Tonight, before Kaboom Town, I stopped in again. My server Ruth was warm and welcoming, and then came the showstopper: the chocolate French silk pie. I forgot to take a picture—that’s how good it was. It came with a huge mound of fresh whipped cream, and the crust had espresso in it. Rich, creamy, and a generous portion. Honestly, it was life-changing. Don’t sleep on the rest of the menu either—their French fries are awesome, the double cheeseburger is amazing, and my buddy had the redfish and loved it. If you’re visiting Addison, do yourself a favor and go to Hudson House. Even if it’s just for the pie. Trust me.

Sarah was an awesome bartender! Very attentive and fast at getting our drinks out. Everything was delicious. The oysters are phenomenal. Best happy hour around! Both Sarah and Kacey kept our waters full the entire time we were at the bar which I absolutely appreciate. Hudson House will always be my fav!

I dined in here for the first time Sunday afternoon on 4/13 after wanting to try this place since 2020. I finally made it in. I dined in by myself at the bar and just really enjoyed my experience here. I was served by Liam. He was very quick, kind, and warm. I hope someone congratulates him because he made for a good first experience. I had a mixture of the oysters for an appetizer followed by the cheeseburger. It was all splendid. I would definitely return! Thank you!

Hudson house is always consistent. I love their oysters and their Texas redfish. The hostess had a major attitude and was not nice. They were slammed but no excuses. our waitress was awesome, and the manager walked around to each table checking in.

I enjoyed our experience at Hudson House! The service was great and I really loved how pretty the restaurant is!! The food was really hyped up to me before we ate there, and liked my burger but I didn’t LOVE her. But they are famous for a reason!!! Again, had it not been so hyped I probably would’ve been obsessed lol. You really could tell it was quality food, which I appreciated! The fries were crispy and delish. I would definitely return!

Google
Best lobster roll in the state of Texas. The fries were just how I like them, crispy and thin. Dirty martini was served with stuffed blue cheese olives and a blue cheese salt rim. Roll was a totally reasonable price $$. Will absolutely be back and totally recommend.

Originally had the Greek salad delivered and it was so good I had to pay this place a visit. The salad had the softest, juiciest chicken with all the typical salad toppings on top that it made it worth the cost. During our recent in person visit, we ordered the lobster roll and the cheeseburger with a Dr. Pepper and tea. Both were great but I personally enjoyed the salad more than the lobster roll. The portion sizes are perfect. Our sever was sweet and attentive. Highly recommend!

I came in town for business and met an old friend here. The spot was really nice. The food was bomb and the service was top tier. I recommend this spot for a quick bite. The food came out fast and fresh. I forgot to snap a pic of our entrees.

Yelp
(Pressed tuna sushi in photo) Oysters are always excellent! The bartender was amazing, but the girl he was working with never spoke to me once. I put my card out and she just grabbed it to take my payment. Didn't even say thank you lol. The guy was so busy the martini he made me was great. The pressed tuna sushi came out quick, but I wonder how fresh it was since it was brought out a minute after I ordered. Anyway, Hudson house is known for their oyster so that didn't and has never disappointed

Michelle B.

Yelp
I came back with a friend and this time it was AMAZING. We shared the tuna tartare, avocado dip, and hudson salad. The avocado dip with kind of like an avocado toast topping with the most amazing ranch chips to dip in it. The hudson salad sounds simple with tomatoes, bacon, cucumber, etc but something about the dressing that puts it over the top. Hudson House will now be a monthly visit - can't wait until until it opens in Frisco!

