Hungry AF - Review - College Park - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Expect a line when you go to Hungry AF on Old National. The popular counter-service spot has locations all over the metro, but the food here just comes out better—like someone’s really paying attention back there. So it’s always popping with folks hovering over counter stools while they wait on their takeout. Like the other locations, the entire place is an ode to Atlanta, with tangy wing sauces named after local legends like Mike Vick (a citrus-sweet mix of lemon pepper and teriyaki). This is a place to get fast-casual food—pasta, cheesesteaks, and really good wings—with giant portions when you want to feed a crew fast. In addition to those big, cheesy pasta plates and football-sized phillys loaded with peppers, onions and cheese, they serve a sticky-sweet Kool-Aid blend that tastes like getting home before the streetlights flick on. Food Rundown Chicken Pasta Creamy, with melted cheese and generous chunks of chicken. It’s not aiming for traditional penne alfredo—there’s some Cajun seasoning in the mix. But for a fast-casual pasta option, it's satisfying. Plus, one order could easily feed two people. Zone 6 Wings The Zone 6 (Eastside Atlanta, for the uninitiated) is a classic lemon pepper blend that makes sense in a city built on it. The wings are crisp, juicy, and are good enough to squeak on our best wings guide. Chicken Philly Packed with thick-cut, juicy chicken and a good mix of grilled onions and peppers, this is a solid, full-sized sandwich built to fill you up without cutting corners. Burger This is a decent burger with a sweetish bun and meat that tastes like it came straight from the backyard grill. 285 This drink is a blend of Kool-Aid, fruit punch, peach juice, and lemonade. One sip is a nostalgic rush back to the days when your mom let you pour all the different Kool-Aid packets in the pitcher. photo credit: Sarah Newman" - Jacinta Howard

The food was absolutely amazing! Not only was it a feast for the eyes, but it tasted as amazing as it looked and smelled. The staff was polite and friendly. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, given honest suggestions when asked what they liked most, and the food did not take long. There was lively music playing and the atmosphere was pleasant. My ONLY issue was cleanliness. The wooden counter and orange stools were sticky, there was a dead fly on the counter, and the walls looked as though they needed to be wiped down. I did not use the restroom while there, so I could not say what condition it was in, but there was so much stuff in the hall leading to the back that I dared not venture forward. In my opinion, that’s the only thing keeping me from giving a full five stars.

Our first time and we got fried rice and wings as well as the cheesesteak and fries. All the food was absolutely delicious. The flavor was on point. The wings rewarmed up in the oven perfectly the next day and tasted even better. I can’t wait to go back. Just for that rice!!

Food was delicious. Just want to get everything I ordered next time, including the shrimp I’d added and the bread that comes with it. Talk to someone name Kayla and she handled it for me. Good eats!!

Google
Food was decent, I think the wing flavors are the kicker honestly. . Fries were actually pretty good . The drinks were slightly too sweet , little more water added wouldn’t hurt. I would probably try something different next time before I can give them 4 stars -

Google
I paid 50 dollars for REGULAR FOOD. The staff was extremely polite but the wait was long and people who came in well after me were served first. The steak philly is unseasoned and taste homemade, actually you might be able to make a better one at home. The wings were average and the lemonade tasted like yellow sugar water. If it was cheaper I would be less bothered. The chicken Philly is the same as the steak. For us to have waited so long you would expect the food to be hot, this was room temperature. Lastly frozen checkers fries taste better than these fries. DONT LET THE PICTURES FOOL YOU. THIS PLACE ONLY GETS A 2 STAR BECAUSE THE STAFF WAS GREAT. .IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FOOD

FINALLY, a place that lives up to the internet Hype. The food was DELICIOUS. Even my picky toddler was eating and nodding her head dancing while she ate her chicken pasta dinner from here. The food had so much flavor, it was definitely a shock in comparison to some of the food I’ve experienced down here. Now the cons, because they are so busy I never can order online, not even for pickup. So we did have to take the drive and order at the store but our wait was maybe 15/20 min for food and it was mildly busy. Everyone was kind and respectful and even gave my daughter a free snack. Food is definitely overpriced so it’s not somewhere you’d go to consistently, but definitely bring your folk here when they come into town.

Google
Fast service and huge portions. We also got an order of fries. Everything was fresh, hot and cooked to order. The pasta needed a tad bit of salt but everything was still delicious. Definitely worth the hype.

Yelp
Open until 11pm on Old National--perfect if you're hungry, a little tipsy, or just craving food late at night. This was my first time here, and I asked the young lady at the counter for a recommendation. She suggested the wing/pasta combo with honey lemon pepper wings, and let me tell you... they were delicious! Perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of sweet and tangy. The shrimp pasta, and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The spot was clean, with bar stools and counters if you want to dine in. It's in a shopping center with a bit of nightlife around, so it's a cool stop if you're out and about and not quite ready to call it a night. All in all, great food and a convenient location.

