Google
The hub and spoke diner is a great place to go to get breakfast and lunch. They have free parking in front of the entrance. The food was really good, but the seasonal fruit just ended up being an orange. The person I was with loved the grits.

Google
This was a decent brunch! The chicken and waffles were pretty tasty. The chicken was nice and crispy and had a great batter on it. The food was fairly well seasoned but felt like it needed a little more oomph to really nail all the flavors. The service was alright, they stopped refilling my coffee after the food was brought out, and didn’t have any condiment trays out until I asked.

Google
I really enjoyed this place!! It’s a great brunch spot for friends/family with a solid array of options to choose from. Service was good, food was good – I don’t really have anything else to say, except try the sour cream pancakes!

Google
I really wanted to love Hub & Spoke—it’s a cute spot with a great vibe, and the food was genuinely delicious. Unfortunately, the service just didn’t match the quality of the food. We waited about 30 minutes without anyone coming to our table, and only after I flagged someone down did we get to place our order. After that, we didn't really see our server again. I understand places get busy, but it felt like we were completely overlooked. Hopefully just an off day, because the food and atmosphere have a lot of potential.

Google
Hub and Spoke Diner was a major disappointment during our recent visit. As Texans, we were excited to introduce some friends to this place after enjoying good food previously. Unfortunately, this time, we faced a series of issues. We weren't assigned a waiter, and after waiting for 20 minutes, we approached an older waitress who seemed startled and exhausted. She agreed to help us, but it felt like we were inconveniencing her. After taking our order, it took a long time for the food to arrive. On top of that, parking was horrible; they only have a small lot, so you'll either have to wait for a spot or park far away. Given that the diner is quite small, I was surprised by the lack of efficient service. The food was decent, but the poor service and parking issues overshadowed the meal. It's frustrating to have such a disappointing experience after a good one, and I hope they can improve in the future.

Google
Awesome atmosphere and cool little place to visit. Got there before 9 and had no wait for 4 people. Food was alright, the kid pancake was delicious though. Had the biscuits and gravy and the biscuits was very dry and the potatoes had a little bit too much salt. Wife said her meat lovers skillet was okay as well. Not sure if it was just too early or what but was not super impressed with the food but would definitely give it another shot!

Google
I've been to Hub and Spoke countless times including before and after my wedding. It is by far the best breakfast restaurant in Utah and everything here is top quality. This Valentine's I made a reservation and even though we were late due to a flat tire, we were seated immediately. Food was excellent, the waffle was so good I ate it before I could snap a picture. The potatoes and chicken pictured lasted maybe another 2 minutes before I cleaned that perfect plate. I would recommend this place above all other in SLC. It's that good. Get the chicken/waffles or a Benedict they are S-TIER

Google
Food - Easily one of the most underwhelming food I’ve eaten in Utah. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. It has zero salt. And I mean zero salt, not even exaggerating. I would expect that grilled chicken is at least seasoned before cooking. The grilled chicken was also extremely oily. Our table had ordered 3 chicken sandwiches, and all of them were dripping oil. The fries are limp at best, overly seasoned, and feel old. Drink - My Cold Latte came with the glass 75% Ice. I expect some ice, not most of it being just ice. Atmosphere - the Atmosphere at the very least is great. Great interiors, great atmosphere and vibe. service - Service is okay. It is fast and the people are nice. That suffices.

Yelp
Food, vibes, and service was amazing! I got the brisket Benedict and it was incredible.

Yelp
This is a great breakfast joint in SLC that has a lot of great food and drink options. I always get the build your own breakfast with meat and a flapjack on the side. Their flapjacks are 10/10, definitely one of the best in the area!!! We came here around 10 am on a Monday and we got seated right away. If you're planning on coming on the weekend, definitely expect a long wait as everyone loves their brunch around here. Another side note, their parking lot is small and can get busy as well as side streets, so keep that in mind. It is a casual yet classy diner to enjoy comfort food in the morning! They have a really nice outdoor patio they open up during the warmer seasons.