Yelp
Atmosphere: - Modern, chic setting. I really liked the decor and subtle greenery that occasionally caught my eye. Booths were super comfortable to sit on and tables were big enough to house all the food without any issues. - It was a bit loud though, obviously due to it being a busy Saturday night, but the area was somewhat echo-y and made it hard to hear sometimes when chatting. Service: - Staff was very friendly and helpful, described some of the menu and provided recommendations when asked. Refilled water and checked on us occasionally. We came for a birthday, so they prepared something special for that! Food/Drinks: - Photos show everything we ordered. - Out of everything, the salad was actually the standout (and I'm not a salad guy). I thought the green goddess dressing perfectly matched the assortment that was thrown together, and the combination of avocado, cherry tomato, bacon and sharp cheddar blended together quite nicely. The popcorn chicken was perfectly fried and a great contrast to the creaminess from the avocado and dressing. - Fish tacos were tender and loved the use of pickled onions to cut the richness. - The Cheeseburger was a tad bit dry (saved by the sauce), not sure if it had been sitting out or anything. - Everything else was great, too. Would totally recommend any of the dishes we got! Price: - Actually very reasonably priced. For 4 people, we ended up spending around $110, which isn't terrible at all. Each dish was filling already, so I think price-to-value ratio was great. Each dish is around the $20 mark. Overall: - Great experience -- I would definitely come here again, everything tasted great and presentation is spot on. I can see why people adore this place!

Yelp
Fantastic hostess. She welcomed us and sat us at the booth we had requested in the reservation. Thank you. Clean and bright ambience. Our waitress was very nice and friendly, but I felt like she kept trying to upsell us on everything we ordered. It was subtle, but I felt inappropriate. I've been here for lunch several times, but this was my first time at dinner for this Hudson house location. I love their red fish and it was spectacular at the Preston Forest lane location, but here it was overcooked and not near enough sauce. If I hadn't had such a good experience with the dish at the Preston Forest location, I would never order the dish again. The broccoli was very good though. Excellent shrimp cocktail although only four shrimp. I thought there should've been at least one more. Oysters are delicious, but very small and expensive. The French chicken was OK, but not as juicy as my wife would have hoped. Large portions for entrées. We also had some very good mac & cheese to share, passing on the suggested upgrade to lobster mac & cheese. Enjoyed the wine by the glass, but frankly the pour was a little skimpy. All in all mixed experience and the next time I'd probably go back to the forest location for dinner, even though Addison is closer to us. passing on the suggested upgrade to lobster mac & cheese.

Yelp
Hudson House! Always a go to when with my girl Amber! We were wanting to enjoy the beautiful day outside, so we came here and decided to sit on the patio, getting there just at the end of the lunch rush, which was great, because before you knew it, most of the patio was ours! We decided on getting cocktails, an Espresso Martini for yours truly, and a margarita for her! And in true girl fashion, we weren't sure what we wanted so we ordered several items to share and have ourselves a girl lunch!!! The greek salad was so fresh and crisp, hadn't had this one before, and it did not disappoint. Also enjoyed the Shrimp Dynamite (KAPOW! so good), the Popcorn Chicken (spicy, which isn't really spicy, just a little extra umph!) and then the truffle fries. This was a win win for all choices involved with not much left between the two of us! Service is always great here, and will always keep coming back!

Kristina A.

Yelp
1000/10 Food - -Shrimp dynamite - reminds me so much of "bang bang" shrimp, but BETTER! It's got a little tang to it and the crunch is perfect Fish tacos - these were more like burritos! The flavor was fantastic. We got the fish blackened and highly recommend Cheeseburger - this place is known for their cheeseburger. I don't know what it is but the sauce on it is amazing! Skinny fries - they have this seasoning on them (same as on pickle) that makes them perfect. Their texture is crunchy, too! Both martinis were fab. I typically don't like my espresso martinis with a Baileys but this one is amazing! Such a treat! Atmosphere is fun and chic. The inside is beautiful and has nice low (ish) lighting Service was great as well! We really enjoyed our waitress and her recommendations!

