Hui Lau Shan, a Hong Kong Dessert Chain, Opens in Redmond | Eater Seattle

"I visited the Hong Kong–based Hui Lau Shan's first permanent U.S. outpost, which quietly opened on Northeast 24th Street in Redmond, and even while the restaurant worked out kinks there were already lines out the door. The bright, inviting shop has plenty of seating and cartoon murals that trace the chain’s timeline from its 1960s beginnings as a Hong Kong herbal tea specialist to its evolution into a mango-focused dessert brand. The menu offers an array of fruit-filled desserts — mango sago bowls, mango pancakes, durian glutinous rice, and red dragon fruit slushies — and the Eastside location feels well chosen amid a local mango craze, seeming to get a head start on competitors like Mango Mango Dessert. A Hui Lau Shan rep explained, “We want to increase the productivity before we open regularly.”" - Gabe Guarente

Very pleasant experience. The desserts and drinks were refreshing and perfect for a hot day. The fruit uses organic ingredients, and you can see the fruit they are using in the store. Very clean, easy to hear each other, and quick service. Staff were polite and professional. We had mango pomelo sago dessert, mango ball dessert, watermelon swirl drink, and mango sago drink. The restroom was also clean. Overall, it was an excellent experience both in taste and atmosphere.

The desserts are great and very refreshing on a hot summer day. The prices are pretty good too, as you get what you pay for in quality and quantity. The ambience is calming and there are plenty of seats for any group size. Parking isn’t an issue either, as there’s lots of space. Ordered mango pudding and mango coconut jelly in the jar. Portions were not too little or too much and the flavor was just right. The pudding was nice and the mango didn’t taste artificial. The desserts were overall on the less sweet side, which I prefer. However, that might be a little different than expected for some people. The mango coconut jelly had lots of different toppings that made the texture unique and pleasant too. Only thing is that I wish there was a bit more mango in the mango coconut jelly because I only got like 5 thimble sized pieces. Side note: the cup was really cute and I will be using it for my plants! Overall a great experience and I will be back to try everything!

Google
You can have yummy yummy MANGO 🥭 dessert all year round!! Our favorite order is the “Mango Pomelo Sago”!! Or anything with the mango ice cream and fruit. Most of the time we come here, there are plenty of seats; no need to wait. The don’t limit dining time here and you can sit as long as you want.

Hui Lau Shan is one of the best places to have dessert, especially if you love mango, strawberries, and coconut! This place is truly a heaven for dessert lovers, offering a variety of refreshing and delicious treats. The menu has a wide selection of desserts and drinks, including Mango Desserts, Strawberry Desserts, Coconut Jelly Desserts, Homemade Snacks, Caffeine-Free Drinks, and Traditional Hong Kong Desserts. Everything is made with fresh ingredients, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. One of my absolute favorites is the Mango Coconut Noodles—a unique and flavorful dessert that is a must-try! The mango desserts are rich and refreshing, the coconut-based treats are creamy and satisfying, and the strawberry options add a nice fruity touch. The ambiance is bright and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a sweet treat. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is quick. If you’re a fan of fruity, refreshing, and traditional Hong Kong-style desserts, Hui Lau Shan is a must-visit! Highly recommended!

After a long work week, I decided to take a walk outside to enjoy some last mintue sunshine. I was craving something sweet, and as I walked, I noticed a crowd entering a dessert spot called Hui Lau Shan. Curious, I went in to check it out. The place had a great vibe. I ordered the Jelly With Mixed Fruit In Coconut and it was delicious! The jelly, fruits, and coconut were all incredibly fresh, and the portion was huge. It was so good, I even bought a second one to take home. I'll definitely be back to try more of their desserts!

Google
Hui Lau Shan is a Hong Kong based chain since 1960. They have a nice ambiance with plenty of seating. It's a great spot for a quick sweet snack or dessert. Their drink options, like Mango Jelly with Mango Juice and Mango Coconut with Sago or Crystal Jelly, are delicious and highly recommended. I tried the Mango and Coconut with Aloe Jelly, which was nice, and you can really taste the Aloe. However, my personal favourite is Mango Coconut with Sago or Crystal Jelly and highly recommended. The Durian Pancake wasn't my favorite as it tasted and smelled like medicine, but that might just be my personal opinion.

