I was genuinely looking forward to classic Georgian flavours, but unfortunately the experience fell short.
We ordered a tomato salad with walnut dressing and it had absolutely no seasoning at all, not even salt. The tomatoes themselves were fresh and good quality, which made this even more disappointing, because the dish had potential but was simply unfinished.
The rest of the food overall was fine, but very forgettable. Nothing stood out, and none of the dishes delivered the bold, distinctive Georgian flavours we expected.
The bigger issue, however, was the environment. The restaurant became extremely busy, but the air conditioning was clearly not working properly. It became hot and stuffy very quickly, which made the experience uncomfortable. Children were crying, which is of course not the restaurant’s fault, but the heat definitely made the atmosphere worse for everyone.
What really crossed the line was the hygiene impression. It was so hot that when staff walked past our table, there was a strong smell of sweat, which was genuinely unpleasant and off-putting while eating. Overall, this was a missed opportunity.
