Orlando’s 38 Best Restaurants | Eater Miami

"As sons of missionaries in Guadalajara, Joe and David Creech appreciated the intricacies and nuances of Mexican cuisine at a very early age, and that appreciation blossomed during the pandemic when they began making tortillas from scratch using imported blue Oaxacan corn. The result: tacos and quesadillas of the highest order, stuffed with items like veal cheeks or chorizo and potato. But the birria “machete” — a giant tortilla rolled in a spicy beef stew — not only speaks to the Creech’s Jaliscan roots, but has become the restaurant’s calling card. In addition, the kitchen is seed-oil free having made the switch to beef tallow and avocado oil for frying." - Faiyaz Kara

Orlando’s Best Taco Restaurants | Eater Miami

"As sons of missionaries in Guadalajara, Joe and David Creech appreciated the intricacies and nuances of Mexican cuisine at a very early age — an appreciation that blossomed during the pandemic when they began making tortillas using imported blue Oaxacan heirloom corn. The result: tacos and quesadillas of the highest order, be they stuffed with veal cheeks or chorizo and potato. But their birria “machete” — a giant heirloom tortilla rolled in a spicy beef stew — not only speaks to the Creech’s Jaliscan roots, but set the town ablaze (in a good way)." - Faiyaz Kara

15 Great Takeout Options in Orlando, Summer 2020 | Eater Miami

"Joe and David Creech, the duo behind one of the most popular taquerias in town, didn’t let the coronavirus stunt their growth any. A couple of weeks into the pandemic, the pair began making tortillas from scratch using imported blue Oaxacan heirloom corn. The result: tacos and quesadillas of the highest order, be they stuffed with veal cheeks or chorizo and potato. They’ve recently started serving birria “machete” – a giant heirloom tortilla rolled in a spicy beef stew – that speaks to the Creech’s Jaliscan roots, and has become the “It Dish” of the summer. Good thing their prickly pear margaritas and white wine sangrias are available by the gallon." - Faiyaz Kara

The tacos are amazing! This is a great casual spot with quality food at a reasonable price. Only downside is it’s only outdoor seating, which can get a little hot in the summertime.

While I like tacos, prior to 12 days ago, I never went out of my way for them unless I was in LA. On April 11th, I was not having the best day and decided to forget my troubles with a little lunch. In my life, I don’t think I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant 4 times in 12 days with the exception of my hometown Italian grocery. I am a foodie and this is the kind of place I live for. The Costra de Asada has been my favorite but I am now obsessed with the quesadillas (chicken/Rajas con Crema). Absolutely excellent. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners today, Joseph and David. These are really nice guys who take pride in what they do. Welcoming spot with killer food… Going back often.

Google
Everything was excellent! The service (Miguel, I believe?) was very kind, helpful, and attentive. The guac was fire, the tacos were fire, and the burrito… fire. It was expensive—relatively speaking. I spent about $30 for three tacos, guacamole, and a burrito. But this is one of my favorite places in Orlando so far. The food came out pretty quickly, corn tortillas, all the good stuff. Outdoor seating was plentyful, but I didn't see anything indoors. It's a smaller area where you order. They also have a counter outside where they drop the food, and I think you can order there, too. I'll definitely be back!

Google
Stumbled upon this place when running areas just north of downtown. GREAT taco - especially the brisket and chicken mole! Keep in mind the seating is outdoors but was still comfortable in late April at 2pm in the afternoon! I will visit it again. Didn’t include a picture of the food because there was nothing left. 😝

Google
OMG! This makes the Hidden Gem list! It you want some of the best street tacos in your mouth, then go here! Stumbled onto Hunger Street Tacos by accident today at lunch while in town for business. Sure Glad I did. I tried 5 different tacos and they ALL were fantastic! The vibe of the place is super cool. This place can get very busy, so expect a wait on weekends especially. The wait is 1000% worth it! This place reminds you of what taste buds are for!

Google
MY FAVORITE TACO PLACE IN ORLANDO!! I have been here multiple times. Always consistent. The meat in the tacos is fresh! The guac is sooooo amazing! The service is quick. The sitting situation sometimes can get complicated because they get busy and sometimes there are no tables to sit. But it’s worth it! I love this place!!

