I had the most amazing time at Hutchins BBQ and I just had to share my experience. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with such a warm and friendly welcome that made me feel right at home. And the food? Oh my goodness, it was absolutely delicious! The brisket was so tender and flavorful, the ribs were incredible, and the sides were just as fantastic. I couldn't get enough of the mac and cheese and those baked beans were to die for. The portions were huge and the prices were really reasonable for the quality of food we got. I left feeling so satisfied and already planning my next visit. I can't recommend Hutchins BBQ enough. If you're in the mood for some mouthwatering barbecue in a cozy and inviting atmosphere, this is the spot for you. Five stars all the way!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Hutchins BBQ Review 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If you're looking for an authentic Texas BBQ experience, look no further than Hutchins BBQ! This place is the epitome of a five-star dining experience, and here's why: First off, the meat! 😋 We had half a pound of brisket and half a pound of turkey, and let me tell you, both were absolutely mouthwatering. The brisket was tender and juicy, and the turkey was perfectly smoked. The barbecue sauce is a revelation – tangy, smoky, and the perfect complement to the meats. 🥩🍗 The sides are equally fantastic. The mac & cheese was creamy and delicious, a true comfort food. 🧀 The fried okra was hands down the best I've ever had – crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. 🌿 Every bite was a delight! But let's talk desserts, because Hutchins BBQ takes them to another level. 🍰🍨 They offer peach cobbler, banana pudding, and ice cream, all on the house! Yes, you read that right – FREE desserts! 😍 The peach cobbler was more like a dump cake with a cake-like topping that was simply phenomenal. 🍑 I don’t even like peach cobbler usually, but this was the best thing I've ever eaten! Served hot with a generous scoop of ice cream on top, it was the perfect combo. 🍰+🍦=❤️ The banana pudding was another standout – creamy, sweet, and incredibly satisfying. 🍌🍮 It was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. The atmosphere at Hutchins BBQ is uniquely Texan – rustic, country vibes that make you feel right at home. 🤠🏡 The staff are friendly and the service is top-notch. Overall, Hutchins BBQ is a must-visit. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place will give you a BBQ experience like no other. Five stars PLUS! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟+ You won't regret it! 🔥🍖🍽️🍑🍨🍌🧀🌿🍗🥩 --- **Hutchins BBQ is the only barbecue in Texas!** 🌟🔥🍖 If you want the best BBQ in the Lone Star State, this is the place to be. Epic in every way, Hutchins BBQ stands above the rest. 🍽️🏆

Ok hear me out. Turkey 6/10 brisket 8/10 sausage 8/10. Mashed 10/10 okra 10/10, Cole slaw 10/10. Felt the turkey needed more flavor. The sides were amazing. Not sure what’s in the mashed potatoes but it is delicious. With the sides, it’s 3.99 per container and you can fill it up as much as you can as side are self served. They actually tell you to stack it if you want as long as it fits. The customer service is amazing. Everyone is helpful. I will be visiting again to taste the ham and chicken. When we got there, there was a line but moved pretty quickly. They have umbrellas at the front you can grab while waiting in line and they also offer water and samples while you wait.

Google
Hutchins BBQ exceeded all expectations with their exceptional variety and quality of smoked meats and sides. The brisket was perfectly tender, with a rich smoky flavor that melted in your mouth. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with savory goodness. The smoked sausage had a robust flavor that complemented the meats perfectly. One of the standout dishes was the Jalapeño stuffed with brisket, a spicy yet savory treat that was a delightful surprise, known as the Texas Twinkie! The sides were equally impressive; the broccoli slaw provided a refreshing contrast to the hearty meats, and the banana pudding topped with vanilla ice cream was a heavenly combination of creamy sweetness. Overall, Hutchins BBQ delivered a memorable dining experience with impeccable service and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a barbecue aficionado or new to smoked meats, this place is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Texas BBQ done right

Google
OMGEEEE, this place was so worth the wait. The line was out the door, but it moved fast. The food was outstanding, and the Texas twinkies were to die for. Service was top-notch. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Best BBQ to date for me, other than my husband's.

