Ordered the 3 meat combo with roast duck, soy sauce chicken and roast pork over rice and a little side of broccoli and baby bok choy. We also got an order of combination chow fun which came with shrimp (4 pieces), beef, and bbq pork. And finally, we got a zongzi (sticky rice in banana leaf and stuffed with meat, peanuts, and salted egg yolk) to try. This was plenty of food for 2 hungry adults for dinner. The roast pork was the best out of the meat choices, it had crispy skin, and a good balance of fat and lean meat. The duck and chicken were savory, but I've had better roast duck elsewhere. The roast meat were displayed behind glass and cut to portion upon ordering. The chow fun (stir fry noodles) was made to order and came with wide rice noodles, shrimp, bbq pork, beef, and some onions, bean sprouts and green onions. It was filling and tasted pretty good although nothing special. The zongzi was huge! And the tasty was pretty good as well. Overall, the food was authentic but there is room for improvement flavor-wise.
Price is decent as well, although I am not sure how my order came to $33.10 (menu says $11 for 3 meat combo, $10.95 for combination chow fun, and $4.50 for the zongzi, so the tax must have been more than $6.50?), the math doesn't quite add up... I wasn't given a receipt so I cannot check on the details of these charges unfortunately. It looked like a small operation with just a lady and her husband so I am happy to support small businesses.
