Hyde Park is a total gem! Their fire oven pizzas are pure magic—crispy, airy, and perfectly charred for that irresistible smoky bite. Whether you're a classic Margherita fan or crave bold flavors try the Busy Bee, every slice is next-level delicious. And the drinks? The gin martini is hands-down the best in the area—crisp, smooth, and perfectly chilled. If you love beets, don’t miss the goat cheese and beet terrine—it’s creamy, tangy, and absolutely divine. Great vibes, incredible food, and cocktails that hit just right—Hyde Park never disappoints!

My second visit here and it was as good as the first. I don’t know how I have passed this place up for so long. The quality of the food is top tier! The service is amazing! Selection of wines is great. Mixed drinks taste fresh and not at all watered down. I typically eat grain free but when I come here I splurge and don’t feel sick at all due to the quality of the food. Our faves are the pasta (Brie Alfredo) and the pizzas and Shishito peppers, but you can eat more conservative as well. This is quickly becoming a go to favorite.

I finally stopped by here today because I was craving good, brick oven pizza. I was not disappointed! The crust is a little different than my preferred NY style, but it was delicious. It’s more like homemade and very flavorful. At about $14 for a margherita pizza that could easily feed two hungry adults, the quality and value far exceeds chain delivery pizza restaurants. The staff is friendly and attentive. Other reviews mention that parking can be a challenge, and that’s true - there are a couple of great restaurants in this plaza, and the full parking lot shows that!

Google
Very good food and drinks! Would recommend this place if you're going on a date night and craving pizza! It's kinda pricey, but a nice treat every now and then. Parking was hard to find however and some people were even parking in the grass on a vacant lot, so car pool if you're going in a large group! Would go back if we are ever in the area again.

Three of us came for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were seated right away. Our waitress was friendly enough and did an ok job. We had cheese bread for an appetizer, the Buffalo chicken pizza, and the steak sandwich. Everything was delicious. Weird as it sounds, The bacon and the ranch on the pizza were our favorites. I do wish the pizza toppings went closer to the edge. There was too much plain crust. They have an interesting menu and restaurant has a good vibe.

Google
We went in for lunch on a Sunday at noon & it was quite empty which made us skeptical but everything was great! We got the nice to meat y’all pizza which was really good! & the cold cut trio which again was really good. It was a very refreshing summer sandwich I thought. Will definitely be back for dinner next & some drinks! Oh the only thing my husband said he didn’t like is their soda options, no Dr Pepper 🤣

Google
Some of the best pizza I've had... The BanhMizza surprised me, thought it was gonna be just for looks but it was delicious. All pizzas were tasty. The big pretzel was tasty as well, perfectly salted and cheese added. The Alfredo noodle lacked taste and the charcuterie board wasn't really my or anyone's favorite. Other than that. I definitely recommend eating here, enjoy!

Google
Charles, the owner, serves the dishes. If that’s not customer service. And KP (GEAUX TIGERS) is the cherry on top! We got the short rib Ragu and Cheezy Weezy Bread. Sit at the bar.

Yelp
I am noticing that there is a deplorable lack of reviews mentioning the fact that this place has a pickle pizza. PICKLE PIZZA! It is hands-down my favorite "odd" pizza. It has garlic cream sauce and prosciutto on it too. The crust is chewy and flavorful. I LOVE THIS PIZZA and I haven't had it anywhere else. They have lots of other really good flavors and they'll let you do 1/2 and 1/2 as long as the sauce base is the same so you can try more flavors at once. My husband got their version of a calzone once and it was extremely tasty. They also have a wonderful menu of craft cocktails that never disappoint.

Yelp
Why 4 stars? Because the pizza was exactly what I was hoping it would be. --- --- --- After a long day visiting my family, I was a starvin' Marvin. I looked on my bookmarks to see what was nearby and Hyde Park Kitchen was a pretty easy choice for my destination. I couldn't resist ordering a pizza... it was just too hard to pick one, so I opted for a Half Blanche Devereaux and Half Fungi. The fungi was excellent, the Blanche Deveraux was solid. In retrospect, I should have asked for no artichoke, but I did enjoy it, overall. I would not hesitate to come back here to try many of the other pizzas. But we also ordered the octopus and upgraded it to come with brussels sprouts. I am not one to exaggerate for the sake of shock value... so please believe me when I tell you that this was one of the worst dishes I have had in 2024. I do not have it in me to do this, but my Mom asked the waiter to please send it back. I'm happy to say that he did and he removed it from the bill, but I just cannot believe how poorly done it was. Nothing had any flavor to it. Because they took it back, I'm treating my rating like I never had it. I'm only mentioning it for future Yelpers to avoid!