Wow, what a first-time experience! Let me say, I felt like I was at a sneaker release, waiting 2 hours and 15 minutes for a meal!! The wait was so long, likely because it was a Sunday after church and also Father’s Day. Sheesh, But it was worth the wait. We waited out in the sun to try this highly talked about and raved about BBQ. There were umbrellas, samples, and cold water offered for free while we waited in line. You can place an order to go or dine in, and after waiting in line so long, the obvious choice was to dine in. My fiance and I were treated to some good southern hospitality, with a very friendly, interactive, and informative experience! We got beef ribs, beef brisket, 2 drinks, and 9 sides (to sample all) and spent $150 with tip! Literally everything was a 10/10 except for the green beans and okra. I expected the green beans to be more southern-style cooked, and the okra just wasn’t good. We didn’t try any beans because they just didn’t seem to go with the BBQ in my opinion. The hospitality, the food, and the dining experience were great, and I’d definitely recommend and return! Thank you, Hutchins BBQ, for a great experience!

Google
What an experience! The people are so friendly and inviting. The food was top-notch. I love me some food barbecue. This is definitely a spot I will return to for sure. You have to stop in and try this place. I will tell you secret the desert is on house, and the banana pudding is knock your socks off good. You will not be disappointed. PS. Texas Twinkie will make you question everything you have ever had. It's that good!

Rick Rhay

Google
The food is excellent and everyone raves about the brisket, but the real standouts are the chicken and the cream corn. The Texas Twinkies are good, the sauces are good, and the people are friendly and hard-working. But there really is no good reason why the line moves so slowly. They have a massive bottleneck on their service line, and there really is no reason for it. It's operational, because each of the interactions with the service staff move quickly. They could easily move people from the line to the dining room more efficiently than they do, but I'm guessing they don't really care because they're moving plenty of product, and people line up to get it, so why bother optimizing. I guess moving the line and making more money faster isn't a priority for them.

Dennis D.

Yelp
All around great Bbq and phenomenal service , I highly recommend this to anyone. Don't pass up on the sides and the deserts are free! Enjoy

Yelp
From Kansas and enjoyed the environment. As soon as we walked in Chris started talking to us about football and made for a pleasant conversation. Excellent BBQ and friendly service.

Yelp
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hutchins BBQ again, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience as always. The food was absolutely top-notch, with every dish embodying the rich, smoky flavors that true BBQ aficionados crave. The brisket was incredibly tender, the ribs were perfectly seasoned, and the sides were just as delightful--each bite was a testament to their culinary expertise. But what truly set Hutchins BBQ apart was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Their passion for great BBQ was evident, and they went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect. Hutchins BBQ is hands down the best BBQ spot I've ever visited. If you're in search of amazing food paired with outstanding service, look no further. I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their mouthwatering Brisket.

Yelp
Jeez this is one of the the best BBQs I have had in my life. My friends took me here when I was visiting Dallas a few months ago. Was truly truly impressed. Went there on a Sunday and waited for over an hour in the line but the hype was real and I don't regret one bit. Their meat is marinated and slow cooked for over 24hours which makes it sooooo tender and juicy. When you dine at the restaurant, the desserts are free. The banana pudding was great but the peach cobbler was to die for. The atmosphere says everything about what a true Texas BBQ should look like.

Michael D.

Yelp
Bbq is ok. The beef sandwich uses pulled/shredded meat, with the already sauce on it. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side. Turkey sandwich is ok as well, I just didn't taste much smoke flavor. Mac & Cheese was average at best..

Krystal S.

Yelp
My first time visiting and probably my last. I wasn't impressed. The beef ribs were HUGE!!!!! I was told the pork would have been a better option for me. There is a long line outside but it moved fast. I did appreciate them walking by with samples while we waited.

Shao-Lon Y.

Yelp
This was the best BBQ I've had in Texas, and this is coming from someone who's lived in Texas for 18 years! The lines are super long, we came at opening time and there was already a line around the block, but the wait is completely worth it. The meats are a bit pricey but the sides are only $3.99 and you can fill the container up as much as you want which is super cheap. You have to get the Texas Twinkie if you come here. The juicy jalapeño completely stuffed with cream cheese and chopped brisket all wrapped with thick cut bacon is divine. It was by far the best jalapeño popper I've ever had and was one of my favorite things here. All of the meats here are amazing. I love fatty meats so my favorites were the beef rib, burnt ends, and fatty brisket. A lot of BBQ restaurants season their meat way too salty, but the seasoning here was perfect. All of the meats were super smoky, extremely tender, and the fat melted in your mouth. The meat to fat ratio on everything was great and the BBQ sauces helped cut through the richness.

Drina R.

Yelp
Hutchins BBQ exceeds expectations with their flavorful and juicy meats. The brisket is consistently moist and flavorful, and the sausage has a satisfying snap with every bite. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, making it a great spot to enjoy a hearty meal with family and friends.

