Artmosphere - Review - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"If you’re feeling a bit of malaise around the start of 2022, crank up the energy and head to Artmosphere this Saturday, January 15th. The immersive event Downtown runs from 7pm-midnight and will feature live music, art installations, and dance DJs, plus aerial and circus performers. Early bird tickets are $30 or it’s $50 at the door. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

This is a fantastic venue. I want to keep it my little secret but the hosts are amazing people and the venue is beautiful.

I loved it. I was taken aback because of the location but let me tell you that after I walk in, I was transported to another dimension. There is valet parking, certainly a plus. Inside you are provided with every you need. The event took place worry free. I would def. recommend it. It made me appreciate what Los Angeles has to offer.

Went to the warehouse right next to it, because that's where my son and his fiancée got MARRIED!!! The wedding was extraordinarily unique and wonderful, and everyone there had a blast! So we must have been in the building next to this one. The most unfortunate part of this whole experience -- for both the wedding and the wedding rehearsal three nights earlier -- was that there were all these horrible, horrible tow trucks taking up most of the parking spaces out front, on both sides of this side street, and I thought that was just awful. Oh, well. The wedding was exquisite and fun and romantic and happy and everything good. Tomorrow, it will be exactly two weeks that they'll have been married.

Great place to make music videos, very friendly staff and accessible rates. We needed an extra our to finish our project and they were very cool about giving us more time.

Absolutely terrible. Was hired by a third party to play piano at an event there, and staff/management were, hands down, the rudest and most unprofessional I have encountered in my career. For starters, their grand piano is broken, and completely unplayable. And that was the least of the venue’s problems. The sound guy wasn’t just rude; he was verbally abusive. And apparently, there was some issue with their permit situation, to where the venue owners were threatening to pull the plug on our event, and ranting about being shut down by the police and fined? The event producer (poor guy) who hired me was absolutely horrified, and handling all that, right as I was leaving... Mind you, the space was so chaotic and such a ceaseless dumpster fire, I walked out before the event even started, assuming it ever did start.

Yelp
Love coming here for two days of filming. The stages were cool. Peter has an AMAZING personality and it's so thoughtful, considerate, kind, and creative. The area outside is not safe, there are a lot of homeless people and their houses. We got shuttle to location from a near by parking lot. The inside of the location was great. Plenty of different sets, and space.

Yelp
Had my daughter's quince at this place! It's definitely a unique place. Most of my guest left saying it was one of the best party they ever been too. We had open bar and the best tacos ever! It has a lounge feel to it. There's much to see and great places to take pics. Peter and maria are the best host you can ask for. Peter will go out of his way to make sure you're event is a success. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something fresh and different! Seeing my daughter's face smiling all night made the night, perfect!

Yelp
The owners of this business are INCREDIBLY rude and unprofessional. I was doing makeup at this space which my boss privately rented for a photo shoot. When we first arrived, the owner was going on and on about how ultrasounds cause autism in babies (???) so me and the hairstylist were already weirded out. She asked to borrow an extension cord, and my boss asked if they had a speaker we could use (if not I had my little Bluetooth speaker for our models to use, but the owner said we could use his laptop to play music). We had topless & nude models, and were already getting annoyed that the owner was going in and out when he said he would be next door cleaning the other room. Then he let TWO RANDOM MEN enter the building to "take a photo" of this clown statue they had. Those men wandered around the entire building interrupting our work, and ogling the women. We had to tell the men to get out!!!! Already so unprofessional! They talked to and bothered one of our models, even. We were running a few minutes over our 2pm wrap time, when the next group arrived for their 2:30pm appointment. The owner TOLD US, they are early, you still have 27 minutes to pack up, so don't rush. They tried to come in early and HE TOLD THEM they were early and to please wait outside and locked the door until we finished packing up. We were out by 2:10pm, and they still had 20 minutes to set up before their 2:30pm slot. Now that it's over, the owner's wife had the AUDACITY to say we were "unprepared" because we asked to use basic things like the stereo, and that WE rudely kicked out the next party. Uhm, no. She also claims we must "hate men" and were "nasty" to her husband, which simply isn't true. He let us in, he got us set up, he should have LEFT after that until our wrap time like every other venue. Save your hard earned money and find a better location.

Yelp
We were here recently for an audition my kid participated in. Very interesting place! It was perfect for that particular process because there were separate rooms to move and sort people. I could see this place being very useful for many different kinds of events. Very comfortable.

Yelp
I am planning a party and was interested in this space as a potential location. I sent an inquiry with all the details of my event---type of event, number of people, hours, etc. I heard back and we scheduled a walk-through. When I arrived at the venue and called, the woman who answered seemed to have forgotten our appointment. She wasn't welcoming. She said they don't often have events like ours, even though it was listed as available for parties on the website, and that they can't go late, even though the website lists the venue as available 24 hours a day. I had put both of those details in my initial inquiry. It felt like she didn't want to rent to us. We were out of there again within 5 minutes of arriving. I don't know what happened, but it was a bad experience and a total waste of my Saturday. Don't recommend.

Yelp
GREAT GREAT GREAT event space in the heart of downtown. The venue has rustic décor that creates a warm yet sleek atmosphere. Stage with state of the art system, lights, cozy lounge areas, bar, VIP area, and a HUGE working kitchen. I've used the space twice, once for a fashion brand launch event and the second time for a birthday party. I also recommended the venue to a friend for her upcoming wedding, The owners are the best, full of ideas how to make your event perfect and go out of their way to help. Because of the location, (in a cul-de-sac surrounded by sweatshops that close at 5pm) parking is AMAZING and free after 6pm. I just wish I could give this space 10 stars.

Yelp
Cheap to rent. Eclectic decor. Owners are pleasant to deal with. One package you should take advantage of is the sound system/party light package Its a nice professional sound system. I have organized parties before. In my experience one Speaker costs 150 each to rent. You get 4 speakers and party lights for 200$ !!!. Plus you don't have to transport them back to return the next day. Really convenient for busy and lazy people like myself Bathrooms are clean and well maintained.

Yelp
A friend of mine just had her engagement party at this venue. I was a really cool and unique space. She was very happy with the owners and how flexible that are! It looked amazing and it was. Fabulous night! The only negative thing I have to say is that the a/c was not very strong and it was hot.