Google
I wanted to order durian mango sago and asked whether they still have durian before paying and they said yes but they are not taking dine-in anymore. After not even one minute, this is what I got. I understood that last minute order could be tough but there were still 3 or 4 more tables doing dine-ins, especially when you accepted someone’s order with a tip? I would really doubt if they just dumped in some left over coconut milk and sagos for 16 bucks. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Google
The mango desserts here are great! The taro one was a bit tasteless and disappointing - though it was nice that it came with real taro.

Yelp
I've been to this dessert chain in Hong Kong and I was so stoked to see that it was also in Seattle. I love the mango mochi, the mango is sweet and refreshing and the mochi just makes it a perfect little package of deliciousness. I highly recommend the Mango Romance if you just want a good sampler of everything mango that they have. It is an extremely casual space with a walk up counter, and it can get a bit busy/packed especially on the weekends, and while there are tables and seating, it does get crowded. You might need to bring a friend to stake out a spot. Some of their food options aren't really good with takeout though (anything with syrups, for example).

Yelp
After my flight this past Wednesday evening, my friend and I drove to Hui Lau Shan for late night dessert. Unfortunately, she is a hater and doesn't like mangoes, so we got two mango-free desserts. Still good, but I know HLS is known for their mango desserts. STRAWBERRY CHEWY BALL - 11.50 +1 for 6 more chewy balls Not too sweet! Lots of chewy tapioca balls and some slices of strawberries, along with vanilla? ice cream with a shaved ice base. Some of the balls were kind of hard, unfortunately. The shaved ice was a bit watery and not the most flavorful. Overall, this was a light option, but pricy for what it is. BLACK RICE COCONUT JELLY JAR - 9.90 I loved this one. The black rice texture was perfectly sticky and chewy. The coconut jelly was bouncy and firm, but not a strong coconut flavor though. Also not too sweet. I definitely would get this again and recommend it for coconut lovers. Thankful they open until 10 PM even on a Wednesday. Otherwise, I would have not had any dessert that evening!

Yelp
Great dessert place with refreshing flavors of mango, strawberry and others. It's the perfect dessert that isn't too heavy but instead very refreshing. I'm not a big mango person so was pleased to see they had other options including taro and coconut as well as drinks. I went for the strawberry and the rest of the group got a variety of mango ones. All very tasty. The other cool thing was the artwork on the walls. It depicts the evolution of Seattle through the decades. I'm glad I was introduced to this place, and on a last note, the staff was nice and patient, and the desserts were made very quickly.

Yelp
Imagine if a fruit salad and a spa day had a baby, and that baby opened a dessert shop in Redmond. I found my mango mecca and it's called Hui Lau Shan, Hong Kong Desserts. This place is a tropical getaway disguised as a strip mall storefront. We started with the Aloe & Aloe Jelly in Watermelon Juice, which is the most refreshing thing I've had that didn't involve a hammock and an ocean breeze. It was light, cool, and made me question why I keep drinking soda? Next up, the Mango and Coconut with Sago. It was sweet, it was savory, it was a textural rollercoaster--and like any great relationship, it didn't overwhelm me with sweetness. Just enough to say "I care," but not enough to make me examine my sugar intake for the week. We also ventured into the Jumbo Pomelo & Mango with Sago, starring a mango ice cream scoop so smooth, it made me want to rewatch Chef's Table. The chunks of mango were perfectly sweet, tender, and juicy. The only flaw? The ice. It felt like the blender said "I'm tired" halfway through and left me with a surprise glacier in every other bite. Still tasty--but a few bites were giving "chew carefully or chip a tooth" energy. To finish, we crushed a bubble waffle, because balance. Warm, chewy, bubbly perfection. Like dessert's version of a weighted blanket. Bonus points for: Cleanliness: Sparkling floors. Even the tables looked like they exfoliate. Staff: Super friendly, didn't judge us (just me and the wifey) for ordering like we were feeding a fruit-deprived village. Free claw game with orders over $40! We didn't win, but the joy of feeling our mango dessert digest while wildly failing to grab a plushie was priceless. Would I come back? Yes. Would I train my arm for the claw game beforehand? Also yes.

Yelp
Champagne mangoes are really sweet, HLS tends to vary in quality based on location. This is one of their better ones.