Yelp
I love Hudson House especially to go for happy hour! Their drinks are sooo good! I get the stone fruit & it's probably my favorite drink of all time. Usually my friends & I share different appetizers but this time we decided to try something different. We ordered a salad, burger & fries. I was worried the salad wouldn't be my favorite but I was wrong! So fresh & delicious that I can't wait to have it again. The burger! I'm not a burger person & that was an amazing burger. I feel like I've been missing out! And of course the fries were great. I was stuffed. We didn't even come close to finishing all the food but so glad we ordered it. My reason for removing a star is the service. You never know what to expect with the server and the hosts usually act like their better then us. The service here is something I just don't understand because I don't feel like it fits with their menu & cliental. The food & drinks are just so good those that it keeps us coming back!

Angie H.

Yelp
Had lunch at Hudson House, and it was amazing!! We were seated very quickly, and the vibe was energetic, even at lunch time. Our server, Kyra, was outstanding. She was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We took her recommendation on the oysters we chose. They were so fresh and flavorful. I had a salad with grilled chicken, and it was excellent. We also tried the lobster roll. It was way bigger than expected with huge chunks of lobster. I can't wait to eat there again!! It's a MUST try!

Alie A.

Yelp
I took friends here for brunch while they were briefly in town, and the food did not disappoint. Their French toast is by far the best I've ever had and their pancakes have poppy seeds in them which was a nice touch. I'm eager to go back for the fish tacos which actually look like a burrito. It was pretty chill around noon on a Sunday, which were weren't mad at. The service was good and well as our server was attentive and extremely helpful. I can't wait to return!

Amanda R.

Yelp
Food was great. I haven't tried something here that I didn't love! Unfortunately, the service was slow. They were busy, but I have been to other locations that were busy and still had great service.

Emely M.

Yelp
The service was amazing Sarah was very helpful & outgoing! The food is amazing, the flavor and portion size are perfect definitely shareable! The ambiance is very cozy but you can't be too casual! The staff and even the kitchen (it's open) are all clean cut and very pleasant!

Lydia L.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I made reservations in the patio for Saturday night! It was pretty cold and windy out but the patio is enclosed and the heater made it really warm! Our server, Liam, continued to check in on us and we loved his vibe and patience. As for food, we started with the shrimp dynamite which was AMAZING. Seriously one of the best appetizers we've had. We both got the cheeseburger and ordered fries to share. The burger was pretty dang good and big in size. Loved the sesame buttery buns. The drinks were strong. I mean if you're paying for a drink, it better be strong lol. Only made the food taste even better. We'll definitely be back, maybe in the spring time in the patio!

Denise H.

Yelp
We came here for the oysters and a martini and left with so much more! This place has a sophisticated atmosphere and service to match. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We 2 hours before happy hour which in hindsight has led to me wanting to return during happy hour/early dinner next! Very simple menu but offers a little be of something I believe most would enjoy for seafood. Our ordered consisted of: Oysters: one of each from an area they are shipped to their restaurant. --This was such a joy to be able to learn of a new oyster type I may like than what is given from Avocado Dip: whipped avocado, lemon juice & Maldon salt, served with ranch chips --So happy they were to accommodate me with a healthier side of celery and cucumber sticks. Shrimp Cocktail: chipotle remoulade, cocktail sauce --Never had a chipotle remoulade with shrimp and this now an expectation I would love to have over cocktail sauce. Lobster Roll: 1/4 lb of fresh Atlantic lobster, New England style, poppy seed roll, skinny fries | limited availability --Hands down best lobster roll I've had in Dallas All of the cocktails were made to perfection with freshness and just the perfect amount of alcohol to mixer ratio.

Yelp
Love Hudson House and highly recommend! My husband and I stopped by this evening after getting tired of Thanksgiving leftovers and Hudson House was perfect. We went late on a Sunday evening and were seated quickly, which was very nice! This place fills up fast during peak times, so a reservation is always recommended. I believe on Friday and Saturdays are reservation only. Service is always phenomenal and today was no different. We shared a bowl of clam chowder, crispy fish tacos, fries, and salmon. Every dish was top tier! The fish tacos is our fave dish here, so we usually share that and something else. Another fave is the French chicken. The clam chowder is really good as well! It's not always printed on the menu (not sure why), but they always have it.....just ask. Always love the vibe.....sort of casual old-school east coast-ish. They also have $10 cheeseburgers during happy hour and they're delicious as well!

