good things about Houston’s Hot Chicken! The food was absolutely incredible—crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The spice levels were spot on, and the chicken was juicy and tender. The fries were golden and crispy, and the sauces took everything to the next level. But what really made this experience special was Seth. From the moment we walked in, he greeted us with the warmest smile and made sure we felt right at home. You could tell he genuinely cared about every customer, checking in to make sure everything was perfect and even offering recommendations based on our taste preferences. He went above and beyond to make our visit memorable.

Season was dry season on the chicken Nuggets. I thought they were gonna be weird, but overall everything we ordered was delicious 😋 Must try the soft drinks. Triple jam cider 👌

First time trying Houstons hot chicken and it was incredible. The dude serving was a credit to the company. I can't remember his name but we ate there about 3pm. Really passionate about the brand and knows his stuff.

Ate here on a Saturday afternoon in the lovely bar area in the back. The service back there was excellent and I loved my meal. I had ordered the tenders 'Spicy' and they recommended I try multiple flavors, which I'll surely do next time. The HEAT IS REAL - spicy flavor paired with the 'house sauce' had me sweating it out so good! I found the value to be excellent and was very impressed with the quality of meat. Thank you!

Me and my family had a good experience at this location. We got loaded fries they were delicious. The employees at this location work extremely friendly and helpful. We originally just went there so my daughters coulduse the restroom. We decided to get some food because of the happy and friendly demeanor of the staff. The fries were very good with an original taste! Definitely recommend this location.

Food is good, bathrooms are clean. Louisa and Hailey are the sweetest. You feel welcomed each time you visit. Oh and they have a bar in the back

I had the chicken tenders here just a few days before this visit and unfortunately the quality of the chicken was not the same. At this visit my fries were fresh but the chicken was only mildly warm. I mean the two items were no where near the same temp and that’s a huge problem. The tenders in general appeared a bit old and overcooked. I would have given less stars but the customer service was great. However I’d think twice before eating here again because of the food quality this visit.

Stopped by while in the area shopping. I haven't tried Houston TX Hot Chicken before. I'm always down for some wings, tenders, chicken sandwich and lemonades. Today, we ordered the 2 piece honey butter tender meal and their house sauce. Oh my gosh this food is sooo good. The chicken had great flavor and super juicy! The house sauce has a little kick to me since I don't typically eat spicy food, but it was so perfect with the fries and tenders. I'm a sucker for lemonade they have three flavors: strawberry lemonade, blueberry lavender and watermelon lime. I love anything lavender and watermelon so we ordered one of each! Blueberry lavender was definitely my favorite since it's super sweet!!! I love that they offer it as a slushy, too! Can't wait to try that one, too! Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant was clean. Will definitely go back again!

No cups for water? Isn't that required for all restaurants? Regardless, how cheap do you have to be to not have water cups? Also, differences between classic and original, aren't posted, and staff isn't exactly helpful... actually pretty rude. I've tried them before in other states, and service was 1000 times better. Probably not coming back... at least not to vegas locations (where I live). Additional note: we asked if or for mayo or sauce on one sandwich... it has nothing on it. :( More... NO napkins in our to go order! (Cheap or poor service?) :/ Definitely frustrated.

It's been awhile since I've been to Houston Hot Chicken, however my fiance has been craving it hardcore recently so we decided to stop in after a VGK game. While you have to pay for parking at this location, it's very cheap ($1 per hour), so it's not a big deal. This location has a front dining area and a back bar area, however the bar was closed this time. They still had some alcoholic slushies available for purchase if desired (we stuck with water). We opted for the 2 piece and 3 piece tenders with fries, both Spicy. Our food was out in a matter of minutes and we quickly dug in. I've found that the spice level can vary based on the day, but we were both happy with our Spicy tenders. Could they have been a bit more spicy? Yes, but I've made the mistake of ordering up and it's just too much for me. The coating was crispy and the chicken was juicy, just what you'd want from a good tender. The fries are coated in spices and they are always crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, an irresistible combination! Overall this remains a good value for hot chicken in the Vegas area.

