"Seafood-obsessed Hudson House is getting ready to open its second outpost at 4933 Beltline Road in Addison on Tuesday, September 25. The Addison location maintains the same commitment to East Coast oysters as the original Lovers Lane spot and will add a patio with outdoor seating for 40 diners in the former Taco Diner space. Besides oysters and icy cold martinis, Hudson House is known for its seafood towers, avocado dip, chicken parm, and a cheeseburger made with two thin patties; it's also a happy-hour destination with half-off martinis, cheeseburgers, and East Coast oysters daily from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Beltline location will initially be open Monday–Wednesday 11 a.m.–9 p.m.; Thursday 11 a.m.–10 p.m.; Friday 11 a.m.–11 p.m. (kitchen closes at 10 p.m.); Saturday 11 a.m.–11 p.m.; and Sunday 11 a.m.–9 p.m., with brunch starting in the coming weeks but not at opening." - Adele Chapin