Amanda R.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant with fantastic service! Nice way to start off our groups visit. We really needed a round table since there were so many of us. The menu is really short and sweet! Even if you don't sit at the bar you can still partake in the happy hour that is offered from 3-6 pm Monday thru Friday. The olives that come in your martini are hand stuffed with cheese in the restaurant. They are delicious! Well worth asking for that 3rd one in your drink! My hamburger was delicious! The side pickle was a hefty serving and was covered in a spicy dry rub. Yummy pickle. But I'm a pickle lover. So you can't go wrong serving me one on the side. Everything was really good! Our server Monique was amazing! The oysters are delicious! You have to try these. Well worth the price. The negatives of this location is the noice. It's gosh awful. It's virtually impossible to carry or hear a conversation. Even when the person is sitting one seat over. It's that bad. I'm guessing it was loud because it was a Friday. Folks tell me it's not like this during the week. Plus it didn't help that they opened up all the patio windows to cool off the outside? It's not even an enclosed area! The heat index is 110 degrees today. Why make those inside suffer?? Stupid idea really. I'd go back in a heartbeat! You should go too! June 2024

Yelp
Hudson House never disappoints! The food is always delicious, whether you're there for brunch, lunch, or dinner. It's a really cute location and is perfect for any occasion. They have the best salads and are always very large with the freshest ingredients. Would highly recommend!

Rachel S.

Yelp
This place is great! My friend and I scheduled reservations for lunch here this weekend and we had a terrific time. Once we arrived, we were able to check in smoothly with the hostesses with our reservation. We were sat quickly and the ambience and interior were both one of our favorite aspects of the experience. The style is very much northeast coast! We loved it! Next, our waitress came over quickly and helped us by providing great suggestions. I ordered the cheeseburger with skinny fries and my friend took our waitress's suggestion and ordered the eggs benedict with salmon. I believe both the burger and skinny fries are always available on the lunch/dinner menu, but the eggs benedict was a brunch special menu item. The cheeseburger was great and I loved the "Hudson Sauce" that came with it. The fries were also wonderful with their own seasoning added to them. My friend said her eggs benedict was one of the best she has ever had! Our waitress was very attentive and checked in with us a couple times, and even took away our straw wrapper trash at the beginning. Overall, the service was good but it did feel a little quick. My only complaint is that we felt a little rushed to get in and get out. We came for a girl's lunch and wanted to take our time and talk, but our food came out in less than 10 minutes and we also had the checks before I was completely finished eating. However, if you like faster service, then this is a plus! We still had a great experience and loved the food. This place is on my favorites list to return to. Thank you so much!!

Meredith F.

Yelp
The oysters here are all from the East Coast and they are so unique and delicious. They go perfectly with their white wine selection too. I love oysters. I'm an oyster snob. I live on the West Coast and oysters these oysters taste totally different. I absolutely absolutely loved this whole dining experience. I could not believe how packed out this place was at 9 o'clock at night on a Tuesday! I got really envious at the man's soup bowl at the table next to me... So I ordered whatever he was having. He happened to have the homemade clam chowder, which was a big fat giant guilty pleasure, and worth every single calorie. Because of the clam chowder guilty sin, I decided to eat the broccoli parmesan for my main course, which was cooked to perfection. The restaurant is a tiny bit loud, so it is a little bit challenging to have an intimate conversation, but I wouldn't let that steer you away from this upbeat, delicious, beautiful restaurant. My server, I believe his name was Jose, was super busy, but also quite attentive. He took good care of me and made fantastic suggestions. I can tell he works very hard at his job and he genuinely cares about the customer experience. I'm from out of town and I didn't have high expectations for finding a great restaurant in Addison, Texas - and I was filled with delight to discover this incredible place. I also discovered that Addison is quite a lovely place to visit and I can't wait to come back. I would definitely recommend this place for a birthday party or a large group. I didn't sit on the patio, but I think the patio looked quite charming and lovely. Enjoy!

