Hudson Market really knows how to make a loyal, paying customer feel like absolute garbage. I come in daily—coffee, sandwich, routine stuff—and the guy behind the grill with the backwards hat still acts like I’m interrupting his day every single time. Today, he topped himself and told me he “doesn’t have time” for me. Must be exhausting having to do your actual job. So I did the reasonable thing and mentioned it to Chris, the manager—who, in a refreshing display of leadership, literally said he doesn’t care. Stellar service all around. Clearly, customer satisfaction isn’t even in their vocabulary. And just when I thought it couldn’t get worse—I noticed rat droppings near the buffet. Yes, rat droppings. So on top of being treated like a nuisance, you can enjoy a potential health hazard with your overpriced food. What a bonus. If you’re into miserable employees, managers who proudly don’t give a damn, and the occasional rodent souvenir by the salad bar, Hudson Market is your spot. For everyone else: run.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and got the grilled chicken caesar wrap. All the ingredients were really fresh but there was almost no dressing, so it was super dry. It also had a small amount of lettuce. Basically just a chicken wrap. The hot bar food looked insanely good, so I wonder if I made the wrong choice!

Amazing hot bar!!! Not cheap but amazing quality. Their meats compare to restaurants. Even liked their sushi: right ratio of filling and the rice has good texture.

Just save your money. Everything here is mediocre on a good day - if you’re lucky. If you’re going to be spending $15-$20 on a lunch (which is practically what everything costs at this place) you’re better off just going to a chain like SweetGreen or Chipotle. I’ve spent probably $200 at this place across all of my in-office days and I can’t remember a single time I wasn’t disappointed. I got the lemon Caesar salad today — it was heavy and greasy and just tasted flat and entirely one-note. I couldn’t get through half of it without tossing the rest because my stomach started turning. Maybe I expect too much from a lunchtime deli rush but it’s hard not to when a place like this charges as much as they do. The employees who work the food prep stations are all super kind and accommodating. They’re the only good part of this place.

We went here while staying in Chelsea. Both the sandwiches and panini were delicious, and especially liked the Hudson burger. We would like to go there again if we have the opportunity.

Nice hotbar, I come here for breakfast often as a construction worker, but the customer service is just bad. There is a man behind the counter that always scowls as me, and the woman making the coffee consistently messes up my order. Will not be coming back.

Popped in for a quick espresso. Service quick and nice enough. A bit rundown but has some good essentials in the store. Surprisingly large seating area to enjoy the espresso.