Yelp
Noticed this place after dining at Nobi which is next door. We decided to have lunch here later in the week and it was a great choice! We shared the montano sandwich, the shorty, and some corn ribs to start. All three were delicious. The short rib is a small plate so given the price point, might not be worth it but the meat is succulent and perfectly tender. I would love to go back and try their pizzas and other offerings if I'm back in town.

Mechila B.

Yelp
YUMM 100/10 Corn ribs- MUST I don't remember what the pasta was called that we ordered but both were phenomenallll and came with yummy garlic bread. We got a couple drinks- our first round were daiquiris I believe and then my friend got a fruit pebble drink. The fruit pebble was our favorite. The atmosphere and service was amazing everyone was so nice and things were really clean. They have two places next door that I think is owned or run by the same peeps- I haven't tried the gelato but the place next to it is great as well. Can't wait to come back!

Keandra P.

Yelp
My friend and I visited the Space Center near by, and were looking for a place to eat after. YELP led us to this place! We first walked to Nobi next door, took a look at the menu. Then came to Hyde, and it was a good crowd and vibe, so we stayed. We didn't need a resy, but they have couches at the entrance if in case you need to wait for a table. We were quickly seated. They were about 70% full, good sign. I liked their open kitchen and the cozy looking bar. Service - I can't remember our server's name, but she was great. I didn't get the receipt, so I can't even look back on it. But she was young, bubbly, and full of suggestions. Food - we ordered the pasta and a pizza to split. And the pizza was very yum. We ordered half Blanche Devereaux and half pickle pizza, after consulting with our server. Both sides were very tasty, I would order this combo again. But the pickel pizza was my favorite. The idea sounds weird but so tasty. Would definitely come back for pickle pizza. My friend was already planning her next trip to come down here again midway through her meal, lol. The brie alfredo pasta was interesting & good. My friend thought it was delicious. You be the judge and try it. We realized later on in the evening that Nobi, Hyde, and Gelato are all the same owners. The business seems to be doing well, and their pizza game is strong.

Candy A.

Yelp
I love the bonhomie pizza here. It is so delicious. I would order it every week if I could. Also, they make all of the drinks from scratch with fresh juices. Very good restaurant I would come back.

Amanda C.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for a while especially since they have a wood burning oven and it has a really nice ambiance in the area. Not sure if their heater was broken because it was so cold inside that everyone dined in their covered outdoor patio where the warm heaters were. Our pizza came out so fast even before our roasted cauliflower appetizer. I had to go ask for our order. The lady said their pizzas always come out fast. That was the first for me at a pizza place and when I tasted it I could see why. We ordered the "Glad to Meat Y'all" with a crisp crust. Needless to say, the crust was soft and the sausage was cold. I was very disappointed as I was hoping this place would be my new go to in this area. Well, it's no Gypsy Poet and we most likely will not be returning. I must say the roasted cauliflower tasted better than my pizza.

Da'Shayla S.

Yelp
The food was AMAZING, my favorite was the pepper-pepperoni pizza. It was SO incredibly cheesy and fresh with a perfect level of spice. The Bedrock drink was nice a fruity and the alcohol wasn't overwhelming. Our server, James, was an absolute delight and he even put the birthday girl's dinner on the house! 100% recommend!

Charlene P.

Yelp
A lovely evening at Hyde Park. The wait on a Saturday evening was under 10 minutes. Our Fungi pizza was utterly amazing! The ambiance was beautiful and the service was efficient. Highly recommend especially for the Clear Lake area.

Brisa M.

Yelp
Pretty good place and cute for a date night. I ordered the pizza and it was okay... too much cheese for my liking but the meats were delicious. Others had burgers and eggplant sandwiches which they both really enjoyed. The Brussels were the star of the night. Service was also pretty good and waiters were attentive.

Prarthana P.