After a show in the Arts District last night, I de3cided to get a quick dinner at the new Houston TX Hot Chicken a few doors down from the theatre. I have been to Houston's TX in a couple of different places and this follows the model. After ordering and paying at the counter, you get a number on a stand. You take your plastic glass to the drink area and fill up and then have a seat. In a short time, an employee brings your chicken to the table. I got tenders with extra slaw last night which gives you less French fries. The tenders were done well and were just what I'd expect to get from Houston TX. Service was quick, the food was hot, and it was a pleasant atmosphere. It's probably the smallest Houston TX I've been in. There is a bar area in the rear and some more tables. I left having enjoyed a good later dinner. I'm glad they're here. Another choice for stopping for some food before or after theatre.

After a day of drinking at 4 breweries, we stumbled upon HHC. Chris helped us with our order. We got 10 tenders and 3 fries and a chicken n waffle basket as a reward for downloading the HHC app. Chris suggested the house sauce and ranch. Some of us loved the house sauce and the others loved ranch. The ranch lovers said the house sauce was too sweet. The medium tenders wasn't hot enough for me. But it was plenty hot for everyone else. All 6 of us enjoyed the food. No complaints from anyone. Thank you Chris for helping us with our order and suggestions. Thank you HHC!

Ive tried a lot of hot chicken places and this one is the best! The service was amazing, they were helpful answering questions about the menu as we had never been there before. I had the medium and the spice was perfect for me. I am adding this place to my list of restaurants to come back to everytime I go to Vegas.

I ordered food to go, so my review is based solely on take out. I placed my order online, and it was pretty easy to complete, even with modifications. When I got there to pick up my order, it was ready and the woman who gave me my order was very nice, she even offered me a cup of ice water. I ordered tenders, a sandwich, and fries. The tenders were very big, I could've just ordered one. It was crisp and seasoned well. The sandwich was great. I ordered that in I think it was honey butter, or honey something, either way it was good! The fries were great! My friend and I kept talking about how good the fries were. They were seasoned, crispy on the outside, mushy on the inside, We really enjoyed our food and each of us has gotten food from here again. I would come back just for the fries.

I love that this place stays open late and has a bar in the back. The food and drinks are awesome and I highly recommend the hibiscus alcoholic beverage. This is definitely a place I'd visit again as this was my 2nd time and the service was even better than the first .

It's been a while since my last HHC visit and noticed some changes so I thought I'd leave another review. HHC was a normal stop for me at least monthly for a while. Upon arrival, we had a large group of about 16, we couldn't access the front door due to construction. This wasn't a big deal as we entered through the bar entrance a few feet away. The staff immediately doubled up at the front counter and started interacting with everyone to make them feel welcome and answer any menu questions. Both people working the counter were very friendly and knowledgeable. Upon ordering, I was surprised to see some menu expansion from when they originally opened. A few new combination options and salad options were great to see rather than the basic 3 combos from before. I stuck with my favorite, 3 tender and fries (be sure to add cheese to the fries!) along with a drink. A huge let down was to see they had removed Liquid Death from the menu. I was one of the first to order and grab a seat. The group of 16 moved through pretty quickly and food came out equally fast. I tend to be on the spicier side of the menu when ordering and always order "Spicy" level from HHC. Upon receiving my food, it looked a little lighter colored than normal (the spice makes it darker) and definitely was not as spicy as historically was. I'm not sure if it was a kitchen mix up or a change to the recipe. The quality was still good but maybe a 2 on the scale of spice when it was previously a 6-7 out of 10. Overall: the staff was great, quality was good and a little disappointment but it won't stop me from revisiting.

