Iberia Georgian Restaurant - Review - Pimlico - London - The Infatuation

"We make a lot of excuses to visit Iberia Georgian Restaurant, turning up at its doorstep like a besotted lover who doesn’t live anywhere near Pimlico. Inside, chequerboard floors and the chance to brush hands over a khachapuri cheese pull makes this spot a popular date night location. Small groups are here too, bottles of wine waiting in buckets of slowly melting ice as they debate getting the honey cake for dessert. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Come for tasty, classic Georgian dishes and aesthetics that will make you feel chic by association—think, traditional stone soup pots, floral garnishes, and a terracotta and green colour scheme. When booking, you’ll get the option of the ground floor or lower ground floor. We like the ground floor best, with the buzz of arriving diners, friendly servers drifting between tables, and warm, peachy walls. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Food Rundown photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Pkhalis Asorti As pretty as it is tasty, this is the type of dish you photograph and get for that table to pick at, preferably with hunks of smoky lobiani lorit, a pork-stuffed bread. Each of the chopped and minced mounds of vegetables are fresh and light, with little sprinkles of nuts and hits of garlic. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Acharuli Khachapuri We’re jealous of the people who live within delivery distance. The cheese has caught in places and is blistered and golden. And for those who are a little squeamish about raw eggs, this one is mostly yolk and cooks quicker than other versions of khachapuri thanks to that hot, bubbling cheese. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Chaqapuli Soft pieces of lamb break apart with the brush of a spoon and the broth is herby and full of greens." - Sinéad Cranna

Very good food and huge portions, if you plan to have starter and main be aware you will take half of it home. In every Georgian restaurant I go portions are huge and I always forget about it because I want to try everything 🤣 atmospheres was very odd, too bright , very quite and to many writers around felt like I have to whisper otherwise everyone will hear me what I say to my friend. Food nice, attentive staff but not my favourite atmosphere .

Excellent food. Difficult to go wrong I think everything was very flavourful. If you wanna play it safe go for the flatbread with egg and butter on top as appetiser coupled with phalkri (assortment one - though spinach is the best. As main try lobia (ask for their bread on the side)for vegetarian and the chicken in creamy sauce. Definitely try their beef / lamb dumplings. And most of all don’t forget to order the best water in the world - borjomi. It will really freshen you up (it’s volcanic water).

We went here for a large group lunch but the service was impeccable. Everything you ordered came on time. The food was also amazing and everyone left happy. By 12.30-1pm the whole restaurant was full so maybe book in advance. Great wines and great Georgian food. Khinkali was perfect.

We recently visited Iberia and had a wonderful experience. The food was incredibly delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The interior is stylish and welcoming, and everything was very clean and well maintained. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable, the only small downside was that the plates were taken away a bit too quickly, which made the meal feel slightly rushed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Really loved this place, first time eating at a Georgian restaurant, did find some of the starters slightly lacking in taste, spinach and cheese filled flatbread was delicious. For our main we had the mixed meats! Very tasty indeed.

Such a lovely restaurant! The inside is nicely decorated and spacious. Stopped by for a brunch and chose the beef and pork dumplings which were delicious. The staff are very friendly. Will definately come back.

Loved this Georgian restaraunt, very unique cuisine, excellent, top-standard service, beautiful atmosphere, very fancy. The egg-cheese bakery item was to die for.