Yelp
Ok so my best friend and I get here about 12pm on a Saturday. There is a line going out the door, and we're thinking, should we stay and eat here or go somewhere else. We even ask the people in line ahead of us and they tell us it's should only take about 20 minutes to get in, because they only have counter service. Let me tell you I'm, so grateful we waited to try their barbecue! They're are a couple of life changing events in my life-getting married, having kids, winning at the slot machine and now I can add eating the burnt ends brisket from this place! Don't let the line rob you from some life changing barbecue! Everything we had here was delicious, I made a sample plate that had brisket, burnt ends, pork ribs and pulled pork. I also got a side of the creamed corn and coleslaw, I have no complaints about anything I had here. It's been a two days since I was there and even though it's 4 hours away from where I live, I'm thinking about going back next weekend! It's almost impossible to, but if by some miracle you save some space they have a free dessert bar that has peach cobbler, banana pudding (that they have no right to make as good as it tastes) and a soft serve ice cream machine. Just forget about your diet for the day and come eat here, you deserve it!

Yelp
OMFG. 6 out of 5 stars. I would fly back to Texas just to eat at Hutchins again. My brother drove an hour up north from where he lives, and honestly I was skeptical at first. But once I bit into that beef shank, my life changed forever. The line can get pretty long but this place of course is huge. Plenty of places to sit and hang out with a big group of people. The price of meat can definitely add up, but knowing you can pile on the sides and get free dessert, it's pretty worthwhile. You stand in line and ask for how many lbs of meat you want. We got a mix of jalapeno sausage, brisket, and beef shank to share. The beef shank is where it's at!! Sides were delicious. I really liked the mac and cheese. Make sure to save room for the "free" banana cream pudding and peach cobbler. Top one or both with soft serve. Service is fantastic here. Everyone out on the floor is so friendly. I love this place. I've gone around to visit all the major BBQ states and don't pledge total allegiance to any specific style, but Hutchins is definitely at the top of my list so far.

Yelp
What has taken me so long... First time to Hutchins and went to the Frisco location. Absolutely amazing melt in your mouth barbecue. We had the brisket, turkey, jalapeño sausage and a Texas Twinkie. All of it was amazing. Even all three sauces were delicious. Also have a nice method of sides where you pay for the container and you can pile on what you want for that price. Service was very friendly and the dining room accommodated the large crowd. Dining room staff were very attentive. Bonus: free ice cream soft serve, peach cobbler, and Banana pudding. Don't wait to try this place, go now.

Rafael R.

Yelp
Had this BBQ to go and WOW... it was absolutely delicious ended up having the brisket, shredded brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage, broccoli salad, and the mac and cheese. For it being catered, it was amazing! Many people swore by this place and I absolutely can see why.. Brisket/Shredded Brisket - Smoke rings, bark, and flavorful. The Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage - The cheddar was melty, spicy, and the sausage was properly cooked. Broccoli salad - Light, saucy, and delightful. Mac and Cheese - Cheesy, salty, and delicious. Lastly, finished it all up with the banana bread pudding and man was it fantastic. I could only imagine how delicious this would be at the actual location and sit down.

Terry J.

Yelp
Oh how I have missed you! Words alone can't begin to describe how good Hutchins BBQ is. I absolutely love the armadillos! Stuffed jalapeños with brisket, cream cheese and wrapped in bacon and finished with a glaze of their BBQ sauce. Heaven! Their ribs are the best in Texas and I'd fight anyone who disagrees. Tender, seasoned and their rub that is the right amount of flavor! Their burnt ends...simply said the best I have ever eaten and a must try. Their sides-Potato to die for salad. Soooo good. Today we tried their cream corn and it was soooo good. Mac n cheese=outofthisworld!!! Hutchins is just not good they're great. And their staff is amazing. From ordering to walking the line to checking out...everyone is friendly. Great people and amazing food...A WINNING COMBINATION! And to top it all off the banana pudding is amazing! Folks if you haven't tried Hutchins you are missing out! Lastly, consistency is what makes Hutchins special. Fort Worth needs you!

Mike G.

Yelp
Always a required stop when back in town. The long lines well before lunchtime confirm what everyone already knows. It's hard to go wrong here. For me, it's ribs, jalapeño cheddar sausage, a Texas Twinkie (look it up), and the broccoli slaw. Others in my family like the brisket...both chopped and sliced, potato salad, fries, and just about any of the other sides. Save room for the free banana pudding and peach cobbler with ice cream. You'll leave smelling like BBQ, full of BBQ, and content, because of BBQ.

Bryson W.