One of the best up and coming places in downtown LV! Pros - amazing fried chicken with a range of spices and heat. My favorite is the medium but those pepper lovers can go all the way to Houston HOT! This is the ONLY location where they have a full bar and experienced bartenders. They have a wide selection of amazing cocktails and you must get the ones with habanero sauce because it will blow you mind! Cons - none! Definitely check this place out and experience not only one of the best fried chicken but also amazing spicy cocktails!!

It was my first time trying Houston TX Hot Chicken and it was pretty good! I enjoyed the chicken sandwich. It was nice and tender, good size in every bite. It's a bit messy but the best food is the messiest food. The sauce was a bit overpowering since it was drenched in it so I could've used a little less. The slaw and pickles were refreshing in the sandwich. The fries were good but could've used a bit more time to fry along with the seasoning being mixed more evenly. I tried the blueberry lavender lemonade and was pretty refreshing. It was a good mix of sweet and sour. The restaurant itself was very clean and well kept. If you're looking for a good chicken sandwich I would recommend this spot.

Visited the location near the Arts District of downtown Las Vegas. The parking was a bit of a pain, but it wasn't too bad at night. They have a ton of options as far combos with tenders, sandwiches, fries, and an array of drinks. I chatted with the cashier about the spice level and opted to medium. My thoughts were sweet and spicy, not really hot. The tender was thick and juicy. Great piece of meat with very light breading. The sandwich: the bun was buttery and soft. It was nice and pillow-y. Chicken was just as good as the tender with a little bit more sweeter taste due to the bun combo. The pickle was a great crunch and nice bite. The fries have a delicious seasoning that I could only describe as a smokey sweet BBQ spice. Overall; this place was delish. I just don't love the parking. The ambiance is upbeat and lovey.

We never tried HHC ever so we really didn't know what to expect. First off the workers were so good at helping us make a decision. The place is very metro and city style and they have a bar area in the back which was cool. The food was amazing we were made that we shared and didn't order our own.

Loaded fries were good. Spicy very spicy. Lemonade was a mistake. Basically just drinking straight sugar

Love love love this place BUT the woman who brought out the food was not friendly and quite rude. My sandwich had like no coleslaw on it so I asked her for some more. She didn't acknowledge me, say anything, make a face, nothing. But walked away with attitude. So I stood there waiting assuming she was doing something about it. She came back and handed me a side of it and I said thank you so much! She made no face, said nothing, and turned around. When I left, I said, thank you so much as I was leaving. She was talking to the woman who places the order in. The woman who takes the order smiled and said thank you! And the other girl just looked at me and started talking under her breath. Super weird, and not professional. Bad vibes.

Walked into this place and sat at the bar. Our bar tender hailey was great! Made me feel so welcome. The drinks and food was awesome as well so glad we came here, will definitely return

I stumbled on the arts district of Las Vegas during our last trip. I've never seen it before. It is such a cute area with restaurants, bars, and shopping. We saw Houston TX J Hot Chicken and wanted to try it right away. First off all the customer service was amazing!! Every single staff member was sooooo friendly and helpful. Like I've never experienced before. The food was fresh and delicious! I got the chicken tenders in medium and hot. It was spicy and flavorful. My husband had the hot chicken sandwich. We also had the frozen blueberry lavender and hibiscus lemonades. There's a back bar area where we sat. The music was good and the owner actually brought us a free dessert/drink because we asked what it was. I can't remember the name but it was a mix of soft serve and frozen lemonade. I love everything about this place and will definitely return next time I'm in town. It's a must try

Love Houstons! This is our first time at this location and we're digging the vibes. Front dining room is trendy and the semi-hidden back bar is pretty cool! We each had a plain chicken sandwich; I had the honey butter chicken which was sooo dang good and my husband had the medium heat which is his favorite. Fries are always delicious at Houstons, but the ones at this location seem extra tasty. We enjoyed 2 beers while seated in the back bar area. I had the Afterburner Lager which is a collab between HHC & Able Baker and my husband had Sin City Brewing's Amber Lager - both good choices, although the Afterburner was our favorite. Love that we have a great fast food option while brewery & bar hopping in the Arts District! We'll be back... very soon :)