Yelp
This is a popular dessert chain from Hong Kong that specializes in mango and coconut desserts. I got the Pomelo and Mango Sago that was sweet and citrusy and very refreshing. I also added mochi balls that had a great chewy texture to help contrast the jelly/soup like consistency. Love this spot and definitely wanna try more of their desserts!

Yelp
Delicious drinks, mango desserts. Drinks are pricey at 9 a pop but desserts seem reasonable at 8 to 12. Mango dream is my favorite.
google avatar

Jeremy L.

Yelp
We were in the area and passed by this place. We loved all of them in Hong Kong so stopped by for a treat. 852. Aloe and Aloe Jelly in Watermelon Juice (5): Generally we get mango items but this was surprisingly amazing! Very refreshing and great watermelon flavor. 851. Mango and Mango Jelly in Mango Juice (4): One of our staple drinks. If you like mango, this is totally mangoed out. Egg Waffle (5): Can't go wrong with ice cream, boba, and mangoes in an egg waffle cone. This one disappeared quickly as well. Only issue was sticky tables and floors. Maybe we just got unlucky and sat in a spot before they cleaned up. Overall, we enjoyed our treats.

Yelp
I think you can get a taste of what traditional cantonese desserts are like? It's just so hit or miss. Sometime it's done really well and sometimes it's very underwhelming. I would say come and try it if you have never had canto desserts and try a bunch of things. If you are used to good canto dishes this might just not be the place. The other issue is the service and ambiance. The place is clean and nice but during peak traffic time its just packed and the service is really lacking. If you are around come try it out but I wouldn't say go out of your way to come here.
google avatar

Yelp
My first time visiting this location. It's spacious and somewhat clean, but the cashier was not friendly, and the black sesame chewy ball my friend ordered was very bad (watery bland sesame soup, lukewarm). When we asked for hot water on that cold day, we were told they don't have any. I've tried their mango drinks and desserts, mango coconut jelly and durian pancakes before, which were all pretty delicious. So based on all of my experiences combined, the desserts here deserve 3 or maybe even 4 stars, but this experience alone is far below my expectation.

V K.

Yelp
The coconut shake was decent & refreshing, if not life-changin and the place was impressively clean. But someone needs to tell the thermostat it's not auditioning for an Arctic expedition. It was colder inside than out, and the bathroom's lack of hot water made handwashing feel like a polar plunge. Great shake, chilly vibes.

Yelp
Quite a lot of people even on late night! The wall art is good and I love that they provide cushions for customers to sit on. Mango was fresh and tasty! Size was small but tasted really good!
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
The food was delicious and service was fast! It's kind of cold inside but the ambiance of the store is cute. Highly recommend their mango sago!
google avatar

Andy N.

Yelp
The mangoes here really are fantastic. They have boxes of them and when in season, they are simply delicious. For plant-based friends like myself, they have a few vegan options. A lot of the choices are already vegetarian but for vegans, you're limited to their mango sago and a few other toppings. This dish was perfectly sweet, creamy, and refreshing after a long day of being out. The menu isn't very clear in identifying an item as 'vegan' by nature, and instead says 'can be made vegan.' Even with the naturally vegan mango and sago, a clarifying question from me raised an eyebrow and slight attitude from the worker... I get it, it's busy but it's a fair question when your menu implies that they can be MADE vegan. Gets really busy especially at night, but lines go quickly and you should be able to find a seat unless there are way too many large groups when you visit.

Yelp
If you are a fan of mango desserts, this is the spot for you! Since I am a big fan of mango anything, I tend to make my way here for a refreshing and sweet dessert option after dinner when I'm on the east side! I've been to the Redmond and Bellevue location but I do prefer Redmond because it's more spacious inside and there's more parking available. As for the desserts that were winners for me, I loved the egg waffles with mango ice cream, mango mochi, and mango coconut with sago or crystal jelly. Everything is freshly made with ripened and sweet mangos evidenced by the stacks of mango boxes next to their work station. Although it can be quite busy, the line goes quickly so make sure you look at the menu ahead of time so you're ready for your order to be taken. Overall love this place for a mango dessert option that is freshly made and sweet!