Yelp
Such a great option for brunch! It was extremely easy to make a reservation and we were seated right away, at the time of our our reservation. The menu has something for everyone, but my particular favorites are the Kentucky Hot Brown, the Chicken Sandwich, and the Chicken and Waffles, as they do these items extremely well. It's really rare for me to get poultry while eating out but Hub & Spoke just season and cook it well! I will say I didn't care for the potatoes, as they were just not crispy enough, but their fries are great! Also, I don't love the espresso beans they use, it's a lot more sour than I'm used to (not sure if it's Arabica or not). Service was fantastic, our hot coffees and water got refilled even though they were really busy on a Saturday morning and the vibes were just nice, and extremely cozy environment on a snowy day. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Finding a brunch spot open on a weekday can get tricky, but Hub & Spoke has your back. The diner is inviting and bright, and their menu has tons of unique options like brisket Benedict and boozy shakes. This morning, I opted for a tuna melt off their lunch menu and was not disappointed! It was wonderfully portioned with fresh tuna and cheese, and the sourdough pulls it all together. Their French fries are close to perfect, too and I got to try 3 different dipping sauces to pair. Our server was lovely and friendly and the food came out super quickly!

Yelp
We loved having Sunday brunch here! The eggs Benedict was out of this world! Thomas was our server and he was very nice, great suggestions and fun. The place was clean and all were friendly. I highly recommend this place! Oh the lavender mimosas and yummy too!

Yelp
I've heard a lot of great things about Hub & Spoke. The service and ambiance are great. I was not a fan of the food. I ordered an omelet with bacon and toast. I didn't think it was good, but I wish I liked this place more because of everything else!
google avatar

Katie W.

Yelp
This place is a delightful diner in a wonderful area. I had the omelet with ham, and it was delicious! My boyfriend had the steak and eggs, and he ate every bite. The sourdough toast was a bit cold, but it was flavorful and was served with tasty jam and butter. They also have what seems like house made coffee, and it is sooo good! The service was fast and friendly. She kept our coffee full and remained upbeat all morning. The ambiance is fun and unique. I would love to have a party here, too, because they take reservations!

Yelp
Consistency is huge for a successful eatery; Hub and Spoke is consistently very good. The menu lands in the mid-range, and has something for everyone without being too big. I've had the shrimp & grits a few times and it's the thing that calls me back to this place. I recently had the biscuit and gravy and while it was very tasty it was mostly a plate of hash browns. My husband enjoys their burgers and their Benedict's. The atmosphere is visually pleasant, but indoors can get really loud--four of us could barely have a conversation on our recent visit--but during outdoor season the patio is fabulous. The service is always the right blend of friendly and efficient.

Yelp
i had a great thanksgiving brunch here! of course food isn't going to be the same quality when mass produced in buffet style but everything was still great! the turkey was phenomenal and juicy and the breakfast classics were delish. i wasn't the biggest fan of the candied yams, i thought the top could be crunchier and more flavorful but the yams themselves were well seasoned. the service was amazing, despite being a packed house they were attentive and always were checking up on us. they overall hosted a great holiday brunch and it was affordable! ambiance in here is cute and modern, there was too much going on to hear any music but felt like a classic modern twist on a diner. overall enjoyed trying their inventive classics as well as enjoying a good thanksgiving brunch.

Yelp
SLC breakfast winning dining experience! Modern diner setup with counter seating... audience to bustling kitchen and courteous servers... especially Claire! Order taken and delivered with the extras! No reminders and with ample attention! Their servers got it all down to a science! Loved this spots take on a southern dish, one of my faves - Shrimp n Grits: Cheesy grits with pickled peppers, onions, andouille sausage( plenty) , shrimp ( seasoned enough to compliment everything) and tomatoes served in a Skillet! On the side I ordered what I like to include bacon and an over medium egg.. and their H&S potatoes! Can we say scrumptiously delicious!! I needed nothing else! Chicken n Waffles was served to my daughter who said it was 8/10... she prefers white meat. If we had more days I'd definitely had wanted to try so much more on their menu.