Just what the Arts District needed! A new Houston's location! I have a Houston's close to my house in Henderson but we'll also go to this one when we're barhopping in the downtown area, now that they opened just recently. I just LOVE their chicken sandwiches and blueberry lavender lemonade! They close at 1:00 in the morning on Friday's and Saturday's, so we planned to stop here before going home. We were in the area barhopping after a concert nearby. We strolled in late at night and they weren't too busy. My boyfriend wanted to do take out rather than dining in, which I thoroughly agreed to. I ordered their original chicken sandwich with fries on the side and their blueberry lavender lemonade (made it a slushy for an extra $1). My boyfriend ordered their chicken and waffles with a single chicken tender topped with a pickle and fries on the side. The fries are always seasoned perfectly every time I come here. My sandwich, as always before, was excellent and hit the spot. My boyfriend said that he enjoyed his chicken and waffles and chicken tender. Their food can be a little on the expensive side, but it's worth it! Houston's will always be my one stop for delicious chicken sandwiches!

Family was in town so we stopped by our now third of currently 5 locations. So far HHC don't miss . This location is different because it has a seperate bar area being downtown. I typically buy a chicken sandwich but this time I decided the 3 piece medium that comes with fries and 2 house sauces for $13.99 (same as other locations). My family from that was in town enjoyed it. The service was great and food was on point as usual. This location does not have a free parking lot so its paid parking for about $2/hr. My only wish was that the dining areas were bigger for more customers to sit but they know what they're doing.

Tl;Dr: You don't have to like spice to get something nice. VIBES: 5/5 I am happily greeted every time I show up here. The crowd that find their way in here tends to be a very calm and collected group. Not a bunch of noise, or mess, music blasted at 1000% volume. It's actually a nice spot to be, you could probably post up and do some admin work here if you wanted. Also, the bar is very nice and Miriam is 10/10 the best. VALUE: 5/5 I genuinely like good chicken lmao, so this place is a god send. I do think that the price point for the QUALITY. Damn it's just juicy af and no matter the spice level you get some extremely flavorful chicken. If you like juicy, flavorful, chicken tenders then this is the place to be. SERVICE: 6/5 THE SERVICE HERE IS PHENOMENAL. I think that the leadership here has a firm grip on what it means to connect with your customer, and it is in the DNA of everyone that works here. It's just phenomenal, also an interesting thing to note is that as the spice level increases you still get a tremendous amount of flavor. So it's not just hot chicken, it's flavorful chicken that is spicy.

We really enjoyed our experience here. We got our food quickly and it's a little spendy but the chicken was clean and the tenders were large. The fries were crisp and had a good seasoning on them as well! I was going to give them 4 stars but at the end our party decided to try a tender of the hottest they offer. The employee that brought it out was so good natured, instructed us not to touch it with our bare hands (and provided gloves) then quickly went and grabbed some soft serve to go with it and told us to let him know if we needed more. We definitely ended up needing more and he was happy to grab it for us. What a great experience! Not too noisy of a location either.

Wow what a treat it was to visit Houston TX Hot Chicken. This time I tried the Honey Butter level which has a tiny amount of spice, loved it. But if heat is what you like their hotter levels are sure to make you happy. Hermes, the manager was a pleasure to meet and have him serve us. The chicken tenders are soooooo moist and tender, a perfect match with the crispy fries. Even though they offer many different sauces, my favorite is the house sauce. Be sure to try their House Lemonades, I really enjoyed the Cucumber Watermelon, so refreshing. This location in the art district of Las Vegas has a nice "Chic" vibe that fits right in. Can't wait to go back!!!!