Yelp
There are a few red flags for me with BBQ places, having multiple locations and a restaurant that almost looks too nice and "chain-like" are usually not a good sign. I still think this is true, but in this case Hutchins is a narrative violation. I was even a little suspicious of the sides, the presentation takes me back to my elementary school cafeteria, but unlike my elementary school cafeteria the fixins weren't warmed up by someone's grandma nor did they have the texture of soggy cereal. Let's break it down: - brisket burnt ends (A) - as good as I've ever had. Got quite a bit and each bite was fantastic. - ribs (A-) - not much to say other than they were fantastic - jalapeño cheddar sausage (B) - it was good but not the best I've had. All bbq is "heavy" but this sausage was extra heavy. I would get it earlier in the day when it's still pretty dang hot. - Texas Twinkie (A+) - I got this on a whim when we went one evening and only got a few things because we weren't super hungry. Wow, so good. A must get. Sides: all self serve and you can stack up as much as you can in the container or even mix sides. - broccoli salad (B+) - there aren't many cold sides, so this is a nice change up - green beans (A-) - way better than I was expecting. I loved these. - creamed corn (A) - my favorite side and best creamed corn I've ever had. Must get. Also, the staff was incredibly friendly. Our server was so nice and the manager chatted with us for several minutes, talking bbq and even help us think through the next place to try. Also, who doesn't love free desserts.

Brittney R.

Yelp
I live for this buffet bbq type service. Yum yum yum. First time to Texas and first time eating bbq like this and it was delicious. Don't let the long line outside fool you. It goes quick and it's worth it! Great price for the amount of food you get. The people cleaning and picking up trays were awesome and so welcoming as well. This place was the most welcoming I felt in Texas.

Malinda S.

Yelp
Been on the hunt for the best BBQ... and I think I've found it The line was wrapped around so definitely get there early. You MUST get the Twinkie. There's nothing like it soooo good! The service was great very easy to get a table once you get in the building. Very family friendly establishment! They even gave you samples while you wait in line. I'll be back I'm obsessed Prices are fair for BBQ and you'll always have a plate to take home.

Eric Y.

Yelp
Overhyped as of late, but still pretty solid barbecue. Arrived on a Saturday afternoon, line was out the door. Waited approximately 45 minutes to get my food. Line didn't appear to really die down throughout the day into dinner time. They did have someone outside serving sample pieces of sausage while you wait and the sausage was really good (I'd probably get this if I come back). The meats - consistently good, tender and juicy. Don't think I've ever had a bad piece of meat at Hutchins. That being said I have ate other barbecue (specifically beef rib & pork ribs) that I prefer in terms of taste. All you can eat dessert (peach cobbler, banana pudding, and soft serve ice cream) is also provided and they are so good I ended up getting 3 helpings (might be my favorite part about Hutchins).

Xavier L.

Yelp
First time trying Texas BBQ. I LOVE the fact i can get as much or as little as i want. This gives you the opportunity to really sample. The place is awesome. The staff is super friendly. I chose the brisket sandwich, as i was there for lunch and didn't want to fall asleep back at the office. Bread was soft, briskett juicy. I HAD to try a Texas Twinky, that looks like a mini football. It's a jalapeno stuffed w/ cheese, wrapped in bacon and smoked. Legit. I'm a big fan of green beans and they did not disappoint. My only regret was not being able to eat more & stay longer. I'll be back!!!

Brian P.

Yelp
Hutchins Barbecue is a strong contender for the best BBQ in DFW! Despite the long line, the food was worth the wait. The beef rib was fantastic with its peppery crust and juicy interior, a must-try for BBQ lovers. The moist brisket was equally impressive, especially with their spicy sauce. The pork rib was good but a bit dry compared to the others. The dessert bar was the highlight, offering heavenly treats like banana pudding and peach cobbler with soft serve ice cream. The seating is spacious for groups, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Hutchins is a must-visit for BBQ enthusiasts and dessert lovers alike, earning its place in the BBQ GOAT conversation in DFW.

Michelle C.

Yelp
I've heard great things about this place from my peers and Keith Lee's review, and it certainly lived up to the hype! The BBQ here is amazing. We opted for takeout, which was much quicker than the dine-in line that wrapped around the restaurant. We ordered 1 lb of beef ribs, 1 lb of pork ribs, and 1 lb of brisket, along with pinto beans and mac and cheese. Every bite was flavorful and tender. The beef ribs were especially succulent, the pork ribs had a perfect smoky taste, and the brisket was very good. The sides complemented the meats perfectly, with the pinto beans and mac and cheese both being delicious. If you're a BBQ lover, this place is a must-try! Just be prepared for a wait if you decide to dine in. Highly recommended!

