"Hung’s is a Chinatown staple that’s perfect for when you settle down and dig into a plate of dumplings, or some roast pork or duck on rice. The service is basic, but the quality is always good and its consistency is tough to dispute - come hungry, and you won’t leave disappointed. As a bonus, it’s open late until 4am every night, except for Sundays. The king prawn dumplings are superb." - David Paw

"Those who doubt that the Italians stole pasta from China need only come to Wardour St and order Hung’s spaghettini fritti in soy sauce brodo with crispy capicola to be convinced. For some reason it’s only possible to order the king prawn dumplings on boiled noodles with a fuss, but add them to the crispy version that’s some good tortellini too." - Jonathan Nunn

Great Chinese food if you've had a few drinks and want something solid and tasty in your stomach. Pretty cheap and plenty of space. Gets really pack over the weekends. Good as well if you don't want anything fancy and just endulge yourself in good Chinese food.

I’ve been coming to this place for decades as it is something of an institution with crazy opening hours. Something like 11am to 4am if I recall correctly. What you get here is inexpensive and unpretentious Cantonese food. It’s not the best but I know what I’m getting for the £8 or so when I order the wonton and roast duck soup noodles or the beef and black bean sauce ho fun. I read an article that this place had closed permanently due to Covid and impossible rents. I hope permanent closure isn’t the case as this would be a huge loss for China Town.

A real old school Cantonese restaurant in the heart of China Town that’s keeping it’s traditions alive and is not modernising. On recent visits the food has gotten better. Heartily recommend the brisket and tendon noodle soup. The wonton soup had a nice broth and the dumplings reminded me of small eateries in Hong Kong. Hefty portions at a fair price.

Ordered seafood set for 2. The soup is basically flour, rice is tasteless and lobster is salty. Not worth the money.

Tried the Chinese marinated mix takeaway but not tasty at all! The sauce is totally different from the traditional we had in Hong Kong. And a bit expensive with only this small portion.

I had a simple dish, steamed rice and "char siu" pork meat. It was really good and not expensive. The service was also good. I noticed most of the customers in the restaurant were Chinese people which is a good sign :) To be recommended!

OK Chinese restaurant. The BBQ meat selection is decent but nothing special. Pricing is on par with the others in the area. They expect you to share a table if you visit on your own. Upstairs has additional seating.

I took breakfast two times here during my trip, first time with bad experience with congee, second time with high hope of refresh but congee still same taste, cooking not reach the level, meat dish is fine.