Yelp
This place is like a 3.5 for me. It has good food -- but not crave-able food. I've had several of their breakfast items, and they are all good, just not great. Never had anything off the lunch menu. The service is always good. When the weather is nice I love their little outdoor seating area. The inside can get kind of loud. Affordable prices which is always a plus.

Yelp
I love coming here on solo dates or with colleagues. What I appreciate most is that everything on the menu feels made with a lot of thought and care. They smoke their own meats, bread their own chicken, etc. Everything is fresh! I'm consistently impressed, even if I get the same thing twice. I love all of their coffees, and am excited to try the cocktails (I've always come before 10AM, and Utah laws prevent it). Everything is delicious, and you can't go wrong! If you want to come, especially during brunch hours, making a reservation is a must because it fills up and wait times can get long. Planning ahead lets you avoid the trouble. It's worth it!

Yelp
My new sweet breakfast favorite is Hub & Spoke's sour cream flapjacks. We shared one as an "appetizer" and it was like a light, fluffy cake! I'll be craving it when I wake up tomorrow morning--sadly we'll out of Utah by then. Huge portions, specifically breakfast burrito and benedict. I went off the restaurant menu to their to-go offerings and had a perfectly satisfying breakfast sandwich with potatoes. We will be back every SLC visit from now on. See you soon, Seth! (Sorry, no photos.)

Yelp
I had a great breakfast here with a friend I was visiting in Salt Lake. Since I usually stay downtown, I wouldn't have known about it without her asking if we could try something in a different neighborhood. I had the eggs, sausage, and wheat toast along with a side of hot tea. Unlike many places, my eggs were cooked perfectly, and the toast wasn't that stretchy cheap bread you can get a lot of the time. The butter was real, and the sausage came in patties with a nice flavor and, best of all, a seared top. My tea was a quality one. My friend had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, which tasted as good as it looked. Our server throughout was patient, since we were sitting for a while and catching up and never made us feel like we needed to speed it up. I also got the homemade Pop Tarts, which were very good. I would have liked a bit more fruit and less butter in the dough, since the result was a bit soggy, but how can you complain about Pop Tarts with a homemade icing? Next time I come back to SLC, I'll definitely hit up this place for a great breakfast.

Yelp
The service was good, food came out in a timely manner. There are a lot of great brunch options, the coffee was delish!

Yelp
Very great place to dine for brunch hour. I love their biscuits and gravy plate. Tried their hot chai latte last time it's alright wish it was sweeter. They don't have any creamers for the coffee just the 1/2 & 1/2. The service last time I was shooketh. The waitresses were sharing a plate of the breakfast nachos, going to town on it. Literally in the open bar seating area. I'm thinking can't this be on a lunch break time of their time. Or even in the back kitchen area where customers are NOT seated NOT In middle of serving ppl. THEN GET THIS, AFTER OUT WAITRESS ATE, SHE GOT SERVED US OUT PLATES WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS I don't think I'll ever bring visiting family here anymore to this spot.
google avatar

Yelp
Don't let the weekend line fool you! Worth the wait ALERT! My wife said one of the best egg benedicts she's ever had! Smoked their own ham! My son & I LOVED smoked brisket eggs benedict. Heavenly! I'm coming back when we fly back up. Go Utes

Yelp
Rhianna is the greatest server of all time! She spoiled my family and me, catering to our every need. Thank you. The food was exceptional. I had the breakfast burrito, and it was made exactly how I wanted it. My wife had the poached eggs and avocados, which looked amazing. My daughter couldn't stop raving about how good her eggs were, along with their tasty smoked potatoes. Despite the large crowd, the staff handled everything efficiently. The building is very clean and tidy.
google avatar

Reed Y.

