I Love N.Y Pizza

We have a few favorites we rotate through but this time tried out the Lemon Garlic Shrimp pizza. Good choice. 😋 Our child that "didn't want to try a new pizza" had seconds.

We've been to I Love N.Y Pizza many times and usually love their food, especially the paneer pizza. However, our last visit was a bit disappointing. The pizza we received was clearly overcooked, but when we brought it up, the staff insisted it wasn't burned. That was frustrating, but aside from that, the experience was still decent. The atmosphere and other menu items were as good as always. Hoping for better consistency next time!

I’m originally from NY and the pizza was delicious but not some of the staff and owners that worked here.

Cousins service was great, the lady at the from was polite and friendly, I ordered the steak Stromboli and it was “Hot and flavorful”. I definitely recommend to come here.

I'm always skeptical about places that claim to have NY Pizza. I grew up in Brooklyn and in FL everyone claims to have NY Pizza but it's usually not very good. When I arrived, I was a bit worried because although I'm a "brown dude", I was surprised to see "brown folks" running a pizza spot. It smelled and looked great so I just grabbed the food and left. I brought the Pizza back to the hotel...and man...it was delicious! The crust was thick but the bottom was still nice and crunchy. The sauce was also delicious and it had good cheese. We ate every last piece, crust and all. When I'm in Gainesville again, I'll most definitely make the stop again...a few times.

I recently tried I Love NY Pizza, and it was absolutely amazing! The pizza was fresh out of the oven with a perfectly crispy crust, gooey cheese, and the most delicious toppings. Each bite was a flavor explosion, and it honestly made me feel like I was in New York. The combination of fresh ingredients and expert preparation really made this pizza stand out. I couldn’t stop eating, it was that yummy! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly satisfying pizza experience!

We are running “ nana camp “ at my house. When I asked what they wanted for lunch , pizza is the favorite answer. I love NY Pizza really has great pizza and my Greek salad was top notch. I ordered at 11:57 it arrived at 12:17… that’s pretty quick even for 1 1/2 miles away.

Friday deal: pizza slice, salad, drink $11. Good value.

Ordered online. Pizza is good. Second time and I will go back. Service is cold and disorganized. There for food so no worries.

3.9 stars. I just moved to the area and tried this place twice via Uber eats. Honestly, the wings are the best thing here! The Garlic Parm are the bomb. Ranch decent. The meatball sub was large but just ok, soggy. The pizza also just ok. The first pizza I ordered they were very stingy and sparse with the toppings. I had to air fry the pizza to make it more crispy and cooked. Funnel cake fries were mid. On the expensive side. I would just order the wings again and pizza from somewhere else. Give it a try for yourself.

Our family enjoys this pizza place! Their Stromboli is really good, and the pizza is great! Our order is always accurate and service speedy!Their location cannot be beat! We always order for pick up, but they do have seating inside as well as a cute little patio with seating to dine in if you choose!

This is, without question, the absolute worst pizza in Gainesville. Inedible. Service is what you'd expect from a typical pizza place and the cleanliness was fine. The pizza itself was just drastically bad. Nothing redeeming whatsoever.

Great, NY style pizza by the slice or whole pies. If you are craving a huge slice of thin crust, NY pizza, this is the place! I try to stop by every time I'm in Gainesville. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Service is quick and friendly. Weekday specials!

This pizza place is my favorite. The pizza is so delicious! I like to try the meal items, also- like eggplant parmesan, lasagna, eat. The eggplant meal was a couple of slices of soggy eggplant on top of a ton of spaghetti & sauce. Putting eggplant on top of the sauce makes it soggy. Did not need so much spaghetti & sauce. This costed $14. The second meal I tried was the lasagna. I like a little ground beef in my lasagna- but the meat was on every layer! It was ground beef overkill, literally. The sauce was delicious, it had cheese, but it consisted mostly of ground beef, to where you couldn't taste the cheese. The photo below is the meat that I couldn't eat

I moved to Gainesville a little over a year ago and the pizza here was amazing. This is no longer the case. I went back a few months ago and the pizza was terrible (crust was thick, suave was too sweet, etc.). Before I wrote them off I decided to try again and the pizza was even worse. I am not sure what has caused this place to decline so quickly but it is truly disappointing and I will never go back. If you are looking for an authentic NY pizza, this is NOT it.

Had to try this place as they just purchased San's Pizza Ocala and wanted to see how theirs is. Well, I am very let down and my hope as is the hope of countless other San's customers was that they would do justice to the pizza we all know and love. Unfortunately, if this pizza is what they will be making in Ocala, many, many customers will be going elsewhere. It is a sad day indeed, as this pizza has the flavor of quality of a chunky cheese pizza... so sad.

My boyfriend and I went here and both bought a single slice. The slices are a great size and tasted amazing.