Google
From my children “ if we could give it 30 stars we would!” The atmosphere is fantastic and the food to die for. Great service, friendly staff members and overall an amazing experience. PS: “the potatoes are really good!”

Google
Out of a few selections( especially the ones I wanted), Guac a little bland for $9.. no lettuce. Meat and tortilla was great. Cute patio.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. The average review score should be higher as these are some of the best tacos I've ever had. Their ability to elevate pulled chicken is remarkable. The best chicken tacos anywhere! The brisket is the star though. J The Suadero is my favorite thing on the menu...unreal. Can't say anything negative about the carnitas either. Basically anything you order here is going to be fantastic.

Yelp
Other than the fact that I think Hunger Street should stay open longer (8pm is way too early for a Mexican restaurant in my opinion), I'm a big fan of this local spot. My order always includes the chicken quesadilla due to the incredibly flavorful and tender protein, and I usually jump around the menu for my second choice, which has all been quality so far. Service is quick for both take out and dine-in, which is a casual shaded outside patio.

Yelp
Items ordered: Elote, squash flower quesadilla, grilled cheese taco, vegan rajas taco Value: Overpriced Service: To-go order took about 15-20 minutes The Review: We were looking forward to trying Hunger Street Tacos because we were, in fact, on Starving Street. The staff were incredible, explaining all of the options, ingredients, addressing dietary needs. However, the food doesn't exactly hit the mark. The elote was boiled in a "bone broth" and then covered with Mayo. Should have just been grilled/charred like typical elote! Tortillas were a bit dry and inside of the quesadillas, the cheese was burnt to a black crisp. The best part were the various salsas that came with the meal. I'm wondering if we came at the wrong time of day? We really shelled out to try a bunch of different things on the menu. Unfortunately, cost a lot for okay food.

Yelp
We stopped in and tried this restaurant for the first time and we were very pleased. Alex was so helpful in our navigation of the menu and recommendations were spot on! The Jamaica and limeade were delicious. Hunger Street Taco is definitely worthy of a return trip!

Yelp
5 Stars for some of the best tacos and quesadillas in Orlando. This stuff is legit. I've been a fan of HST since they opened (this is my third review update because my last one was deep into the COVID shutdown) and today's meal just further emphasized the fact that their commitment to great ingredients continues to wow. My current faves, as someone with stomach issues who can't handle a lot of heat, are the Mañanero (featuring scrambled eggs, brisket, and beans on a corn tortilla) which is filling and whose green salsa adds the perfect acid touch; and the chicken quesadilla (with chihuahua cheese that's browned and flavorful). I never thought I'd vouch for a quesadilla, but this one would convert anyone. They have options for meat eaters as well as plenty of vegan & vegetarian options and they're locally owned. This is still one of my local faves and deserves all the love!

Yelp
Having driven past for many years I finally got a chance to stop in for a bite to eat. Seating is outdoors but we ordered inside. Service was fast. The tacos were on point but I have to say the winner was the Elote for sure. A lot of cheese but the corn was perfect.

Yelp
This was a nice experience recently. The tacos were quite amazing. I had two El Mananero's: seared brisket with chorizo with scrambled egg. I also had the Costilla which was a St. Louis rib and heirloom corn tortilla. My wife had the Chari-Pollo which was a taco with shredded chicken and chorizo. She also had the Campechano which was a taco with seared brisket and chorizo. Tacos were quite tasty. Normally, three tacos are enough for a meal; but, if you're really hungry, maybe go with four.