Yelp
This place is a constant favorite of mine! I really missed having the Hui Lau Shan back in Westfield Southcenter so I came here to get their mango desserts. Inside has plenty of seating that gets filled really fast, and the surrounding parking lot also fills up at around the same speed, though I've never had issues finding any. The order counter and the kitchen are situated in the middle of the place, and lots of boxes filled with mangoes are stacked around it with seats being around them as well. The place specializes in mango desserts, so most of the menu items will have mangoes except for some items listed on their menu. You order and pay up at the counter, and you can choose to upgrade your drink to a 22 oz drink from an 18 oz drink if you want. You get a buzzer that vibrates when your drink is ready. After some confusion with my buzzer when it rang too early, I got my mango coconut drink with sago, which is my absolute favorite when I come here. With the dairy in my drink, it almost tastes like a mango milk tea, but that's probably my favorite part about it along with the sago below to add some more texture into the drink. It's also not too overly sweet, so I finished my cup very easily. Great place for mango desserts! From a previous visit, I'd also recommend their mango dessert bowls, and share them with a friend if it's too much.
google avatar

Berenice M.

Yelp
The dessert felt fresh and chewy balls gave an excellent contrast in texture. The service was fast and the there was a calm environment.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
If you're looking for all things Mango no matter the season this place will cover you. I make sure when I want something that isn't too sweet but hits the spot i pop in over here. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and greets you and makes your order quickly. There's plenty of seating although sometimes it can get kinda busy. It's a great place to grab a to go treat or sit inside and chat.
google avatar

Jason Y.

Yelp
If you love mango and are looking for a dessert place, look no further. Hui Lau Shan's selection of mango dessert and drinks are out of this world. They do have other fruit options besides mango tho. When you walk into the shop, you will see a tower of mango just lined up behind the counter so you can be confident they do use actual mangos in their drinks and dessert. We ordered the Mango and Pamelo Sago dessert and drink and they were both really good with actual chunks of mango in it. There is plenty of parking space in the plaza and there are a good number of tables inside for you to enjoy your dessert.
google avatar

Jaymee S.

Yelp
This place used to be really good, but I feel like it's gone downhill. Only the mango drinks and desserts are worth in my opinion, but last time they made my drink wrong, and there was basically no mango. It was just a frozen slushy. $11 for just a meh drink is too overpriced. HEYTEA not that far away blows it out of the water.
google avatar

Serena H.

Yelp
Their service is always so fast and their mangos are fresh! One of my top favorite dessert places. The portions are shareable too
google avatar

Veronica L.

Yelp
Some Hui Lau Shan is better then other , but my experience for this Redmond location was underwhelming. The mango dessert, which is supposed to be their specialty, was very bland and lacked any real mango flavor. Maybe it's because mangoes aren't in season, but it was disappointing nonetheless. The fruit tea was even worse--just bad overall, with no balance of flavors. It felt like an afterthought rather than something made with care. The concept is great, the place is also very cute but the execution didn't live up to expectations. Service is none existent. If mango isn't in season, they might want to adjust their recipes or use better alternatives. For now, it's just average at best.
google avatar

Marie R.

Yelp
I was in the area and since the location close to my house closed down, I was excited to see a location in Redmond. I got the coconut mango sago and my husband got a fruit tea. We also got the bubble waffle. I loved the coconut mango sago! It was perfectly sweet and they had a lot of the toppings! The fruit tea was kinda bland. The bubble waffle was also kinda bland. I feel like I need a dip to make it a bit sweeter. The space is not too bad. It's clean enough and it's bright enough. The servers are nice enough. All in all, this is not a bad spot if you're craving something sweet, but I don't think all drinks will be amazing.
google avatar

Lindsey S.

Yelp
We stopped here on a whim not knowing what to expect, and enjoyed the mango coconut noodle! My husband didn't love the texture of the coconut noodle (we honestly didn't know what we were ordering), but flavors were great. Fun little spot to stop for a treat and service was friendly and quick! Restaurant was very clean and the mango was fresh.
google avatar

Smaly K.

Yelp
My bf and I came here to try some drinks. We got the Mango & Coconut with Sago, Agar Boba & Honey Jelly in Watermelon Juice, and Passion Fruit Mango Icy. My bf also got the chicken wings to snack on. We got the chicken wings first and were snacking on that while we waited for the drinks. It wasn't too busy when we got there, but got busier as we waited for our drinks. It started taking a bit too long, and everyone else was getting their orders. I went up to the counter, waiting to get his attention to check on our drinks. He was busy making other orders and didn't acknowledge me. I waited a bit longer and finally just interrupted him, and he did forget to make me drinks. So, it was a much longer wait than it should've been. The drinks were refreshing though. I do want to give the place another try.
google avatar

Emily T.

