Very friendly staff all working together to make wonderful dishes. I visited in the early morning of Saturday right before the 11am pizza window opened. A perfect Greek salad with a buffalo chicken pizza hit the spot with an unsweet tea that was always refilled. With seats at the bar or inside/outside tables it was getting busier by the minute. With food that tasted so fresh and friendly staff it was a great experience for a visitor to the town.

I stopped in for lunch while on a work trip from Jacksonville. I ordered the basic pepperoni. I wanted a basic fountain drink or coke, which pairs well as a staple with pie. There was no options for fountain drinks, only alternatives for canned products for more pricey brands like Virgils. They only had IPAs and microbrews. Lost opportunity here. The pie itself was okay. The sauce was not watery and had a decent chunkiness to it, which I liked. Spice and flavor was okay, slightly acidic, could benefit from a little sweetness to cut it. The crust however was disappointing. Very thin, so no chew to it. Wood fired, but no flavor gained from smoke or wood selection. Crust was bland and flavorless. Needed some olive oil to give it any complexity. Had a powdery aftertaste and no semolina. Tasted like grandma's biscuit dough remnants. Pepperoni was not greasy, but it probably wouldn't hurt to mask the dry dough... Overall, it was acceptable, but with tweaks to the recipe it could be pretty good or even great. It just left me wanting more and think of better pies I've had previously. Especially for the price point on a 10" personal, value isn't really there. Service was good. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful. But after ordering at the counter, there's no further hospitality. Atmosphere was fun, bright, and youthful. Environment was clean and inviting.

Food was ok. Pizza nothing to run home about. A bit expensive for the small 10 inch you get. The toppings and pizza itself tasted really fresh though so that was a big positive. Overpriced soda. Garlic knots were super disappointing. They looked good and seemed to have good intentions but weren't good. Maybe just bad time. Chocolate cookie tasted like the mixture of brown sugar wasn't right. Tasted clumpy 4 adults with cookie, 3 drinks, and garlic knots each getting a pizza was over $100 plus a 10 dollar tip. Not much service after delivery of pizza.

The menu is super flexible. They were easily able to accommodate my gluten/dairy allergy without having to make it vegan which made me super excited since I do still eat meat.

This place is awesome!! I've there both for dinner and brunch and love everything i've tried so far Everything is fresh, healthy and so delicious The pizza is super yummy, you can taste is made with real tomatos. The lavender cheesecake and citrus olive oil cake are also really good Love they have plantains as an option for some of the brunch dishes. The coconut mint yogurt is unexpectely delicious and the expresso coffees great The service and ambiance also fantastic I'll 100% stop by again

If you haven’t been downtown lately, you should really consider going to this fantastic pizza restaurant. But it’s much more than that. They have an extensive menu of Italian cuisine. I had the pizza and a Caesar salad. Try the draft beer. The Citra Hazy IPA is really great paired with the margarita pizza. The outdoors seating makes it a great venue for enjoying the music from Heartwood Sound Stage. Be sure and enjoy a dessert like the Wooopi Carrot Cake pie. Oh my goodness. It is Soooo good. Enjoy 😊

Breakfast burritos for the WIN! And a mimosa with fresh squeezed OJ. Dog friendly and brunch at 9am on the weekends is right up my alley. Loved it over here🫶🏻

Yelp
This is one of the best pizza places in Florida. It is very vegan and vegetarian friendly with delicious and creative ingredients. I highly recommend the Clifton and the Local. They are so good. The terrazzo tables are gorgeous and unique and the bathrooms are so clean and pretty. Staff were friendly and communicative. I love it!!

Yelp
During my date day with my husband we were exploring depot park in Gainesville and we found this little foodie gem. We sat at the bar and watched our pizzas being made. We ordered one with pepperoni and sausage and the margarita. The pizzas were made very quickly and the employees were very friendly. I also ordered the homemade kumbucha. The Blue ginger was delicious!!!! The only thing is the pizzas were a bit small for the price. But the quality was great.