Yelp
My review is based off of 5 factors please read through them all :) each section will be given a score 1 out of 5, 1 being terrible, 5 being fantastic needs no change. Factors are as follows, (taste (my opinion) ambiance, price, staff, organization Taste - 4/5 let me start out by saying this is a incredibly authentic and realistic, Mexican cuisine casual place. The menu is slightly lacking options in my opinion, but that is most likely due to the fact of its authenticity. As well as no burritos on the menu can be seen as a negative. Following this review, I ordered a quesadilla chorizo, it was a small quesadilla with not many toppings or much ingredients and for something very basic. I believe the chorizo needs to be upgraded. Especially for the price Ambiance - 5/5 not much else can be said about this place. There is no inside seating which I do not see as a problem. This is a street taco type of establishment so the outdoor seating is quite perfect. They have lots of fans and it's actually not too hot underneath the shaded areas, especially when they put down the sunblockers. There's on the wall outside and inside. Overall a, good place with dope vibes. Price 2/5 now I am no stranger to inflation and I understand food, markets, and prices can always fluctuate. But in this case, I think there's much room for improvement to start off, It seems to me that a regular taco is close to five dollars, which to me is a little bit outrageous considering the portions and amount of food you get with that taco. During this trip, I received and ordered a quesadilla which was small and for close to eight dollars it's a bit ridiculous, including my drink I paid around $13. Staff 5/5 there's great banter and conversations happening between everyone at the restaurant. The front people seem to have great knowledge about the entire menu and there's even a spot in between where you can look back and see everyone working hard as they can. Managers seem to be attentive and as well as other staff members. 4/5 I understand that a restaurant needs to be able to use as much space as possible when it comes to food and different containers. But the way that it is all put together in the front at least seems kind of messed around with. There's unopened and opened beverage cases near the front and bags of ingredients and rice in the front when you walk in the door this is probably to add to the aesthetic of "authentic" but in my opinion, it only gives off unorganized Overall a great taco place if you can muster up the money. Other wise it's also a good "grab and go" spot. I just do not believe people are going to want to look past the prices.

Yelp
Fast food, or is it? The service is certainly quick. Order, give your name, find a seat and in no time you will be eating. No space inside but everything outside is covered so consider that if you are looking to eat here. The SUADERO TACOS - Seared Brisket, Avocado Salsa Verde, Onion, Cilantro, Lime were pretty amazing. Don't forget there are two tortillas, so slide the bottom one out to divide the top ingredients amongst the two. The CHICKEN QUESADILLAS - Shredded Chicken, Chihuahua Cheese, Avocado Salsa Verde were even better. As quick as service was, this is also a quick meal to eat. It is the perfect lunch stop for something quick and good to get you back on the road.

Yelp
We've driven by this place a few times and decided tonight is THE night to try Hunger Street. First impressions were pretty unimpressive. Kind of a dirty little patio with nothing inviting you to stay awhile. No seating inside. Just a counter to order from and then out to the crusty patio to wait. I will say the presentation of our food was pretty, but no flavor for the most part. The carne azada taco was inedible because it was drenched in salt. I had that (but threw it away), and a squash blossom quesadilla. Hubby had a chicken taco, chorizo/chicken taco, and a carnitas taco. Overall, nothing special stood out except the bomb delicious avocado salsa. That stuff was epic! This spot is a one and done for us.

Yelp
Got catering from hunger street tacos and I loved the chicken tacos more than anything. The tortilla was super soft and the chicken was just nice and juicy. Catering offers a bunch of toppings to pick and choose from so I got to dress it with avocado salsa, onions, and tlacoyo salsa. I also tried the suadero tacos, which I wasn't a fan of. They were a little more oily than I like and the tortilla seemed a bit harder than the chicken one. Again, this is just a review based off catering, going to the actual establishment is an experience of its own, and the tacos are brought out fresh to you!

Yelp
This is a great spot for a quick lunch - super cute spot! You order inside and then pick up your order at the window. There is only outside seating so keep that in mind if you plan to dine in. Service was fast and everything was packaged nice. I had the chicken quesadilla- it wasn't huge but it was very good! The chips & guac were also great too - they give a good portion of guac!
google avatar

Yelp
I think about this place often and I cannot wait to go back. Came in on a random weeknight and got to ordering at the counter right away. I love the style they have where you go outside and around the building the get your food. They do bring it to you which is nice. The soda machine is accessible outside which is so nice. The tacos.... They are soo good. I cant explain it other than you need to try them. I love street tacos and especially with meats that speak volumes, which these do. I 100% will be back!