La'Tressa G.

Yelp
I thought swinging through here at 1pm for lunch on a Friday was going to be a quick in & out. The Keith Lee effect said "Take Out is the only way that'll be possible", because the way the dine in line was out the door at 1 o'clock when people should be at WORK ????? Anyway ordering to go was a breeze & the wait for what I ordered was barely 5 min. While I waited I looked around the inside at the decor. Not too much to say about it as the decor has your typical rustic, country "picnic" feel to it most BBQ joints have...with neon lights throughout. As pictured I ordered roughly a 1/4 lb of their brisket, a Texas Twinkie & a small side of peach cobbler. For those three items I paid $20 (which is ridiculous when you look at the portions I received). Now I will say the brisket was moist and fall apart tender, but flavor wise it didn't wow me. I think Hutchins would be wise to figure out a way to get the seasoning to penetrate into the meat & not just leave it on the crust. The stuffed jalapeño pepper was muuuch better, a nice sweet heat treat - just a good balanced bite. I also really enjoyed the cobbler....honestly I liked it more than the food lol. As soon as I bit into the cobbler I regretted not getting a medium. So if you've made it this far down my review, don't make the mistake of getting a small. If you have to sacrifice a side to get a medium or large cobbler, so be it lol. Overall, is Hutchins a book a flight from CA to TX for them good ? No, at least not yet (to me). However, if you're in the area or in the mood for BBQ they're worth a try.

Carissa L.

Yelp
If you're waiting in line right now and reading this review wondering if it's worth it..stay in line! It's totally worth it. They have the best brisket that I've had in Texas by FAR. 1000/10 recommend you try it. Their sides were also delicious and they have free, unlimited desserts of banana pudding, pie, and soft serve ice cream. The service was sooo kind and friendly as well. I HIGHLY recommend you add this place to your list.

Alex G.

Yelp
My #1 spot to visit in Dallas/Frisco did not disappoint!! Truthfully i am a bbq newbie, have only had it a few times and they weren't very tasty. This place showed me how REAL bbq should taste and i will never accept less than this lol. The food can be pretty pricey, esp the meat/lb price, but it was completely worth it. The Beef Rib was SOOOOO tender and flavorful, i wasn't crazy about the brisket but my bf absolutely loved it. I am a girl that loves her sides, and this place was made for me. They have a self-serve area where you can get as many sides as you want. They charge by the container, so you can mix and match inside each container and fill up to overflowing! We told the staff it was our first time and they were so great at explaining and recommending things. For dine-in, you MUST get the dessert. The banana pudding was great but the peach cobbler + ice cream was hella good

Donna Y.

Yelp
Hutchins BBQ in Texas offers an exceptional barbecue experience with tender brisket, succulent pork and beef ribs, flavorful sides like mac and cheese and pickles, and unlimited desserts. The standout dishes are the moist brisket and hearty beef ribs, showcasing the pitmasters' expertise and dedication to quality. Of course this is a must-visit destination for barbecue enthusiasts. Just be aware of the longer than usual lines.

Danette S.

Yelp
The food is always delicious. The brisket, ribs, jalapeño sausage and broccoli salad are my go-to's. I have never been disappointed and bring all out-of-town visitors here. I have even frozen BBQ to bring with me on vacation! Staff is always friendly and attentive.

Nicole G.

Yelp
The food is just so dang good...and consistent! Their brisket is so of the best ever. Great turkey, sausage, and beef ribs. My favorite is the Texas Twinkie. It's only available on the weekends. It's a jalapeño stuffed with brisket and cream cheese, then wrapped in bacon. It has the caramelized BBQ sauce on it. Soooo good! The sides are amazing too. My favorite of their sides is the broccoli salad! So refreshing with the BBQ. The service in the line is great - they are friendly and helpful. Dessert is complimentary and delish! Banana pudding and peach cobbler.

David L.

Yelp
Fast service and tasty BBQ. Just what you expect in Texas. Came here with a huge party during spring break. Party like it's 1999!!! We were running 14 deep with a bunch of hungry kids and Hutchins treated us right. They helped us pick the slices of meat and helped us set up in side with table service. Would recommend the beef ribs and most brisket. The potatoes salad was solid and pass on the beans. The burnt ends were tasty and chicken was nice as well. There can be a line but moves pretty fast. Pork ribs were pretty good too. Do t worry wha you you can't finish, tastes even better the next day if you crisp it up.

John A.