Awful customer service! I ordered a pizza and it wasn't cooked all the way through. The dough was literally RAW. I called and let them know and their response was for me to pop it in the oven to cook it or spend more gas money to drive it to their business so THEY can put it in their oven. Not willing to credit my account. Not willing to give a coupon. Just, "I'm sorry. Please feel free to put the $20 pizza you paid us to cook in your oven and cook it more." Wow. I won't be giving them my business anymore or suggest them to any one else. Horrible experience

I went to this location and attempted to pay part of the amount owed with a gift certificate received 2 days prior. The owner advised staff not to accept payment. the website states this is a family business that "support our local businesses, schools, and youth organizations." This is no longer true we won this certificate at a charity event via silent auction 2 days ago. Not accepting was deplorable!

This place is the only place in Gainesville that I have found that sells Sicilian Pies ! It was amazing but it wasn't bad. Just super pumped you can get this somewhere in Gainesville and it's solid.

First time going to this joint. Horrible. I asked what comes on the Italian sub. The lady at the register didn't know and had to ask someone else. That's fine. Maybe new employees can just learn as they go. I ordered the sub to go. Got home and there was nothing on the sub except meat, bread, and cheese. Maybe it's my fault for not being more specific when I was told it would be ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone. I assumed there might be some kind of veggies and sauce. Boy was I mistaken. The bread is good. The meat and cheese is good. If I wanted a charcuterie it would be great. As a sandwich it's dry and unflavored. It was my first time going. Might be my last. I should go ask for a refund but that might get screwed up also. Oh well, you live and you learn.

Under new ownership. Pizza is horrible. I suggest Piesanos. Pizza dough taste like Nan and not authentic NY pizza. Cheese is cheap quality and sauce is not the way it used to be.

This was a third/fourth chance due to their location... still very disappointing. The crust wasn't even cooked and the center was doughy and raw. I've tried this place enough and its the definition of insanity. I even got one of their take and bake to pizzas to go. The sauce is so bland there is no flavor. The pepperoni were grocery store quality and the mushrooms were canned. No flavor. The crust didn't rise or bake properly the next day on the take and bake. I'm done. They need a major recipe overhaul. This is not a place I will ever recommend unfortunately and I'm forgiving .

We live in Valdosta, GA and are driving through Gainsville, FL to Cedar Key for our 10th Wedding Anniversary so we decided to look for a place to get good NY Pizza. This place didn't disappoint, DELICIOUS! The patio atmosphere was great. The owner was so sweet & kind very welcoming. She even gave us a dessert on the house for our Anniversary. We definitely will hit this place up again when coming to Gainsville. Oh and by checking in on Yelp we received 10% off our bill!

Great, authentic Italian pizza and food. Convenient for a family to grab and go- we always enjoy their specialty pizzas and garlic knots!

This place is one of our regulars! The pizza always comes hot and fresh. The toppings are quality. The fettuccine is great. I've ordered here around 10 times and have never had a bad experience with food or customer service

A pizza place that makes everything fresh to order. It definitely takes longer than Little Cesar but the difference is worldly. The prices are cheap and the taste is delicious. I'm a huge fan of their marinara sauce. However I was not a fan of the garlic rolls. It was too crunch on the outside for my liking and too greasy that I barely wanted to finish eating it after a bite. The Hawaiian pizza was my favorite and I love the dough also. I would come back from a couple slices! It's good NY pizza without having to travel all the way to New York!

Got the medium pizza- half cheeses and half what my husband wanted. It was the perfect size for two. Nice crispy crust. Also loved the side salad with Italian dressing- classic and delicious.

Best pizza place in Gainesville. Cute outdoor patio. Pizza is fresh and delicious. I have lived in Manhattan and this place knows how to make a good nyc pizza. Their driver truly messed up. I have no clue where she dropped my food. Although when we finally got our food 2 hours later after delivered to another sw 68th terrace all is well. Pizza always the best. Please if u are confused call the person on the delivery. Love u guys. Ty for going out of your way

I prefix this review with the fact that I moved here from NY a few months ago. So my standard is set by my experience in NY. I ordered my family's dinner as a pickup. The attendant was very nice and accurately placed my order. Ordered the large pie with garlic knots dinner special and an order of spicy chicken wings. Included was two extra toppings on the pie but I just got extra cheese. All this came out to under $30. Picking up the order was uneventful. The folks are super friendly and had the order ready. I only live ten minutes away and the food was nice and hot when we started eating. Large pie with extra cheese. So as documented on the menu this is a 16 inch pie. From where I am from this is more like a medium-sized pie. The crust is what I would expect out of a NY pizza. The sauce is bland. The amount of cheese is what I would have expected as standard, not an extra portion as I had ordered. Garlic knots. In my opinion these are not garlic knots. I would describe it as garlic flavored corn bread. It was very airy and was not tied into knot. Spicy chicken wings. The wings were pretty big with lots of meat. The flavor was good but they were super dry. The consistency made them inedible. This was my first visit and I plan on returning because perhaps this is not the typical experience. I always want to give a place at least five visits before coming to a final resolution. Will post again to update the review. One star for great customer service + one star for order accuracy = Two stars. The remaining three I reserve for yummy which just wasn't there.