Yelp
Fun ambiance and location. It's several restaurants/breweries in a row in a cute eclectic area. Inside is a trendy warehouse feel. Order & pay at the counter, take a number to your table and they bring the food out. Appreciate the filtered water that you can refill as needed. Had a calzone, 2 gluten free pizzas and a salad. The salad and dressing were quite good. The calzone and gf pizzas were just ok. We love gf pizza & although theirs looked nice and kind of fancy, it just wasn't that tasty. The calzone was regular (not gf) & that also was just okay. Would return if others are going, but otherwise probably won't. Do appreciate their vision, gf offerings and ambiance.

Yelp
I came here with a group of friends recently and we had a great time! Located near downtown, Humble Wood Fired Pizzas is in a great location that is very inviting. The ambiance is so fun and we really appreciated all the fairy lights and decorations outside. The ordering is very simple, you order at the counter and they serve your food to you. It isn't really a sit down restaurant, but people still serve you. I found this to be nice as it made the eatery feel very laid back and more enjoyable. The service is good and the staff is very friendly. They are definitely on top of things, keeping the restaurant clean, and customers satisfied. The interior has a unique, rustic feel to it. I liked the dimmed lights as it added to the ambiance. The food is a little pricier, but you are paying for high quality dishes. The portion sizes are decent, although the pizzas are only 10". Now for the food. One of my friends and I ended up ordering are own salads and split a pizza. She ordered a small Caesar, while I ordered the large house salad with chicken, and we split the Bianca pizza. My other two friends split the Margarita pizza. The food doesn't take too long to come out, roughly 10 minutes at max. Our salads came first, mine took slightly longer because I added chicken to it. The caesar included romaine lettuce, housemate croutons, grated parmesan, and a cashew caesar dressing. My friends both enjoyed their Caesar salads noting that they had a lot more flavor than your traditional caesar. The house salad includes local organic mixed greens, red cabbage, shredded carrots, sliced almonds, sunflower sprouts, and a green goddess dressing. I really enjoyed this salad and thought the various greens and sprouts added a nice flavor to the dish. I added chicken to it and it paired very nicely with the other flavors of the salad. The dressing was also very good and tangy. The pizzas are all handmade and cooked in a wood fired burning oven. The Bianca includes herb infused olive oil, ricotta, roasted garlic, arugula, mozzarella, and parmesan. this pizza was really good and all the various cheese balanced each other out nicely. The ricotta was creamy, the parmesan was sharp, while the garlic and basil enhanced the pizza. The crust was cooked perfectly as well. A very good pizza! My other two friends also really enjoyed their Margarita and liked the freshness of the sauce and basil. Overall, I would recommend Humble Wood Fired Pizzas for lunch or dinner. They are such a fun environment and it is a perfect place to meet up with friends to hang out. They offer a nice variety of pizzas, salads, and appetizers. While it is pricier, you are paying for quality. The atmosphere is so fun and we really enjoyed the location. There is parking available as well. I cannot wait to return and explore more of their menu!

Yelp
This is actually a relay convenient location in downtown. Plenty of parking and super walkable. The space is a bit small but offers enough outdoor seating. The staff was is friendly and helpful. The vibes are energetic and fun. The food however left a lot to be desired in my opinion. Starting with the eclair. The eclair was extremely cold. Almost like it was thawing out. Felt hard and unpleasant. It was also pretty expensive compared to some of the menu items. It was $7.50 and was a pretty some eclair. Would not purchase that again. The latte was actually pretty good and would order that again. The pizza left a lot to be desired. The crust was actually nice. Crispy dough from the wood fire with a good color but the flavor was truly lacking. Their toppings are a bit more expensive. I was disappointed because I added pesto to mine and it didn't have any pesto. I also added sausage and the it was just bland. The pizza felt simple and not worth the price. Their sauces are also quite pricey for such a small amount. My friends who order some of the breakfast items seemed to really enjoy it so I think they have potential but just feel short on my experience

Yelp
Stopped in Great Scheme last weekend and decided to grab some food. Fortunately, there is a place that adjoins them and allows you to order food and they will bring it over. Walked in thinking I would get a salad, but saw they had build your own calzones, so ordered a bratwurst, spinach, and mushroom calzone (see picture). They are a bit pricier than some spots, but the quality of the ingredients is very nice. I absolutely love woodfired pizza and the cheese was buttery and really added to the experience. I ended up asking for more marinara, which was the highlight. Great tomato flavor with a spicy kick. Atmosphere is very rustic, like Grand Scheme next door (where I ate). I will definitely consider it when I am in Gainesville again.