Yelp
Found this place on social media saying one of the best newer wings spots in ATL. I decided to go give them a try while I spent a day in Atlanta before a trip overseas. Service was a little slow, took just a little while to get my food for a place that didn't seem too overly busy on a rainy Thursday, but once I got my food and went back to my hotel..I will say the wings were delicious and my Philly cheesesteak was one of the best I ever had. I washed it all down with a peach lemonade, which is a staple in Atlanta. Anytime I'm in Atlanta and I'm craving wings, I will not hesitate to come here. I do wish they would fix their online ordering system so I could've ordered ahead of time like I tried, but the website wouldn't allow me.

Yelp
I found this establishment while looking for something to eat on Old National and it didn't disappoint! The wings were really good and well seasoned. I also got pasta with salmon and, while I enjoyed it, I wish it was a little warmer. The only thing that was questionable was the Philly cheese steak. The bread was hard and the filling was a bit too salty. Overall I enjoyed the food. The servers were nice and efficient. The location isn't very eat in friendly with only a counter top and chairs for seating. It truly is a carry out restaurant. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Yelp
I been here a few times the diff variety wing flavors I love. I got the rasta pasta this time and it was really good and flavorful . I had a shrimp pasta another time and it was terrible it lacked seasoning and flavor. The young lady at the front counter was very nice and sweet. My only issue is the consistency of this place thats why it got 3 stars.

Yelp
Walked in and this place was what i expected from looking at the videos and reading reviews and it was very clean. Ima go ahead and give this place a 9.5/10 due to the fact of freshness of the food and the taste. My only gripe is that i wish they made their own Ranch instead of using Ken's ranch. The customer service was great at this location and the women were very helpful in choosing the right flavors for wings and even the Juices. Me personally I love when a restaurant is in the hood and they thrive off community love because i saw so many things positive happening in the area. I'd go back again and again now that i've gotten the chance too!

Yelp

Yelp
Good food you will not be disappointed. I was skeptical because Atlanta have so many wings spots but people kept listing it as one of the best in Atlanta so after I tried them I now know what they're talking about. Wings were perfect size and the flavor was jam Pack.

Yelp
Tried for the first time and it wasn't the experience I was hoping for. I will say everyone was very nice and helpful. The suggestions for a first time visit was great. Ok so for the wings: flavors were good but they were too big for my liking. I got the recommended flavors of Trae Young (honey garlic lemon pepper) and Dirty Birds (honey hot bbq). I probably won't order them again specifically because I like smaller wings. Pasta: Ordered one chicken and one shrimp. I liked the flavors, but it was cold. I only ate the chicken but my husband liked the shrimp. I'm not sure if it was because my order had additional items and the pasta was already ready since it's the special on Tuesdays, but in my short drive home it shouldn't have been cold so definitely a disappointment. Rice: I ordered the rice with no meat and I was shocked at how many veggies were in it. I'm talking edamame and I was impressed. It was really good and I would definitely get it again. I didn't try any of the drinks so I will give that a shot the next time I visit. Solid 3.5 for me

Yelp
Staff is very helpful and hopefully. The good wad delicious. Free PARKING!!! An open shared parking lot. It wasn't a long wait time. They take call-in orders. Stop by and give it a try. They have other locations around the Metro Atlanta area.

Yelp
Omg stopped by Tuesday night cause I was HUNGRY AF!! I had no idea it was pasta Tuesday where you can get two pasta's meals for the low. When I mean GOOD!! Service was impeccable. The ambiance was on point with the graphics and mentioning popular streets in and around ATL.. and my boy MIKE VICK name was on the wall my overall experience was PHENOMENAL!!

Yelp
Amaze Ball!!! Shrimp Pasta magnificent and lemon pepper wings the absolute best! You definitely gotta try the blue lemonade. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
My wings were overcooked and the pasta was very underwhelming. The pasta had zero flavor and topped with a couple shrimp, I ordered honey ranch wings and there was no ranch and very little honey. We had a blue drink as well as peach and they taste like syrup, could not finish any of it and for the price I am very disappointed.

Yelp
Was the food good? Yes. However a 45 min wait after being told 15 mins and "yours is coming out now" is crazy. We had a steak philly with fries (can't exchange fries) the philly has some type of sauce and that gave it a different taste from others. Also, the chicken and shrimp pasta and added spinach to the pasta. We got a side serving of spinach, instead of mixed in. For $45 we got 2 meals and a drink. The drink is strictly Kool aid. I don't care for kool-aid, but if you do they have a few mixtures and my bf enjoyed it. I don't think I'd come back just due to the wait, unless I did a online order or something.