My wife and i lived in Queens NY for a year , so we have high hopes for a place which claims it serves New York Pizza. Unfortunately the pizza here was just ..okay. Our base test is always to try a cheese slice (to see if they can nail the basics). The pizza dough was bland and the sauce was boring. On the bright side their interior decor did remind me of some old school NYC pizza joints (wish they did not have an over abundance of NYC ikea art) I think they had Upstate New York in mind and not NYC pizza for their pies. Nothing wrong with that, just not what we were looking for.

So this is the first time I've been here but not the last. I had a meat lovers Stromboli & my kid had a Italian sausage Stromboli. It was behind a case, so they stick it in the oven to reheat it & at first I was thinking its not fresh but it was delicious regardless. And fairly fast which was important to me at that time. The meat was great & it was well balanced w the cheese & crust. I do like having an option of a slice & they do have a nice variety to choose. My biggest regret is not buying a cheesecake, cuz it looked GREAT.

It was just so-so pizza. I have had a lot better pizza elsewhere in Gainesville, so I was disappointed with NYP.

Love the Grandpa with his fabuloso cleaning he reminds me of my dad who has passed but the Pizza is the best

This is our families go to pizza place. Food always comes out quicker than time given. Staff is friendly and there pizza is pretty good too. My favorite is the deluxe and my kids like sausage pizza.

This isn't really a sit down and eat pizza place but we didn't know. We had a coupon but realized the coupon didn't really give us that much of a deal. Regardless the food is pretty cheap and good. My husband particularly loves that they sell by the slice. The pizza was good and the service was good. We we probably go Back again.

We travel quite a bit between Tampa and Savannah, but always make this wonderful place a priority for delicious pizza!! The staff is friendly and the pizza with its generous toppings is fantastic! We will be back again and again!

I have been ordering pizza from here for several years. It's good pizza. It happens but still a bummer that today pizza was cold. I also ordered a steak and cheese sub. Big mistake. It was awful. Lesson learned. Will stick to pizza and they also have good meatballs

My family ordered some pizzas for pick up the night before Thanksgiving. I had a gluten free pizza with five toppings and it was really good. The location is simple to find and the food tasted great and everyone was satisfied. The pieces for the regular pizzas were really large. The gluten free pizza was 10 inches with much smaller pieces. Roughly eight small pieces. Because of the gluten free crust upcharge and toppings, my pizza cost me over $15 which is a bit pricey for a small pizza like that. Overall, though, the taste was good and everything was ready when we arrived.

This is the best pizza in town. The Park Avenue Pizza is amazing. All their food is great, service is excellent.

Used to love this place. Gone way downhill as of late. I attempted to call in my order and was placed on hold. 5 minutes later, my wife called and was asked "delivery or pickup". I guess they forgot about me being on hold.

I don't know how this is the only pizza place in Haile. Their "deep dish" pizza is a joke. It's a giant piece of bread/dough with a thin layer of toppings. Even if it had more toppings it still wouldn't be a deep dish pie. Disappointing.

Great pizza. And you can get it by the slice- just as if you were in nyc. Great flavors and the crust is done perfectly. The center of the pizza is never soggy and the crust holds the toppings and sauce perfectly without being too thick. The white pizza and the meat lovers were my fave. Highly recommended.

This is my to go pizza place in Gainesville! The pizzas here are really good (especially their specialties). You can order whole pies or slices that are really big.The crust is nice and crispy while the toppings are fresh! I lived in queens new york for awhile and this pizza is the closest I've had that is similar. The staff is always smiling and the owner makes small talk and ensures everyone is happy. Not only are the pizzas good but their entrées are also on point; I really enjoy their eggplant parmesan entree and I leave full. They sometimes have written down entree specials and I give those a go and I have yet to be disappointed. The calzones are really greasy but full of flavor. But, lets be honest, you wrap up three types of meat that have a lot of fat in it anyways and you bake it; of course theres gonna be a lot of oil because thats just how the ingredients are naturally! Id be more afraid if it wasnt oily. I just tilt it and so some of the oil will drip out. That being said, some reviews complain about the pizzas being too oily but again, you have cheese and meats that make oil so no surprise it might be oily. If its too oily, you can use their unlimited ultra special napkins to pat out the oil! Did I mention it was unlimited!?!? They even have a punch card rewards program that you ask for free. What other pizzeria does that? All in all, this a place for really good pizza and other dishes. I gave a 4 star only because inside is really small if you want to eat in but there is a really nice patio area if the weather is nice.

Ashley the amazing manager here fixed our problem right away. We have returned to the pizzeria since this incident about 5 times and they have shown us a friendly attitude and exceptional service! Hot, gooey melted cheese on golden brown crust cooked to perfection hits my taste buds like I was a good girl and died and went to heaven. I woke up in a puddle of drool on my pillow again dreaming of I Love New York Pizza. What more of a sign do I need that I NEED garlic rolls and masterfully prepared olive oil sauce to dip them in? I don't! I won't stop eating this pizza until I'm dead and then it is all you can eat pizza buffet.