Yelp
Visited Monday evening approximately 6:45pm. My party had arrived earlier. After I was seated two servers addressed the table before us. After 15 - 20 minutes of no service spaces opened up barside we transitioned. We observed the former table was cleaned new patrons seated and served within two minutes. Ordered a lemon drop martini and was served a lemon meringue martini. Ordered pan seared red fish asked to sub broccoli for mac n cheese even if I paid additional was advised could not do that. Meal was not appetizing ate less than a quarter. Paid my tab and yes despite the below celsius service left a tip. We saw the manager in the blue shirt, requested his presence but he left within the two minutes after we saw him.

Anne M.

Yelp
First of all, the happy hour drinks and the food are amazing! What we had a bad experience with was the manager. Today we had a reservation for four at 4 PM on the patio. It turned out that it was raining and even though it was a covered patio, they would not seat us. They said we could look for a spot in the bar if we wanted happy hour prices and nothing was available so we asked if we could sit in the main area. The manager was talking to another person while we were in hearing distance and said "they think they're special" to get happy hour prices in the main dining area. They did give us a table, but I absolutely will not come back. Tip for management.: Don't talk bad about your customers in front of them.

Margaret M.

Yelp
Very memorable meal! We didn't have a reservation but quickly got seated (was a weeknight). Starters were the star of the show, you HAVE to get the crispy rice. Salmon & steak entrees were good, but not enough flavor. Will be back for more drinks & crispy rice!

Tanera J.

Yelp
Had reservations here for my birthday dinner to celebrate with my friends. Never been before but have been wanting to try Hudson for a long time. The service was really great. It was a larger party with about 9 of us but our waitress was very quick and efficient. Tried the avocado dip and spicy salmon crispy rice for appetizers. The spicy salmon crispy rice was literally so perfect. You get three of them and it was literally so good. Loved the aioli sauce that was on them and the texture of the crispy rice with the raw salmon was delectable. The avocado dip was also really good and I like the chips that come with it. Can tell they are fresh homemade chips and are well seasoned. I got the lobster roll for my entree. It wasn't the best lobster roll I've ever had but it wasn't bad either. It is served cold and I think it's a bit heavy on the mayo but the pieces of lobster were a good size and they gave plenty of lobster. I did like the roll it was on and the skinny fries were delicious and perfectly cooked! All of my friends said they loved their entrees and the margarita I ordered was very strong and good! I had a great birthday dinner here and will definitely be back as I didn't try the oysters and I have to try those! The ambience was really nice here and can be very causal dining as well. I think it was worth the prices for everything I tried and the food was high quality.

Asia W.

Yelp
I've ordered to go a couple of times and every time the French chicken is phenomenal. It melts like butter in your mouth just delicious. This past Saturday, I went for brunch and was surprised (not sure why) as to how great the French toast was. I don't like eggs and therefore I don't like eggy French toast. This was perfectly crisp on the outside and no eggy bits in the middle. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. Definitely a must try!

Yelp
My last review was in 2021 in happier times when our dear friend Hudson House had an actual good happy hour menu. Times have changed. I came here today for the first time in a while for dinner. I sat at the bar. There were two bartenders. The one I had was a woman with glasses. Her soft skills were terrible or better yet, not there. Her counterpart was very friendly and warm toward the guests that she served, nlbut the lady who served me was unfriendly and bordered on rude. The bar wasn't busy and i was by by myself tonight (Saturday at 8:30pm) so I sat at the bar. The bartender serving me was very cold/dry in her delivery. I wasn't even told her name, meanwhile her colleague told her customers both of their names and was pleasant with her customers. The food was good, but I can make myself my own manhattan cocktail, cheeseburger, and skininy fries. I go out to eat to receive a good experience, primarily consisting of good service. The service I received tonight at HH left a lot to be desired. There was no "how are you doing", "can I get you anything else, " would you like another drink", "how are you liking your food". None of that. My bill came out to $70 and I was by myself. That included 2 drinks, a starter, and an entree with a side. I could spend that money ANYWHERE else in Addison or Dallas at large, so spending that amount of money has to be worth my while. Tonight, it wasn't because of the service. The restaurant wasn't busy. The bar wasn't busy. So why the coldness? As I said above, I haven't been here in some time, primarily because the happy hour significantly worsened. The service I encountered tonight will ensure that I never return here again. Read that back twice.