Yelp
Pretty dang good food, nice covered outdoor seating, VERY friendly accommodating staff. Smashed potatoes were a "can't miss" item for me. I got the Taketo bowl and it was delicious. Our table got a bunch of tacos and I took a few bites here and there, the chicken mole verde was really good and the suadero was my other favorite. We had an issue with an order and the staff corrected it so quickly and happily. Will definitely return to try a quesadilla because they sounded SO good on the menu.

Yelp
This place can best be described as a food truck without wheels. You can get food to go or have a seat outside in their covered patio. Restaurant was clean and service quick. I got a chicken taco (chorizo pollo) and a taco with pork (carnitas). Both were small yet filling and tasty. The pork one was a little spicier. I also had the chorizo quesadillas which I enjoyed as well. All 3 of my choices had different profiles and I would have a tough time picking a favorite. All in all next time the family is looking for a quick lunch joint, this will be on my list.

Yelp
Some of the best street tacos I've had! You order inside and they have outdoor seating only. Generous portions and really good sauce.
google avatar

Yelp
It's been a minute since I've had Hunger Street Tacos, but my mouth has been watering for their signature Suadero brisket quesadilla. That's always been my favorite thing they make. The brisket is always juicy and packed with flavor. I also got their mushroom quesadilla (sauteed mushrooms, chihuahua cheese, garlic, epazote, and salsa roja), a brisket taco on a cheese shell, and the grilled cheese taco (halloumi grilling cheese and black beans). As someone who is not even vegetarian, I really appreciate how many veg friendly (and unique!) items they have on their menu. I've tried the squash blossom quesadilla and the hibiscus & guac taco which I really enjoyed and are exciting options for my friends who don't eat meat. It's nice to have more than just mushrooms and cheese as alternatives. They also have a second location located inside the Plant Street Market in Winter Garden, so if you're over that way, be sure to check them out!
google avatar

Andrea P.

Yelp
By far my favorite place for some tacos. Truth be told, this is not your typical authentic tacos place. I might just say it's better. They have their own take on the tacos but they are delicious! My favorite is the Fried-Avo taco. It's a healthier and vegan option. I also really like the Costra Asado taco and the Pollo taco. I'll be honest, they might be a little on the pricier side for a taco but so worth it. Staff is always friendly and the outside seating is pretty peaceful.
google avatar

Mel R.

Yelp
Was in the area and stopped here randomly while driving, and I am so happy I did. It looks very a assuming driving by, but cozy and perfect for a catch up lunch with your friends or just a quick bite. I was really happy to see they had a vegan menu as well! I ordered the black bean and mushroom taco, which it looked messy but boy did it taste amazing. I liked it more than I thought I would! I also ordered the fried avo taco which was also delicious. My food came out quickly and was hot and very well made. I think my only complaint would be that the food presentation wasn't the most aesthetic but the taste was there, which is most important. Plus the tacos are about 3-4$ each! You can't beat that! All in all I really enjoyed the vibes as well as food of this place and I cant wait to return with friends :)

Lolita M.

Yelp
Surprised that it was a Thursday 5:30pm and it was completely empty. You know when is original Méx food so my 1st choice was not good at all. Birria Tacos: overloaded with smushed canned black beans, cream some soft queso and cilantro. That was it??? Same exact ingredients in the tacos and the burrito???? Not my taste at all. Too American style so not going back at all. Reply to owner: birria/brisket- burrito/soft tortilla quesadillas. Smushed beans/overcoked smashed beans?Same . Fairbanks ave. The right place.
google avatar

Elease S.

Yelp
I've been visiting this spot for almost a year now, and I really have no complaints. I'm fan of their chicken and brisket tacos (I should preface and say, I'm not a brisket connoisseur, so I cannot say yay or nay if this is the best brisket in town). I also love that they have vegetarian and vegan taco options (as some members in my family do not eat meat). Their gauc and salsa are also pretty good! For a taco spot, that offers non-meat optional tacos, they are pretty reasonably priced - considering vegan options tend to get pricy. The only downside, is probably parking - which can get tricky during lunch / busy hours. Beyond that, cute open air seating (style) restaurant which great customer service! Definitely recommend!!
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
These might have been some of the best tacos I've had in a long time. They were generous portions and the flavors were incredible. I liked the casual vibe of the place and being able to sit outside and enjoy it without feeling like I'm overheating since they had a fan and an overhang.
google avatar

Melinda S.