They chicken sandwiches never disappoint. Loved how crispy and juicy they are. I either get their Medium or lift over spice level. You get that little kick and still get to enjoy your food. The restaurant is very clean and I love all the painting they have, it just beautiful!!! The service was excellent!! The staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions of the menu. I ordered a souther salad and it was delicious. They also have different frozen drinks. I wanted to try l frozen lemonade because looks refreshing. They also have a variety of cookies flavored. Absolutely love this little place!!!! I came tonight to get out of the house & get some soup & I must say the Corn tortilla soup is the highlight of the place!!! It's a nice bowl for 5 bucks plus tax. Reminder, if you check in on yelp you get a free 16oz house beer. Chicken is crispy, and seasoned and the monster cookie is delish!!! Margarita is pretty tasty & I enjoyed the strawberry hibiscus frozen lemonade. Possibly too sweet for others liking but I have a bit of a sweet tooth lol. You may have to pay for parking being that it's in the heart of arts district. $2 for 1 hour. But they do have free parking if it's available.

We ordered the original chicken sandwich mild, original chicken sandwich spicy both with tenders and no slaw plus loaded fries. Family friendly. Clean, well kept dining area. Plenty of seating. Yes! This is "BOMB DOT COM" absolutely delicious! It was busy but our orders came out very quick and the food was hot and delicious. Truly recommend to go here! The ding for the 5 star is that the loaded fries came with very little chicken? Maybe it was our mistake for not ordering more chicken? But definitely recommend to try!

Easy to locate the place, on main street. It's very clean from outside and entering. The young lady at the register was very sweet and was very patient with my order. My order was quickly made. My chicken sandwich was so scrumptious I went back to order another one to go for my hotel room lol The strawberry milk shake has so much strawberry flavor and strawberries were sliced also. The cookie crumbl was so good but so should've never chosen strawberry that wasn't the best mix. Next time vanilla.

Location is good. Several areas to park (paid parking throughout). Inside and outside was nice a clean. The staff was nice and friendly, I felt comfortable. I ordered the loaded chicken fries with coleslaw and pickles and a had sandwich and chicken with friends and a pickle lemonade. The prices are decent and the atmosphere was nice and posh. Great place to grab a bit to eat with friends. They have a bar with a nice selection and a on-ramp outside the entrance have a shelf I guess that's what is called where you can stand and eat your meal while you people watch. The food was good and the chicken was moist that that was a plus. I will definitely be back

My kids always take me to the best places! Great stop on Main St.! The food is awesome, service is fast and friendly and I really like the atmosphere. The artwork is fun and quirky! The kids ordered the Original Hot Chicken sandwich, one medium and one honey butter...they left nothing on their plates! I ordered the Fusion Fries with honey butter sauce. Fresh corn and a mango slaw atop super fresh crinkle cut fries. I couldn't finish it all....the portion sizes are good size but not over the top. You get full but don't feel like you need to be rolled out of the restaurant. They do have a full bar on the backside of the dining area. We did not partake in cocktails today but trust me, we will be back!

I love chicken sandwiches this place didn't disappoint! I got the chicken sandwich combo with a watermelon cucumber lemonade, also a lemonade ice cream mix thing sorry I forgot the name. The food was delivered to me so the service was good everything I ordered was hot and still fresh, The fires are good and well seasoned 8/10 The lemonade is probably one of the best lemonades in the city 10/10 The chicken sandwich was flavorful, I love pickles and they have a great ratio I can taste pickles in every bite, crispy with a soft bun 9/10 this is really good ! I will definitely be back!

Hands down the best chicken sandwich's around! If you want something juicy, crispy and bursting with flavor! This is your spot. There's a wide verity of spice levels, perfect for everyone to find what they like. Service was great and friendly! Everyone had a smile and looked like they enjoyed working there. My only complaint is that my cookies were forgotten! I ordered 2 chocolate chip cookies and never got the pleasure of eating them. Overall it's a good environment, good vibes and good music. Definitely recommend giving this place a try! You won't regret it.