Yelp
Food (4/5): We got everything under The Raw Bar section. 3 kinds of oysters all from Prince Edward Island: Malpeque, Pink Moon, and Conway Cups. The oysters were not labeled, so we weren't sure what was what. 2 of them were great, but 1 was not good at all. My friend I went with does not like raw seafood, but I wanted her to try it. We ordered both the Pressed Tuna sushi, and Spicy Salmon Crispy Rice. They were both excellent! We both think the Pressed Tuna Sushi is much better, but both were good. The chocolate silk pie was great! Very indulgent and rich. The mousse was smooth, whereas the crust was very hard to break into. Together overall it was good. Service & Ambiance: Service was great. We sat outside, it was nice!

Susan B.

Yelp
Came here with my friend for a girl's lunch. I've passed it for awhile and decided to give it a whirl. The menu is mostly seafood with a burger and couple of other good-looking things thrown in. Pricey, but I think it's worth it! I had the Beverly Salad and it was fantastic. Creamy balsamic dressing was delicious. The salad is topped with nicely seasoned shrimp, avocado, hearts of palm, tomatoes and radishes. All were marinated in something really good and the combination was perfect! I would get this again in a heart beat. My friend had the burger and it looked great. She enjoyed it very much. She was disappointed that fries didn't come with it and you have to order them separately, but enjoyed it anyway. Service was great and our server checked in on us frequently. We will be back!

David K.

Yelp
Got here at 6:30 pm on Monday so I missed the happy hour which is from 3-6pm. but I got the Beverly Salad and I was not disappointed. One of the best salads that I have ever had. The bartenders are really friendly too. There's supposed to be several locations including one in LA!

Nga N.

Yelp
The oysters were just regular East coast oysters. Nothing special. Wish they had more seafood dishes like calamari or octopus. The lobster roll was actually delicious. I guess expected more seafood dishes on the menu.

Karen J.

Yelp
The service was great. I really wish I got the young man's name who took care of us, but I didn't - big fail there. We ordered the spicy shrimp appetizer (I forgot the name. I'm really batting 1000 with this review) which was really great. Next we had the lobster roll. It was very average. The celery bits were too big and the sauce was just not impressive. Also my roll included the tip of the claw, you know that piece that is not meat but some rubbery texture instead. Yuck! The best part of our meal was the key-lime pie - it was off the chain good. Based on the terrific service, I'd give this place another try but never the lobster roll.

Lauren B.

Yelp
Pretty good! I'm vegetarian, and this is a seafood heavy restaurant, so my review may need to be taken with a grain of salt. The ambiance is great, and the space is beautiful, both inside and on the covered greenhouse/patio. The service was great and fairly quick, perfect for our party because we were on a time crunch. Avocado Dip - Just ok! I liked the chips but didn't love the actual dip. I wouldn't order it again Parmesan Truffle Fries - Very good! Super flavorful. Absolutely loved the ranch I got on the side (which almost tasted like a ranch + honey mustard combo) Key Lime Pie - AMAZING! If you are a lover of the key lime pie or average enjoyer, this is the best one you will ever have. It was actually the reason I wanted to visit! I can't think of a better dessert. 10/10 and would drop by JUST to have dessert Overall, it was pretty good, I just probably wouldn't frequent it due to limited options on the menu for me. It is worth noting their happy hour is only for customers sitting at the bar, which fills up fast.

ER E.