Yelp
hyde park has become a staple for me - everyone in my area loves it! great food and service all round with half off wine bottles on wednesday. love their pizzas (especially the pickle pizza and fungi pizza). if you sit outside you can also order from nobi which is very convenient!

Chrystal T.

Yelp
Hyde Park is one of my favorite restaurants in the Clear Lake area! All the food is delicious & the cocktails are great. But bring a sweater...it's often cold in there.

Zyda A.

Yelp
Extremely disappointed with my order. Usually Hyde Park is very good but today I ordered a plain pepperoni pizza for my kids and it had onions, peppers, garlic. My kids would not eat it and I was already home before I can have them correct the order. On top of this the brussel sprouts were so underdone I felt like I was eating raw brussel sprouts. This is not ok the amount I had to pay for this meal.

Adam H.

Yelp
I would hang out here 2-3 times a week if I could. This joint is airy, and the people here are friendly. The bar is extraordinary -- with local and craft booze -- and the beer menu is equally good. The food here is pretty darn good ... particularly the Neapolitan style pizza. Can't wait to make my way through the rest of the menu.

Tyler W.

Yelp
I frequent this area because of the skating rink nearby and needed a restaurant to go burn time and eat at. I found this restaurant on yelp and it happened to be right around the corner from the skating rink which was perfect. The restaurant is hard to miss and the building is very nice. There is a fairly large outdoor seating area that has seating capacity of various group sizes. I chose to sit inside because it had just rained. The inside is also very nice (see photos) and the music choice was nice - reminded me of songs I may play for myself i.e JAckie Brown by Brent Faiyez. Anyway, my experience overall was pretty good. My only complaint is that it didn't seem like there was clear communication between servers about who was responsible for my table. It took nearly 5 minutes for someone to bring me water and a menu. Also, it took me asking 2-3 diffrent people for me to close out my check. Other than that it was perfectly fine. I ordered the half-a-chicken with broccolini but there seemed to be a nice variety on the menu that I may explore next time I decide to come. My food was very good although the broccolini was slightly overccoked but not enough to ruin the experience. The chicken was excellent. I would definitly consider coming back here next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
Love this local gem. Great bar, great food. Sandwiches are next level. Had the meatball last time in and was very good. Made with fresh made dough that is used for their pizza crust. Service is always good. Very nice and attentive. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Attached to it is gelato place with fresh made daily. Great place end a good meal.

Christina G.

Yelp
5/5 for food and drinks. 2/5 for service. Incredible joint, a must go for pizza, but super disappointed in service. Everything we needed or wanted we had to ask for, and the worse part is there were only three other tables.

Dean C.

Yelp
They have an amazing meatball sandwich and a few other good dishes. I'm not a fan of their baby kale salad or their wedge salad. Their pizzas are good but definitely not the best around.

Lisa A.

Yelp
We had to by pass a previous restaurant (tookies) our well behaved dog was good enough to be invited during the COVID reduction of customers duration-now it's service dogs only on the patio. I guess they changed their mind since they got customers back. Well I'm just saying I'm glad it worked out that way! This place was fabulous! While go with plain seafood, pizza and salad when you can "off the plain and simple -yet plain and simple and it be awesome! Seriously-it's worth the drive-the flavors of their food was epic!

Allison L.

Yelp
Always spot on food, drinks, & service. Brought to you by the experts at Nobi. Their hot pizza oven churns out the best pizza crusts in the area! Inside has table service and you order inside at the bar for outside seating. The used to have a small boutique next door/adjoining, however Thru replaced it with a gelato place. Get all of your fixes in one area!

Darcy Tim S.

Yelp
This place has great atmosphere and even better food! We had pizza, and wedge salad with chicken. All was fantastic! Highly recommend this place.

Jason L.

Yelp
Good food that came out fast and fresh. Really liked the pizza but we tried basically everything on the menu and buying was bad. I enjoyed the Ellington cocktail as it's named after the nearby airport that is now over 100 years old! The drink was solid even without the cool name.

Chloe A.

Yelp
Cute place, nice staff, decent pizza. I had the "Nice to Meat Ya'll" a little on the oily and salty side but that's to be expected with a meat lovers pizza.

Thomas K.