Yelp
Hunger Street is an amazing spot to satisfy your taco craving. They have a nice outdoor patio where you can enjoy your meal or you can easily order online and take your food to go. The person working was friendly and patient in us trying to make a decision between all the yummy sounding options. They have a great selection including vegan items. I chose to get two tacos, the costra de asada & the el mananero. My boyfriend chose the campechana quesadilla. We also order a side of rice and beans to share. The food came out quickly and looked so amazing. It was love at first bite with this food! The steak on the asada taco was tender and full of flavor. The avocado salsa verde and chorizo on the mananero gave it a nice kick and blended well with the brisket, beans, and egg. The quesadilla was delicious as were the rice and beans. Everything tasted fresh and like it was made with love. This shot up to one of my favorite taco spots for sure and I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Rachel L.

Yelp
Best chicken quesadilla Ive ever had!! Man, was that good! Im home now and wishing I could have another one. Will be back very soon!!
google avatar

Tiffany A.

Yelp
Checked this place out for lunch. I had quesadillas and the chips and guacamole. Everything was very tasty. I tasted the chicken as well as the brisket quesadillas and would recommend them both. I'll definitely come back to try some of their tacos next. If you're in the area and in the mood for some Mexican street food, hit this place up. They have their own parking lot in the back which is convenient.
google avatar

Yelp
It was ok. Can get pretty pricey especially if you are very hungry. I remember this building when it was 4 Rivers way back when. Seating outdoors only. Order and pay inside. The one person I was with didn't like the 2 tacos they bought and didn't even eat half their meal. The quesadilla was good and spicy but it mainly had onions in it. I felt like I was eating a onion quesadilla. My quesadilla also didn't have much in it. It is like they left out ingredients. After reviewing the menu it doesn't state onions in this item but it was coves in onions. Didn't see any employees outside checking on customers or wiping down tables. I wanted to talk to someone about the food.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
Ordered food for delivery from here during a rainy day. Honestly it was perfect. Familiar and comforting. One of my coworkers is Vegetarian and has an insane Gluten sensitivity and the other is Vegan - this can make finding a lunch place really tough unfortunately BUT Hunger Street has a solid menu selection for BOTH thankfully. They enjoyed all that they ordered. This place has been added to our work go-to lunch list. Unfortunately they missed one of the items I ordered, but that was resolved through Uber Eats. Was still glad to support this place on 407 Day. Overall a great place. Highly recommend eating there as it has great vibes and outdoor seating.
google avatar

Chiara B.

Yelp
Food is never a disappointment. Was offered sour scream and hot sauce, didn't know they were .50 each. And what happened to that soda machine with all those cool flavors?! Now it's just standard Pepsi etc :(
google avatar

Nevik Y.

Yelp
Some of the best tacos in Florida. We had the Fried Avocado taco, Al Pastor Tacos, Brisket Tacos, and El Mananero Taco. They were all so good, but my favorite was the avocado taco. Tacos on the small side but we're generously filled with meat.
google avatar

Justin L.

Yelp
A group of friends wanted to meet at a new taco place so we came up with this location. The owner suggested that I ordered corn tortillas. I am not a fan of corn tortillas but he insured me these were different. He was absolutely right!!! The ingredients were fresh and they tasted like no other corn tortillas I've ever had. I don't think I can eat any other corn tortillas but these! I liked everything I had including the quesadilla as well as the tacos. Make sure to check out the menu and mix and match your choices.
google avatar