Yelp
This was our first experience at Hub and Spoke. It is in a nice new building that seems to share space with another business... there is absolutely not enough parking in the lot, so plan on utilizing the neighborhood streets (as always, please be courteous to the neighbors.) The staff was extremely Friendly and made a wonderful dining atmosphere. The hot chocolate and coffee are delicious. My family of 4 ordered Chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, make your own breakfast, and build your own omelette. The chicken was extremely dry and the waffles grainy, the chili syrup was fantastic! We also tried eating the biscuits and gravy. Again extremely grainy and dry. I had a hard time keeping it on the fork it was so dry. The gravy was the saving grace for this dish. The make your own breakfast that was ordered (scrambled eggs, potatoes, and toast) was reminiscent of the free breakfast at the HolidayInn Express breakfast. As for the omelette, it was good, nothing special, so not very notable. All in all, I don't believe we will be returning.
google avatar

Yelp
$2.50 for one piece of toast is wild. The jam that came with, and the cheese grits were absolutely stunnin'...so I'm not mad. Everything was absolutely delicious. But maybe 2 pieces of toast for $2.50?

Holly A.

Yelp
Hub and Spoke is one of my favorite breakfast spots! They consistently have good service and the best waffles.

Yel P.

Yelp
What a fantastic experience! Had brunch, and the food and service was 5 stars!!! Our waitress, Danielle, was excellent! She made sure our drinks were always full and came and checked on our table several times. And everytime with a big smile! I loved it so much! We all left feeling full from the delicious food and happy. If you never been here before, what are you waiting for.

Yelp
Another great meal! Waffle- can't go wrong - yummy waffle - one of the best Biscuits & gravy - good gravy and great biscuit Donut holes- a real breakfast treat

Yelp
We are always infinitely satisfied and happy with our food at Hub & Spoke! Today we were advised it would be an hour wait and so while we waited in the car for about 15 min, we decided to check out Liberty Fresh Market and see what goodies they had. Great local store to get Hans Kombucha, banana nut bread, and a turkey sandwich! We spent a pretty penny, but that is to be expected with local small grocery shops. Saw they made fresh squeezed orange juice! We didn't have to wait the full hour and were texted our table was ready after 30 min! I saw later they have reservations available through OpenTable app! My Son got the chicken & waffles and they were delicious with the perfectly seasoned fried chicken and waffle. My Husband got the steak and eggs and was very satisfied with his dish as well. I got the shrimp & grits which is a staple for me every time. My oat milk vanilla latte was perfect, my Son drank his whole glass of orange juice and my Husband had two bloody Mary's. Lastly, our service was impeccable! Don't pass up on this amazing brunch place! It's busy for a reason!
google avatar

Andre A.

Yelp
Went for brunch on a Sunday morning knowing we had to wait. But we got there at the right time and we got seated in 10 minutes fora party of 7. The food was fabulous and delicious and served very promptly. The service was excellent and we enjoyed a good amount of time without any problems Great atmosphere.

Yelp
Hidden gem in the Sugar house area! Decided to get some brunch and looked for some dog-friendly places (ridiculously tricky in SLC) happen to spot this restaurant and gave it a try. The service was a solid 9/10 I'm honestly just not giving it a 10 because I was sitting on the farthest corner of the patio but the servers gave my puppy all the attention and even a treat! I could tell that the place was busy inside as the wait for a table was 30+ minutes but everyone seemed to be ok with it. Best advice, go in early or after 12pm! I opted for the vegetarian Benedict along with a hot vanilla latte. The flavor of the coffee was insanely rich and was a great treat for sitting in the cold! My food was delicious, to the point that it was hard to believe that the Hollandaise sauce was actually vegetarian. The price was actually decent for one person (about 30 plus tip) for a brunch in a "hot spot" area of SLC
google avatar

Lance B.

Yelp
This is a very great place for a late breakfast (they open at 8:00) or an early brunch. We arrived at 7:55 just before they opened and we were the only ones in the parking lot. I have heard it gets very busy around 10:00 where you'll more than likely be waiting for a table. The food was very good and the service was good. Very nice cozy place to have breakfast that is different from the typical places if you want to try and find something new.

Ethan P.

Yelp
Hub & Spoke Diner is a perfect spot for your next brunch outing. It's in a wonderful area of the city, in between Liberty Park and Sugarhouse Park. Service is always quick and attentive. The outside area isn't anything to write home about, but it's a nice option in the summer. Their breakfast burrito has a nice depth of flavor you don't typically see in that sort of item.
google avatar

Maria V.

