Hungry AF - Review - College Park - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Expect a line when you go to Hungry AF on Old National. The popular counter-service spot has locations all over the metro, but the food here just comes out better—like someone’s really paying attention back there. So it’s always popping with folks hovering over counter stools while they wait on their takeout. Like the other locations, the entire place is an ode to Atlanta, with tangy wing sauces named after local legends like Mike Vick (a citrus-sweet mix of lemon pepper and teriyaki). This is a place to get fast-casual food—pasta, cheesesteaks, and really good wings—with giant portions when you want to feed a crew fast. In addition to those big, cheesy pasta plates and football-sized phillys loaded with peppers, onions and cheese, they serve a sticky-sweet Kool-Aid blend that tastes like getting home before the streetlights flick on. Food Rundown Chicken Pasta Creamy, with melted cheese and generous chunks of chicken. It’s not aiming for traditional penne alfredo—there’s some Cajun seasoning in the mix. But for a fast-casual pasta option, it's satisfying. Plus, one order could easily feed two people. Zone 6 Wings The Zone 6 (Eastside Atlanta, for the uninitiated) is a classic lemon pepper blend that makes sense in a city built on it. The wings are crisp, juicy, and are good enough to squeak on our best wings guide. Chicken Philly Packed with thick-cut, juicy chicken and a good mix of grilled onions and peppers, this is a solid, full-sized sandwich built to fill you up without cutting corners. Burger This is a decent burger with a sweetish bun and meat that tastes like it came straight from the backyard grill. 285 This drink is a blend of Kool-Aid, fruit punch, peach juice, and lemonade. One sip is a nostalgic rush back to the days when your mom let you pour all the different Kool-Aid packets in the pitcher. photo credit: Sarah Newman" - Jacinta Howard