Yelp
This spot is so cute! I loved the vibe. The seating is all outdoors, which is perfect for a cool, breezy evening to enjoy some tacos and margs. There isn't a lot of seating, so keep that in mind. The food was delicious! The flavors tasted authentic, and I enjoyed everything that I ate. The elote was especially delicious to me. The tacos I had both were filled with meat. They did not skimp at all. The margaritas were so refreshing! I enjoyed the Prickly Pear the most! If it is available, it is a must try. The service was good. Everyone was kind and attentive, but the food did come out in varying times. There was a little bit of a wait between each dish. It did not come out all together. Overall, I recommend you give Hunger Street a try for your next taco fix.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
I have been meaning to get over to Hunger Street Tacos and since I was over on that side of town around lunchtime, I decided today would be the day that I eoukd try Hunger Street Tacos. The building definitely has a cool vibe. You place your order inside and take a seat outside. They will have a runner come out and call your name and hand you your food. I ordered three Tacos and the price was over fourteen dollars. Definitely not a cheap taco place and maybe I have been spoiled by some of these taco places that give you totally stuffed tacos for somewhere around two dollars and change each. You can get three huge tacos for like seven dollars and change. The tacos were good, but not great and I have a hard time justifying basically five dollars for a relatively small street taco. I will also say that I found a lot of those two and three dollar tacos from those taco places were superior to the ones here. It is still a good (though not great) place. I will give it four stars.
google avatar

Dennis C.

Yelp
The food was good but the tacos were small and not filling. They charge $4 - $4.87 per taco The parking lot is small but there always seems like there are a lot of people eating there.

Andrea S.

Yelp
The food and drinks were spot on. I love the avocado taco! All the seating is outside but covered.
google avatar

Yelp
Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Hungery Street? It was a cheat day (it's not easy being green) and I was in the mood for Tacos! This place was not near me, instead, it was far. Not Near... Far! One, Two, Three, Four Tacos were in my future. The carne asada was a bit tough and rubbery and not that enjoyable. The Al Pastor was kind of bland and didn't have that charred pineapplely juicy piggy flavor. And the Choripollo was also a bit bland. Chorizo should smack you in the face then fly through your digestive system quickly. This just didn't do it for me. Choripollo used to be my go-to dish at any Mexican restaurant that had it. I did get one vegan taco, the hibiscus and guac and although I like a lot of filling in my tacos, I'll say there was way too much for the size of the shell. I ate about half of the filling with a fork before I could pick it up and eat it like an adult. Picking these up proved to be difficult and even Ernie wouldn't attempt to eat them in his bed (or Bert's bed). This vegan taco was better in flavor than the 3 meat choices. I've attempted to go here in the past, and was glad I could find parking. It was all outside dining and in July, I wasn't thrilled about that. It was hot and I was sweatier than the people in a Snuffleupagus costume (maybe not that bad, but I was a bit of a grouch trying to eat tacos and keep napkins from flying away). Maybe I had high hopes based on the pictures, reviews, and lack of parking, but I'll say I probably won't be back. I'd rather destroy some Don Julio's birria tacos or some other yet-to-be-tried place. It wasn't bad, but I was let down. T is for Taco, but not good enough for me.
google avatar

Allison R.

Yelp
I expected so much more by I left hugely underwhelmed and disappointed. The food was bland and all tasted the same. We were one of the only customers there, yet the meat in our tacos came out cold. It was vastly overpriced especially for what you got. I left with my wallet lighter and my belly only half full.
google avatar

Miriam F.

Yelp
We were craving for some tacos and Hunger Street Tacos did not disappoint! They had a decent-sized outdoor dining with some ceiling fans and it had nice ventilation so being there in a crazy hot afternoon wasn't bad at all. I really loved the wall murals - those definitely added a lot of character and branding to the place! Service was great and fast - we didn't wait for our orders to arrive for that long which was AMAZING since we were all hungry. My favorite was the Chori-Pollo taco, El mananero taco and their Campechana quesadilla! Definitely try those out! I would definitely come back again to satisfy my taco cravings!
google avatar

Cristina R.

Yelp
First of all this is definitely true to size! You need at least two (maybe 3) hands to hold and eat. I love the idea of this but wasn't really a fan of how I had to make the taco myself. The toppings were placed in separate containers. So I only had meat and cheese on the taco...the rest was up to me to make. Which I have no problem with if it was to-go but I was dining in so I thought it would be plated nicely and not I'm regular box. Plus the taco was so hot that when I opened the box, the parchment paper was almost melted with the taco. So it was tough to pick up the taco and not eat paper at the same time. Took me some time to peel it off to actually enjoy.
google avatar

Melody L.

