The 22 Best Restaurants and Vineyards in İzmir, Turkey | Eater

"With terraces and a restaurant set against the vineyards, Hus feels entirely integrated with nature. An innovative and refreshing menu, prepared with local and seasonal ingredients, matches the house wines. Look for bottlings featuring Turkish grapes such as kara sulu and öküzgözü-boğazkere. The winery also has two rooms for guests on the premises." - Tuba Şatana

Excellent food, setting and location! The cooking is absolutely superb, from starter to dessert. The wines are also good, with the winery having a very touching story behind. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. When asked to help us pack the wine for our flight, they carefully wrapped every bottle individually in a very sturdy and high quality foam coating.

This not a first time when we visit Huş - and every time it comes better and better. Excellent cuisine, kind and pleasant staff, and so calm place.. Great.

It was our best experience in the whole Turkey! We booked a wine tasting for 4 pm the day before. But the day of the tasting the traffic was really heavy and we were very late. (We texted the winery about it) Still we were welcomed and had a wonderful wine tasting! The wines were all extraordinary and the information about them we got was very interesting and informative. Next we decided to stay at the restaurant to have dinner and it was the most memorable dinner. The compliment bread with oil was awesome! We also bought some bottles of wine to take home! Rose is our favorite!

I have been meaning to visit this vineyard for a while now and last weekend I had the chance not only to visit, but also stay there for two days. I will start from the vineyard and the lovely staff as well as the restaurant on site. Everything was impeccable. The design of the building, the rooms, the layout of tables in the garden. From from the moment we arrived (we were four people), I felt like I was in the good hands from the start. The restaurant menu was divine. We tried several dishes and each was exquisite - the way the plates were served, the taste of each dish, and of course the presentation. I am extremely grateful to our waiter who patiently explained every single dish and recommended excellent wine pairing. We also had a chance to do some wine tasting - a perfect way to get to know the grapes, and the process as well as the story behind HUS. Our lovely wine story teller - because that is really how it all felt, took us on a wine journey. And we got to taste a whole variety of their wines and a few extra ones so kudos for that. At the end, I bought six different bottles with Emin still being my favorite. Now a little bit about accomodation - there are only two rooms on site. One large room with a gorgeous terrace and a smaller room. They both are very comfortable, despite the size difference. The dried lavender in the bathroom with tiny bars of soap were a perfect touch to what otherwise was a lovely stay. And fyi, if you are staying overnight, they also have breakfast in the morning.

Definitely recommended! You need to visit this place especially to experience the sunset. The view is so amazing that you enjoy the beauty of nature. The staff is very kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. We shared different plates from the menu and all were delicious. Only recommendation would be keeping the cheese plate available for longer hours in the menu.

I have been to every Michelin Star restaurant and top rated restaurant in the area, and the meal I had at Hus is by far the best meal I’ve had. I’ve been before but only for wine tastings and purchasing wine but finally made time for a meal. We shared the mussels, octopus, short rib and fish plus the panna cotta for dessert and they were all amazing! Impossible to pick a favorite. Not to mention the amazing backdrop of the vineyards and our lovely waiter. Be sure to come for the sunset because it is breathtaking.

We were in Alaçati for 3 days, and had neglected to book ahead at the better known winery restaurants, so I booked at Hus winery instead. We had a long, leisurely lunch with wine tasting at this small winery. It was not very busy (at lunchtime in early April). The building is smart and contemporary, with seating available inside for food, and wine tasting available on the covered terrace and in the garden. It is nicely landscaped, and has pretty views. The food was excellent (the menu is seasonal). Best octopus we have ever had. Our server, Ayse, was absolutely lovely. We thought it was good value for the quality. I enjoyed the white and the red Pie Franco wines.