Yelp
Huge fan of Hui Lau Shan! They have the most refreshing mango desserts! I love the mango with chewy balls! This past time, my husband and I shared the jumbo! This location is bigger than other ones I've been to and has lots of tables and seating. Service is friendly and they have bathrooms onsite. Overall a great dessert spot in the Redmond area!
google avatar

Cindy Z.

Yelp
After a spicy meal, this was the perfect thing to have afterwards. If you're a mango lover, they have all the drinks and dessert you could imagine with mangos. You can even see the boxes of mangos lined up here from floor to ceiling. I got the Mango Coconut with Sago ($7.45) for 22oz, which was only a dollar more for the upgrade. I loved everything about this drink as it was super refreshing and a perfect combination of mango and coconut with a side of the sago for some texture. While it's a tad on the pricier end for a drink, it's delicious.
google avatar

Christina L.

Yelp
I tried Hui Lau Shan for the first time and it was okay. Personally, I wouldn't pay the price tag for it. The desserts were mid and weren't insanely delicious or anything. It just tasted like a watery smoothie bowl with coconut ice cream in it. I wouldn't come back to buy it again nor would I ever crave it. But it may just not be my type of dessert. The store was a bit cluttered with tons of fruit boxes everywhere but other than that, the shop was clean.
google avatar

Yelp
I love Hui Lau Shan in Houston so wanted to have my fam try it as well while I was home in Seattle. They have a location up in Redmond that was easily assessable cause they have parking!!! Drove by and grabbed some coconut jelly desserts to-go! I was surprised to see they had different items on the menu compared to the Houston location! They had a durian, red rice, coconut jelly!! I just had to try cause the only durian they have in Houston is the Durian Stewed Milk. It did not disappoint! So darn good! The matcha one with red bean was good as well! The service was great and the desserts on the healthier side and consistent! I love this chain and love that they had different items to offer depending on location. They even allowed me to store some of my order in the fridge behind the counter while I enjoyed one in store! Lots of seating, clean, and not too busy when I went with lots of parking!
google avatar

Andy N.

Yelp
Yummy mango desserts! Cute place. Walked in with no expectations, then left delighted by the mango. Come try it! You'll probably like it if you like mango!
google avatar

Steve R.

Yelp
I recently visited Hui Lau Shan, and let me just say--it's always been one of my favorite spots for their fresh mango mochi. If you haven't tried them, I highly recommend you do ASAP. This time, I decided to switch things up and ordered the Matcha Rainbow but substituted the matcha for mango--because, let's face it, I love mango so much. It was exactly what I wanted. While I was savoring my dessert, I couldn't help but notice the stacks of mangos out in the dining area. Apparently, I wasn't the only one mesmerized. I watched as a girl picked one up, brought it to her family for everyone to touch and admire, and then casually returned it to the box like nothing happened. That moment had me wondering... did someone else touch the mango in my bowl before it made its way to me? Food for thought--literally!
google avatar

Anna C.

Yelp
This place is a bit pricey but overall the drinks are good. I ordered the pomelo mango sago and it tasted like how you would expect. Solid mango flavor with good amount of sweetness and it even came with a scoop of mango ice cream on top!

Yelp
Ambiance: small quaint little shop that has a warm atmosphere Service: standard Food: if you are itching for some lightly sweet Icy Asian dessert, this will hit the spot. Known for their mangoes and shave ice, you will also find many other concoction such as durian and strawberry desserts.