Yelp
It's been 4 years since I've been here. The food is still amazing. I got the vegetarian squash blossom quesadilla and the sangria. I got the guacamole and chips too. The food tastes authentic and fresh. The service is fast. The only downside is the small parking area.
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
Straight up poggers big Biria tacos in a restaurant in Orlando and the meat is just so delicious the tacos could use another shell though as one shell just seems flimsy to hold the amount of meat they give you we had the carne asada and was very nice and spicy and delicious the brisket tacos were also nicely cooked and the chicken taco was the best I've had so far locally. The guacamole could use a rework as it was too creamy and not enough tangyness flavor the service is just casual and nice and deserves a five star rating for the product they deliver. Would love to see more fish options and see how they are able to execute. Pros: Delicious Meaty tacos Really damn good birria Flavor is really good get the birria. Cons: only one tortilla so the tacos are flimsy and messy but that's kind of expected, a lot of meat pork and chicken options but no fish yet.

Yelp
First time I visit this taco establishment , services was excellent but the food was AMAZING. The prices were decent and the atmosphere is great. The taco was delicious and the quesadillas with rajas and crema was so good also like the outdoor sitting witch is good on a non hot Florida day but wished they had in door sitting. You can tell this place is popular by how many people come and go here and who is a normal client. Definitely a place to try when in the area.

Yelp
Street tacos in all their glory! The food is crazy fresh and always delicious. My favs are the Suadero (brisket) and the fried avocado tacos. Many dishes have real heat so order accordingly (no hot sauce or on the side, if you're unsure.) Super casual vibe & incredibly fast service. When I order takeout, it's generally ready in 5-7 minutes. Definitely one of my favorite spots.

Yelp
I have had the pleasure of eating twice at Hunger Street Tacos. My first time was early October. I met my girlfriend from Orlando for lunch while on my way to Tampa. I ordered and paid through the app as my dog was traveling with me. Fortunately dogs are permitted on the patio. The staff were amazing with Simba. They brought him a huge fresh bone (check out the picture) from the fridge and gave me an box to take it home in. Plus a huge pan of fresh water. Most of the staff stopped by to say hello to Simba. Now to my food. On both occasions I ordered the Chori-Pollo with shredded chicken, onion, cilantro and chorizo. This is one of my favorites! I also enjoyed the brisket taco which was loaded with tender juicy beef. My second visit was for my friend's son's birthday dinner. She liked it so much she wanted to share it with him. They have a small beer selection and their own fresh cola. I would absolutely recommend Hunger Street Tacos to satisfy your Taco Tuesday (and every other day) cravings.

Yelp
Maybe I came on an off day? The presentation was great and the reviews were awesome so I was pretty excited. I'm sad to say it wasn't my fave. My cousins and I went, and because most of their tacos were good I'm giving it 4 stars, but for my personal experience with the tacos I had, it's a 3.5 star for me. Half my tacos (all chicken) just lacked a certain flavor palette I was hoping for. I don't recall which taco was good and which Lacked much flavor but it left me wanting more zest, and I just didn't quite get there. That said, this is only 1 out of so many great reviews, so it was just my personal opinion. I LOVE tacos so this not quite hitting the spot disappointed me a little.

Yelp
Everything is amazing. Ate Mexican food in Arizona and Chicago, as well as throughout FL... this place takes the cake.

Yelp
Let's taco about it! Hunger Street tacos is super conveniently located on Fairbanks near I four just a Stones Throw from the Winter Park Village. This is one of my favorite taco joints in town. No fuss no muss just damn good tacos. These are authentic street tacos with fresh onions, cilantro, and tasty meats that will make you go freaky freaky on your feet. The Carne Asada tacos will blow your mind and the El Pastor is over the top in the best way. But be aware Hungry Street is closed on Mondays! Don't show up ready for taco Monday because you have to wait till taco Tuesday but that's a way that's well worth it.