Yelp
After a long, wet bike ride on the Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail (and finding another pizza establishment closed on Sundays), I suggested Humble to my Meetup Group. I had enjoyed their pizzas when they operated out of a food truck at Depot Park - so I knew it would be a hit. I'm happy to say that they were more than just a hit - they wowed the crowd! Accommodating, courteous, helpful staff Delicious, filling, flavorful food All in a rustic, but pleasant setting. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon

Yelp
Very cute place on main street serving unique flavors of pizza and amazing food. The wait staff was super nice and accommodating, and also checked in halfway through. The location like I said is really cute and kind of fucked away. I got the Bianca Pizza, which had herb infused olive oil, ricotta, roasted garlic, arugula, mozzarella, and parmesan. I was expecting it to be whatever, but i actually really enjoyed it. It was so much better than I anticipated. The garlic knots were also amazing. I wish the red sauce was a little thinner, but it was super good. They were a great consistency and absolutely slathered in garlic, which is just how I like it. I'd definitely recommend trying this place out and stopping by! I've also heard they have great brunch.

Yelp
It is not a very big or very small place. I liked it a lot, because the place feels and looks a bit rustic. The employees are very attentive and friendly. I ordered a salad, rather a delicious salad, very fresh and the vegetables felt and tasted wonderfully rich.

Yelp
This is another cool restaurant in Key West. We were seated promptly and our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the calamari and the bruschetta and both were delicious. I had the seafood pasta and it was delicious. The other entrees looked good as well. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
A Gainesville MUST! They have so many plant based/GF options which makes this a go to for everyone. The vegan breakfast sandwich is a MUST TRY. I have tried all of the bagels and I can't decide between the salted rosemary and the marbled rye for the best I hate mushrooms but the shiitake bacon is Awesome! PRO TIP: order online because they get VERY busy and you will wait ~45 minutes

Yelp
This is a great pizza place, perfect to grab lunch or brunch after a bikeride on Hawthorne trail. The dough is very fresh, and has a great flavor- it was a good vehicle for my pizza. I loved that the food came out hot, almost straight out of the pizza oven. My fungi pizza was good, just a tad salty l- I suspect it was the almond Alfredo sauce. I've never had anything like it, though, and would probably get it again- but they have so many options I wouldn't be against trying something new. The calzone was perfection, though! The cheesy stayed oozy throughout the 30 min we ate after it arrived, and it was generously stuffed. The staff were really great, too- went out of their way to take care of us. Only issue with service was they gave us the wrong beer order, but it wasn't a huge deal. I loved the atmosphere- very industrial with some "hipster" vibes. The porch is welcoming, and we would've loved to have ate there if it wasn't for the rain. Next time we want to try their weekend brunch!

Yelp
Rustic inside and very quaint. Loved their Greek salad but my only complaint is that it had a lot of pepperonis and olives and not much greens. I wish the portion was more balanced. The pizza was good but toppings would easily fall off. Good flavor all around. We got 2 salads and one pizza for $31 so it was alright. Not sure if if be coming back or crave it per say but it was ok. Service was quick and ambiance was laid back . I saw some people studying so it was a quiet environment good for working from this location.