Yelp
Met some family for lunch recently. Service was a bit slow, which really wasn't the main issue. The food was just not good. I ordered a bunless cheeseburger and some Parmesan fries. The burger had way too much cheese and the meat had zero seasoning. The fries......were so so greasy, very salty, and overcooked. I didn't enjoy the meal at all. The server was kind enough to remove the fries from my ticket. Don't know that I would come back here again.

Frank S.

Yelp
Went here with a buddy for lunch. Very nice clean upscale decor. The menu was fantastic, I'll have to come back to try more items. I had one of their house specialties, the roasted chicken. The chicken was done to perfection. It was tender and juicy. It came with some arugula salad that was dressed in a tangy vinaigrette. And, the French fries were fantastic. They were small, thin, perfectly seasoned, and expertly crispy. The service was okay, I had to ask the waitress to repeat herself several times because I could not understand her pronunciation of words, and then I just gave up because I didn't want to create an awkward situation. The prices are high, two appetizers, two meals and two iced teas were $100 without tip. But, the food was excellent and worth overspending for this exceptional treat.

Colby K.

Yelp
In town for business and a friend took me to this location for Happy Hour. Oysters were very fresh and tasted fantastic! We sat at the bar and bartenders were extremely attentive and made sure to constantly check in out drinks as they got low. The lemon drop martinis were incredible and the lemon foam on top was something I've never experienced before. I also had the cheeseburger and not sure what they put in it but it was perfect! Will definitely be back when I'm in town.

Christy O.

Yelp
The vibe is 100% on point!!! We went after the last day of school!! The happy hour is fantastic and the servers are super sweet and helpful. The stone fruit martini is bomb and the lemon drop is fantastic. This is one of the best happy hour places in the area!!

Mel N.

Yelp
Happy hour review. Weekdays 3-6 pm at the bar only. The bar is pretty big but on a busy Friday (at 4p) had a hard time finding seats and it's open seating, so there is no formal wait list. So it can be disorganized. Came at 3 another day and got a spot easily. It was pretty full when we left around 4? The big happy hour special is the $10 cheeseburger (normally $16). It comes with a big pickle. The cheeseburger is good and has 2 patties. Pretty filling, so I say come hungry. I really liked the pickle too. Wouldn't pay full price for it because I would want something more unique at that price point. The oysters are $3 each during happy hour. Which you can get oysters for a better price elsewhere during happy hour... Minimum of 6 to an order. Martinis are half off which come to $7. That's ok pricing. They have a variety and a few of them looked good. Tried the hazelnut one which is a twist on your typical espresso martini. I recommend checking out their happy hour but it can be tough because of the timing and it being bar only.

Yelp
Everything about this restaurant is special. Their menu is small but anything that you pick will be the great. They claim to have the coldest martinis and after tasting three in a row, I agree. The lemon drop martini has a foam on top that is one of kind yumminess.

Yelp
Delicious French Chicken with shoestring fries and a wonderful, fresh salad dressed with creamy balsamic dressing. The chicken was thinly sliced. Anisa was our server who recommended the French Chicken- all 4 of us cleaned our plates! We excited eating on the patio and felt well taken care of! We will be back!

Yelp
My son has this delivered to me every year for my birthday. I always get the French chicken and the key lime pie. Both are so delicious and have so much flavor

Yelp
This place was a good vibe but feels like they thinks it's in Southern California and it's just Dallas Texas. Some of the servers have a bit of an uppity attitude. But I wanted to look past it. I heard so much about the burger and how good it was. Well to keep it short, the burger was OK. Wasn't the best but wasn't the worst. The bun is really just overpowering and too much. The meat is fresh, but the flavor isn't amazing.

Yelp
Great for happy hour! The burger and lobster roll was amazing. My friend had the steak Frits and it was so buttery! All martinis are the perfect strength

Yelp
Huge Hudson House fan. The Addison location has always been consistent in their service and food quality. The ambiance is also a huge part of why we come. Whether you're dining in their main room, at the bar, or on their enclosed patio, Hudson House never seems to miss. Their drink variety is simple and classy, and their oysters are delicious. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time if you want to guarantee you and your party a table during busy hours.

