Good plate of crispy orh luak with a decent amount of plump oysters. The ratio of oysters to egg-starch mixture is good; starch doesn't dominate as well. Chilli was spicy and tangy. Portion is not the biggest, but at least there's enough oysters. QPR still fairs pretty alright for the taste. My only wish was that they used lard instead of vegetable oil, but I guess that's just how it is these days..

17/12/2024 Had fried oyster omelette ($8) for dinner, was extremely good, not overly oily. Vinegary chilli sauce was good too.

Great oyster omelette, crispy eggs and topped with lots of oysters and a really tasty chilli sauce on the side. There’s no queue to line up for it because of the buzzer system, but had to wait almost an hour for my order to be ready. Definitely was worth the wait because the omelette was so good!

Still the best oyster omelette so far in Singapore! Love the huge fresh oysters and the crispy eggs. Though wait can be long but it’s definitely worth the wait.

Fried Oyster Omelette (SGD $8) @ Hup Kee Fried Oyster Omelette. . Famed as a hawker icon even before appearing in the 'Crazy Rich Asians' movie, this stall has been operating since 1966, and is now in the hands of the 2nd generation. . They're known for their fluffy golden brown egg omelette folded with crisp potato starch, not overly greasy, with a homely smoky eggy sweet savoury salty flavour. . A generous portion of small but fresh juicy oysters sit on top, lending briny salty sweet flavour. Crisp parsley with vegetal herbal sweet flavour to complete. . Pair with the sour spicy tangy zesty chili dipping sauce for shiokness.

Well-fried and crispy. Oysters are decent-sized and adequate in quantity. Ordered the small 8 dollar version and it is a good size in my view. Certainly enough to satisfy one's oyster omelette craving for one person. The Chinese parsley is fresh and adds a nice touch to cut down the richness of the dish. The chilli is sour and spicy and does lift the dish by giving it more dimensions in taste.

Forgot to take photo before eating. Have been eating here since 13 years ago. It taste as good as ever. Though the oyster is a bit small today. The best fried oyster, 4.5 stars.

Favorite go to place for delicious fried oyster omelette. The boss has retired for some time due to eyes condition and the stall is headed by the wife currently. We usually order the secret menu - village style deng soa char (that only stall owner knows how to cook) and you will probably have to build extremely long relationship with them to get a try (over 40yrs in our case). Nevertheless the normal variety is also good.
