Ice Cream Window makes rich, excellent soft serve - Review - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This is exactly what it sounds like. It's a Central District takeout window from the team behind Temple Pastries and Sacro Bosco next door that serves ice cream. And their velvety soft serve paired with bakery-level toppings—like brownie crumbs or white chocolate strawberry bits—makes for a perfect little treat. Swirls of vanilla are snow-white and extra creamy. And while it looks like one measly cup couldn't possibly be enough, the stuff is rich. Grab a from-the-freezer ice cream sandwich or bar if you prefer harder ice cream." - Aimee Rizzo

The Best Soft Serve In Seattle, Ranked

"No, it’s not a typo. This Central District takeout window from the team behind nearby Temple Pastries serves both ice cream and sandwiches—not ice cream sandwiches. But the velvety soft serve works for an afternoon snack worth going out of your way for. Flavors like tangy pandan and tart mango almost get overshadowed by the toppings. (Almost.) Crunchy mini croissants make a great spoon alternative, and a coconut almond crunch that tastes like granola took a trip to Oahu and won’t shut up about it. " - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

Ice Cream & Sandwich Window Review - Central District - Seattle - The Infatuation

"No, it’s not a typo. This Central District takeout window from the team behind nearby Temple Pastries serves both ice cream and sandwiches—not ice cream sandwiches. But the combination of velvety soft serve and egg-stuffed bread works well for a morning meal and afternoon snack, respectively. In the case of the ice cream, flavors like tangy pandan and tart mango almost get overshadowed by the toppings. (Almost.) Crunchy mini croissants make a great spoon alternative, and a coconut almond crunch that tastes like granola took a trip to Oahu and won’t shut up about it. And while we wouldn't travel across town for the sole breakfast sandwich served here, it's tasty. Imagine a case study of how milk bread from one of the best bakeries in town can support a scrambled egg, yellow american, and sausage smashpatty with ease. It's just less of a breakfast sandwich and more of an excellent grilled cheese which happens to contain some ground pork and eggs—but it won't make you mad." - Aimee Rizzo

I appreciate the simple menu. Just 2 sandwhich options. Both so different and so good! Hoagie - had pickled cauliflower! So unique Chopped Cheese - salty but perfectly meaty with melty cheese I didn’t try the soft serve because it was breakfast time but that didn’t stop a lot of people 🤣 Takeout window only, same owners as Temple Pastries which have the best croissant type pastries. So many crispy layers! So I had to try this cutely designed takeout window.

Next door to Temple Pastries and run by the same folks, this is a grab and go sandwich counter. Got the “Chopped Cheese” which had ground beef, griddled onion, white American cheese on Temple Pastries hoagie bun. Definitely recommend this sandwich as it had a good quantity of flavorful meat, was cheesy, hot and was simply delicious. Didn’t try the ice cream since prior reviews below weren’t motivating. There isn’t much seating and it’s limited parking so be ready to grab and go.

Brand new spot from the folks that are right next door temple pastries! Tried their chopped cheese and it was magical. Bread (from temple) was to die for as expected. Ground beef, cheese, and onions were spiced to perfection. Seeing some negative reviews regarding the ice cream; didn’t have it so can’t speak to it but their sandwiches are ELITE.

Swirled the cherry almond and vanilla last night- WOW! The tang of the vegan cherry almond flavor was incredible, and the vanilla was so creamy and had specks of French vanilla in there. I LOVE soft serve and it is so hard to find quality, actually creamy (not icey) soft serve, and this place delivers!!! Ate it in a cup while strolling the neighborhood, great evening :) please keep the cherry almond flavor, it’s divine!!!

Sandwich prices are a couple dollars too high for the quality - and lack of ingredients - you get. Almost every sandwich would be significantly improved by fresh veg. If you're looking for the only chopped cheese on the planet without fresh LTO, this is it.

Not worth the price. $8 for standard soft serve. Only two flavor options - vanilla & vegan strawberry

Cute concept, though the ice cream is just alright. A bit pricey to not have any seating. There’s no reason to go out of your way for it. I would recommend somewhere else if in Seattle

The Italian Hoagie was so/so. But it was also quite expensive for a sandwich $15 + optional tip, and it took 20 minutes to get my order (which was just one sandwich, not even warmed up).