Yelp
Enjoyed a delicious lunch at Hudson House. I had the Beverly salad and my husband had a cheeseburger and truffle Parmesan fries. We both had bloody Mary's. The food was delicious and the service was terrific, attentive and genuinely courteous. The restaurant was crowded with many groups enjoying cocktails and brunch, as well as families spending time together. It would not be ideal for a quiet meal! Would definitely return for oysters and cocktails at the bar.

Yelp
Wow this chicken is truly one of my favorite! It is so juicy, tender & flavor is great, it's a tad salty but didn't stop me from finishing my plate! The fries & salad was SO good, I upgraded for the truffle parm fries that are my fav! Oysters were great & salmon crispy rice was delish. I'll definitely be trying the newly opened Houston location too! Service was great & vibes inside are beautiful. The decor is so stunning!

Yelp
My first time at Hudson House was a very nice culinary experience (even if we did have to sit outside in the scorching Texas heat to avoid a wait). We arrived around 4:30PM not expecting the restaurant to be busy, but there was a 30-45 minute wait for a table inside so we elected to sit on the patio which was very cute. The martinis were well-made and very refreshing in the heat. The popcorn chicken was seasoned well, crispy on the outside, and super juicy on the inside. Our entrees were both delicious and came out very quickly. The chicken parm was a hearty serving of breaded chicken and pasta, which had a nice little kick to it! Quite a heavy meal. The Mantauk tuna salad on the other hand was very light and refreshing, while also being very flavorful. Sharing these two entrees was a great way to have a satisfying meal.

Yelp
The French Chicken is amazing. Chicken is cooked properly not overcooked, so tender and moist! Salad is great. Sauce compliments very well. I heard about the happy hour. Will check on it next time! The place is lovely and clean. Service is wonderful.

Yelp
After conducting research on yelp, I ordered the lobster roll and it tasted sooo fresh. It seriously tasted as if they caught the lobster within the same hour that they made my dish lol. Also skinny fries might be my new favorite as it was super crispy. The restaurant felt like an airport lounge to me in a good way. Service was fast and efficient to say the least. I will be coming back to try the french chicken and oysters.

Yelp
Stopped by Hudson House for Sunday brunch with some friends. I can't remember what used to be here before Hudson House popped up, but I am so glad it is here now! When you arrive, parking is fairly easy and there is plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant if the front is full. The restaurant has a very modern vibe when you walk in and there is plenty of windows letting in sunlight. When we sat down the waiter told me I had to order a the Bellini (strong amounts of vodka, signature Grand Marnier floater). The drink was excellent and the Grand Marnier floater is a nice touch to this drink. For food, I ordered the Fish Tacos (blackened Atlantic redfish, mild cheddar, crispy coleslaw & Jack's salad). The Jack's salad pies very nicely with the blackened Atlantic redfish. Next time, I'll have to try the cheeseburger or lobster roll.

Yelp
I've been to this specific Hudson House location 12-15 times in the last 2 years. The service, food, ambiance, and experience are always on point. I've left positive reviews before, but today's meal warrants another. Grayson, our waiter, knocked it out of the park. As I said, our experience at Hudson House is always great, but he gave us the best experience my fiancé and I have had so far. Also - Never skip the pressed sushi, cheeseburger, or espresso martini. The silk pie, Grayson's rec, was amazing too. Hudson House rocks

Yelp
Cape Cod here I come! This is a fresh airy seafood restaurant with a beautiful upscale and relaxed atmosphere. We sat at the bar and had the most delicious lunch, I had the lobster roll and let me tell you - if you come to Hudson house and forgo the lobster roll, you are sorely missing out. It is the best lobster roll I have ever had. I also enjoyed the strawberry spritzer which was fruity and light and beautiful. The service was incredible and by the time we left, it was as if we had all known each other for years.
