The location has nice views of the city. If you are staying at the Sonesta hotel not a bad option to eat here. We had breakfast and the options were simple. food was ok nothing overly exciting, my eggs were over cooked. Not a place to go out of your way to eat at, but if you’re looking for something quick easy, this place could work. Eating outdoors is nice if checkin at hotel is not busy because the line for drop off is right in front of the tables.

Was checking out of my hotel and needed to grab a quick bite to eat and conveniently Hoyt's is right there connected to the hotel. A great spot with good food that hit spot and was satisfying. Environment Hoyt's is connected to the Royal Sonesta. It's a beautiful clean space with a bar in the center of the space and seated dining around it. I went during lunch on a weekday so it was pretty quiet, which I love. Service Service was great. I sat at the bar and the bartender served me. He was amazing and very attentive and polite. Great service and hospitality. Really enjoyed him. The food came out quickly and was perfect. Food and drinks I kept it simple and had the cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. It was a really good burger. Juicy and tasty and it's hard to go wrong with sweet potato fries. Overall Really great place to stop by for dinner. I would definitely come back for the solid burger or try other things on the menu. I would for sure come back for a drink.

This is the bar within the Royal Sonesta hotel but seems to be fairly popular with non-hotel guests too. There’s a small amount of seating outside but inside it is mostly ‘dining style’ table and chairs, which isn’t the most comfortable if you’re only wanting a drink. However, sitting at the bar gives a great experience and is prime to make the most of the wonderful service. The drinks menu is varied with decent prices and the screen above the bar is nice to keep up with the sport. A nice bar and I’ll certainly consider it for some food next time too.

Paul is an exceptional bartender—easygoing, professional, and truly skilled at what he does. He creates a welcoming atmosphere, making every guest feel comfortable and valued. His attention to detail and knowledge of drinks are impressive, ensuring that every cocktail is expertly crafted. Whether you’re looking for a casual conversation or a perfectly mixed drink, Paul delivers with ease and professionalism. Highly recommend!

Came in for a few drinks and food. Great history and beautiful architecture. Atmosphere was great and food was delicious, My order a devious gin drink but I will admit my old fashion was not very good. Besides that my experience was great. Would recommend it to for a visit.

Despite the reviews we stopped in to grab a drink and possibly watch some Sunday football. The bar was empty and asked if the bartender could see if another game was on, the current game was on multiple Tvs and was a blow out win. He asked me if I knew the channel. I am not from here and it is not my problem to figure that out. Apparently the bartender was a fan of the current team on the TV and never followed up and just said nothing. Then just continued to laugh and joke with fellow coworkers and the attentiveness was horrible. I never leave reviews, but for other guests they should see why this bar has garbage reviews. The hotel and staff other than the bar/restaurant have been great.

A bit disappointing foodwise! Very nice staff, nice interior, modern design, many alcoholic beverage options, with a few food choices. They would count as a great bar, but fall short of a restaurant. The few food options are over-priced & underwhelming. Their dishes have only fancy names & under-deliver. Recommend for a bar, & maybe a snack, but not for food.

I was a guest at the hotel for four nights, I had breakfast at the Hoyt's restaurant three of those days, all the crew was really nice except for hostess Micah, I can't believe a hostess can be so rude. Never to greet the costumers and always with a bitter face at our arrival. If your job is to be a hostess please be!

Yelp
I'm surprised this place does not have more reviews. Please blow them up. Paul is the nicest bartender/ person I have ever met! He is so passionate about his job. Inside as very clean We went back two nights for the Flamingo drink. It was too good! Their kitchen is a fusion kitchen with influences of the Caribbean. We had the Shepherds pie- ohh my, so delicious and hearty. Especially since it was cold.
