Hungry & Healthy Marketplace

It's a 24 hour deli and convenient store that was sorely needed in the neighborhood. Really great for late night bites. My single gripe is that they are not transparent that their bacon is beef bacon instead of pork bacon, and their "side of bacon" thumbnail on seamless is a stock picture of pork bacon. The place is halal, which is perfectly fine, but it's extremely deceptive to put "bacon" and "ham" on the menu with no indication to the customer of what they're actually getting.

So many options, your biggest problem will be deciding what to eat. Everything looks delicious. My friends and I got lunch from here and everyone loved our food. The cook is really cool and so is the rest of the staff. Definitely worth going there.

I ordered delivery. I live 3 blocks away. Order took over an hour to get to me. They made two substitutions without asking me and I don't like either one of them. Food was cold. In addition, two charges were placed on my card. I'm hoping one will fall off.

Open 24 hours, great selection of snacks, really delicious sandwiches, friendly staff and a cashier whose hair makes you want to get on the next flight to Turkey for a hair transplant but is too modest and kind to bask in the glory of his coiffure crown. Peter, you’re the man!

I come in about once week to get snacks, bagel sandwiches, or candy when I need a pick-me-up. Everything is fresh and delicious and the staff is very kind. Easily one of the best bodegas in NYC.

Service can use a little bit of work, especially at the front desk. Other than that I love their sweet potato fries and the sandwich I got with that was really good. They have other good options there too.

This is a much needed 24 hour store in the neighborhood . It makes life much easier . They are well stocked with everything you need from a corner store plus some healthy options too . The hero sandwiches could be a little fatter though and their bread isn't the best but gets the job done. I think because the sandwiches aren't that fat the taste of the bread can be overwhelming .The service is good never had a problem . And the vibe of the store is nice especially when the cat decides to pop its head out every now and then .

I kid you not one of the best burgers I had in my life, George hooked it up, everything on it plus bacon, the best combo and savory and sweet imaginable, I'd and a pick but I already dogged it can't lie, go on the weekend though. A simple sandwich. Turkey and roast beef with lettuce, cheese, and mayo. Stale bread, cut incorrectly. Dry and bland cold cuts. Lettuce that was so finely shredded. It was basically like having water on your sandwich. Not enough mayo. This is New York City, you gotta do better.

My favorite thing about this deli? They're running a comedy club in the upstairs seating area. This is a great use of space and I hope they're a great success. The food is a notch better than in most other delis- they have a full salad bar and plenty of sandwiches and other dishes. Service is quick with no nonsense. I'd rather have a quick meal here than in most restaurants.

This is a good choice for late night food in the neighborhood. It generally takes quite a long time for the food to be prepared, and prices have been rising pretty steadily over the last few months. But the menu is enormous, so you'll probably find something you like here. I like the veggie quesadilla in a spinach wrap.

My favorite deli on the UWS - the food is great, the staff is friendly and it is not overpriced. They've got a great selection available from snacks to pantry staples.

Love this deli! Everyone is super-friendly and they have added a plant-based menu, which will bring me back for a return visit.

I ordered two sandwiches from this place. When my wife went to eat hers, she saw that the cheese in her sandwich was American cheese. No problem, we thought. I went up the counter to the same guy who made the sandwich and I said, "could I get a couple of slices of Swiss cheese? We got the wrong cheese in one of our sandwiches." "Which sandwich?" "The Turkey and Swiss" "You ordered a Turkey and cheese" "No, I ordered a Turkey and Swiss" "No, you said Turkey and cheese" "Maybe my mask made it hard for you to hear me, but I would never order plain cheese. But it's ok, just give me a couple of slices of Swiss please." "We don't sell a couple of slices. I can sell you a quarter of pound" "Never mind". I can't believe that he would not correct his mistake and just give me a couple of slices of Swiss. I would have been happy to pay for just a couple of slices of Swiss, and assume that possibly I could have made a mistake, but I didn't need 1/4 pound of Swiss. And I haven't even mentioned his attitude and tone when speaking to me. That's no way to talk to or treat customers. By the way, there was no one waiting to order when we were speaking so I can't even excuse his behavior because it was a busy time (11am)

The cook was cool and the burger & fries were great! 24/7 a plus for the Upper West Side

They always fuck up my sandwich and charge exorbitant prices. Most of the time the food is a sloppy mess of disproportionate ingredients.

Tried this place twice to give it a chance. Ordered the panini and both times is missing stuff. First was avocado and second is red bell peppers. When I brought it up they told me it's chopped up inside. For $10 I could get a proper sand which instead of this soggy wimpy product. It's called hungry and healthy cause you'll leave hungry and gain 0 calories cause you'll rather throw it away.

This place is a godsend to the neighborhood. Deli is always quality. I recommend the paninis and quesadillas, can't go wrong. Great grocery staples at reasonable prices (unlike some bodegas in the area - 71st and Columbus, I'm lookin at you!). Staff is always friendly and polite. Love this place.

Great place my smoothie was amazing and quick services I got my hot sandwich fast. it's very hard to find healthy options late night in nyc will be coming here again.

A bit hit or miss but very nice people. Depends on what you order. The smoothies are great and so is the chicken Caesar wrap

I frequently order smoked salmon and tomato on a toasted everything bagel late at night, usually around 1 AM or 2 AM (I'm an extreme night owl). My meals is always perfect, and usually delivered earlier than predicted. I'm so grateful Hungry and Healthy Market Place is open 24 hours so I can have my favorite late-night snack delivered.
