The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies In SF - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"The hand-sized beauties from this SoMa bakery have just about everything we’re looking for in a chocolate chip cookie: edges with a little crunch, a soft chewy center, and big chunks of chocolate throughout. While they do teeter on being too sweet, they never quite cross that line—just enough to want a milk chaser after a couple of bites. It’s well-balanced and so tender it cried during a dog food commercial Soft-and-chewy fanatics with a high tolerance for sugar Hungry Crumbs is only open on weekdays" - julia chen 1, patrick wong

9 Pop-Up Bakeries We Love - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Part of the Vacant to Vibrant program, Hungry Crumbs in SoMa specializes in large, chewy cookies that are oftentimes stuffed with something tasty. Take the lemon curd flavor that, unsurprisingly, has a curd-filled center, or the banana that’s more bread than cookie and is hiding Biscoff cookie butter in the middle. Of course, there’s some equally tasty non-filled options like ube and vegan tart cherries. Hungry Crumbs is open every weekday." - patrick wong

7 Fall Pastries For When "Pumpkin" Is Your Whole Personality - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Get the pumpkin spice and oat milk white chocolate cookie from Hungry Crumbs in SoMa if you’re looking for a vegan gourd-ified pastry. Like their non-vegan lineup, this cookie has a soft center encased by a chewy, crunchy rim. The white chocolate is stretchy like a marshmallow and adds nice pops of sweetness. This takeout-only bakery is just a couple blocks from Salesforce Park and several public seating areas." - ricky rodriguez, patrick wong, julia chen 1

Hungry Crumbs - Review - Soma - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Thanks to the Vacant to Vibrant program, SoMa now has a cookie shop you should go out of your way to try. The takeout-only bakery serves nine-ish flavors of soft, stuffed cookies. For traditionalists, there’s chocolate chip. And for baked good nonconformists, there’s a version filled with lemon curd, another cosplaying as banana bread, and one that’s an ode to the viral knafeh chocolate bar (of which you can only order one per customer). Every hand-sized cookie teeters on being too sweet and rich, but doesn't quite get there. Still, it's a feat to finish one by yourself. We suggest ordering a box, which comes with a half dozen cookies and will set you back $35, and taking the five-minute walk to Salesforce Park to try a little of each flavor." - Patrick Wong