Yelp
This is the kind of place that can ruin certain food for someone like me....... I taught the ribs that I make were pretty good....obviously after having these ribs I can see I have to go back to the drawing board when I attempt to make ribs again because I am always going to compare them to these sumptuously tender, perfectly smoked, and deliciously seasoned pork ribs. I also did not really care for beef brisket in the past, I usually would pass it, but now after having this brisket that just melts in your mouth and had a perfect balance of smoky and peppery flavors am going to be asking for it and setting myself up for one disappointment after another. The jalapeño sausage had a nice crunch on outside but cheesy and spicy inside. The macaroni and cheese, Cole slaw and the jalapeño rams were also very tasty. To round up the meal the peach cobbler with soft serve vanilla ice cream was nice!! Am told the banana pudding was also excellent but I don't like that so did not try it. Overall service and ambiance were as good as the food. Long line to get in but once in there was a lot of places to sit as you buy the meat by the pound and the servings and self serve like a cafeteria style. I guess I did have to come all the way to Texas to have good BBQ!!!!!

Kimberly P.

Yelp
Still delish!! Their prices have increased but still provide delicious food! Restaurant still nice and clean. Staff still consistently funny. 10/10.

Solana A.

Yelp
Mighty Good BBQ here! Excellent from start to finish!! Came recommended and you can smell good BBQ soon as you hit the lot!! You can see the massive smokers on the way in!! Wowed! by the food, service and laid back atmosphere! It did not disappoint! Be prepared for a deli counter style set up...1) start with meat by the pound and come earlier rather than later they do sell out!! (Found out the hard way trying to go back the night before I left town) I had brisket, Dino rib, Texas Twinkie is a must get! (Jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese, brisket, wrapped in bacon, smoked and basted in house BBQ sauce! 2) next choose sides - and all are ! Checkout! Desserts are free! Peach Cobbler and Banana Puddin! Went to Frisco location! Run don't walk here!!!

Joann L.

Yelp
I am not really a BBQ person - I've had Texas BBQ once before and was not a huge fan but I will say I was pleasantly surprised by this place. We came here on a Saturday night - and there was a line out there door (there was hot chocolate outside which tasted pretty decent). The line moved quickly and they even passed out some samplers while we were waiting. I would highly recommend you come here hungry because it is A LOT OF food depending on what you get. I decided to go with the Brisket and the Jalapano cheese sausage. The brisket was really good - nice flavor and very tender. My favorite was still the jalapano cheese sausage - the favors were amazing and it was not too spicy but still had a bit of a kick. My colleagues were a huge fan of the turkey - they said it was surprisingly tender and not tough at all. My favorite side was definitely the corn and the mac and cheese was not bad at all. If you are dining in they have unlimited ice cream, peach cobbler and banana pudding - all which were delicious and the perfect end to the meal. If you are a fan of BBQ (or even if you aren't) I highly recommend you check this place out. All my colleagues LOVED IT here stating that it was the best brisket that they had ever had and some of them have been to many different BBQ places.

Yelp
O dang. The beef ribs here were so good. On top of the great bbq they have unlimited dessert. That's some southern hospitality. Friendly service as well.

Yelp
What a gem! I have fond memories of many meals at Hutchins. Not once did the food or staff fail to overachieve. I like the combo platter - a bit of everything.

Yelp
We had to stop by and try this bbq. It was fantastic. Liked all the meats and sauces. Our counter served by Michael provided great recommendations. We will definitely be back when visiting from hawaii.

Yelp
Hands down my favorite Texas bbq place in DFW. The meat is great, all their sides are very delicious. If you dine in you get free desserts - banana pudding, peach cobbler, and soft serve ice cream. Everyone who works here seems to enjoy their job and makes my experience very pleasant too. Ambiance is great too, with lots of Texas-y decorations so it's a great place to take visitors!

Yelp
Good bbq. Great service and food. The young Hutchin has steered the bbq ship well with focus on making what you got better versus expanding with more stores like a bbq McBBQ. Can not say the same for the "Original" Roy Hutchins, aka Randy Whites bbq. Anywho, Hutchins Frisco and McKinney are good Texas bbq.