Yelp
This is the second time I have had the pleasure of dining at Hyde Park Kitchen + Bar and quite frankly I am a bit embarrassed that I haven't made note and issued compliments that are due these folks for they run a very fine establishment. I've had an 'outdoor' dining experience (they're pet friendly) and had a wood fired pizza which was excellent, great prompt service on what was a very busy evening and simply a positive experience amongst the servers (they use bus in addition to waitstaff)...it provides for quite attentive service and prompt food and drinks regardless of their customer capacity. On this visit however was a relatively slow post lunch pre-dinner window hence chose to sit at the bar (I was dogless...she was napping) which was an even more plesant experience than the outside meal because I was able to see the 'top-shelf' liquors (and there is an abundance of them) and enjoy a conversation about the menu and alcohol (like a Yelper convention) with an enormously talented, service oriented bartender whose name escapes me however her NOLA background did not...I had the Ahi Sando which was a perfectly prepared, generous Tuna Filet with a delightfully spicy slaw on a brioche bun served with Fries which is not to be missed. I had an Old Fashion which was equally superb accompanied by a discussion about a number of Mezcals that I will return for in the future. This is truly a delightful and worthwhile dining experience however I will forewarn you that it 'fills-up' rather quickly during peak dining times which means that this review will be an afterthought for many Yelpers (and even some agnostic Yelpers). Executive Summary: Don't miss this dining opportunity!!!

Kenneth R.

Yelp
I sit down in the restaurant. There was only one other table and it took them a while to even come greet me. He brought me a glass of warm water. I was finally able to place my order. I got the pizza. The waiter recommended. And I asked for Coke or Dr Pepper told me that we only have them in bottles but we have root beer on tap. So I ordered a root beer. I'm sitting there eating my food and I asked for a refill. He told me there's no refills of any drinks in this restaurant besides water. The water warm with no ice and it taste like it came out of the bathroom sink. Half their seating is outside. Yes they serve zero refills. I was pissed. If you eat here, make sure you're not thirsty. Make sure it's not summertime and it's not 100° outside because charge you for every single drop of moisture they give you. Just remember the warm bathroom sink. Water is always free.!

Chelsea P.

Yelp
My favorite drink here is The Girlfriend. If you come to Hyde Park you should for sure get the Margherita pizza. JJ is a fantastic bartender who mixes the best drinks and is very sociable and welcoming. I would hit up Hyde Park anytime he is working.

Stephanie W.

Yelp
Hands down the best hand crafted sandwich I've ever had. The Other Side & Bre, myself & I w chicken. The other side with the balsamic is so tangy and tasty. The Bre was a sweet and complex flavor that was so tasty. The bread is a star within itself! The flatbread is a work of art! We didn't get one, but the pizzas looked heavenly! Service was wonderful. The environment is hip and trendy. Very welcoming.

Allie L.

Yelp
One of our favorite go-to local date night places. Consistently good food, great atmosphere and ambience, kept clean and well-maintained (except for the parking lot!) Counter service ordering and self-service for water, utensils; you'll get a number and your food and drinks will be brought out to your table. Unique flavors and good quality food and beverages. Love love love the beet terrine. Stopping in their connected Gelato shop afterwards is a fun way to end a great meal.

Isaiah R.

Yelp
Went during a Saturday afternoon with my fiancee. Clean environment, relaxing, good service, wine was great, and food was solid. We started off with a board, got two different pizzas, and had a bottle of wine. Plus there's a gelato restaurant attached to it as well! Will definitely be coming back.

Jennifer W.

Yelp
Another home run with the pizza. This time I also got a salad with ahi tuna on the side and it was delicious! A must try!

James H.

Yelp
We've been to Nobi Public House (for lunch) and Hyde Park Kitchen & Bar (for dinner) and decided to try Hyde Park for lunch. Great idea. My wife and I usually order different meals to try out the menu and share a few bites to get an idea how things are. But today we both wanted the "Not A Mis-Steak" sandwich. Grilled steak (not thin cut like a Philly steak sandwich) chunks, grilled onions, parmesan cheese, garlic butter, and horseradish. Served with a great Au Jus. This was one of the best steak sandwiches I've had. I have to mention the great service provided by our waitress and the bar. This is why we keep going back.

Krystella Z.