Yelp
I was there Thursday 3-20-2025 around 6:30pm, ordered a pizza, it was cold when they brought it out, the bottom was mostly black completely burnt spots and the top was not cooked enough, not sure how this is possible with that giant flaming oven, I should have sent it back

Yelp
Prepare for disappointment. The most overpriced underwhelming pizza I've ever experienced. Their recipe is as such: one thin pepperoni per slice atop a measly tablespoon of sauce and ~1.3 mm of crust I'd liken to WWII hardtack about the diameter of a lunchables pizza. Get ready to seat yourself at concrete benches seemingly imported from Leavenworth and to be served by a gang of lethargic idling NPC's. Be warned: nothing of value resides within this desolate hipster shanty.

Yelp
Ordered a calzone, 2 pizzas, and order of garlic rolls. I'd give the zesty rolls 4.5 stars but everything else was 3. Was told calzone would take 20-25 minutes. "No problem. We're in no hurry but could you please have everything come out same time?" Cashier nodded yes. Hip ambience inside and out. Sat outside, which overlooks lil farmers market (4-7 every Thursday). Maybe 10 minutes after we ordered, the first pizza brought to our table. Same cashier sets it down and says, ""They come out when they come out." So overall, the ambiance was great with decent food and service. Wanted to give them at 3.5 but yelp doesn't allow half points.

Yelp
The food is fab, we tend to go for coffee and brunch/breakfast but the pizza is also fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough. I may even go as far to say... top coffee place in Gainesville (don't come for me). The lattes tend to be the right amount of sweetness but the coffee really shines through. On top of everything: the service is great, we love the staff (v welcoming and kind) and have always had a great experience. They have a lovely outdoor seating area, so the ambience is perfect rain or shine. Pricing is more than reasonable, especially for a local eatery.

Yelp
Delicious food and great, quick service. The inside is cute but there are not a ton of spots to sit, although it wasn't crowded so it wasn't a problem when I went. The pizza was delicious and the desserts looked so good, will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
ive been to humble wood fire bagel shop and LOVED it so i knew i had to try their pizzeria. we came in friday close to 6. there wasnt any wait which was nice. they have both indoor and outdoor seating but we chose indoor. you order at the counter then they bring it out to your table. they also had a pastry case that even had vegan/gluten free options! i got a double chocolate chip buckwheat cookie (vegan & gf) for after dinner. for dinner i got the bbq chicken pizza on gf crust with vegan cheese. my bf got the local pizza. we both really enjoy our pizzas! and the chicken on mine was perfect. the cookie was crunchy on the outside but soft and melty on the inside it was delicious!

Yelp
Me and a friend went here for dinner one night. I am vegan and she is not. We both had a really great dinner. We both ordered pizzas and we're able to customize with the toppings of our choice. The staff there is so friendly and willing to answer any questions. The vibes were chill and laid back with seating inside and outside. If you want a good pizza in Gainesville this is a stop to make.

Yelp
The owner is rude to customers and his employees. I'm from out of town and was excited to try the pizza which was just okay but overall bad experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolute best vegan fungi pizza ever! And if that's delicious, I'm sure their traditional pizzas are! Friendly staff. I only wish they were open more days during the week!

Nicole A.

Yelp
Great pizza, great garlic knots, excellent canoli. The service was so friendly as well. Nice vibes on a Monday night, a little tricky to get into parking lot because it's in the back but there was a sign in street pointing how to get there. We wish we lived closer to Gainesville so we could come here more.

Yelp
Tried the brunch out this morning. Everything was incredibly salty. Don't recommend. Maybe pizza is good no brunch

Phil A.

Yelp
Went for brunch, had the eggs Benedict gluten-free option. Hands down, best gluten-free breakfast bread I have ever had. They make it in-house and seem to have nailed the recipe. Actual bread unlike the frozen-trucked-in bread so typical at restaurants. The gluten-free peeps know what I mean! Rest of the party enjoyed the breakfast sandwich on homemade English muffin, and the Big Belly Burro/bowl.

Yelp
Customer service -10/10. Walked in wasnt greeted at all just a bunch of stares & turning around like they were too busy to even say " hey we'll be right with you". Stood there for over 5 mins & still nothing. Ended up walking out after not being greeted and wasn't able to even place an order. Not cool at all.