Yelp
The food here is very consistent and very good We had the pork ribs, jalapeno cheese sausage, 1/2 chicken and a pulled pork baked potato with a side of fried okra - last minute we added to Texas Twinkies. I'd pass on the sides just because the proteins are great and I really don't need the sides. I've had the Texas Twinkie here in the past, not sure what changed out but today's version to me was a no go. The people here are great and attentive, zero complaint Restaurant and restrooms were clean. All in all a good experience

Yelp
Hutchins BBQ is located in Frisco off Preston Rd and Main St. I stopped in for lunch during an super cold arctic blast day, but was pleasantly greeted with some hot chocolate by the door, which was delicious. The line to dine in wasn't too long, probably because it was so cold and windy. I really stopped in mainly to try the out the Texas Twinkie, but ended up getting some brisket, turkey, a beef rib and some sides. The Texas Twinkie tasted even better than I was hoping, oh soo good. The ribs, brisket and turkey were all juicy, not over at all. After eating most of the food ordered, I got a tall swirl of ice cream and some banana pudding. Both were good. Every of Hutchins BBQ staff was super friendly, helpful, and patient even though the places was fairly crowded. One of the best BBQ joints in Frisco for sure.

Yelp
Me and Husband recently relocated to Texas from NYC. if you're from New York, you know New York doesn't have good barbecue. They may have one or two decent places, but it's really just not the great place to get barbecue anyway we came to Texas with high expectations that we would find great barbecue. The first restaurant that we found was not up to our standards, we left thinking why did we come here. Fast forward months later, I had saw Hutchins on the news and wanted to give it a try after being recommended by friends. And Baby let me tell you it did not disappoint. we ordered the pork ribs, potato salad, pinto beans with brisket, peach cobbler more like peach cake but really good. Warm with ice cream, and sweet tea/lemonade. Can I just say we already wanna go back? lol the food is so flavorful and so well seasoned, I mean the potato salad taste like my mama made it. We were so satisfied at the end of our visit that we are already 100% planning to return. And you should know that the sign of any good restaurant is a line out the door and this restaurant definitely had a line out the door for dine. Luckily we were able to go in and get takeout and eat on a bench outside of the restaurant, which was just as good for some reason even when we got home, we smelled like barbecue, which I was not complaining. do not hesitate. Please try the best barbecue I've had since I've been in Texas and I will definitely be back and recommend it to family and friends. It is worth Every penny. The only thing I didn't get to try, which I regret is the Texas Twinkie please check that out if you can it looks so good. Until next time.

Yelp
Only in Texas can walking up and into a bbq joint feel like a religious experience. A massive building surrounded by grills and smokers. Even before stepping a foot inside, you are immersed. Hutchins BBQ is a meat cathedral. If not for my usual BBQ go to being closed on this particular day, I would not ever have found Hutchins. Nothing is as satisfying as a fatty brisket, and as expected it did not disappoint. But this brisket lover has a confession.....the ribs are easily the best I've ever had. Smokey, fall off the bone....perfection. And this coming from a guy that normally doesn't care at all for ribs. The Mac and cheese is flavorful, but eat fast or it gets a little sticky! The broccoli salad comes with rave reviews but I found it just ok. A little salt and pepper would have gone a long way, but Refreshing nonetheless. The free peach cobbler is wonderfully done! If you can somehow find the stomach room to pack it in. At this point, either all other BBQ outside of Texas should go by another name, or maybe we must always just specify 'Texas' BBQ. Texas BBQ just hits different.

Yelp
The best BBQ I ever had. I am from Cleveland, Ohio so take it for what it's worth. Or what it's FORT WORTH.

Yelp
There will probably be a long line out the door but it's definitely worth the wait! I highly recommend getting the Texas Twinky and some brisket!!! I ended up liking the regular sliced brisket better than the chopped! If you dine in, you get free dessert including soft serve, peach cobbler and banana pudding! I like that you can mix and match your sides as long as it fits in the little side container. I can't wait to go back!!!

Yelp
Wow this entire dinner was so mouthwatering. First time having Texas BBQ and this place did not disappoint. Brisket 5/5: Each piece was so fatty, tender, flavorful and so warm! The first bite literally melted in my mouth. You don't need too much bbq sauce on the side with this one because I think the meat speaks for itself honestly. Pulled pork 5/5: Also amazing meat! Great smoky flavor, had good mix of fat bits and more lean meat, and pairs perfectly with the bbq sauce on the side. Jalapeño cheddar sausage 3/5: I wasn't really a big fan of this one personally. The sausage itself was good, but not sure about the jalepeno cheddar flavor. I think I would've gone for the regular smoked sausage next time. Sides were pretty good! I tried the creamed corn, fries, and baked potato casserole. They were pretty standard, nothing mindblowing but the potato casserole was kind of heavy. I think potato salad would've been better but I didn't know they had it until I saw it further down the line. They also had free complimentary desserts like ice cream, peach cobbler, and banana pudding! My fav was the banana pudding because it's very light and creamy, and it doesn't feel like you're eating too much. Overall very fantastic! Lots of seating inside as we came as a party of 6.