Yelp
This place is a regular for me and my family. With a variety of foods it always hits the spot. My go to is the cold cut trio, my girls like the pizza and spaghetti and meatballs ( just one huge meatball to be exact), and my husband decided we switched it up this trip and try there pickle pizza, which was awesome. Service is good, and love the option to sit inside or outside. Good spot for a date or just family time.

Nhu H.

Yelp
Their wood fired pizzas are the stars of the show. It's light, fluffy packed full of flavors. My group shared the fungi pizza and the marg pizza. Fungi wasn't my favorite but the marg was so good. For apps we had the Brussel sprouts and the meatball. Brussel sprouts weren't as crispy as I liked but the flavor was still there. I really liked the meatball. We also had the pesto pasta and that was good as well. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Major points is that they're dog friendly here. They have an outdoor patio in the front. We brought our two fur babies here and dined outdoors in 40 degree weather and they had heaters outside to keep us warm. If you sit outside it's self service. You just order at the counter and they bring your food out. We were comfortable and had no issues. It's also very chic and modern inside as well. You can swing by next door for gelato afterwards. Apparently nobi, the gelato spot and Hyde park share owners. Overall recommend if you're in the area.

Shelly S.

Yelp
First and last time here. My brother has been on a mission to eat at every wood fire oven pizza place so we decided to go here for beer and pizza. Start with the waiter. He was a young guy with zero interest in helping us. So we order the Buffalo Ranch Chicken pizza. I ordered the wedge salad. About 30 minutes later guy from kitchen brings out pizza. It looks so sad and unappetizing. The cheese and toppings were only in the middle of pizza and almost 4 inch gap from crust until toppings started. It had chicken, bacon and sauce was supposed to be a white mushroom sauce. I have included a photo of pizza. The chicken was tiny shreds of old chicken. The bacon was like bacon bits that had been cooked 2 days before and then thrown on our pizza where they continued to cook and burn. Seriously a Tostinos frozen pizza had more taste and toppings compared to this one. I had to grab the waiter as he was running by to ask about my salad that never showed up. He looked at me and said in an angry tone "it's on its way!" Ok big guy everyone likes their salad after their main... not. Salad was an old head of yellow lettuce with same burnt up bacon bits and dressing dumped in the middle of the 2 pieces of wedge. It was horrible. Waiter never came to check on us. Never asked how the food was. I had to grab him again just to get check. Just bad.

Germaine B. B.

Yelp
5 Stars!! First time to dine here at Hyde Park and it was very good! Didn't know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. This is Pizza and Italian yumminess. Our Server was great and very informative. Since this particular evening was a time of celebration, my Broker and I opted for a Shot. Our Server assured us that the BarTender would create something Magical. Sure enough she did!!! We enjoyed it immensely. One Pizza, breadsticks and 2 glasses of Vino later, we were so full!! All was good and delicious. Will definitely be back.

Sidney K.

Yelp
Great food and trendy ambience. I haven't tried everything yet but I can say the pizza is great and the pasta is also fantastic. Local business that I like to support

Andrew M.

Yelp
Save your time and money. Servers aren't attentive and food is laughable. Way too expensive. Interior is kind of confusing, looks nice but also looks boring as hell. I'd rather put my face in a blender

Laura S.

Yelp
The pepperoni pizza and roasted cauliflower are our favorite items. We are never disappointed. This place is severely underrated! Everything always looks and tastes fresh.

Mia J.

Yelp
Cheesy Weezy on point! Wedge salad was just ok. I wish the food could've been in more sturdier to-go containers. The Shorty...i was expecting a lot from the reviews. Wasn't happy. It came with a very small piece of short ribs & wedge potatoes. When I was ordering, the description showed a veggie as , it was absent from my order.

Cindy C.

Yelp
My daughter and granddaughter went there for supper we couldn't find a table of 4 for us so we set at a table of 6. The waiter asked us to move to a bar table and told him it was hard for my granddaughter to sit on those tall tables so we prefer the regular size. From then on the service was horrible food was not good another waiter ask to fill out water and we told her we just wanted our check. Bad service.

Oscar C.

Yelp
Great food, environment, and ambiance! The waiter was attentive and got us every thing we needed when we needed it!! I would recommend this place for a date night or a get together.

Heather V.

