Yelp
My review is based off of 5 factors please read through them all :) each section will be given a score 1 out of 5, 1 being terrible, 5 being fantastic needs no change. Factors are as follows, (taste (my opinion) ambiance, price, staff, organization
Taste - 4/5 let me start out by saying this is a incredibly authentic and realistic, Mexican cuisine casual place. The menu is slightly lacking options in my opinion, but that is most likely due to the fact of its authenticity. As well as no burritos on the menu can be seen as a negative. Following this review, I ordered a quesadilla chorizo, it was a small quesadilla with not many toppings or much ingredients and for something very basic. I believe the chorizo needs to be upgraded. Especially for the price
Ambiance - 5/5 not much else can be said about this place. There is no inside seating which I do not see as a problem. This is a street taco type of establishment so the outdoor seating is quite perfect. They have lots of fans and it's actually not too hot underneath the shaded areas, especially when they put down the sunblockers. There's on the wall outside and inside. Overall a, good place with dope vibes.
Price 2/5 now I am no stranger to inflation and I understand food, markets, and prices can always fluctuate. But in this case, I think there's much room for improvement to start off, It seems to me that a regular taco is close to five dollars, which to me is a little bit outrageous considering the portions and amount of food you get with that taco. During this trip, I received and ordered a quesadilla which was small and for close to eight dollars it's a bit ridiculous, including my drink I paid around $13.
Staff 5/5 there's great banter and conversations happening between everyone at the restaurant. The front people seem to have great knowledge about the entire menu and there's even a spot in between where you can look back and see everyone working hard as they can. Managers seem to be attentive and as well as other staff members.
4/5 I understand that a restaurant needs to be able to use as much space as possible when it comes to food and different containers. But the way that it is all put together in the front at least seems kind of messed around with. There's unopened and opened beverage cases near the front and bags of ingredients and rice in the front when you walk in the door this is probably to add to the aesthetic of "authentic" but in my opinion, it only gives off unorganized
Overall a great taco place if you can muster up the money. Other wise it's also a good "grab and go" spot. I just do not believe people are going to want to look past the prices.