Yelp
First time visit here. Super excited to see the gluten-free menu items other than the standard plain salads and frozen gluten-free bread. I did order the spinach, quinoa, and sweet potato salad. The waitress, Toshia, was so helpful and very sweet. I ordered grilled shrimp on top of my salad, good amount. My friends loved their lunch as well. One of them ordered the iced Chai drink. The waitress said they get their tea from Teavana. I'll try it next time, obviously I'll be back!
google avatar

Apoorva B.

Yelp
This place has a great vibe and is located in the a cute neighbourhood. We ordered freshly squeezed orange juice which was soooo good and made our own omelette and breakfast. Though we loved our entire meal, potatoes in particular were exquisite. Don't forget to put them in your meal. My personal favourite has to be the flapjack. It was extremely good. Our waiter, Meera was so cheerful and helpful. Don't try to check out the local store opposite to hub and spoke.
google avatar

Amie B.

Yelp
Our favorite local joint! The ambiance and crowd are diverse and fun! The best fries in the world!

Emma H.

Yelp
If you are considering coming here, definitely do it. It's a cute spot with great food and such friendly service. Shout out to Seth!
google avatar

Asher B.

Yelp
Staff is very friendly and the service is fast. Try the in house made donut holes! For the quality of ingredients, the prices are great. Cocktails are honestly under priced.... 1 critique, I wish the menu had better description. The fried chicken is dark meat (the fry is great, I just don't like dark meat) so it would have been nice to know before ordering.
google avatar

Yelp
So glad we discovered this place for brunch!! The latte and food were super delicious. The food came out extremely fast. Service was great! Can't wait to go again

Yelp
Love love love! my favorite breakfast/ brunch spot! all the servers are great and so friendly, they have great drinks and amazing food. I o always bring new people here

Yelp
Okay, whoa. This place blew me away. I decided to come here on a whim while waiting for my next destination to open and I was so impressed! First of all let's talk negatives, their parking lot is tiny. So many people had to park on the street because there was no available parking. What should I expect in Salt Lake though? But it was still a bit disappointing. So once we found somewhere to park, the wait was only about 20 minutes which isn't terrible for a Saturday. We got to our table and were told to us the QR code for the menu. Mine wouldn't load so I ended up going to their website and going to the order to go section. Some of the menu items were different from the to go and the menu as I compared it to my friends. One difference was the Nutella French toast to go had strawberries while the sit down menu did not. So, I added strawberries. Anyways, I ordered a London fog and saw on the menu they had milk substitutes! I was literally so excited. Being lactose intolerant sucks, so having those little modifications is such a big deal to me. I ordered a London fog with oat milk and my oh my was it so tasty! I am still thinking about it days later. The French toast was also delicious and I ended up ordering a side of bacon after the fact because I needed to balance out the sweetness. They let you chose if it is chewy or crispy! Seriously, so awesome. Our waitress came over multiple times to check on us and refill waters and she was so nice and knew the menu really well. I will definitely be back to try the vegan milkshakes and get another London fog.

Yelp
I live very close so I first went for the convenience but was pleasantly surprised with delicious food and great service. Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch

Yelp
Had a really good experience this morning. Both Benedicts we got (crab and brisket special) were excellent. The service was quick, the latte was delicious and the food went down fast and joyfully.
google avatar

Kevin A.

Yelp
Would definitely come back! Their Bruce Hess awesome and had a great menu. Ordered several items as pictured and we loved all of them. Best had to be the francesina, so much flavor and has a perfect egg on top. Next time I visit I will be getting more items to try their full menu. Fries were decent and the salads had a great flavor. Good drinks for SKC too!
google avatar

Yelp
The experience really "spoke" to me. Took my family of 4 to this diner and had a hoot of a time. Our server dressed in overalls gave us service that would rival Shin Miyazaki. The food arrived at our table faster than we could get through our conversation about the ambiance of the establishment. Breathtaking nonetheless. We couldn't even get photos of our food before trying it. Amazing flavor in the chicken and waffle. French toast was fluffy and sweetly balanced. The biscuits and gravy were perfect. The Classic Benedict was eggcelent. Overall great experience. We will be back for more!
google avatar

Ty R.