Cute new little place in downtown. Went in to try the food and to our surprise further down they have a full bar area. So that's where we went.. The bar was calling us !! Miriam was our bartender, and she was just amazing. Very helpful, very friendly and attentive. For food we ordered: *Two tenders and slaw( came with fries) *Three Tenders and fries For drinks we ordered: *Skinny margarita w/tajin *Mojito Second round was dealers choice, and Miriam did just great. *Daiquiri *Bees knees The place has great cocktails and the food is very good. Chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. not dry whatsoever, we got mild flavor and it was just right for us. They have different levels of spiciness for whoever feels very adventurous. Love finding new places with great, drinks, good food, good vibes and amazing staff.

Food was tasty! I might be partial cause I'm from Houston but the taste was right. I wish it was warmer but I ordered Ubereats! All in all I'll try again.

I love this place! I am a frequent customer. The chicken is great but I just tried the chicken tortilla soup and was blown away. Hailey was my bartender and she was incredible! The vibe was awesome and we had a fun time.

They don't provide cups for water even though they have a soda fountain. So unfriendly to your customers. Chicken sandwich is ok, nothing special.

1st timer here- went for lunch the other day! Chicken tenders and chicken sandwich were so yum! Love the house sauce. And the waffle- iddkk what they put in that but it was delicious and satisfied my sweet tooth for sure! I also really enjoyed the watermelon cucumber drink. I will come here again!

Great spot with great people and more importantly great food! Brand new location only a couple of months old and my friends and I find ourselves here more often than not. I usually grab the 3 tenders with fries and a cucumber watermelon lemonade and some nacho cheese on the side. Be warned that they are NOT playing with the spice! I go for the mild and maybe once in a while a medium spice. Super crunchy and moist chicken filled with so much flavor, hands down one of the best chicken spots. Not to mention they also have a BAR so you can grab your chicken and hit the bar section to enjoy a 21+ alcoholic beverage! They were doing a crazy cool special on some watermelon spiked lemonade drinks! Miriam was our bartender and she is AMAZING, her service, attention to detail, attitude and personality is awesome! So many cool people here Ramon, Hermes, David! All great people! They know what they are doing here forsure! Long story short...stop by!

This chicken is very delicious, very moist and high in flavor . Definitely a hitter and worth ever buck Honestly wish they had a location n nyc !!!! The service is well and the staff is very helpful and attentive . Cant go wrong with the music playing in the background perfect vibe .

The location spot kind of sucks, gotta pay to park and that's if you can even find parking. The joint itself is clean but the food is not worth the price. Came with a big group and we ordered a lot of different things to try, and nothing was completely eaten. There was so much food left over and no one wanted to take it home. The food is just overtly sweet, like it was drowned in honey, and the spice was very pungent. A lot of people like this place so it just depends on the person.

We were downtown today for an event and wanted a quick bite. We decided on this place. Very cute little corner spot. Menu has a lot of chicken options. I went with the chicken tenders,honey butter style with fries and coleslaw. I am an expert at dumb questions, and yes, the cashier advised me you do not have to get the chicken hot. Instant relief. The chicken itself was delicious. The fries though was the star of the show. That seasoning was a tad sweet yet sultry yum! The sauce they gave us was mayo based and just as good. We tried a sample of the blueberry frozen lemonade. It was amazing,too much sugar for me, but still good. Very good choice was very happy to try.

We've tried most of the fried chicken sandwich places in town and we think this is right up there. The prices are in line and there's a tight menu of sandwiches and tenders in varying degrees of heat, fries and shakes. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, easy to order and a bar in the back if you're interested in that. We ordered the original sandwich along with a tender, both ordered spicy, which was right where we expected it heat wise. Delicious. And in the Arts District. Perfect!

I have been wanting to try Houston hot chicken for a while and they did not disappoint!! Chicken was fried to perfection!! I love crinkle cut fries they never disappoint!! I love all the sauce options makes it that more fun!! everything was so tasty and fresh will definitely be returning to this business when I'm craving hot chicken would recommend a hundred times over!!!