Yelp
First timer, but I will be back! First off when we walked in at 5pm on a Friday we were immediately greeted and told to pick any table that was open. Lucky for us, they weren't crowded yet so we got seated right away. 3 seconds later we were greeted by the friendly waiter and drinks were ordered and delivered right away. I wasn't sure what drink to order but wanted to try something from their drink special menu so I asked the waiter for a recommendation. ( FYI.. Happy Hour is 4-6 M-F). He asked what I typically like to drink and then gave his recommendations. I ended up with "THE GIRLFRIEND" which was very good ( if u like a little sweet and sour) and I followed it with the Lychee sour. Also, very good. Time for food! We ordered the charred octopus with Brussels sprouts ($18) and it was delightful. If u are a texture person, this might not be your first pick. My daughter, who was with me, is still experiencing food and texture of foods is still something she is working on. This dish is savory, but obviously the octopus has a tough texture. In my opinion, they cooked it well enough where it wasn't too chewy. We both enjoyed it. We also ordered the "BUSY BEE" pizza. It was soooo good! I will definitely order again! Our waiter was sure to come by every 10 mins or so to make sure we were taken care of. All in all we had a great experience and I look forward to coming back and trying something new.

Danny S.

Yelp
This and Nobi are my favorite restaurants in the city. I always recommend this place to anyone visiting. Half chicken is my personal favorite, however the pizza is really good and I love the cocktails here. The bartenders are very friendly if you sit at the bar, however you can sit inside or outside and it's great

Prod. s.

Yelp
Always a stellar experience at Hyde. Went there with some buddies who recommended it and was consistently impressed the entire night. The atmosphere is extremely comfortable and I've found it to be relaxing and fun. (Right next door is a gelato place so save room for dessert!) I've been there half a dozen times now and always try something new. The pizza's they serve are pretty tasty. I usually get the classic Margherita. Their menu is unique, appropriately priced and generously sized! In my most recent visit I tried their "Other Side" sandwhich and was blown away. Definitely a must try! Drinks are very special too. A portion of them have been created by the bartenders and they should be extremely proud of themselves. I've tried all their signature cocktails and have enjoyed more than less. They're all unique and delicious. I usually ended up grabbing a dirty vodka martini as well as one of their cocktails. Overall, an outstanding combination of classy flavors and design with a homey atmosphere and a very diverse menu!

Andrew A.

Yelp
Sandwiches are great! Got the Ahi Tuna sandwich and swapped the bread for flatbread and didn't get wasabi aioli, waiter was super sweet and open to customizations. Also got the sweet corn soup, steak sandwich, and wedge salad. All were incredible! Great ambiance, attached to a gelato shop and right next to a bakery for an easy dessert post meal.

Michaella G.

Yelp
This place is a not so hidden gem, directly next to the illustrious Nobi. When it comes to the food, service and overall vibe this place really is five out of five stars. I've never gotten anything I didn't really enjoy, cocktails included. And taking advantage of nice weather in houston is a must so the outdoor seating is a plus. The only note I have is: the ordering and sitting outside situation is a little confusing. We walked into the place and then came back outside to scan the QR code. Then came back in to place the orders at the counter. Maybe if they had a sign when entering the patio, it would be a little more seamless. Overall, absolutely a place to stop by!

Roxie C.

Yelp
Great vibe! The pizza was delicious and the drinks were refreshing. Great place for some good food and drinks :)

Tammy N.

Yelp
We were super excited to try Hyde since the parking lot is always full and the great reviews. There were 4 of us had to wait 20 mins no big deal at all. Ordered drinks while we waited .My husband and I received our drinks quite quickly.. unfortunately our friends did not until we were sat at our table 25 mins later.. they sat us at this tiny table barely room for anything let alone the food 4 people would order.. (btw there was. Large table right beside us but it said reserved ??) half the plates were hanging off the table. Server came by one time to fill one glass of water ... Now the food, Brussels sprouts needed balsamic glaze they were bland The Brie was delicious A+ Shrimp Alfredo is not a classic Alfredo ,shrimp were over cooked. Had high hopes for a new place to try and we were sadly disappointed Ahi tuna tasted fishy and was served with lays potato chips ...

Patricia S.

Yelp
So good!! Love the charcuterie board and steak bites. The pizza has been delicious also.