Yelp
I recently ordered the Party Pack from Hutchins BBQ in Dallas for a Texas BBQ New Year's Eve celebration, and it was an absolute delight. The brisket was hands down the best I've ever had - tender, flavorful, and expertly smoked. Accompanying the brisket, the loaded mashed potatoes and beans were perfect complements, adding a delightful variety of tastes and textures to the meal. However, the true standouts were the bacon-wrapped jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and brisket. They were the stars of the dish, providing a spicy kick and a burst of flavors that left everyone at the gathering raving. Hutchins BBQ not only exceeded my expectations but also made our Texas BBQ New Year's Eve a memorable and delicious experience. Thank you for creating such a delectable spread - you've certainly sparked a new NYE tradition for us.

Yelp
I was told this was the best BBQ in Dallas. I don't know if that is true but it was definitely VERY busy on a Sunday. We came around 12:15 pm and there was already a line. By the time we left the line was around the block. They give free sausage bites while you wait in line. Like any other BBQ you buy by the lb. We tried the brisket, hot link sausage, jalapeño cheddar sausage and the Texas twinkies. My favorite were definitely the TX Twinkies - jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and chopped brisket wrapped in bacon - mmm. The brisket was also good. We got broccoli salad and potato salad - both tasty. Dessert is free - your choice of banana bread pudding, peach cobbler and vanilla soft serve. Overall a solid spot for BBQ. If you're lactose intolerant I strongly encourage you to stay away from the soft serve. I learned it the hard way but I would come back for the meat again.

Yelp
I hear angels sing when I eat Hutchins BBQ. My god this place is a 10/5 star place for me and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that they were available for delivery on the Favor app (shoutout to Favor). It takes awhile but it's worth it! The hard workers at Hutchins also do an AMAZING job of packing everything up for to go orders. Yes, yes, yes. Everything is good here. Literally everything.

Yelp
I lived in the Dallas area for over 20 years. Was recommended this place several times over the last few years. I had it catered for my customer and all I can say is WOW!!! The absolute best burnt ends, I think the brisket blows all others away. The best I've had ever in any state. Excellent jalapeno sausage. Really great smoke turkey. Te sides excellent. Everything packaged fantastic with everything needed to serve the food. Hands down the best I've had anywhere and I've been on a mission from KC, St. Louis, NC, Georgia. Alabama, Connecticut. Florida. Even Lockhart TX

Yelp
Always authentic Texas bbq. Despite being fast casual, the service to refill drinks, bring dessert or anything else you need was great. Definitely in the top 3 for brisket I have had. Casual and always delicious.

Yelp
I was on the hunt for the best burger around, but since buying a place in TX... my gears have shifted a little. I have been on a pursuit to find the best BBQ joint. Granted, I can't say I've tried a plethora of places yet, but in the words of Smokey and Craig on a Friday night... "DAAAAAAAMN!!!" And right now I'm waiting for somebody to say "You know this MAAAAAAAAN!" Ok... happy to say this is the best Smoked BBQ joint to date. Damn. They had me at Hello as soon as I walked in them doors. Watch out for the irresistible ploy where you get to the front counter to order, and they slice a nice chunky cube of beef rib for you to sample. I don't even remember if the dude asked what we wanted. I think he said "how many?" I obviously ordered more than my stomach could handle, but I did make an effort. I ordered 1 succulent beef rib, which was Flintstone style ribs with a Hunka Hunka of love wrapped around it. Ordered 3 pork ribs which dang near dropped off the bone, 3 sliced brisket of tenderness and juicy fat that melt like butter as soon as it hovered over my tongue, and a Texas Twinkie that makes everything Hostess taste like a stale biscuit! That beef rib was mesmerizing in rich smokey flavor, but that Twinkie tho?!! I get why they sell them shirts now. We came with a group of friends from Washington and they were all beyond impressed themselves. What an experience for all! I won't say that I'm done with my pursuit and call it home, but I will say I ABSOFRIGGINLUTELY recommend this BBQ House any day, any night, any time of the week. The staff was great, the atmosphere was rustic, but most importantly... the food was to die for. Only if Wonka had invented pictures you can taste... because what I'm about to post is mouthwatering to the heart and soul! EAT HERE NOW and If you're on the fence, teeter on over to this side and experience this Goodness for yourself! The ONLY heart pounding concern you might have coming here is from sticker shock once they ring up that bill. Not for the faint of heart so come prepared . With that, as always... Enjoy and Happy Meat Coma Feasting!