Yelp
My group and I wanted to kill time before meeting up with another friend and decided to check out this mango dessert place as I remembered some friends mentioning how the chain was really good. The location that we went to is located next to the Key Bank in the Overlake Business Center South in Redmond/Bellevue. There's a parking lot with ample stalls that won't ever be a problem. Since we were going to eat more later, we decided to choose a combo to share among the three of us. We chose the Mango Romance and also added in Durian Mochi as one of us LOVES durian. The Mango Romance had a variety of different mango preparations for us to try which was great! The day we went wasn't the season for mangoes so everything was a tad sour. But a delicious sweetish treat! My personal favorite was the mango sorbet. That was the least tarty one of them all LOL. I tried the durian mochi and there definitely was a strong durian flavor which I couldn't really handle. My boyfriend also hates durian, so everything went to the one who loved durian (more for her!). During mango season, I could definitely see this place being crazy busy! But even on off seasons, this dessert place is a great place to grab something to drink and/or eat. A different alternative to ice cream!
google avatar

Yelp
OMG!! I wanted to visit them for a while and finally did. Everything is mango and I love it! The place is very nice even when all mango boxes are on plain sight. Plenty of tables where to sit and have your desserts :) Order right away and wait a bit. Ambiance is more for families. I couldn't place my order online because I wanted the Mango Pomelo Sago and it wasn't available there. I had to order it directly their. And I also got the Mango Chewy Ball. Both were so so so so great!!! The first is like a drink mango sorbet, a scoop of mango ice cream, pomelo pieces, and small delicious crystal boba! The second is a scoop of mango ice cream on top of mango sorbet and some big elongated white balls. I don't know what they were made of. A bit hard for my taste but it's a "chewy" item, right? I'm just looking forward for my next visit! Extremely delicious!!!

Yelp
We're in the mood for dessert after dinner at Hui Lau Shan, originally from Hong Kong. We indulged in the Mango Delight Trio featuring mango from the Philippines, red beans and sago (mochi). My friend opted for the Mango Oolong Tea, Mixed Fruit Oolong Tea, and a waffle egg. We try to the waffle egg too! I adore the combination of mango, red beans, and sago (mochi). Happy tummy! Definitely worth a try!

Yelp
Me and my other half come here all the time because I love mangoes and it's a mango dessert heaven here! I always get the same thing which is the Mango Coconut Sago, it's a smoothie type drink with sago at the bottom, a mango smoothie, and creamy coconut on top. It's sooo good and I crave it all the time lol We also always get the mango mochi!! It's soooo fire! I could eat like 6 of these in one sitting, it's so soft and chewy and just perfect. We've tried other desserts which have all been good, my bf likes to try something new every time. Service is okay, they're really fast. Lots of seating available, always see people hanging out here!

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this spot for a while now and the opportunity came along to have a little visit. Navigation took me on the other side of the nearby Bank, so it took a minute to get over here. As soon as I walked in, it was really cute, spacious and clean. A ton of tables and chairs available. Clean bathrooms are always a plus. I love mango everything and there are so many items to choose from. I ended up getting the Mango Coconut with Sago which was delicious and my fav out of all the things I ordered. Also got the Strawberry Oolong Tea for the kiddo. She said it was a little watered down, I didn't try it so unsure how it actually tasted. Mango pancake was pretty good interesting. It was like a thin crepe with whip cream and fruit in the middle. Also ordered the Mango Coconut Noodle which was light and refreshing. Overall, I liked it and will be back to try other items
google avatar

Yelp
They have delicious (but expensive) desserts. If you're a fan of mangos, welcome to your new haven. Hui Lau Shan is a small but delicious shop. Their service is decent and they definitely do not shy away from the mangos in their sweet treats.
google avatar

Mikah M.

Yelp
A little bit pricey but absolutely worth it! If you love fresh fruit this is the place to go. I got the Coconut Mango Sago and it was super delicious!! I am not the biggest fan of mango but the mango was perfectly ripe and fell apart in my mouth. We went around 7pm and it was absolutely slammed but they were doing their best to keep up. It was around 25 minutes from getting in the door to getting our orders. Their seating areas are comfortable, and all of the decor was super cute. This is now one of my new favorite dessert places and I can't wait to go again in the future!
google avatar

Kyle W.

Yelp
A pretty decent HK style dessert place that has an extensive mango menu as well as, to a lesser extent, strawberry and even durian options. We shared the Mango Romance as it has a little bit of everything as well as the Strawberry Crisp. Mango Romance has a mango mochi, some mango slices, the crystal jelly, and the mango smoothie with chewy balls bowl. Mango is quite fresh. The Strawberry Crisp is not really crispy but it is like a cake with a layer of strawberry frozen cream and some frozen strawberries. It is nice to try but I probably wouldn't really recommend unless you want something strawberry that is not super substantial. The desserts are quite delicious. However, for dine-in, for such an aesthetic place, it was a bit off-putting to still use plastic containers instead of actual bowls that can be washed, for the environment.

