"When award-winning designer Amy Kwong moved out of her home studio, she decided to go the extra mile. Finding a space larger than she needed let her open a store in addition to the studio. With lots of elbow grease and paint, she breathed new life into her upper-deck digs. IHACOY celebrates the weird and the wonderful. The selection is mix of charismatic house-brand products (neighbourhood keychains, gold-foil greeting cards) and rare, designer-friendly goods (ostrich pillow, helvetica perfume). some of the stuff is cute but the vibes of the store are really off and i felt like we weren’t welcome! idk if it’s because we aren’t the target demographic (gen z) but maybe that’s just their vibe. the brunette lady working was not our biggest fan which is ok! but we deffo felt the pressure to scurry out of there.

Cute and very unique decorated place, Must visit place if working near by and to support local workers. Talked to the people working there who are super friendly and spoke to me about the prints and screen print art that they themselves made. They make cool cards as well and have many different artist they sell for.

Yesterday a friend and I visited the venue for my 1st time as Quickies Cup Noodle was having an opening party for their new outlet which is located in the corner. I found I Have A Crush On You to be a bright and colourful small shop with a wide variety of items for sale which are unique variations on typical items for sale that are good as gifts for others. They have small, humourous greeting cards, bottle openers, t-shirts and key chains among many other items. I recommend stopping by if you're in the neighbourhood and looking for a unique gift for someone and/or a souvenir.

Smitten Kitten is an award winning design studio based in the heart of downtown Toronto. Sometimes cheeky, always charming. I am still one of those people whom writes in a journal with a pen. I use stationary all the time. I'm 100% in the digital world, however, there's a part of me that likes to go back to the basics of pen and paper.