Yelp
Open floor plan restaurant with a hip vibe. A little loud but not disturbingly so. Good quality food and good service. They have an outdoor area that is probably ice when it is not 100 degrees out. Worth a trip to try it out.

Kristen A.

Yelp
We made reservations the day before, but because it was the day after Christmas it was busy and people weren't really moving from their seats. The kind host was very helpful and sweet and assured us that we would be seated as soon as possible, we ended up waiting for a lot longer than anticipated, but we were really excited and with the host being so kind we waited. We ended up checking in and since we had waited so long the host and owner (I think) were SO considerate, they threw in free house made pop tarts and when we asked for fries later they also added that for free- totally unsuspected and soooo yummy. I was very happy to be there with good company and nice vibes of the staff and restaurant! Definitely worth the wait, the food is extremely well priced and you get a lot of it! For being a trendy salt lake brunch spot- this place is a GREAT option. Also, I do enjoy that they let you make reservations ahead of time and honor that!
google avatar

Elle M.

Yelp
Our folks had just landed the day after Christmas and wanted brunch at the Pancake Pantry. We convinced them that Hub & Spoke was worth the wait and a far better choice. We crossed our fingers, and I'm happy to report we were right. Eggs Benedict and omelets were the priority, and our Southern folks declared them here the best they've ever had. They talked about it all afternoon. The wait was 45 minutes, but you will receive a link to monitor your place in line. To pass the time, we shopped for chocolate, cheese, and prosciutto across the street at Liberty Heights Market. Special mention of hostess Raven, who is gorgeous and maintained kindness and a smile despite the holiday frenzy - and our server who called us her besties and treated us like it, too. She was so fast and so efficient. I wish I had not blanked on her name. 5 stars is for the customer service and the quality of food for a brunch/diner experience. There was nothing to improve upon with our experience. Good work, H&S !

Yelp
Hub and Spoke is a great little neighborhood place that's a few blocks from us. I've been there for breakfast a few times and it's great. The first couple of times I had the Kentucky Hot Brown, which is very similar to Welsh Rarebit. It's a lovely toast with sliced turkey and a bechamel/cheese sauce that's bubbly and lovely. It's the only place in Salt Lake that serves this as far as I know, and it's a favorite. This morning we went for breakfast and managed to get there before 9 am, so we could get the 'early bird special'. This is a ton of food - 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, and fruit or potatoes, all for $6.99! What a deal! My only criticism is that my over-medium eggs were over hard, but I get that it's really hard to do over-medium. Everything was delicious and it was a great deal. They get very busy, but you can make a reservation on Open Table, which is so nice. Give them a try, they are great!

Yelp
Sour Cream Buttermilk Pancakes are a must and so is the brisket Benedict!!! Our service was great, we didn't have a long wait at all and the restaurant just had a cool vibe over all!
google avatar

Todd L.

Yelp
Amazing food and great service! Our waitress Toshia was the best. Definitely want to come back and try more of their menu

Emma T.

Yelp
Obsessed with their chicken and waffles! This is one of the few brunch places in SLC that's open past 2:00pm, so this was a great spot to come to after church. The staff were friendly and our food came quickly. It was also a very reasonable price.
google avatar

Grant T.

Yelp
Amazing food. Excellent service. Best shrimp and grits in Salt Lake City.. and a few southern cities as well!

Tamara O.

Yelp
I have no clue how this place doesn't have 5 stars! This is by far my favorite breakfast/brunch place in SLC I've had this far. The location in Sugarhouse is perfect and they have a lot of parking nearby on the street for free if their parking lot fills up. The prices are reasonable, the service is quick, and the food is delicious and perfectly cooked. We got a BYOB - scrambled eggs, avocado, cheese grits, and a sourdough flapjack. The sourdough flapjack was only a 99 cent upcharge and came with real Maple syrup, so that was an excellent deal. We also got chicken and waffles and subbed the potatoes for bacon for $2.99 (highly recommend, their bacon is delicious and perfectly crispy). One thing to note is that they only take reservations starting at 2pm on Saturdays so call ahead or arrive early. We will definitely be back!