Yelp
I only ordered 2 drinks, I didn't order any bowls. It was good. If you have kids it's a nice spot to stop at. My kids enjoyed it but they said it has to many jellies. They are 14 and 9 and that was their feedback on it. Which they usually love these drinks. If I was in the area I might try it again but something different. It just depends on what you like. It's was really cute on the inside, and a greta spot if you have a group of teens or something that want to get a treat after practice because it's spacious. Definitely a cool spot for kids or teens.

Yelp
Stopped by a couple nights ago for dessert. Tables weren't really maintained although it was decently filled inside (a little less than 50%). My husband and I shared a mango chewy ball (blended mango base with diced fresh mango, sorbet, and boiled mochi balls on the side). Mango was refreshing and while there were different textures, overall it lacked flavor variety. I liked the chewiness of the mochi but my husband did not. Would likely select something else next time like one of their drinks (as I was eyeing the mounds of dragonfruit in the display case).

Yelp
The mango sago drink was excellent. It was not too sweet (which usually a lot of desserts are!). The top is milk, mango puree, and sago. A very interesting mix of texture. The mango is excellent quality. I also ordered the black glutinous rice with coconut pudding. Although, I have tried a better coconut pudding before that is smoother and not as 'choppy'. Again, the dessert is not too sweet, so it was great The place is also very cozy and warm. I love hanging out here. thank you for the opportnity to try it!

Yelp
I can't believe it took me this long to try a mango dessert shop! Practically everything on the menu has mango, but there are some that don't (ie. durian, melon). All of the fruit they use is fresh (proof of all the fruit boxes laying in the shop) so highly recommend you try everything! Of the things I've tried so far: 1) Mango Romance - If you want to try a little bit of everything, including the mango mochi, highly recommend the romance! None of the desserts were particularly sweet, which I appreciated, even the ice cream! 2) Mango Chewy Ball - The dessert includes chewy balls, ice cream, and mango fruit. The size of this dessert is shareable as well! 3) Mango & Mango Jelly in Mango Juice - When I am craving a drink rather than a dessert, this juice is so delicious, and extremely refreshing! Again, it is not too sweet either. FYI you cannot change the sweetness level. I'm thankful my best friend introduced me to this mango dessert shop! Whenever I am in the area (or in the area of their downtown Bellevue location) I will definitely stop by. Their prices are a bit high but other than that, I have no complaints. :)

Yelp
Amazing. This place is very consistent with their service which is timely and their food doesn't just take customizations they take it to the next level. The menu is growing but if you love Mangoes you have to come hereThe ambiance of the place is family friendly. The only thing that I would change is the seats. They are uncomfortable and I honestly would prefer if they got seating pads to help.

Yelp
Their mango collection is ! My favorite dessert place in the area. It is absolutely a treat and it could just make your day if you are down for some reason! The coconut jelly is totally worth a try ! The mango duo and delightful trio are amazing ! They have this durian mochi! I tried it and it felt super weird initially but I kind of started liking it after eating it again. May be it is an acquired taste ??! Overall it's a little pricey, I won't deny that but it is absolutely worth the experience.

Yelp
Quick, less sinful mango dessert that you may not regret eating. I was cynical of this place when I first tried a couple of years ago. But now...Have been here and at its other location so many times for quick bite that I may as well get a subscription ;) I can't believe forgot to review this all this while I would suggest try the redmond location That has more seating and parking outside. My favorite dessert here is their mango delightful trio - which has sticky rice, mango pieces, manho slushy and creamy coconut milk. They have other varieties too but this one is my favorite.

Yelp
3 stars for the Mangos 0 star for the order and service My first time checking in since they grand open years ago. I had the original in HKG before. Upon check in, no one was at the ordering station. Than, a guy with glasses and long dark hair came to the cashier. His hair is untie and doesn't look too sanitary behind the food counter. I asked a couple questions about two style of desserts. Each of his respond is blunt and with one-word. He is just not friendly/welcoming. Sure... it's a fact it's hard to find work force after the pandemic or whatever... Anyway, the mango is fresh, tasty and chunky in a good way. The mango bowl is not overly sweet is a very good thing. Would I come back for more? Probably not. All I can think of was his floating long hair and yellow dessert.
